I like BTC at 320-350. It started a serious uptrend, and was so strong to shoot off mid-trend. That is naturally not sustainable, so a fully-formed 2-3 Fibonacci breather is in order.

My take is that in January we cross 500 again, this time for good.

Lesser probability scenario is that the bottom (300ish) does not hold and the whole uptrend is questioned.

I don't personally believe that the probability for a sudden upwards move is too high, because if anyone wanted the price to go up, it is better to do it in exactly the way already seen, and repeat until the major bubble develops.

We're just slowly going up so the miners can still be profitable on the block halving. I agree, there's no point in a sudden jump. Just take it easy.

I ja pogledao...

385  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: November 14, 2015, 10:58:05 PM
Cijela emisija posvecena Bitcoinu ili samo onako, spomenut?

Pa jesi pogledao opce? Preko pola sata govore o BTC. Dakle cijela emisija samo o tome.

Ne, nisam pogledao, zato i pitam Cheesy

Budem kasnije pogledao sigurno. Zvuci dobro...

388  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin halving to be canceled? on: November 13, 2015, 11:58:38 AM
WTF is this thread Huh
A block reward halving already happened from 50 to 25 BTC. Nobody got crazy, everyone knew what was happening.

Why should anything be different in July? 12.5 BTC per block is your new game. Get used to it, and get used to a higher USD/BTC ratio.

well in theory because the lower the block reward the less margin miners will have for they profit, it mean that they must rely more on the price increase, so it make in theory, sense that they are against it

but they know that changing anything so critical about bitcoin will actually kill their profit anyway, so nothing will really happen by this point of view

Don't think there'll be a profit loss. Same thing happened from 50 -> 25... And we're still okay Smiley

This is 2013 all over again Smiley
391  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How should I secure my bitcoins? on: November 11, 2015, 09:27:37 PM
If someone hacks into Coinbase, they could steal alot more than 2 thousand dollars. xD

I'd say if you trust yourself:

- Cold Wallet
- Paper Wallet

If you don't trust yourself:

- Bank Vault
- Get a trusted person to hold and keep your Bitcoins safe.

don't do it Smiley
better trust your self and save your money at paperwallet or trezor

anyway im never hear about Bank vault accept to saving bitcoin ?

One would create a paper wallet or something and put it in the bank vault, like a safe deposit box.

My ledger HW.1 has been dispatched and will arrive this week. I was watching a tutorial on youtube and one of the founders of ledger has 900BTC!  Shocked

900 bitcoins must be very big money. It's only possible to earn this much via providing any services related to bitcoin. I believe they must have earned that much money from selling Hardware wallet itself.

Meh, I got 900 BTC in a month back when I was mining... Of course, it was 2010 so it's a different story Cheesy
I don't think they/he got that much BTC only by sales.

393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi Nakamoto will ever come out from his hood? on: November 11, 2015, 09:15:32 PM
He's dead.

no proof, but i can give you that if he was going to reveal his identity he would risk his life for sure

i would not reveal myself either with 1M coins

All of those old addresses still exist with the many, many coins totally untouched & unmoved. I'm not convimced either way but it is possible that he's dead.

Moving those coins would make him dead.
I don't think he's dead at the moment. He's now living the dream and we know nothing about it Cheesy
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: November 11, 2015, 01:42:22 PM
I am using Bitcoin core wallet on my PC and Multibit on my android mobile phone. Used Coinbase before on my mobile before but stopped that after they gained too much power and started to throw crap all over the place.

I didn't know Multibit had an Android wallet.. sounds cool, I'll check it out. I've been using Coinbase on my phone lately although I don't do much transacting with it.

My bad, it is android wallet, i was importing keys from multibit to android so it is sort of typo. I wish there is Multibit for android lol.

Ah! Ok.. I was wondering why I'd never heard of it before. Yeah, the Android Bitcoin Wallet is a good piece of software indeed.

Try Mycelium as well if you're using wallets on Android. It's got a lot of cool features.

I'll take anything that's left! And I do it fast Wink

There's a lot left, choose a document, post here, start working Wink

All the unit journals? By the end of the year I'm guessing I would be done.

Those first BTC mined will never move... Trust me.
Still we don't know how much Satoshi is hodling. I don't think he stopped mining after that first 1M or so.
399  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: November 10, 2015, 05:53:25 PM
If you don't buy now just wait until December. Seems that everything is pointing towards a drastic drop in price and it being the end of the year will cause people to dump for fiat. It's hard for grandma to give the grandchildren btc for an xmas present under the tree in a Christmas card.

Is it?
400  Other / Meta / Re: Activity Question on: November 10, 2015, 05:43:43 PM
You didn't get my point...

If we only get 14 of activity each 14 days, how the fuc* the other guy have 20 of activity with only 6 days since his sign up?

The system works like that. Currently his activity increases with each post. He could spam up to 1000 activity if he wishes.
I don't exactly remember how it works, but after some time it stops increasing like that.
