3801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If crowdfunding started from IEO on: December 04, 2020, 01:05:40 PM
I'm just curious, if IEO was the first crowdfunding that came out with full hype just like ICO in 2017 would there still be better trusts on new projects today? I believe that IEO delivers more trust through top exchanges and that's why they are still very much alive today compare to ICO, what do you say?
By the time ICO become famous, there's a lot of issue about exchange being hack or turn into scam so if IEO starts first before ICO, I believe the result will be worst and tons of investors of money will be loss. By that time, there is no funds insurance on exchange so if exchange hacked and loss tons of traders money. That loss will never recover so I believe ICO is better to come first so that the exchange become established by the time IEO introduced.

You have a point here. During become hit during 2017, Many exchange exit scam like CCEX, Cryptopia and many more. So if IEO introduced earlier maybe many project will be bankrupt since most there funds still there. If that multiple exchange exit scam happened. There will be a huge trust issue on exchange and cryptocurrency in general until today. Mt.Gox is the best sample why crypto user don't trust anymore CEX.
3802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chances of BTC surpassing the value of Fiat Money on: December 04, 2020, 02:51:17 AM
Not possible at. BTC price always reacts on Fiat market situation. Just like what happened when COVID-19 hit that cause stock market plummet tremendously. Although BTC should not be affected since its digital but it follows the trend of the stock market. This will be the same to Fiat money. There is no way BTC will attain that value since Fiat is the one that making price pump. If there is no more Fiat, It means that BTC will gonna collapse because Fiat is what people use to purchase things and not Bitcoin. And for that to happened, I believe it requires all Billionaire like Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet to be heavily invested in BTC since they are holding the majority of the Fiat except country funds ofc.
3803  Economy / Reputation / Re: Cheating translator and incompetent manager on: December 02, 2020, 12:42:17 AM
Bounty manager nowadays doesn't do proof reading anymore on the work of translators unlike before. They just hire random guy from nowhere and accept the translation work. Bounty Detective really don't check at all what shit written on the translation work that the company is paying for. This just show how low quality the current campaign management business and its very unfair to other translator that do fair job because they split stake for it.
3804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com $250K Giveaway 🎲 Instant BTC & ETH withdraws | Live games & Slots! on: December 01, 2020, 05:42:22 PM
I just deposit 60$ to participate on the daily free ticket and hopefully for free spin. Is there any wagering requirements to withdraw my deposit money in case I complete all the wagering requirements for the giveaway? I'm planning to deposit additional 15$ daily to receive more ticket and try some slot. But I will not play that much since I'm not a fan of gambling anymore.

I hope that I can get a response here.
3805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is hard fork and is this same for all currency? on: December 01, 2020, 03:26:48 PM
I saw a reddit post that explain hard fork easily. I do research about hard fork by the time bitcoin split BCH. And the explanation below really helps me a lot to understand what it is.

"A hard fork happens when a new version of the full node client accepts blocks as valid that previous versions would have rejected as invalid. The moment such a block gets submitted to the live network, the new clients will accept it and build on that chain, whereas the old clients will reject it and start building on a different block at that height, at which point the two networks are operating on different longest chains (hence fork)".

Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/34rn2r/eli5_what_is_a_hard_fork_and_what_does_it_mean/cqxfqge?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Same goes with XRP, ETH or other blockchain project. Split will occur once the supporter of block is divided into two group with different vision on the project.
3806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 is LIVE!! on: December 01, 2020, 02:42:46 PM
This is just the first step of the ETH 2.0 launch. This won't extend ETH capacity until Shards are introduced. https://ethereum.org/en/eth2/shard-chains/. But definitely, a huge step forward.

Yeah, Sharding will make there TPS boost dramatically. I don't what's the current TPS or if its available but this news will good once they show the performance of the new blockchain.

It's good to buy ETH right now since this update means they are moving toward to a successful project unlike before that ETH V2.0 feature is just a speculation. Great to see this thread.  Smiley
3807  Other / Meta / Re: [PROPOSAL] Partial reset of airdropped merits on: December 01, 2020, 01:01:28 PM
I have a friend with legendary account here that already inactive for a long time. He is the one who mentor me on Bitcoin and introduce me this forum. He contribute some knowledge and spend time here during he is active.
So if your friend one day decides to return and takes part in bounty campaigns, he should have his airdropped merits removed? Or do we let him keep his merits due to his past forum contributions? There is no way to make that work without causing controversy, and we don't need more of that. Users should be motivated to join the forum, not be sent away.

He will definitely don't do that, He was a multi millionaire businessman before he introduced me this forum and he didn't participate in any campaigns here before. He loves mining different cryptocurrency and that is the only thing he do here. He loss his interest on visiting the forum since the mining community here is not that active compared before, He is just using discord to join in crypto mining group and he is already busy to his company.

Sorry if I don't elaborate furthermore my statement. What I really want to emphasize are those newly woke up account which is a product of account selling that joining bounty campaign just like what OP describing.

3808  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is there any project that main on decentralized derivatives? on: December 01, 2020, 11:46:44 AM
Try project serum(https://projectserum.com/) it is a derivative exchange built on Solana blockchain with 50k plus TPS. It has a cross chain feature in Ethereum blockchain so basically you can trade both ERC20 token and Solana native token, They have also a native solana BTC in there platform so this exchange fits to your description.

This derivative exchange is a product of FTX exchange so you can guarantee that it was safe and trusted. They are still on early phase of there working exchange.

This is the first time to used Bitamp wallet via mobile browser. Some feature still not working like lightning bitcoin and exchange, Is this available in Web browser?

The website design is very cool and it's very easy to create account(almost instant). I just notice that the private key format is different to the regular private key, Can I import it on different wallet such as electrum and other wallet?

I hope that you have a mobile wallet available in playstore and appstore. Your wallet is very solid, One private key already contains 3 different wallet type (legacy, SegWit and SegWit native). I might use this once you have a mobile apps.  Wink
3811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does the RSI change based on future events? on: December 01, 2020, 10:13:34 AM
Since BTC is volatile, A group of whale/exchange inside job can easily manipulate the price and used indicators against most of the traders that doing future/leverage trading. There are many times before that an exchange manipulates the price of bitcoin by buying and selling huge volume of Bitcoin in contrary to the position of whales.

RSI indicator is giving an accurate data since its just base on the price history. There is a manipulation going on that's why its not reliable to use it on crypto for trading guide.
3812  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius Bitcoin 1 BTC 2013 Physical Bitcoin on: December 01, 2020, 03:45:00 AM
You should rephrase your title into "Auction" since your rule implies it is an auction and send a front face picture of the coin to assess the hologram condition. As for proof of ownership, You should take a picture of the coin beside a piece of paper written the current date and your bitcointalk Username.

That is the standard procedure on selling/auctioning item here. I'm sure other interested buyer will request that sooner. Goodluck!
3813  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How should I cash out now that Coinbase wont allow me to? on: November 30, 2020, 06:01:05 PM
Hi,

I've got a bit of a problem in that I have a hard wallet, a Binance account and a Coinbase account which I have my crypto spread across but I've had an email from Coinbase informing me that I'm not able to deposit or withdraw money any more and I'm not allowed to exchange Crypto for FIAT. They gave no reasoning and  have not responded to my support request 2 days ago.

Considering that Binance wont allow you to withdraw money to FIAT I'm in a situation where I have no method of transferring my Crypto into Fiat and withdrawing my funds.

What would be my best option for allowing me to get my money back into my bank account should I need to?

Thanks

What currency are you using? Do you try already Binance P2P trading? This is what I used to cash out my money in to Fiat. That's your best option to convert your crypto into Fiat.

You can post trade offer on other P2P exchange like localbitcoin or the bitcointalk marketplace>currency exchange. Your best choice is to trade your crypto in to PayPal, Skrill and Moneygram

Binance P2P: https://p2p.binance.com/en

Thanks, unfortunately they're not letting me transfer to my Paypal account either for now.

So, I could send my Crypto to Skrill or Moneygram then convert it to GBP and withdraw to my bank account from there?
Yep. But you should try first binance P2P if you still have balance trap there. It's convinient to use. Check out the link I attached above before you try the other P2P platform. If you decided to used bitcointalk currency exchange section. You should hire escrow when dealing on low rank / untrusted account. Always check trust feedback before dealing to any user there.

Any website or proof of your previous client?

So basically this service is just like fund manager that you are the one who will decide the client portfolio distribution. Are you the do the trading or you will just give the list of token and percentage. Your fee is a bit high but if you can show proof a good trading success rate then it will be fair.

Yes it is like a fund manager only. And I have been a full-time trader for 3 years.
Not sure if I can a link here. The returns are good and the minimum portfolio size that I consider is $10k. But fund managers take 2% of the fund size + 15% of profits.
So that way, it is way high! And I am thinking of further increasing it only because it is an exceptional return that I am giving

The main concern is your credibility. You are still new here no matter how expert you are outside forum. You should make a way on you put show your portfolio by adding picture of your previous client transaction and proof of your work. A newbie here without proof of work is untrustworthy and you will experience hard time on getting your client here. Your offer seems too good to be true that's why I'm asking you proof of your previous work.

Here wo go again. Another waves FUD of price prediction. Waves developed the worst DEX ever, slow and low liquidity on the exchange and now they are using DeFi to incorporate in there technology to gain public trust again. I'm not a butthurt of waves but I'm sick of there moves same with tron. Bunch of announcement to pump the price without any promising development.

There's a lot of better blockchain that already leading the market. But since wave is using DeFi hype again, price might pump again soon.

Partially agree to your statement. Recently wake up account for the sole purpose of joining bounty campaign should be reset merit. On the other hand, many inactive legendary and hero member gain there rank through there previous activity and contribution here in the forum and its very unfair to reset there rank just because they are inactive for a long time and didn't received any merit.

I have a friend with legendary account here that already inactive for a long time. He is the one who mentor me on Bitcoin and introduce me this forum. He contribute some knowledge and spend time here during he is active.

3820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why bitcoin price is growing and typical traders fomo on: November 30, 2020, 10:40:20 AM
A proper assessment of behavioural patterns shows that the environment we live in and the economic behaviour of the people around (in that environment) plays a huge role in our Economic behaviour. A very powerful influence on People's  buying decisions is still the other people around them, whom they trust. In an environment where everyone is talking about bitcoin and how it has risen over the years and the projected increment in the future, people in that environment consciously or subconsciously will gain interest.

This is true. People tends to follow what is the trend so that they will not left behind regardless what will the result. No one will buy to a token that no one has interest since that means that token is not worthy for investment. They always follow others suggestion especially if the guy say it is a well known crypto influencer. FOMO is always present when there's a lot of people surging in to enter any investment opportunity.
