381  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1Btc=$10000 on: November 17, 2017, 04:05:06 PM
No, the boost from $5800 to $8000 was due to the correction (caused by Bitcoin Cash) that occured the week before.
$8000 is already very high and we might stay below $9000 until next year.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: B2X Tokens on: November 17, 2017, 11:05:12 AM
B2X is not dead ?
Segwit2x was officially "postponed" and not canceled. I know it sounds funny, as it could be postponed for 2019, who knows what is happening behind "the scenes"...

383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC holders - Do you think that Segwit2x will come alive? on: November 17, 2017, 01:37:44 AM
Personally I dumped my shares of BTC 9th November after the suspension of the fork. I just don't see how the high-price right now justifies the value.

So why are you guys still holding onto it, or buying in now? Huh
Do you anticipate that some rouge miners will carry on with the Segwit2x fork ,and then you claim your shares?
Even if the fork gets carried on, will miners really mine it? A coin without support from the community, I see more drawbacks than advantages.

I laugh at your losses and frankly speaking, we don't really need profit seeker people like you who just want to earn some free money and then planned to dump the bitcoins. We want a healthy ecosystem for bitcoin where profit seekers like you simply doesn't belong to. We all are here for earning some money, but we don't simply dump our bitcoins for silly reasons.

But I think you have already learnt your lesson looking at today's bitcoin price. Because you expected that bitcoin price will go down after the fork is cancelled, but look now, we are scoring even higher after filtering out all short term profit seekers. Just for your information, that SegWit was called off temporarily, not permanently. We still need to increase the blocksize for faster transaction processing. It will be taken care in future by some other method probably.
About the bold part, let's be honest for a second, all people buying Bitcoin are here for a reason, to sell eventually, at least 99% of them.
Most searches on Google are: Bitcoin+investment.
Loads and loads of holders have no idea what cryptos are and want to sell eventually. So I don't see anything wrong in OP's decision, sure he lost money since he could have sold at a higher price ($8000 last night), but 99% of people will sell eventually.
We all have a different target, but as long as Bitcoin is volatile like it is been this year, we will always have lots of short term investors, just here for the money, with no real knowledge about cryptos and just willing to pay Xmas gifts with their profits. Don't blame them.
People will hold for longer when buying things with BTC (house, cars, flight tickets) will be a normal thing. Still a long way to go.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bringing new excitement to the property market on: November 17, 2017, 01:25:49 AM
Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are beginning to find a presence in the property market, as sellers are seen to be putting a Bitcoin price tag on their house. Estate agents have noticed a surge in interest when a ‘Bitcoin accepted here’ sign is added to a property, and it makes sense that Bitcoin could play a big role in the property market someday. But, in the current climate, is it a good idea to sell a house for Bitcoin?

This is what Bitcoin can be used for IMO. People talking about BTC as an everyday currency are delusional. It is not and IMO will never be.
But in the real estate it has great future, not only BTC but cryptos as a whole.
In Dubai, there is a real estate agent (from UK I believe, Aston Plaza) selling luxury appartments that you can buy only with Bitcoin.
The agent even has a deal with Bitpay for potential transactions.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain wallet to add full Bitcoin Cash support by 2018, plus SegWit on: November 16, 2017, 02:47:34 PM
Pretty logical since ETH is supported.
Bitcoin Cash competition is far from over I guess.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet to Hodl Bitcoin on: November 16, 2017, 09:00:36 AM
As said above, Bitcoin core is a good choice, but you should also buy a hardware wallet for more security, for example Ledger Nano S.

387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC fall in price explained | YOU MUST READ IT! on: November 16, 2017, 06:53:59 AM
History is such that the price of Bitcoin is always fluctuating, and those who hold a small amount of bitcoin certainly want to get more bitcoin, so they get bitcoin cash in order to earn more bitcoin. Roll Eyes
I think your post is off topic, unless I didnt get it (did you read the original post?), please correct me if I am wrong.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC fall in price explained | YOU MUST READ IT! on: November 16, 2017, 06:12:06 AM
Haha, saw this post on reddit and thought if I posted it here it would get deleted.
How can we know if the author was honest or just trying to boost Bitcoin Cash in the short term?
Anyway, he probably made a big profit so kudos to him, but I can't take seriously this kind of message.
It was also mentioned in some Youtube videos last week, when lots of people panicked and sold their Bitcoin. I wonder if this topic will stay alive here. Remember: it is easy to influence people so better be careful when you read this.
389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN Electricity Problems in CHINA - BULLSHIT Story from Team-BCH on: November 16, 2017, 05:36:01 AM
There is some paranoia around China when cryptos are concerned, it is ridiculous.
There are even some people saying that with the pressure felt in China, mining activities will soon move to Russia, if conditions in China become unbearable.
Not too fond of this kind of rumors.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happens when regulamentation of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency will come? on: November 15, 2017, 03:14:53 PM
Hi,
Quite obviously, big investors want regulations, and regulations are already planned to take place in Australia for example.
See Japan too, South Korea taxing transactions, etc. it is already happening.

ICO? They need to be regulated too...

But right now Bitcoin has still a long way to go before reaching a more stable price. It is volatile because it is still very very small and dependent on a "few" people. So if you are happy with the volatility that leads you to big profits, be happy, it will remain like this for a while IMO  Wink

My 2 cents.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wake up before it is too late on: November 15, 2017, 02:20:35 PM
freightjoe has a point, many blind believers in these forums. That being said, if Bitcoin was a ponzi scheme, it would be over by now IMO.
Currency, no. Here I agree with you.

good posting. I only have one comment - namely that the Ponzi scheme which Bernie Madoff lasted for decades and had a magnitude of more than 60 billion USD when it collpased, hence they can indeed last for quite a while....
I also read quite recently that most search on Google had the word "investment" together with "Bitcoin", this was totally expected but it has to be said.

I am honest with myself, I "invested" only this year, already +80% profit, and intend to sell soon or later,  and the big majority think this way. By soon or later I mean 2 or 3 years so I am ok with a Ponzi of many more years. lol. Lets make money with it while it is still possible (and I would love to be proven wrong of course).

Currency, no. Here I agree with you.
Bitcoin will be a great asset though for people wishing to remain anonymous (I don't mean for crimes) for example to place bets on sports, or play poker.
I worked before in the betting industry, and I can tell, more and more people will be using Bitcoin, local governments want to control everything, Bitcoin will be useful to keep this "freedom".

But I have to agree big time about the transaction fees and slow confirmations. IMO it won't become a real currency, but if it has a future, will be usable for big purchase such as houses, cars, maybe flight tickets one day.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons behind failed Bitcoin Gold take off ? on: November 15, 2017, 10:56:39 AM
Though after the fork , BTC Gold kept a steady line in price , and recently touched nearly $600 per coin, but it could not maintain that enough thrust to keep price stable .. finally headed to south .. was it simple a pump and novice investors lost money in this spike , or what's objective or BTC Gold when already we have BCH and BTC ( BCH got recent pump though ) ? will such more forked coins come and sustain themselves in this crypto world ? eventually is fork's objective is to give birth to a new coin ? or its part of politics to keep price high and product premium ?  Roll Eyes

thoughts pls ..
Before stating if Bitcoin Gold is a success or a failure, we need to wait for the first reliable data about the computing power on the network. The bigger, the better.
Anyone here mining this coin perhaps?
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: (┌・。・)┌ 👌 Do you think you lost your oportunity to invest in Bitcoin? 👌 on: November 15, 2017, 10:41:32 AM
Hi xskl0
It is pretty obvious it was better to buy BTC at $10 than $6900  Roll Eyes
That being said, it depends on your target, do you intend to earn 100%? 50%? 20%? 300%?

Only question you should ask yourself is: do you think the demand for Bitcoin will grow, get stable or diminish in the following weeks, months, years?

Browse the topics on this forum, also watch Youtube videos, get the most information you can, answer the question above and decide accordingly.

Good luck mate.   Wink
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Asia Banking Giant Labels Bitcoin a ‘Ponzi Scheme’ on: November 15, 2017, 10:07:49 AM
Well then they simply fail to understand what the blockchain provides, a secured network to verify all transactions and participants, a immutable open ledger that is forever proven, this all gives immense store value, just because the price goes up everytime the demands makes it go up doesn’t make it a ponzi.
Blockchain and Bitcoin are two different things though, blockchain obviously still very dependent on Bitcoin but in the future, who knows...thats why I am expecting (hoping) for big improvements on Bitcoin before it is too late.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Asia Banking Giant Labels Bitcoin a ‘Ponzi Scheme’ on: November 15, 2017, 08:58:14 AM
One of Asia’s most prominent banking institutions has called bitcoin a ponzi scheme, signaling continued resistance to one of the most groundbreaking developments in recent history. “We see bitcoin as a bit of a ponzi scheme,” David Gledhill, chief information officer at DBS, told CNBC on Wednesday.

In his view, entering the bitcoin space doesn’t make much sense for DBS at this stage in the game. In a recent interview with CNBC, Gartman said bitcoin is a market for criminals and millennials.

“How can you buy or sell a painting using bitcoin, when the change in volatility is 20-30-40 percent in the course of a week?. Naturally, bitcoin’s dramatic appreciation has caught many sensible market participants by surprise.

Bitcoin faced an extreme selloff last week as prices shed more than $1,200. Blockchain alternative Bitcoin Cash (BCH) also gained ground on Wednesday, rising 3.5% to $1,322.

Well, about the price, he is right, Bitcoin is still young and too volatile. But still, you can very well use Bitcoin as a simple intermediary (that way you do not need to care about the price), even if I believe the big majority of Bitcoin holders do not use it this way.

Anyway, still young currency which needs a more stable price in the future to be more adopted, that's for sure.
Ponzi scheme? Hard to tell... but I don't think so, Bitcoin is a real asset IMO.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I lost everything, I lost my 5 BTC on: November 14, 2017, 12:47:25 PM
good news   Cheesy

I got my 5 BITCOIN GOLD, now it's time to HODL until it reaches 6k$  :
So your BTC are gone, but you have 5 Bitcoin Gold now?
I do feel sorry for you. You learnt your lesson the hard way.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you feel it on: November 14, 2017, 03:30:59 AM
In USA perhaps, and in Japan too, but right now Bitcoin's price is still massively dependent from Japan and China, and that is not good.

I think not everyone realize that around 25% of trades are done in yuan (renmingbi, chinese currency), that's why Bitcoin has still a long way to go to be adopted world wide. People like US citizen should realize and open their mind, and see what is going on outside US.
For instance, Bitcoin is still quite irrelevant in Europe. Right now, this is USA + Asia.

I also hope Bitcoin quickly finds a way to accelerate transactions, the fork was necessary and I still do not get why it was canceled and why so many people were against it.
399  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: BUYING BET365 ACCOUNTS AND DOCUMENTS on: November 14, 2017, 01:00:14 AM
Hello again there,

I have a bet365 account registered in Sweden, with deposit of 5 EUR made with the Skrill account attached to it (Selfie webcam verification done).

All is working, no scam. I will not scam anybody but I need serious offers in private, and will talk later on Skype.
There will not be long discussions on the price as my price range is too tiny at the moment, thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hey, do you have Telegram maybe? If not, can you write me on mvojmvoj@yahoo.com or text me telegram on username @badgalbelen , thank you!
Hi, I will send you an email in a second. We can also discuss on Skype (I don't have Telegram).
Cheers.

Wink
