381  Economy / Speculation / Re: More upside of BTC is approaching this year 2020. on: May 03, 2020, 09:33:19 AM
We already reach the 9k peak again since last week and the rally is still going on for 10k peak.

I think this meme really fits the value of Bitcoin at this moment.

It seems bitcoin's price stays a while in the range of 8500-8900$, but now it surpasses 9000$.
As of now, they're starting another run to claim 9200$ bitcoin price.

I've just read some of the traders' articles and posts that there are possibilities for the latest price movement to be close to the 2015 bitcoin chart. According to the context of bitcoin's halving and the 2015 chart, the pump could be more likely to happen this year 2020.

Quote
Zoom in version: in 2015, 1st consolidation in a bull pennant at the retest of the descending triangle horizontal.

And that's going to be another reason for you to keep more and make a long-term investment in BTC.
You have a point but everything can happen in the market especially that we are currently facing a pandemic right now so we should expect that this year the chances for bitcoin price to continue increasing is still 50/50. Every bull they trigger the bull season so we are a little bit hype right now and I am hoping that this will continue so we can see a better market this year 2020.

2015 and 2020 is not that the same even if the chart is almost the same because of the situation that we are in right now but if we can successfully break the 10k$ and 12k$ barrier by this year then we can safely say that we are already in bull season.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: May 03, 2020, 05:38:41 AM
90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams

If I see a project that appeared in 2018 until now has experienced a very significant setback. Most of them are con artists. Fraud that often occurs in the form of postponement of time, not paying the completion of the campaign, not being listed in the exchange, locking up tokens for a very long time, even some who cannot make withdrawals.

There is also something that happens with changes to the wallet payment to the platform in a short duration, so we did not know there was a change. And when we ask easily they answer the distribution period is over. Really we are like dealing with extraterrestrials.

They make campaign participants like their helpers. Change the rules of work as they please, some even delete from the list of campaigns, even though they have worked for up to a month.

Do they not think that we spend a lot of time campaigning for their projects.

All they have to know is that the services of campaign participants are very large towards the success of a project. It is they who continue to provide information to the public.

I hope the bounty manager can check each project before it is managed, and for cheat managers, stop cheating.
We can't blame that much the bounty managers as they need also a money and the happenings is only natural knowing that the market is in bear for the past 2 years but the percentage will likely to increase once we can hit the bull season again. As fellow bounty hunters, it is our job to find the best project to support and make sure that they have potential.

If we find any abnormality to the project then we can leave anytime we like so we can avoid losing too much time and effort for the scam projects.
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC breaks 9k, are we on bull run? on: May 03, 2020, 04:36:49 AM
hi guys,

just got the notification that BTC got pumped to 9k.
I saw a lot of liquidations on Bitmex alert.
from my perspective, we are on the new bull run which might be the new wave to a new high as the halving is coming very soon.
This is a good opportunity to take a look at the market of altcoins, almost all of them will be dumped due to high activity on BTC/USDx. I will take a look on the XRP might hit 0.3$ soon. This is not financial advice, it's my opinion regarding the current situation on the market.

What are your thoughts guys? Will we see the 12-15k$ in early next month?

This halving is very crucial because the chances that we can trigger the bull is still 50/50 even if the market right now is starting to grow. There is still a chance that the market will crumble after the bull run but if the market will continue to increase after the halving then we can say that the bull season has been triggered.

Let's just think positive because we can surely create a new ATH this year 2020 if the bull season the same with XRP price as everything will surely to follow once we will be in the bull season.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: May 03, 2020, 03:16:09 AM
I want to assume that there are few people, who make several profits from trading altcoins, but sell their profit to bitcoin, and then over time while holding bitcoin, it dumps and their profits dips alongside bitcoin.

Why not do it this way ?
Since you trade mostly in altcoins, as soon as your make your profits, sell them to stable coins or fiats, close that trade chapter.

If you are passionate about hodling bitcoin, always convert to usdt or other stable coins and be patient for a fair entry point. Because the market isn't running away

What do you think everyone ? is there a better pattern that can be practiced?

I am open to more suggestions.
It's not about the pattern, it's about the technique and decision making because not all the altcoin holders will do the same to what you have mentioned maybe there are few but that is their mistakes and I am sure that they will not do it again. Escaping loss is very important and you need to be wise in every decision that you are going to make so you can assure that you will not regret those decisions.

Putting your profit to stable coins is a good idea but sometimes other traders become greedy once they are already earning a profit and because of it they end up losing even their investment capital.
385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: May 03, 2020, 01:12:44 AM
I Feel like sharing my opinion and I would like it if anyone can convince me enough

So, let me say I've been trading or started trading for a while now but I still count my self as an Armature Trader so far. Why?
Because I've never made a good profit so far and whenever I make one, I end up at loss later.
But with all these, I still believe in trading than holding my crypto assets because I know with time, when I get to understand how it works and go very well, I can keep making my profit and will never loss more than expectation.

Reason why I said all these is because I hold some crypto assets a while ago because I believe in them and thinking they are going to be like top 100 in the market within years. But I was wrong.
I wish I have been trading since then and probably, I would have gain more or earn more because I hardly loss even as armature as I am.
Many people hodl but I think trading is more preferable.

So Maybe I am right which I think I am but still looking forward to others opinion or advice.
Of course trading is more profitable compare to holding but it will happen only if you will become professional trader which takes a lot of time to obtain and plenty of experience to gain. But again, once you will become a professional trader then you will be earning a profit for a life time as no one can steal your knowledge in trading.

Compare to holding that you will need to be patience and will wait for a months or years to profit in other hand you can profit daily in trading if you will become a daily trader.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in this new IEO on: May 02, 2020, 12:31:48 PM
Hello, I am new to blockchain and I stumbled on how successful Binance IEO is and the recent IEO conducted there, I witnessed how the coin price spiked after IEO. So i discovered that Latoken is about conducting an IEO. Is it a wise decision to invest?
It will be a wise decision if you know what you are doing but base on your statement I can see that you are still a newbie in terms of investing especially in IEO so the best thing that you should do first is to familiarize first on how the IEO works and what are the key factors of a successful project. Once you will become familiar on how the IEO works then you can use it as your advantage to find a better project to invest on.

You should also put in your mind that the higher the ROI is the higher the risk also, so it will be good if you will be prepared in the worst cases so you will not cry in the end if in case you will lost your money to any IEO that you have chosen.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Bitcoin as inheritance on: May 02, 2020, 11:07:49 AM
If I die, my family can use my death certificate to rescue all my money from bank and appropriate all my posses.

But not bitcoin, I was thinking about how to leave bitcoins as inheritence in a safe way, minimizing risks of be stolen by my own family (still if I trust my family, they can store improperly the keys and be stolen, or forced to deliver).

The perfect solution, in my opinion, is a mechanism whithout intervention that reveal my keys to my family, this could be done if I do not access some service for a month, or if I don't store some stuff in the blockchain for a month or ... I don't know a solution. And only my family could access my keys, possibly they have keys that allow then to access my keys.

An good solution could be some artifact, like a file, that I can send to my family, or left it stored online and thar artifact could reveal my keys only to my family.

My basic ideia is:
1 - Encript the keys with your password, but must be a very strong password, resilient to brute force atack.
2 - Print the encripted keys in paper or some more durable medium and store securely in your home.
3 - Reveal to your family a limited set of characters with wich they can sucefuly find the password using brute force, in a short time.
4 - If you die, your family must get into your home/safe box, get the encripted keys and use the characters to perform a brute force atack in order to get the keys.

Does anyone have think about leaving bitcoin as inheritance? Is there already some solution to this? Thoughts?

Remind, Covid-19 is over here.
The idea is great but the easiest way to do it is via flash drive or usb, save your private keys in notepad then you will also create an instruction in notepad on how they can access wallet then convert and withdraw it. You can just leave the usb in the vault or anywhere as long as the member of your family can easily find it once you will die.

There are many bitcoins also that were not being use because in this type of scenario especially if the owner of that bitcoin was unable to think about the inheritance and he died in either accident or a sudden death.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MY BLOCKCHAIN WALLET WAS STOLEN 0.39070099 BTC !!! on: May 02, 2020, 09:40:25 AM

can any one help me what i do !! this coins is all i have .

You can't do a thing to it already as it was already confirmed and transferred, what you can do right now is to make sure that it will not happen again. Install a firewall and be careful with the fishing emails or address so you can avoid this to happen again. It will be good also if you can drop what wallet you are using right now because if you are using a local exchange then you can email the support maybe they can do something about it.

Make sure that you safely put your private keys and no one should know about it aside from you, don't also save your private keys in online so you can lessen the chance that your private keys to be exposed.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy some alt? on: May 02, 2020, 08:52:19 AM
We are closing to the bitcoin halving event and the orice has already startes to act to the event as expected. We may now see a significant increase in BTC price as well. Is it a good time to invest some money on some altcoins, obviously on the top altcoins only.
Most of the alts are very dependent to bitcoin price so right now is the good time to buy some alts but make sure that you trust the alt that you are going to buy and you have a patience if you are going to hold it for a long term one. Because the bitcoin price right now is doing good which is currently sitting at  8.8k$ and will likely to surpass 10k$ before the halving will occur.

Top 10-20 alts are good to buy but make sure also that you are going to divide your investment to more than 1 currency so you can lessen your loss if in case you were not able to choose the right alt coins.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers in a top exchanges telegram groups on: May 02, 2020, 07:33:50 AM
This is for all newbies and those who don't know, please share among friends

Every single telegram channels or groups of crypto exchanges are tagged by scammers, be extremely careful

The moment you have a problem with an exchange you will instantly get messages from people claiming to be team of the exchange, you can get the following messages

1. How can we help you?
2. What problem are you facing on our exchange?

They will pretend to be the exchange help service and they will ask you to make deposit to get your issue resolved, honestly if you aren't familiar with scammers you can easily fall victim

Group channel of exchanges like binance, kucoin, Okex, huobi are full of scammers waiting for people that needs the team help to resolve an issue, be wise
I haven't heard that there are issues like these that are related to big exchanges, are you saying that the exchange itself is the scam? because binance is a reputable exchange and I am not so sure if they will do some tricks like these as it can surely ruin their reputation. There are many scammers everywhere and their tactics are also keep on growing like they can easily upgrade any tactics that they have just to scam the other people.

This kind of tactics is a little bit old but most of the newbies are not aware of this, if someone will contact you and they will say that they are the customer support then you have 2 options. First is to ignore them and second is to talk to them but make sure that you will not send any money even if tell you to do so.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another scam project please stop scamming on: May 02, 2020, 04:56:16 AM
Hello everyone i am watching this project from the beginning the project name is HUSTLE . Now i will explain how this project is scamming from ico till now. My main intention is that new investor please dont invest in this type of project.

1. Husl IEO price was 0.000008 But Never list at that price but it went to 0.000001
in just one month.

now you will tell me they will be dump by airdropers or bounty hunter no you are wrong they never gave husl to any airdroper and bounty members.

2. Second Main Reason Is They Tell Everyone on Jan that they will distribute the coin of bounty and airdrop till February but still not received to any but they delay again to one month . Now they will distribute it till April. Dont know if they will pay in April also. I am not writing this because i have not received any bounty or airdrop coin I am investor in this project and till now i have loss almost all my money which i have put in this project.

3. This Is the most important point they do manipulation on exchange , they are running bot in trading This All upset me and i lose hope to recover my fund . When i tell the admin of the project they increase price after i told them and they ignore every time. Proof Of Manipulation in their coin in just one day.

Image One Show 1.49 BTC Volume Shocked

But Lol Image 2 Have 0.056  Cool

LOL WHAT A MANIPULATION IN JUST UNDER 12 HOURS.

See I Am Saving New Investor Don't Invest In This Project I Invested And Now I Have Nothing . Totally Scam . If You Find Such Project Inform Me I Will Check It And Keep EYE one it. You can contact me here :- bradyjof1@gmail.com

Let's Make Crypto Space Scam Free.

If you are an investor then I am sure that you already learned your mistakes which is not to trust newly created projects as the risk is very high for investment to vanish like a dust. But if you are a bounty hunter only or you only joined their airdrop then you cannot fully blame that project owner instead you should blame yourself why you end up supporting a shit and a scam project.

I know it is pretty hard to distinguish the scam project from genuine but if you will do a little research before joining any bounty campaign then you can at least prepare yourself for worst to happen and you will not blame anyone from your decision. But you have done a great job in creating this thread so anyone who are not yet informed about their doings will be alerted via this thread.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's break our boundaries with Bitcoin on: May 02, 2020, 04:06:32 AM
I've noticed that the concern about the Coronavirus is still continuously growing. More and more cases are being recorded day by day and I find it too alarming that we don't do something about it. Or just to contribute some ways on how we could reduce the cases by means that we know.

We need not necessarily clean every road we see, things we handle, or sanitize everything that we have. But to consider money as a means of transaction is quite dangerous day by day.

According to this article created by CNN, South Kore's central bank is currently quarantining all their banknotes from circulation as it became a big factor to the spread of the virus.

Image Link

This is when we need to take our edge on being one of the early adopters of Bitcoin to attract people to use bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies instead of cash.

There are some advantages that we could tell them regarding bitcoin being alternative to cash:
  • Cashless Transaction - The spread of the virus is quite fast, so transacting without personal interaction is advisable
  • Fast Transaction - Instead of staying in a place to pay a particular service such as bills or fees, bitcoin will save their time and can prevent them to interact to someone that is infected.
  • Alternative - We could tell them that for the meantime, it is dangerous to use cash so bitcoin will just serve as an alternative will not really replace their currency.
  • Potential Bitcoin increase - to further attract people to use bitcoin, tell them that at this time, more and more people are seeing the potential of bitcoin which is also classified as a good investment if they became early adopter of it, their money will not just serve as pure funds to transact but as investment as well.
  • Bitcoin as new leading currency of the world - In case that the concern about the virus raises too high, we need a unifying currency that could support each and every one of us regardless of our nation and nationality. That is bitcoin.

I know this is quite bias to consider only bitcoin as the crypto to be used, but the idea here is to introduce them and literally reduce their risk to acquire the virus. In addition, bitcoin will supply the basic knowledge of cryptocurrency to them as they enter the cryptospace, to learn and to innovate their way of transaction.
Every governments are already aware about the existence of bitcoin and it's advantage especially in this situation where the virus can easily be transferred even in fiats. Those advantages have been considered already by most of the governments that are open with crypto currencies but do you also wonder why they are still not using it, most of the governments are not yet ready for bitcoin acceptance especially that there are many sectors in their area that can't use it.

Those area will be those who have no electricity with uneducated people, meaning they cannot easily adapt the sudden shift of payment system.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin on: May 02, 2020, 03:14:16 AM
The thinking of new peoples who wants to invest in coins, they first of all want to know the benefits, security, alternatives and effect of invest in their lives.

Several of peoples doesn’t have enough knowledge of coins who are in already in market, some of coins are includes in this time.

There are several things that might be known for make invest for make batter future of their family:

   #Great Security

   #High risk=high benefits

   #future primary money or alternative?

   #One world currency

#It will be legitimate tool to whole world

   #affect to democratic country’s economy?

Bitcoin has the potential but with regards to the following things that you have mentioned in order to have a better future, there are things that are already there and some are also missing or will not happen at all. One world currency will not happened at all knowing that every country wants to have their own local currencies the same with fiat so I consider it as it will not happen at all.

And the rest has a potential but still everything will depend to the governments whether they are going to fully accept bitcoin in every corner of the world.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: May 02, 2020, 02:24:35 AM
I prefer to post this here on this section because this is where it actually originates from. This is where the bounty scammers come to catch their "prey"- hunters.

Therefore, I have observed that since 2018, after the 2017 crypto bull , almost all bounty have been failing. After months of running bounty, some that manage to get to the exchange are dead on arrival with less than a dollar worth of 20,000 unit (or more unit) of shit distribution to hunters.

Consequently , with my little time here and as far as I have noticed, their are certain signs that seem like a no go area if we really want to participate in a fairly good bounty that we can also benefit from our labour, time and data.

These signs for me are :
1. When the thread is filled with grammatical and typographical errors.

2. When the task in the different or any of the allocated bounties are not defined. For example, how many facebook shares / posts are not defined and then you are left with asking from the shit BM. This is definitely and certainly a red light.

3. When the task is limitless. For example, no limit to shares/post.

4. When the task is too much. For example, 10 shares  Grin

5. When the requirements to get your reward is complicated. For example, you can be asked to sign up and provide referral number or code  Grin

6. When the process for reward isn't proper. For example, you notice you will be asked to watch a video to know how to provide wallet address or downlines  Shocked Roll Eyes Grin

7. When spreadsheet isn't updated weekly.... Just run  Grin

8. When weekly dates are not seen either on the thread or spreadsheet.

9. When you see only week 1 , week 2, week 3 etc just on spreadsheet without date.

10. When complaints on telegram isn't responded to promptly and you are not satisfied when you get response.

11. You don't need to continue if you notice you have been deleted from telegram and you know you have been asking legitimate questions to understand things not clear to you about the bounty.... Run run fast  Grin

12. When it is not handled by a reputable account as BM.

13. When there is no ANN at the beginning or it is provided later in the bounty maybe because someone is consistently requesting for it.

These are some signs I can remember and I know they are negative signs for you not to be paid after you do your part most times.

*** These signs are ; apart from whitepaper typographical mistakes and plagiarism  Grin Grin Grin

If we go with these signs and not sign up with a bounty you suspect could be scam, then the bounty will have less participants and with time, we can clear these scamming bounties out from this forum.

Each one tell all. You don't need to join suspected scam bounty.

I hope this thread will help bounty hunters.

All of that sign are the basics in telling that it is a shit project or a scam project but if you can also widen it then it will be good knowing that scammers are also adapting and keep on evolving their techniques. There are many projects right now that acts like a legit but in the end they will run the money of the investors.

It is pretty difficult right now to stop those professional scammers especially that most of them are using an advance technique that cannot be seen easily by us who are not yet that professional in terms of digging some deep information about the team behind it. But all of that are still very useful especially in identifying those shit scammers who are still in that level.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone booked a hotel using bitcoin on: May 02, 2020, 01:32:40 AM
As I browse through my social media account, facebook, I saw this post saying he booked a hotel in Thailand using bitcoin in Travala ( application for hotel and accommodation booking.

A quick view for Travala, the heart of this system is Travala token (AVA) which helps the platform offer tokenized incentives to its customers and any other user that can help the platform grow. ( quick google seach)

Here's the video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-v-pLZzVO6s&fbclid=IwAR2urpi9mDQ9k-Rs-L5N5-KYUbwYen01SmXtAdwkhsY16E3w5iJff8Y718I

There is no actual moment that he is booked and paid using bitcoin. What do you guys think about it?

Would you book a hotel using bitcoins?

Why not, if there will be a service here in our country to book a hotel using a bitcoin then I would be glad to use knowing that it I am a crypto lover and paying in bitcoin is less hassle compare to bank cards. Bitcoin is getting bigger and the adoption is getting wider so we can expect that there will be platform that will surely accept bitcoin payment in booking a hotel.

I am not that familiar with Travala but they are doing well as they were able to partner to some hotels and the guest can book using their tokens. What I am hoping to see is a platform that will fully accept bitcoin and other top currencies.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could, would you delete every altcoin? on: May 02, 2020, 12:44:47 AM
I would. Why so many cryptocurrencies should exist? Only one, and all of us would want the same coin.

Like in the real world, we have yens, euros, dollars. Imagine having only 1 currency  Shocked

Wouldn't it be great?
There will be no competition if it will happen, what is good right now is that we have plenty of option on what to invest in case the other currency that we invested are not good anymore. And if there is only one currency for example only bitcoin will exist as we have deleted the other currency then we can only expect an increase and there is no decrease of bitcoin price as the demand is only pointed to bitcoin.

But in the other hand, you have a point but I am not sure if it is possible knowing that every country likes to have their own currency in which they would have a control of it that is why we have plenty of fiat.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH after halving? on: May 02, 2020, 12:18:42 AM
Before 2016 halving, the price went up a total of 50% and this time, when btc is getting closed to the halving, we saw this sudden price pump. During 2016, there was a little uncertainty from China, while we have now the pandemic. What do you think? Will we see 10000 above within this week and new ATH soon?
All will always depend to the big investors if they are going to push forward the bitcoin price because if they are going to do it then there is a big chance that we can hit a new ATH again after the halving. If we will be below 10k$ once the bitcoin halving occurs then the possibility to shift the season to bull is 50/50 because it's either a big pump after the halving or a big dump.

But let's just hope that we can shift to bull season after the halving so we can expect a big pump and for the new ATH to occur, this halving is very important knowing that we are facing a pandemic right now.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: May 01, 2020, 11:57:27 PM
Well, as the title says what is the safest feature crypto games online to be gambled for newbies.
Due to this pandemic lockdown and everyone must stay at home my friend looking for alternative online gambling. He was asked me what is the safest crypto gambling game for them that they never encounter. Though playing cards are very common like poker, Tong-its or Blackjack, it is different when you are online.

What do you think? --can I recommend dice and roulette gambling game since among the poll I listed this is the easiest gambling I have ever known. I added a poll and lock this thread once I have got satisfied answers from our fellow gamblers on this community.
Most of the newbies don't have further knowledge in playing cards and dice & roulette as the there is a big percentage that they will lost their money to it knowing that that house is in advantage if we are going to talk about that games so it is not a good game for them to start. Lottery is base on luck so even newbie can try it but the chances that you are going to win is pretty slim therefore it is not that good also.

Therefore I can recommend to them the sports betting as I am sure that they have sports that they love so they can just go to that sport and bet the team that they like. They have more chances to win in sports betting compare to other choices that you have mentioned base on my opinion.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the price of Altcoin stopped in one place? on: May 01, 2020, 11:32:03 PM
It seems that the price of Altcoin has stopped in one place and is getting lower. If the price of Altcoin stays at that fixed point, then it is very difficult for the price of Altcoin to fall. If the price of Altcoin now becomes too high, then people will start buying more and more, which will cause the price of Altcoin to go up. Is that right?
Yes you are right, all the currencies that are not stablecoin will easily decrease or increase their price base on demand. If many people are starting to buy for example Eth then the Eth price will increase it's price dramatically as the demand is there but once the holders will start to sell their Eth then the price will also decrease.

That is how the crypto market works, altcoin prices didn't stay at a fixed point even stablecoins as there are a little movement of their price like 0.001$ something like that but it will not affect that much compare to the currencies that are not stable as they can easily goes down like half of their price in just a day or even worst if the dump is there.

No where in the world is currently safe from Cov-19 and there is lockdown in every country today, this is the best time to gain people's trust, online job seeking have increased through Google search and new people are getting into crypto investment, what is the best time to release your project if it's not now?
New investors will not invest to the newly created projects easily instead they will still gather some useful information on how to lessen the risk while investing in newly created projects. The project owners can't easily reach their goal if they cannot hit a big investors that will be going to support them because a group of small investors will likely to collapse upon the listing of their currency and most of the project owners don't want it to happen.

Yeah you are right that there are many people right now that are seeking for online jobs because of the pandemic but the project owner didn't want them, instead the project owners are looking for investors so they can hit their goal. But the market is starting to look handsome right now, so maybe in the following months we can see the bull season and I am pretty sure that project owners will surely launch their project after that.
