3121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need bitcoin? on: July 22, 2020, 12:29:41 PM
Most people don't need Bitcoin, at least for now, but some do. You mentioned darknet markets, which isn't always a bad thing, but Bitcoin also created opportunities for donations for those who get censored by mainstream payment methods, Bitcoin allows individuals from sanctioned countries to have at least some financial connection with the rest of the world.

Try to make a $1,000,000 bank transfer from London to Japan and see how much the banks charge in fees... now try to do it with bitcoin... it will cost the same than spend only $10, and that's why we need bitcoin.

99.999% of the population will never make a million dollar transaction in their lives.

You are right, there is a low number of people making transactions for that amount, but the same applies to low amounts too. Try to send $10,000 to Japan from UK by bank transfer and see how high those fees are.

Bitcoin isn't a need now, but is a nice tool to avoid bank fees or govs taxes.

...y eso resolvio todo el problema

Gracias

...there is a lot of competition and everyone has to do it very fast because the amount of capital is more or less when it's late we go down a lot.

Maybe there is competition while you see other users placing bets, but is important to mention that other users bets don't affect your next bet result.

If you want to learn more about this there are a couple of provably fair articles in the blog:

I don't understand how yahoo gets those big multipliers, but he knows the right way to Dice. One fact that makes it possible is the fast betting that only Luckybit allows... literally you can place bets as fast as you can click the mouse, that's a really nice feature.

Congrats again Yahoo and keep it up!

@seoincorporation yahoo is an experienced gambler hence I’m not surprised that he got those big numbers, but it’ll be interesting to know if he used any strategies to get those results?. Also I wasn’t aware of the fast dice speed at LB, so how many rolls can a user roll within a minute at LB?.

That's a complex question, as i said before, you can bet as fast as you can click the mouse. Some users use mouse and space bar to bet at the same time and that's even faster. I think in 1 minute you can do more than 1000 bets if you can make all those clicks.
3125  Other / Off-topic / Re: World top class security in bitcoin transactions on: July 22, 2020, 03:00:29 AM
where no third party has a hand and there is no chance of losing money.
I wouldn't go that far though. A lot of people have lost money getting their funds stolen one way or another.
...

I agree a lot of people had lost money in the past with bitcoin son examples of how this happens:

-They lost their private key
-They invest ina ponzi
-They got hacked
-The service where they was holding their coins got hacked or run with the money

It says no registration required, but they send us to a random wallet and ask us to create an account there. Something doesn't look good for me.

Does anyone have a true experience making money on this site? I'm not in the mod to risk my money just to test them.
3127  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] Selling Altcoin Project on: July 22, 2020, 12:13:20 AM
Let's be honest, anyone can make a token like yours with some ETH... And the site can be done for $300. Maybe the complex part I to list the token under the exchanges, but for sure it can be done for less than 1 BTC.

So, what makes you think your project is worth 10BTC?
3128  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malicious email question on: July 22, 2020, 12:09:43 AM
It's totally possible you can redirect with the link to a PHP payload and exploit a browser vulnerability or exploit a system vuln. It's possible with tools like Metasploit. That's why it's really important to have updated software, because in those updates there come vulnerability fixes.

I like bitcoin, a lot. But I don't think that this world needs it. Except if they want to hide something. Prove me wrong.

3132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins joins the bank on: July 21, 2020, 03:57:00 PM
Cryptocurrencies and banks are incompatible things. Absolutely incompatible. You should understand that the philosophy of crypto is completely different from the modern financial system.

They are compatible because they have something in common... Both are a way to handle money, and sometimes we want to hold our cash on cryptos and some times we want it on dlls, if we want the money and not the cryptos banks are the easy way to withdraw.

...
Not only Elon Musk i knew a dozens of big influencers accounts was hacked even also a ride sharing account. Posted similar BTC addresses from every account. Tweet deleted and for the security issues those accounts are temporary disabled. It was great excited offers for 30 min oh no a lot of victims.

And twitter already recognizes their mistake and made a post about it. The vector of the attack was some twitter employers, they got hacked by social engineering and after that all the accounts was vulnerable.

Will be hard to see an attack like this again. For sure they will do something about the security to avoid it.
3135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: July 20, 2020, 08:27:18 PM
ICO is over, IEO is more safer and better, raising funds through ICO can take a whole year but with IEO sold outs happens in seconds to minutes, the only bad area in IEO crowdfunding is if it's happening on a bad exchange with fake volumes and bad reputations like p2pb2b exchange

Promote IEO is not the right way to end with the ICOs scam, at the end is almost the same thing, people still running with the profit away.

So, the only way to stop them is to stop investing in that kind of business.

I would like to recommend a Mexican movie called 'And your mother too.' in spanish 'Y tu mama tambien'

One of the main actors now acts for StarWars, and is fun to see him in his true Mexican Style.

Google policy to review and verify apps before adding them to the store is terrible. They are good only at focusing how much is the client paying for each click.

We can call this a SEO attack.  Tongue
3139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ask]; Start betting on horse racing gambling. on: July 20, 2020, 02:01:49 PM
Once i code the backend of a virtual horse racing game, and was complex for me to understand the game because you can bet in multiple ways, things like bet for the 1st and 2nd on the same bet, or bet on the last horse, as i say, there are multiple ways.

Each horse has it's own odds, some have a better chance based on the past races, so, horses with low chances pay more.
