4761  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex is automatically selling my coins on: April 23, 2018, 09:30:45 PM
1) How do I prevent Bittrex from selling my altcoins automatically? I don't see the "auto-sell" option any more.
click on Lab ---> Auto Sell.
Check whether you have enabled the automatic sale of any of your altcoins.

2) How do I buy altcoins again on Bittrex in the new interface? I don't see a way.
I love the old interface but there are few problems regarding the new:
The tokens/dollar value does not appear.
It seems that all your problems are in dealing with the new interface, this video from YouTube will help you interact with the site again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-y8rYJns9sg

Oh that is a good video, thank you for sharing it. I was wondering why they no longer showed the dollar value for some of my tokens. I do have one issue I cannot fix, though,,, how do I force a coin to show up on my wallets list first? For example, I have to scroll to 3rd page every time I want to see my balance, can I bring it up to page 1, does anyone know? Old Bittrex had my coins listed if I hid the others, but I could not hide coins on my new screen now.
This is the thing i dont like on the new UI where there are really some features doesnt suit out my needs unlike on bittrex interface before where you can able to hide those coins if you wanted but now you would really need to scroll into other page just to check out your balance which is quite awkward.

Going back into the topic. It is clearly the auto-sell feature is still on thats why it do autosell, for it to be stopped then instructions above had already given and you should follow those steps.
4762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pundix. next 100x? on: April 23, 2018, 09:05:04 PM
It was a long project that was going to bounce long. But I did not get the pundix because I did not sell the other projects I kept.
Yes their Ico take long and I have heared they will launch their platform today. I have seen pundix a good project and can grow it's value but 100x were not sure for that. So just now the price is increasingly so I believe it will pump continuously.
As the project made an announcement of a buy-back program and partnership, thus it gains attention to the investors as well their roadmap is indeed impressive, if they keep it track it's continuous growth will happen.
Ive been remembering those ICO days on where i do see its whitepaper and roadmap and luckily i did trust this project and now im seeing some serious profits into my folio but now im still holding and not selling out a portion of my holdings and as you have mentioned into their recent update about thier buy-back program which do really indicates that developers are really serious into their own project which do normally get caught attention into potential investors even more.
4763  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia Withdrawal Issues... on: April 23, 2018, 08:43:09 PM
About 3 hours ago I requested a BTC withdrawal. I confirmed it immediately from email and everything seemed normal. An hour, still processing... sent a support ticket... another hour and no response. I sent a follow up message on the same ticket and just received an email saying the wait time is.......

15 *DAYS*!

Cryptopia is more like a Crypt it seems. Things deposited there dont apparently leave.

Anyone else having issues or am I the lucky one?

LOL 3 minutes after I post this and 3.25 hours in, the transfer has initiated! Thank you BitCoinTalk Gods for listening to your humble servant's pleas for help! Wink
Just give them some time because there would be delays into any exchanges when it comes either on depositing or withdrawing funds. Some might be instant some might not. For BTC withdrawals in cryptopia i dont have any problems but recently i have a problem on GBYTES deposit which it didnt went through my wallet and until now it isnt still resolved. How sad in my part.

Going back, since the issue of yours is already resolved then you should lock this thread to prevent further replies.
4764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more airdrop is a lie, on: April 23, 2018, 07:47:45 PM
In my mind - many companies like of airdrops will never have any value, but I still believe that registrations on many of them don't take from you much of time
Same thoughts and which is actually right which joining these airdrops doesnt really take too much time which means it doesnt really mean for you to get frustrated towards these airdrops as long you dont invest on it itself then you are still fine. Time is being wasted but not really long, joining them is still considerable yet we might able to hit coins which will shoot up and make some easy money.
4765  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Knowing your tax liability on: April 22, 2018, 11:40:59 PM
Why not call the thread knowing your tax liabilty in the UK? I mean if it is about the regulation in the UK, how can people from other countries use it? Every country has its own tax regulation in regard to bitcoin or crypto currencies in general and you could even mislead people from other countries if they act based on UK tax laws!
I am with this which topic title is somehow misleading yet this is only pertaining on tax discussions based on UK! but we can still able to talk about tax related topic inspite on just focusing on UK itself.

The majority of our tax money doesn't stay within the state or country itself.

That definitely seems to apply to a lot European countries. It's insane that billions in tax revenue flows right into Brussels, while that capital could have been used in far better ways to improve education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc. I see around me how poverty even in Europe is becoming more of a problem than ever before, where regular education is severely losing the quality and prestige it once had. If you in current times want to actually develop yourself, you need to buy yourself into private colleges/schools, which isn't something each average person is capable of. Regular education is almost at a point where you can learn more yourself at home than wasting time in schools, which is the result of a reluctant government. If you don't invest in education, you are basically wasting the long term future of your country/economy.
Would like to know what kind of government do European countries have? Seems like theres a monopoly on this matter which all tax arent being applied into just ones place but rather distributed into some places.
Enhancing Education should really be focused on because it will really give an impact soon if the citizens of a certain country do really have degree compared into havent molded properly when it comes to education.
4766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am surprised !!! I am confused what is happening right now. on: April 22, 2018, 09:23:23 PM
every time I see my portfolio, surely I will always be surprised because the price of altcoin that I hold must always go down (red), and now the price of ETH down until the price of $ 380, I am confused what happened, but it has been almost 4 months market price does not rise- up, what do you think the cause of the market price is not rising?
If you do still hold your altcoins since in those 4 months had passed then for sure you would surprised once again yet the price starts to recover or clinging upwards. If you sold because you panic sell then its too bad. You should get used on how market do moves on where there are really times/months which is bearish where most coins in the market are on deep reds including bitcoin itself.Dontr be confused as long you do know on when to enter and to exit on profits then you are just doing fine.
4767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: focus on: April 22, 2018, 09:02:12 PM
Good day fellow traders, I'm not really good in technical analysis, but for a newbie should I just focus my trades in just one coin? your thoughts?
Yes you should only focus on one coin which you should practice on how price volalitility behaves on this cryptomarket.Dont rush out on multiple coins because this would really make things even more harder and confusing for you.Its better to focus on single than on rushing up yourself into lots of coins. Gradually increase your knowledge as you trade along the way. Experience will give the add ups into your learnings about on doing trading.Skills will be enhanced but would depending on how you do accept past mistakes.
4768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pump and Dump groups that are Good? Cryptopia on: April 22, 2018, 08:10:10 PM

2. Cryptopia Pump. New and has yet to do pump but same creator as another high profile pump group. also 0.01btc giveaways after 1000 subs which is worth the look https://t.me/lordofpumps

Wait, Cryptopia has a pump group? Well, in that case I just found out that Cryptopia is really into an inside job, scamming and hacking their own customers. Out of curiosity I tested Cryptopia exchange due to numbers of issues that has been throwned to them. I didnt have any problems at first, transactions runs smoothly until one time, I didnt recieved my deposit in my account balance and their customer support service is horrible.

This pump groups are a bunch of cheaters. Being happy earning profit from others loss, I guess these people needs to visit a psychiatrist.
You should really expect yet there are lots of groups being created either cryptopia pump group, yobit pump group, binance pump group and so on. Mostly exchanges do have only small volumes are ones who do have these kind of pumping ability yet they do have cheap coins being listed unlike on bittrex and poloniex and other huge volumed exchanges which pumping out a coin isnt really possible.
Even myself dont really see any benefit into these kind of groups but rather gives you the risk on losing money.
4769  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange security? on: April 22, 2018, 07:45:25 PM
Real newbie question here. Sorry but here goes.

Do folks use different passwords for each exchange they use?
Its a must and should really make as a habit on where you should make different passwords on different exchanges and even on your email log-ins.On this way you would really able to minimize the risk on getting hacked in row if someone did able to collect your logged-in informations and tend to hack.Using up same passwords into different sites would make the job more easier for them.Suggestiong above about password generators are also a good idea to used on.
4770  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Getcryptotab.com a scam on: April 22, 2018, 06:41:23 PM
Although it is legit it is not worthy. The reason is simple, they use your processor power as they cannot really mine with a browser to mine XMR Monero for themselves. They earn a lot more than they pay you from using your computer power so if you want to mine why don't you install XMR Stak and mine directly through it with your CPU, all the rewards will come to your Monero address and you are sure that no one may do shady things through your browser.

I don't consider Google Chrome as the most secure web browser out there.
You know people, would always comes after for a very convenient way which they would only surf the site and then let them use your computing or cpu power without even thinking another possible ways which is really more worth if he do really tend to mine using his own cpu power.Surfing these websites they cant able to execute background miners yet my antivirus is already blocking it which im thankful because in the past if i wasnt able to check out my processes there something beneath hiddenly operates. My pc was too lagg on those days due to that mining.
4771  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to replace coins as quickly and cheaply as possible ? on: April 22, 2018, 04:48:49 PM
How to replace coins as quickly and cheaply as possible? Which stock exchanges will be the best for the moment?
What remains apart from the stock exchanges??
Is it possible to withdraw and convert to fiat quickly without creating an account, verification procedures? Is there something like that now? What does it look like at this moment?
I know that there are many such topics, but I think it is worth to refresh the topic a little because a lot has changed recently.
When we do talk about exchanges or making conversion of our coins into fiat then the only way is converting thru them or made a p2p transactions in localbitcoin or paxful. All people here do know that every exchange would really need for you to register but having an unverified account do still make you anonymous but when the time comes you are already transacting big amounts then that would be the time on using up documentations to remove those restrictions. If you cant agree to their terms then there nothing you can do.
4772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How much could a Bounty Manager ask for with no prior experience? on: April 21, 2018, 10:49:54 PM
Are there any other factors that I have not thought about yet? (besides the dev's bugdet mentioned above)
I can't tell you since I'm not a campaign manager myself, let's wait for someone to tell if you did missed something.
This is what im waiting for someone to answer which do have experience on managing campaigns but i do believe rates and agreements would really depend between the manager and the company itself.Yet you are just starting out then you would normally offer lower rates than into those experienced and reputable ones. As far as i know they do make specific allocation budget for a number of participants either they would make it on fixed or basis manner.
4773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress? on: April 21, 2018, 09:39:26 PM
how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress associated with this?  I am checking it every few hours and it drives me crazy and makes me anxious. Is there anybody in a similar situation and how do you cope with this?

PS: I was trying to do this once a month, but I think, I missed the beginning of the bear market in January this year because of this.

Thanks,
Mike
I will often calm down when checking the market. I never worry because I am very confident in bitcoin when I have invested in it. This helps me a lot and it gives me a good spirit to seek out new investments.
The spirit is very important in the trade. So learn how to adjust your mind before doing this task. Wink
Adjustments should really be done nor you should really be prepared on the things you would able to find out or seen. Prices is way too volatile on any case which when you do have an investment you will surely got stressed if you do check it every now and then.Same goes on my side where i do check out things actively not only to bitcoin but also into other investments which will give anxiety when bear markets hits you.
4774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Increasingly Sophisticated Malware Infection Attempts on: April 21, 2018, 08:55:25 PM
As much as we like freebies we should be careful of the application we install on our systems expecially hack copy of an application because most of the hacker want valuable information back from us which will give to them not knowing and my first BTC wallet balance was emptied because i save the private key and password on my desktop by Zbot/Zeus trojan. I learnt my lesson in hard way

This is why i dont really entrust any other file lockers or any other similar thing when storing up private keys and other relevant information into my wallet access details. It would be much better if they are stored up on a flash drive rather than on leaving it saved on a desktop pc. Its too risky yet once the pc being infected those informations can really leak out.
In just a minute, malware can easily infiltrate a personal computer and take away all personal information. I think we should use the computer only to do work related to Bitcoin. Other things to do on another computer. Simultaneously protect your personal account in various forms of security. It is important that everyone is always careful about the activities that people suspect on the Internet.
Having a separate computer is a good idea but we do all know that not all people do have the capability on having both which why most of us will really have single pc which be mainly used into our crypto works and save up files connected to it.
4775  Economy / Securities / Re: Suggest me your opinion on: April 21, 2018, 08:17:18 PM
Crypto market conditions are currently in the uptrend and conditions like this is the right time to start investing with money you have on crypto. But, invest your money on crypto whose rank is in the top 5 on coinmarketcap.com as a guarantee in the future to gain profit.
If you are going on short trading or short profit taking then you are quite bit late since the price do already risen up.We should not always put into our minds or having the mentality on where we do only invest when we do already see the coins are booming up once again. You did actually missed the right opportunity on making money but if you go for long term then it is just fine. Investing do have always a risk which we wont know on when it would rise.
4776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Still Exist or Closed Company? on: April 21, 2018, 07:39:27 PM
Hello, last 2 years i decide to invest to some altcoin in market.. for 1 altcoin is worth than $1.. now, 1 altcoin is worth than $0.0036..

Is the company still exist or already closed?
What coin did you invested for 2 years ago? it only shows that altcoin is more of a pump and dump and by saying if that company still exist. Do you mean the developers?

Forget if it's a company or an ICO project, it only means that many took profits from that coin for the last years and there's no progress on it and it's starting to be dead while it's still surviving with a value of $0.0036.

Why on market this coin still exist?
Because there are people who are still trading on that coin and you can check on how much the market cap of that coin which means that there's still money on it.

Hehe, my bad.. im not saying because im affraid that will break rule of this forum..  Smiley

My Coin is E-Dinar ( EDR )..
It's volume everyday has $76,000 which is still quite high for something that isn't very popular.

Sadly, if you'll go their ANN thread it's last active was since last month. And you'll get words that this coin is totally a dead coin so you better remove your hopes that this coin will be pumped again and move on.

Where have you been for the last 2 years and you didn't sold this coin?

It's current value is $0.02.

EDR did make some noise when it just started and you are right gaining up that volume for a day isnt really bad after all which means theres still engagement of investors or traders on such coin. Having no updates on their thread doesnt mean that the project is dead but we can presume it would really be heading that way but well price would still matter on the demand and interest. Even theres no update but if people still trading it then theres still chance anytime for it to be pumped.
4777  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: April 21, 2018, 06:54:57 PM
No, i am not afraid of KYC because before buying the coin i will check whether i need to pass the KYC, most of the major companies are asking for KYC till now. When we ask the company they are kept saying we are asking KYC for internal audit, maybe they need to submit this information if they face any problems with the government.
It is already a different talk when we do mention about major companies which i do somehow entrust my personal informations with them yet they do really need to comply with the government but as we speak into new companies or groups which do ask the same thing it would really give us some doubts and same as yours im not really afraid on KYC as long you do know how to choose up a worthy project even they do ask documentations its just fine but always mind up on the risk when submitting something online.
4778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is HitBtc exchange safe now? on: April 21, 2018, 06:32:19 PM
If find HitBTC somehow safe. I've used many times and till now I have not encountered any problems that will lead me to their support page. But best still not to rely on exchanges use to only exchange and not as a wallet.
We should really done on this way on where we should not entrust exchanges when it comes on storing up coins. If you do make active trades then it doesnt matter at all as long you do know how and when to pull out those funds. For now every exchange do have different issues into each users which some may experience some may not but i would say Hitbtc is somehow safe to use up but dont store up big amounts on any exchange.
4779  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get Forex traders to trade in Bitcoin ? on: April 21, 2018, 06:14:11 PM
There are a large number of Traders in Forex ; who are keen to join the Crypto Trading, but are not aware of the process to create wallets etc.
What is the best way to help Forex traders make a smooth transition to Alt Currency trading ?
Some forex platforms do already have btc/usd pair which forex traders are really fully aware on cryptocurrencies existence. Its up to them if they would increase even more on their knowledge in bitcoin which they do made a choice to learn more. Not necessarily for them to enforce but wait for it to happen naturally because traders would really engage to a thing on where they can see that they can able to make profits on it.
4780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Bull Run? Market Cap rises +3,4% daily (+8,5B/Day) for 12 consecutive days!! on: April 20, 2018, 11:17:58 PM
We had 2 major dips after the market crushed from all time high prices. One at 7 January (425B) and another at 6 February (276B). Those two dips were normal corrections in my opinion from the ATH frenzy. Those 2 dips were followed by decent rises in market cap again until the market psychology went really bad and we entered the real long dreaded bear run.

From 248 Billion at 7 April all the way to 351 Billion today (19 April). A total of +103 Billion within 12 days. 8,5 Billion each day (+3,4% up per day)!

If this rate continuous we can be confident we will break the highest point at the start of the bear run that was 518 billion (18 February) within 19 days

That will be in my opinion the proof that we have finally entered a huge Bull Run period that will last months since market psychology will change to positive again.

That event will trigger a new cycle of fear of missing out the new market bull run to new and old investors. On top of that the media will start again praising crypto and after we break ATH prices new masses of people will enter the space fueling the biggest bull run ever seen!

funny analysis

in my opinion it s incorrect vision- because market is unlinear and you cant prediction in 1 day\week\month market profit what may be in next 3 month
Sure not to be too much bitter on someones analysis.! This is why crypto is very a speculative market. We wont know on where it would go but somehow we can make predictions basing on what we observe and we have seen on past history, might not be accurate but it would possibly goes on that price. We do check out as of this writing bitcoins price pump up once again to 8900 usd and hitting up or breaking 9k price will almost there and so as on the entire cap clinging to reach out 400B. whats a nice number to the eyes. Cool
