Had the same problem. Try the factor reset and cables unfortunately my 2 cubes were just DOA so they have to be RMA, so no choice if you cannot get it to come to live |

How to recover a dead controller ? After taking the advice of KNC to try to get the other 2 cubes working. It required me to constantly reboot the miners to test. But the constant reboots might have bricked the controller now since flashing the SD card no longer works. I have also bought 2 other SD cards to test as can be seen in the image. The controller refuses to boot fully, any suggestions ?  |

Do they have to have the boxes ? If not I have a few 280X https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=689927.0I have other models also that only been used for less than a month. Hi Guys/Gals,
Got my titan today that was preordered unfortunately. However I am currently having some issues with the miner.
Symptoms:
1. Controller only boots and displays IP when there are no cubes connected
2. If any single cube is connected to the controller it refuses to boot
I also bought a new SD card and also tried switching around the cables. But the controller still refuses to boot once a cube is connected to it. Any advice or suggestions ?
Make sure the data cable is connected the right way around. When correctly plugged into the controller, the cable should extend away from the edge of the controller board without looping around or being folded over. More subtly, make sure you have the data cable plugged into both rows of pins on the cube board. Since KnC opted not to use shrouded pinheaders on the hashing boards for some reason, it is all too easy to miss the back row of pins entirely and end up with just 5 pins connected. Thanks for the suggestions did all that before but went ahead and tested again for good measure. Just my luck of the draw I guess. Waiting on KNC to create a RMA. Definitely learnt my lesson on this for sure. |

Yes but if you plan to over clock above 300 it would be best to go with 1000 watt + the 850 watt will not allow you to overclock |

Tested each one individually instead of sticking and trying to fix the same cube. Two(2) of the cubes are DOA. Cube Bad 1 Once it is connected to the controller it fails to booth no matte what.The white light only blinks occasionally and the screen remains blank. Changing the port cables and re flashing the SD card did not help Cube Bad 2 This cube is not even detected by the controller at all. It does not show up in the interface however the controller is able to boot with it. Have also tried different ports |

I was hoping you guys were going to be different than the other manufacturers, but, now that I'm just getting canned responses 3 days before the products are supposed to ship I know I was wrong.
Think about the situation you're putting your consumers in. It doesn't instill much faith when even YOU don't know (or won't tell us) if the product will ship 72 hours before they're supposed to. THAT is poor management.
Just shut up and ask for a refund. Or do you not want one ? You must be off your medication or due for a snort every time you start complaining. It is not like they are not compensating or denying refunds. Been mining since 2011 and SP-Tech is the best manufacturer in the BTC mining business today.No other manufacturer today can match their customer service and how fairly they treat their customers. 100% guarantee. Just be reasonable dude. Mute for you. Reasonable is providing your customers with updates. You're all so used to getting bent over you think shitty business practices are acceptable. Enjoy the rest of your life not standing up for yourself. Glad to live in a world where I can speak my mind. Why don't you stand up for yourself by taking a refund instead of complaining ? I have stood up for myself and have been treated fairly. Still suffering from burn marks from KNC though. They are a fair company. |
