3841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is for you the best Defi Project for 2021? on: November 19, 2020, 10:27:08 PM
DeFi projects today are all about high yield investment, no real use cases at all

I fixed your post for you.  There was some extra nonsense in there that needed to be removed.

As for my opinion...  I think whatever DeFi project you are able to escape with your investment before they crash is probably the best.

Absolutely correct. DeFi especially those financing is just like a ticking time bomb ponzi. This kind of project that promising a crazy APY for staking is meant to be crash once there is no new token holder come and stake in there pool.

The most dangerous project of DeFi is YFI, YFI itself don't have a real value because its real use case is for voting power so its price is base only on speculation of holders.
3842  Economy / Reputation / Re: Another trust abusing by efialtis on: November 19, 2020, 03:24:04 PM
I have seen the pms and looks like you tried to force him into doing something or get distrusted, then you distrusted him and told him basically it can change in the future( if he breaks and does what you want).

I would say the abuse is on you OP

Apart from this; which just looked like some trust drama attempt, I'm going to ask an evident question....

Why are you complaining in NOVEMBER about a trust rating left in JULY? I may be missing something, but it just makes no sense to wait 4 months to do so

Maybe the guy who gave the feedback is not in DT list by the time he leave the feedback so the OP didn't notice that time. I notice that Efialtis become a DT1 on August update which is 1 month after the feedback left.

3843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Gambling on: November 19, 2020, 01:29:30 PM
This is a keno variety game. Try visiting casino with Evolution Gaming online games. If I remember it correctly, They are offering online Keno game. I believe Fortunejack and Sportsbet have this game. This is a lottery game so there's no trick on this since its a probability game. Your chance of winning won't change no matter what number you pick.

I thought this was an Ending game in PH which the result is from the final score of a basketball game.  Cheesy
3844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bots: Traders Take On Them on: November 19, 2020, 11:01:08 AM
Everyone wants to make a profit from trading cryptocurrency. And there are lots of users or people in the crypto world who offered Crypto Trading Bots. Do you think it is advisable to take this kind of scheme? Is it really legit to use trading bots? https://crypto.co/technology/crypto-trading-bots-traders-take-on-them/

The problem on using this trading bot was you can't verify whether the code program on this bot is working properly or not since most of is not a programmer and there is no way that the seller of this service will reveal the code.

Using exchange advance feature like different of order type, stop losses and so on is still the best way to trade easily and safe rather than using this bots.
3845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Probability on: November 19, 2020, 02:54:11 AM
Do you think the professional poker players memorized this? Does this increase the chances of determining the correct hands of the other players?

Even they somehow know the probability to win, the key to win is proper execution. That's why even with good cards, it's not an assurance of an easy win.

That's correct. Professional poker players do not just automatically fold if they have very poor hands. As always mentioned, poker games are not just about luck. If you are given 3 of diamonds and 9 of hearts, it doesn't mean you no longer have to play the game. But they must also have rough ideas as to their opponent cards.

That's true but it varies in different situation. Just like on Poker All Star table. They all know each other that they are all Pro, so bluffing to a master that knows the probability like Daniel and Phil Ivy will not gonna work because this guy surely eat alive the bluffer if they really holding the strong hand.

I know many user above considering the bluffing in poker because it is what always see during the highlights, But in reality, the chance that you can see a bluff is very rare in real poker scene because once you caught bluffing, You never use that again on same table or else you will burn. Most of the poker player memorized the probability that's why they can easily assess whether they will still call or not.

Try to watch full poker tourney. Pro usually fold when they have a very weak hands. They didn't even consider to bluff.  Cheesy
3846  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-11-18] Bitcoin price surged up to $82,000 for a brief moment on Binance on: November 19, 2020, 02:27:43 AM
Market order at its finest. LOL

Although this not a big deal for a guy holding 29BTC on his that using market order. IMHO, There's no user will set an advance order at that price especially on TUSD as it has low market and obviously whoever use that pair didn't expect that there will be a guy like the sample that will do market order with a huge volume. This is sucks, Binance market maker take all the profit.

If you honestly think I was trying to scam a $225 item when I’ve been trading on here for years, you’re even more touched than I already thought.

But it's OK if you think I was trying to scam a $225 item?   When I've been building trust here for a decade without alts?

It's much more likely this is a Rmcdermott927/OG escrow scam.   I'm touched with the gift of common sense.  Smiley

You’ve wasted enough of my time.

Supporting the flag now although it's kinda useless since the account was newbie but I understand your point about this since the user is hijacking your serious thread with a troll/false accusation. This screenshot should be put on the OP so that everyone can see this proof as soon as they read your thread.

Try to use report to moderator button on all of his harassment post. I'm sure that it will be deleted by the mods.

EDIT:
Flag removed.
3848  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 18, 2020, 03:39:15 PM
Today when i try to withdraw from HitBTC.com i get this error :
Withdrawals are temporarily disabled on your account.

After i googled, i find many other people have similar problem.
I'm sorry because i wasn't aware of this problem with HitBTC.

Is there a hope i will get my fund from it?
or it's like other scam sites ? no hope?

They implement KYC to user with an abnormal activity just like what you did. Your has been dormant for a long period and you deposit a significant amount. I encounter this issue before but it resolved after I undergone KYC. They are fast to reply on this kind of issue. Just make sure to create appropriate support ticket and do it in a nice way.

Most of the people claiming hitbtc as scam due to disabling account are those who didn't want KYC. If you are to do the KYC, You don't have any problem and you can easily get your money back. Refusing it to do so will be a pain in the ass because you don't have a choice. No one can help you to solve your issue here. Hitbtc account account here in the has been nuke by negative trust so they don't any care about there reputation here.

As I've said, Approach them with a gently manner. You will recover your funds.
3849  Economy / Gambling / Re: SCAM TrustDice.win on: November 18, 2020, 12:58:00 PM
yes trustdice is a scam 100%
they stole once, 0.2 btc from me too

Creating a separate thread for your accusation with evidence like conversation to support and proof of amount that you scam will make this scam accusation against Trustdice strong. It will help us to support a flag if ever your evidence was strong. Posting this kind of accusation is not fitted on gambling section.

You can refer to this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 for your own accusation thread. Let your money loss get justice by exposing scam casino.
3850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen for Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2020, 04:46:29 PM
BTC is extremely volatile that's most the big merchant like Amazon is hesitating to accept. It will be hard for them to process return in a volatile currency. Plus the cryptocurrency regulations is still uncertain so they don't to risk on using it since there business is running smoothly using fiat and there is no strong demand for Bitcoin to use in there platform.

I believe in case they decided to accept BTC in the future, They will not directly accept BTC but they will use third party services to convert instantly BTC to fiat.
3851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After ICO, market has IEO. After DeFi, market has CyberFi. Be cautious! on: November 17, 2020, 02:53:33 PM
After ICO scams, the market has IEO scams. After stake and masternode scams, the market has DeFi scams.

And CyberFi is here for you. Be cautious and don't invest into any projects that are new and only because people say it is a very potential project.

I am not against project promotion but please tell us what CyberFi is Smiley This is the first time I've heard of it and still can't understand what CyberFi focuses on and why do we have to invest in CyberFi while the Defi projects are making a big profit for me? If possible then recap the CyberFi goals, Tokenomic and their roadmap and post it on ANN, I would appreciate it. Wink

I believe he is pertaining to this project https://cyberfi.tech/

In simple term, Cyberfi claims to be the better version of DeFi with great user experience for all DeFi user. They are just hyping market again by introducing a new type of DeFi. I agree to OP that this is a fraud and might result to a loss in case you invest badly on this project.
3852  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I trust cryptocurrencies? on: November 17, 2020, 01:54:00 PM
Honestly, it seems to me that are some big players that control this industry. I think they mine whenever they want to manipulate the prices. Can you please explain how can I trust crypto more? Thank you

Even on stocks there is a manipulation for a big player. Just take note that whales will never dump there bag unless the price of the coin they are holding is already overbought. Whales can't unload all the tokens due to limited liquidity of crypto so manipulation is not a big deal for crypto in general unless the manipulator you are pointing out are those developer token that holds the huge percentage of the total supply. That's a different story.
3853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Injured and suspended players. Sites to check on: November 17, 2020, 11:49:03 AM
This is a cool list, I was manually searching for the news about team update as well as roster condition before I place bet. Searching news manually is a pain in the ass in my side because I bet multiple times per day and I do this all time. I hope that you can find list for other sports too like basketball, baseball and Esports. I never thought that there is a website that offers this data.

Question: How reliable is the source of this website?
3854  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump has conceded oh wait he’s not!!! on: November 16, 2020, 08:59:10 PM
It's now obvious that Donald Trump has an African root and blood in him. His behaviour is typical of politicians in Africa, a continent where politicians find it difficult accepting defeat in elections. SMH.

It's very hard to accept defeat if its a close fight and you know that you have a chance of winning in case there is some illegal votes occur on state that you lose. Trump won the last election with a strong majority vote so I believe he is still holding on to his loyal supporters. But as we all know, there's no way that he will not win just by accusing that he was being cheated unless he provide proof which is quite hard just.

He is now experiencing what hillary clinton feel when she lose.
3855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETC a disfunctional blockchain? on: November 16, 2020, 03:21:39 PM
Being created as a forked coin but etc created bunch of claim to be a better version of ethereum.
That's hilarious.

FYI, they are not the fork coin. They are the original ETH which Vitalik work with other founder. Vitalik fork the current ETH due to different vision and goals to the founder of ETC. This flaws on ETC blockchain is the main reason why Vitalik and the ETH community debate during DAO hack and they still continue this original like nothing happen.

ETC is garbage blockchain. They are just using there name to hype more crypto holders. Good thing that the exchange itself make there move to finally remove ETC I the crypto market.
3856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Latest Bitcoin Cash Fork Effect on Casascius Coins (or other 'pre-fork' coins) on: November 16, 2020, 02:22:30 AM
I don’t see why they wouldn’t add value. Personally I simply see forks as dividends. I also would only value these forks as to whatever their exact value is at time of sale.

This is right but the problem and risk of buying some physical coin like Casascius is when the holder bought it by the time fork value is too high just like what happened when BCH was around 0.1 to 0.2BTC. We all know that that the value of all physical coins that time adjust based on the fork value. So there is a big loss from them especially if they want to sell it now because BCH price heavily dump.

as of Fri Nov 13 05:12:46 UTC 2020
blocks were not full (block#656695, 656702,.. )
mempools are well within 5MByte

time to consolidate coins or reduce fee paid in your future transactions by converting non segwit coins into full segwit.

It's a good a idea to consolidate on SegWit Address for future transaction, The problem is not all user are using segwit wallet too especially those services. Many user and services are using legacy wallet so in the end, You will still pay same transaction fee for sending BTC to non-SegWit wallet and you will just waste fee for transaction fee.

The fee on legacy wallet is low too, anyone can use this opportunity to directly pay bills in advance or transfer BTC to exchange to convert on coin that has low transaction fee.

Bump on this thread. Philippines really need assistance due to multiple typhoons that hit our country. Our area are heavily flooded and many of my neighborhood houses got wipe out without clothes or money saved. I hope that we can generate funds here to help them for clothes and food on evacuation area. We all know that government can't handle this situation alone. This the first time to experience this kind of typhoon, Luckily on my case, Only trees got damaged due to strong wind because my house is located on high ground.  Cry

3860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential on: November 13, 2020, 04:21:11 AM
It has an average trading volume of 10,000$ so its easy to pump and dump to a 3 digit percentage change. The blame should be put on the team member because they don't put any liquidity to there token or atleast give a incentive plan for token holders to encourage them to buy and hold more. I observe that this coin is listed on shady exchange like P2PB2B and Latoken which we all know that doing wash trading. The team should consider it too rather than wasting money for listing fee on shady exchange that can't bring liquidity on there token.
