3901  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 Predictions For Cryptocurrencies In 2020 on: January 29, 2020, 02:46:15 PM
...
Five different predictions does not make nay sense. I would be happy to know if anyone can predict one correct value of bitcoin.
No one can predict it precisely.

No one can predict the future, that's why no one can know the exact price and how long the top will stay. but what i have learned so far about the bitcoin price is: it will always move, maybe up or maybe down, but the chaos in the market is growing day by day. so, will be impossible to see bitcoin price stable.
3902  Other / Off-topic / Re: Linux VS Windows on: January 29, 2020, 02:07:00 PM
I'm a sysadmin, most of my servers run SLES nowadays. At home, i usually go for bsd, unless i have to start compiling drivers myself (in which case i usually switch to debian). It's not because compiling drivers is impossible, but because once you start compiling drivers, you'll have to manually check for new versions once in a while, and recompile if a new version has been found.

This being said: my employer forces me to use a windows PC for work purposes... So most of my time, my desktop system is windows... I hate it. It's completely bolted down, centrally managed. I can't even install any application without sending the binary to the laptop admin so he can update his filter with the hash of the binary (otherwise the system's filter won't even let me start the application). The security "features" really stop me from doing what i want to do all the time, and even if there's a setting i can change i have to go trough sooooo many configuration screens just to edit something smal.

I'm not even talking about how slow this windows system is, the updates take for ages, rebooting is slow,.... If i update my servers, i just register a new repo with newer binaries, enter "zypper up" and 3 minutes later i have all the new packages. If i reboot, it takes just a few moments from hitting enter on the terminal and being able to ping my server again.

If i had the choice, i'd probably never touch a system with a windows os ever again... But that's just my personal opinion Wink

I know, to compile those drivers could be a pain in the ass, and ones it's done, then you realize you will have to compile them if you want to upgrade the kernel. #Epic

...

I own a similar paranoia when I'm using Windows.
Obliviously Windows is the malicious favorite target, and also the most vulnerable for users that never learnt to protect it.

Most of the famous Linux distro offer a very good experience to the end users, even for not techy peoples. My only issue with Linux is the hardware management, and software compatibility.

That's why I'm using Linux as my main OS, for all kind of things, then Windows only for gaming.
As a paranoid user of Windows, both OS are each on a different computer. Xubuntu on laptop, Windows on desktop.

In my head Windows always been itself a virus  Grin

I was thinking to get another laptop to manage windows and all thing relevant o bitcoin there, and as you say, the windows for games or design jobs.

3904  Other / Off-topic / Linux VS Windows on: January 28, 2020, 10:39:39 PM
I have been a Linux user for the past 16 years and i just move to windows because i need to use some software for my Job.

I am a bit paranoid about windows and trojans, i don't like how windows deal with the users, it makes me feel like i'm idiot each time the system ask me if i really want to do that.

So, let's talk about this, what OS you use, and why it's better for you?

3906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On most altcoins disappearing on: January 28, 2020, 08:48:55 PM
I think lots of Altcoins will disappear because the value will be to low it already happened to a lot of coins and just will continue.
That is why it is really important to only invest in the really important Altcoins that actually add value to the Cryptomarket.

Because I don't think Altcoins will completely dissapear some actually add something new to the Cryptoworld or they work togheter with some of the main Altcoins.
But Bitcoin and Ethereum are definitely the main Crypto's which you should have but time will tell what the other Alts will do.

Some altcoins will die and some others will stay alive, day by day new coins born and die, and you can find the list of those coins in the next link:

https://deadcoins.com/

There you will find Deceased Hack and Scam coins...

Absolutely recommend for who seek the Plinko Gaming  Cheesy
^ Definitely right, for Plinko gaming this is highly recommended. It's true that the Legend is back. Cheesy
I had done played and I wagered 0.0134 BTC that was cool and have fun.

Nevertheless, the chatbox is quite a lack of people chatting there, probably it is a good idea if there's something a promotion there.
Marketing should really be considered when it comes to business. They do currently have signature campaign which is good but we dont know if there were other social media promotions happening out there.
There should be some sort of competition or bonuses so that this comeback wont really come to waste.

Thanks for your feedback guys.

We are making a passive campaign because the site still has some bugs to fix, and until we have solve all the small problems, then we are going big with marketing.

Nice to see you all have fun with the sign-up code, even a lucky user hit x333 for 0.0033 profit. Good game!
3908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving. on: January 28, 2020, 02:40:53 AM
What do you make up of that event?
Holding is the plan for that event.

What do you think It is gonna be its effect in the price.?
I think the price will go up, just like happens on the past halving.

Will you suggest accumulation of bitcoin before the event?
accumulate the bigger amount you can, it will be a nice wave to ride.
3909  Other / Off-topic / Re: This is my 10000th post! on: January 27, 2020, 11:56:00 PM

3910  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie, BTT Rating. on: January 27, 2020, 11:33:23 PM
Hi guys.
I just join this platform not quiet long. Just like to know how btt rate/rank it users. Recently I come across account that's newbie and the same Jr Member, how's that?
My thought was that ranking is directly proportional to the time and Number of quality posts.

To get a better rank you need to focus on 3 things: Posts, Activity and Merits. That's what you need to grow.

Follow the link BitMaxz sends and you will understand what to do to grow fast, but take it easy because to get the max rank could take close to 3 years.
3911  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: dudas on: January 27, 2020, 09:26:22 PM

3912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction dispute on: January 27, 2020, 08:36:42 PM
There's nothing left to explain, unless you want to give the client a crash course on how Bitcoin works.

He can prove the bitcoin is in the address...

Easy as send the transaction ID to the client: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/433b8767afb0efc34252dbca0396ae0f56015a042b784cfd3b91371480ba8aad

If the client insist he didn't get the BTC then he has no clue about Bitcoin.

I'm ready to be addicted again with this game lol

x24 is a great multiplier, so far it has been my best shot and my bigger profit (0.0045btc). Is hard to not become addicted  Tongue

I don't actually know the term of that button, but if you clicked it the ball will increase its speed to fall down to the prize below. The button will make the ball faster to fall to the prize, Sometimes it's quite boring while waiting for the ball to fall especially if the player is only playing on a single ball.

Playing on a multiple balls and waiting for the balls to fall down to the prize is quite enjoyable, especially the sounds that many ball falling makes, My ears really like it. The only thing I am quite bored with is the single ball and the sound it is making.

But overall, It is a quite nice experience though.  Grin

The speed of the ball is based in the bet amount, while bigger the bet then slower is the drop, the speed is part of the suspense while gambling.

3919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Number, Who Own 1 bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 09:45:45 PM
I don't think this means more people is holding 1 bitcoin... The same guy can hold different bitcoin addys with more than 1 btc, and that's a good security practice. Maybe there is more people holding 1 btc, but not as many as the graph shows.
3920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: January 22, 2020, 03:00:50 AM
I think Mexican President Andres' idea of selling the plane by selling tickets would be profitable, Angry  And the winner of the raffle draw can sell the plane at an attractive price any businessman can have the opportunity to make big profits.

The problem is that Andres already tries to sell it to a businessman, even to other countries' presidents, but no one wants to buy it. He tries it to change it for ambulances and hospital equipment with USA, but trump don't like at all the deal. So if it's hard for a president to sell it, how hard it could be to do it for a simple mortal like us :p

The fun part of this is, if he does really make the raffle then the Mexicans will pay 2 times for the plane, one with taxes and the second with a raffle.
