381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 12, 2024, 05:15:26 AM
It's not always easy to make the right decisions. Are you a gambler? If you're offered 1 btc without playing or 5 btc by playing (with a chance of 2 to 1). What do you do?
If I do not bet, I will take 1 BTC but if I bet, I will take 5 BTC. I will ask what if I lose the bet, will I take the 5 BTC. If they say no unless I win, then I will just take the 1 BTC and not bet. If I bet, that means I am greedy and I will likely lose the money and regret because 1 BTC is not a small amount of money but huge and enough to make me richer.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: March 11, 2024, 02:30:33 PM
US election is not like those that happens in Africa that the incumbent president must be the winner of the election. US election is based on voting for the qualified candidate that can do the job best. Biden administration has been supporting wars a lot, which has begin to make his supporters decamping from him, to Trump.
When Biden was not yet a president, what makes him a qualified candidate? Okay let us say he did not do as expected, which means people do not know the qualified candidate but vote for people they prefer. US is just a good country and nothing more than that.

Not that Biden administration as been supporting war but US likes to support war that they know they should support. US supported some wars during Trump's time.
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: March 11, 2024, 01:56:16 PM
We have seen Bitcoin reach 70k USD and it even reached a point of 71k briefly. We are seeing history being made right here with the new all time high being set once again and it is happening even before halving.
Bitcoin reaches $72350. It is now at $71490

I have high expectations that bitcoin will reach 100k but will it reach 100k without any major decline in price? Does it seem realistic that from 70k, bitcoin will continuously rise up?
Do not expect the price to just be going higher. You can see when it reached all-time-high, it fall to $59100. When it reached $70000, it fall to around $62000. The thing is just hold until it get to $100000 even if there is any decline, the increase will be more.
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: March 11, 2024, 12:53:17 PM
I am surprised that Donald Trump odd is lower than Joe Biden odd. Joe Biden is the present US president. I am not good in this type of betting and I will not just bet it. If I should take someone to win, Joe Biden. If I should wish someone to win, I will take Donald Trump. But I am not going for anyone than to stick with my football and casino games.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: another ATH , 71k and still climbing. on: March 11, 2024, 11:57:25 AM
Why move this thread from speculation to economics? It suppose to be in speculation board.

Any reason for this Pump now?
The main reason for this pump are the institutions that are buying bitcoin and also because bitcoin supposed to be bullish this year and next year. We are in bull period.

are we  going to see 75k this time?
Bitcoin has just surpassed $72000. $75000 is very close. We are going to $100000.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've projected my holding after this bull run. what's yours? on: March 11, 2024, 11:36:53 AM
I'm just here to ask you all especially those who are newly investors to this bitcoin investment platform like me that WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH YOUR FIRST INVESTED FUNDS AFTER THE BULL RUN?
I will convert it to fiat and some to stable coins, wait for bear market to last and and invest back after a significant bear market. I will use the money I receive elsewhere for other things. But later I may prefer to use my bitcoin money to start a business but that has not come to my mind than to sell and buy back after massive bear market and make my children to inherit it.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will you bitcoin holders sell if we have a major price spike? on: March 11, 2024, 07:58:45 AM
After seeing the current rally I would never sell Bitcoin below $80k but I will check the market fully before even selling at $80k because if the market become overly bullish during $80k price then I will wait for the pump to reach its intensity before selling some of my holdings.
Bitcoin may get to $100000 in this year. I think selling at $80000 will only be selling too early. Although people will have different opinions on this. Anyone that wants to sell should sell around $100000. Bitcoin is going above $100000.

I would most probably sell it for the purpose of trading not for permanent selling at that price. I'll accumulate more Bitcoin with the money when it sees a correction, that's how I'm planning to sell Bitcoin. I guess if you really wanted to earn some good profits then don't sell but hold your Bitcoin, however if you're good at trading then you can sell and rebuy in order to accumulate more of it.
Some people will see it as a correction but before they will know after they want the market to dip further, they will see the price higher than the price that they sold it. That is one thing about trading.
388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Application do you use to monitor crypto movements daily? on: March 11, 2024, 07:06:33 AM
You can use Coingecko or Coinmarketcap. But I often use the exchanges to track the price but using Coingecko and Coinmarketcap to check other information like all-time-high and exchanges the coin is trading. But if it is just bitcoin, its information is available everywhere. I even once a time have an app that directly display the price of bitcoin for me which I can see on a widget every time on my device anytime I open my device. On PC, I have an extension for it so that anytime I open my browser, I see the price immediately.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person view on: March 10, 2024, 07:45:17 AM
how do you view women gambling in your area:
If men have the right to gamble, also women have the right to gamble that is how I see it but most women are not gambling like men.

how do you view notorious gamblers
You said people that are wasting money like their salary on gambling. It is an irresponsible gambling habit

how do you really feel when you lose money on gambling?  Do you feel bad or just lie to yourself that's it was for fun?
I will feel like I should not lose even as it is a small amount of money. But later I will just let go because of the small amount of money that I used for it.

how do you spend your gambling wins
I would win small because I stake to win small odds. I spend it on beer and enjoyment if I win that week.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It’s unlikely that anyone besides you will be happy with your winnings. on: March 10, 2024, 07:34:12 AM
People say that gamblers prefer the tell people about their winnings but not telling people about their losses. I am different because I tell people about my losses and not about my winnings. The only person that I can tell about my winnings is a gambler like me that we many times gambling together and selecting games together. Telling people about your winning is not what I can also tell someone to do because not all people around you like your success.

But we should not forget that gambling is a game of risk and likely losses will be what that will happen instead of winnings.
391  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Mexc wont unfreeze my account on: March 09, 2024, 07:51:01 PM
You need to know your login details and also have your 2FA secret code. This would have helped you not to go through this inconvenience time.

Know that they are protecting your account. Give them all necessary details they need.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does possessing information play an important role in betting ? on: March 09, 2024, 05:58:38 PM
Probably you didn't read my topic well that's your fault, it is very simple to understand what I am trying to say and obtaining correct information in any gambling type. For instance let's take sport betting in this example, to start betting and chose the good matches or teams to favor you will need much information about that team before betting on them, such as the team injured players, the tactic they will use against the opponent, studying the other team tactics and players.
Another example is slot games, before chosing the good slot game for you using a specific capital or betting balance, you will need to read and get much information about that game such as minimum bet, free spins, maximum win, good RTP and auto spin for example, some slots they require higher balance than others.

I didn't have to give you much details like these ones above, however, my topic is explaining how obtaining information is also considered as a strategy for gambling, without that you may keep losing your money, not enjoying your activity beside wasting your time with wrong games for you.
If you have explained better like this, it would have been better. See this yourself:

-Ensuring the confidentiality of information, as the gambler must make sure that he is the only one who possesses the correct information and falsify it in order to deceive others.
-Use them at the right time to control the game and betting.

This makes it not straight forward and confusing, especially the part that I bolded.

Let me also tell you, while gambling, you are not the one in control, it is the gambling site because no matter how certain a match outcome can be, it might be otherwise. Also that in sport betting, the bookies are using odds not to be in favour of the bettor and using it to earn more from gamblers.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Restricted games on one casino but playable to other one on: March 09, 2024, 01:51:59 PM
I think you should ask the casino customer care about it. They will be the one that can give you the accurate answer. If you use VPN to bypass the restriction, it might lead to something disappointing like not able to withdraw because you use VPN to bypass one of the rules. Casino opinion about this may vary from one casino to another. If it is me, I will not use VPN to bypass it but instead prefer to visit the other casino to play the game.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does possessing information play an important role in betting ? on: March 09, 2024, 11:55:16 AM
Do you apply  this strategy while gambling?
-How do you benefit from it ?
What strategy? You have said nothing about any gambling strategy. I do not think you even know what you are talking about. There are many strategies that gamblers are using while gambling but what you said is just not giving any useful information about any gambling strategies.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: March 09, 2024, 11:49:02 AM
Does this really happen a reality or it is just some sorts of mental reasoning fellas?
It is just some sort of mental reasoning. It is a coincidence and nothing more than that. We do not know much about God but we would say anything good that happens to someone is God's will but about this gambling of a think, just know that that day was just the lucky day for your friend. I will advice you to advice him not to gamble more than necessary and not to gamble with too much amount of money.

397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I just woke up and saw wins in my gambling app on: March 08, 2024, 05:30:16 PM
This is another reason why gambling can not be a job or anything like a source of income cause you can't know your games would play out and no predictions is ever accurate.
Exactly because the game that you think might be won might not be won but lost. I have played some games recklessly before and I was surprised that I won. That is gambling.

If you have such experience share it with us let's see the luck guys around.
I have chosen first 10 minutes goal before and a goal was scored before 10 minutes. It was a big odd. I have predicted exact score several times and I won some which is a huge old.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your go-to sports betting risk management strategies? on: March 08, 2024, 12:21:50 PM
I have wanted to try hedging and arbitrage betting but I did not know how it can result to winning from my calculations. The outcome of the game can be in a way that no matter what, you will lose.

I have tried cash out before and I noticed I should not use it anymore because it can result to losses also. I do not think anyone that is gambling with small amount of money will want to cash out.

I enjoy free bets.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you avoid some games because of racism? on: March 08, 2024, 07:44:52 AM
Next time would you choose to not bet on a particular game because you feel the members of the VAR, or the referee are racist, and you are sure that there would be some manipulation?
To avoid matches that can be manipulated, I go for just big leagues like the EPL, Serial A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Lique 2 and some others. I only think that the lower leagues that are not common are the ones that can be manipulated because I can still go for second and third leagues like Championship, Serial B, Lique 2 and others which are common and well known. I also still go for leagues in countries like Brazil and Argentina. But there are some that are very low leagues that I can not go for.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple mistake that makes you lose everything on: March 08, 2024, 07:28:07 AM
There was a time I played sports betting and had the bet spoilt by over0.5 goal with an odd of 1.05 even when my mind was telling me to remove that particular event from my slip. I think that mistake is normal and what makes gambling what it is.
I still remember the time I selected like 8 matches that gives over 10 odds. All were over 1.5 and over 0.5 goals. I won 7 matches already that day and it remains one which was over 0.5 goals. I thought I would win but the match ended with no goal. But if it is about mistakes I can not call my losses in gambling as mistakes. Gambling is a game of chances.
