Its hard to say concreate statement on this, because the previous fork has many wrong prediction on bitcoin and bitcoin cash that is why for now ill just wait and continue to support bitcoin and continue to believed that bitcoin would stay at on the top of crypto currency world.
Nobody knows,just enjoy the ride. It might fall a bit but still we can see that btc were able to increase on this much. New record for btc price and it might fall or increase more after fork. |

A year ago everyone who called 4000 or 5000 USD by the end of 2017 would have been called crazy ...
A year ago I thought 3000 USD by the end of 2017 was unrealistic. I never dreamed of prices like this but I’m obviously very happy with what’s happening right now. Maybe you have bunch of btc saved before this happen,im happy too even I cashout some of it last week, regretted but still fine since I btc finally recovered and reach more than expected. |

These are just speculations and rumors that it is possible to happen, they don't have grounds yet unto what could be the possible reason for fiat currency to crash but it is far from happening if I will be the judge. Fiat currencies has been here for so many years and people are used to it already.
Fiats were still in need,even cryptos gain popularity we can't deny that we can't use them physically anytime unlike fiat that are many uses. But still we need both. |

It went up because of the upcoming fork and down due to russian News  So true, no Need to panic; get yourself some cheap alts! Sure, the upcoming fork is really making a whole lot of people to dump their alts so as to benefit from the upcoming fork. However, I still have the feelings the market was manipulated as the alts are gradually being pumped back and obviously those who panic sold their alts for losses must be biting their fingers now. Also, I do not really see the Russian news having any effect on the price. It is presently still at $4800 and normally, for every bull run, there will always be a point where it relaxes a bit. $5k at this moment too much pump so we might expect dump after, nut still don't sell and grab always opportunities when there is. It's still increasing and promising too much amount now. |

Blockchain technology will be fully developed. WE can see many improvement and upgrades to be able this blockchain technology to be integrated effectively. This will be adopted by finance institution such as banks to record their data. Aside from that different company and industry will get involved to have this blockchain technology integrated in their system.
I think blockchain and coinbase will be the pioneers of the world bitcoin wallet system(e-wallet), now even coinbase is believed to be used in some forex markets on wall street and nasdaq, we just need to trust and wait for their latest innovation step and continue to use it indirectly will have an effect on continuity of bitcoin in the future. Yes i agree with a lot of users in here, bitcoin cash was a fail.. And i think that the same is going to happen to bitcoin gold, because we all know that those coins who came from a fork are only created to be dumped by those who receive them for free.. This is what i am going to do of course, but 7 of 10 are probably going to do the same.. Just lets see what happens in the next weeks, we will notice some news about it and how it is going to work.
We will not put in risk our investment into something new that didnt even have explanation were can be used, alts will be much better atleast they have their own specif use for their specific project and as long as there is btc then i bet we will keep on trusting it. |

I think that you can control the volatility of bitcoin by launching a bad or good condition. Good news will increase the price, and the bad will be lowered on the contrary.
Sorry mate, but this cannot control volatility but will even make it more volatile. What do you think has been going on all this few years. I am not sure if you understand the control we are talking about here but the control scenario you just said is apparently not a way to control it. Controlling is more like finding a way to make the volatility stop and not increase. I agree Bitcoin volatility cannot be controlled, though there might be manipulation from time too time but it is just temporary. Bitcoin Volatility is driven by supply and demand, sometimes demand is so great that it push the product up and sometimes other people wanted to sell their stash so a sudden flock in of supply to the market make the price goes down. If we want to control it,we need to get the attention of many as well as to make news to convince people in every event, btc is too volatile to be controlled, China bans may affect the price but not enough to control it fully , it just too many were in panic, but see it recover fast. |

I think you should start with yourself.
Are you emotionally and financially ready to start trading? Are you ready to take all the consequences behind this?
Trading needs money, time, skills and knowledge so if you don't want to be all worth it then loosen up.
You can start by reading and watch tutorials in youtube. Also you can ask your well experienced friends and lastly be picky in what coins do you hold. Determine which coin is for short and long term holding.
You can learn it slowly,but always be aware that losing will be part of it at somewway,but once you learn it and masters it you'll see that it will be worth it. |

For me altcoin have a chance against in bitcoins in this future if the bitcoins reach their limits. The price of altcoin grows up higher than bitcoin. But for now altcoin don’t have a potential to conquer bitcoin otherwise there will be a complication through bitcoin that ethereum and altcoins will be to influential to other bitcoin users.  Too many alts to choose from,i don't think there is an specific alt that will be against with btc at this moment, btc will keep growing at top,even the splits outcome may not stop btc rising. |

I've just been doing my daily crypto news reading and lately i've been seeing all positive news for BTC.
*Goldman Sachs CEO thinking about bitcoin
*Japan accepting more bitcoin in retail and starting more exchanges
*IMF chief says bitcoin and virtual currencies could be the future
So im pretty confident these all contribute to the recent increases in valuation and with the steady growth of bitcoin adoption over time it seems like there is nowhere to go but up.
Do you think now still a good time to invest or has the news already been priced in?
The inside pink papers for the China government have said that the whole time. I cannot quote it here on my phone, but it was a comment to the effect of, "To test and verify the integrity of both the financial network and community, we are initiating rolling test bans." Remember my words here, even if we are hearing out news china backing out of china, but believe me they will be involve in bitcoins more strongly than before. Just wait and see. Some rumor that China already planning to bring back btc, they already see that btc were not dependent on them and it can keeps growing even without them,and they don't want to missed it so they will be back for sure with lot's of btc stored in them. |

We would like to think that Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are huge, and I think they will be, but so far we need to understand theay are still in a growth phase. When compared to USD or EUR, BTC is still very very small, other cryptos are obviously even smaller. But if you look at the rate of growth, cryptos are doubling every year or 2 whereas fiat is not, suggesting that BTC and other cryptos will burst out into the open.
For cryptocurrencies,btc is really the strongest from its popularity and uses,btc can easily attracts users as well it is much convenient to use. And we know that we can benefit alot from it. |

I think I should buy bitcoin for now and invest it in the long run. It seems every year bitcoin will increasingly have a high price  it was proven that btc is good for long term investment,as we see btc price increase too much from what it is before. So save now and spend it when our saving already reaches amount we wasn't expected. |

I think October is going to be a good month and rally back to $5,000 overall on the stock exchange and economy is booming at the moment.

for the popularity of bitcoin gold I do not think it can be talked about at the moment, and for its bitcoin price I'm sure it will increase before the fork happens, because many people will buy bitcoin to get the gold bitcoin. at the time of the first fork last August, there is the issue that bitcoin in our wallet can be lost, then panic appears to sell it, so the bitcoin price had dropped before the fork happened. but there does not seem to be any more panic for this second fork.
it will definitely increaae and newbies will be panic that can cause its dips,that's normal now,on every even in btc newbies tends to panic and I hope they already knew that dump and pump is a normal thing in btc. |

Bitcoin really has a bright future ahead. Most countries might want to control it but they can't (If they saw bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a thr eat). Some players might close a long the way but it will not stop Blockchain technology. Bitcoin's and altcoin's value sure does increase with time but bitcoin shows the most extreme cases. In the near future, it is not impossible to reach new records in pricing and development.
Now China is aiming to remove ICO bans,then definitely btc have a future. Btc can help us and our economy in a ways we didn't think possible for us in just having only an education and a job. |

finally we can see that Chinese government itself said that it is impossible to ban bitcoin and I think they want to come back with bitcoin and its good for crypto currency in future. this will bring new hope for their people to still using crypto currency and they don't have afraid because of the banning from their government. I think Chinese government is trying to open their mind and accepting crypto currency that will bring new opportunity for their people economic.
They just see how btc can stood without them,and they realize that btc can help their economy,then we ight expect fast pump now if this news were true. |
