The two examples are a bit over exaggerated to be honest. There are many cons to the current banking system, but let's stay fair.
I have never experienced in any of the banks where I have accounts that the systems are down, I wasn't able to send a payment, or couldn't withdraw money from the cashier's desk.
This is mostly a " it depends where you're from" thing as far as I know. Especially if you're from the more well-developed countries like the United States, these kinds of problems are probably rare as hell. Where I'm from, I can't even count how many banking service disruptions I've experienced already, and that's just with me having a bank account for more or less 2 years. I'd imagine it would most probably be far worse in poorer countries. Absolutely correct in third world countries like mine banking system are down several times a day. You cannot blindly rely on them. But, congestion in cryptocurrency networks like Bitcoin is also an issue. But, you have other blockchains that can transfer money in a second and also at a cheap fee. Cryptocurrency is the only solution, you cannot deny it. |

I agree with @bryant.coleman that a second division can be formed. This will give more representation to regions that are otherwise not represented in the IPL. Are you telling that they need to start a second division of IPL for more representation  , I have seen domestic tournaments taking place on a regular interval as i made some bets in some of the recently concluded tournaments in the past one year and all the states are represented as far as i know and there were T20 tournaments as well as ODI and since the BCCI is conducted these why would you need a second division IPL team as well as i think it is excessive. Indian domestic cricket is a joke. The national team members hardly ever takes part and there are too many teams (36 for the Ranji Trophy) to have a meaningful competition among them. IPL is at an entirely different level. The best players are taking part in this tournament (including the overseas players). What I am proposing is a second tier franchise T20 league, representing the second tier cities, in order to bridge the gap between IPL and Indian domestic cricket. To an extent you are right, Ranji trophy has become a joke. New players are selected into the main after their performance in IPL. But, creating another second franchise will not help rather it will add to the existing chaos. |

That is a really good idea but, why only Ethereum there are other coins that also have a chance to last long. For example, take the Binance Coin, which is backed by Binance exchange and it can also last longer unless something goes really wrong with its exchange. The only backside of BNB is that it is being promoted by a centralized exchange with a lot of centralized attributes.

Sacking Kohli is not the solution, appointing strong selectors seems right solution to me. If BCCI wants to solve this situation for good (although according to them its not a big issue, or there is virtually no problem in the current system) then everyone/majority of em need to be strong enough to stand against the bullying which Virat does sometimes.
Don't think that it is going to happen anytime soon. Virat Kohli has grown bigger than the team. Even MS Dhoni, at his peak never enjoyed this much dominance. The BCCI could think about taking disciplinary action against Dhoni (in case it was required), but doing so against Kohli is unthinkable. Now Kohli has become so powerful that he give orders to the coach and the coach follows them (rather than the other way around). And also, as long as the team is doing well no one really cares about the other aspects (which includes selection). I beg to differ, Kohli is being treated the same ways as his other counterparts would have been. He has done nothing wrong, favourism was part of Indian cricket for a long time now and he is doing the same. Most people do not like his aggressiveness but for a long time now we have not seen such Indian captains. He has worked very hard to reach the position that he is enjoying now. There are others who might be better than him, but I do not see him being removed from the captaincy until the team fails miserably. |

Interesting thing to notice is they are sending only White ball specialist players as Virat and his test team would be in England hence 2 different team set up (good for work load management as well). Rahul Dravid is also traveling with them. India to tour Sri Lanka in July for six white-ball gamesSo basically BCCI has unofficially divided Indian team into two parts. One a Test side, which will be playing the test world cup in August and the other team which will be playing the Srilanka series in July. This means IPL might happen in June but where?? |

There is nothing wrong with using Google if you know how to use it without compromising privacy. Duckduckgo is a good with privacy but has one of the pathetic search algorithms.
Is google authenticator good? Or still one of the google products that exposes people to scammers and making users to lack privacy?
I do not use authenticator as in for every website but I do not see any issue in using it. I generally prefer OTP mobile verification as I feel it is much safer than using an authenticator. Now, you can say that there can be issues with mobile verification but I have a number exclusive for mobile verification which I am using on a non-smart device. |

It is just our expectations that the situation would improve by October, last year i had the same feeling when everything went downhill and i was expecting the world to be back to normal in a few months and we now almost over one and half years and yet some of the countries are struggling with the second wave of virus and people are dying in the streets.
If the tournament can be conducted in the UAE safely so be it, we need some sort of sporting events to fall back and place some bets and hopefully we will see the World Cup as scheduled.
The reason why UAE is regarded as safe is because they have a vaccination rate of above 50%, and the number of new reported cases are very low. Apart from the UAE, England is another cricket playing nation which has achieved more than 50% vaccination rate. But I don't think that the ECB and the BCCI will be able to reach an amicable revenue sharing agreement between them for the T20 World Cup. The advantage in conducting the tournament in Emirates such as Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi is that there are no taxes in that country. The ICC needs to pay for just logistics and labor costs. BBCI will never agree to schedule IPL in England, I am sure they will go ahead with UAE. Since UAE was able to conduct the last IPL without any issue it will be again easy for them to conduct the rest of IPL this year too. What I do not understand is why BCCI is delaying its decision when it knows it does not have many options available. Are they contemplating the possible cost or is there anything else that is stopping them? |

Since the last tournament was conducted in UAE i think they have three stadium and i do not think they can conduct both these tournaments simultaneously. Both the cricket bodies have to talk to each other and make their decision as they cannot wait for a much longer time as it could affect other tournaments as well which are scheduled earlier, all of these plan if the pandemic situation changes if not we might not see the scheduled matches as well. The UAE is home to more than a dozen cricket stadiums of international standard, and now even the smaller emirates such as Ajman, Al Dhaid and Al Ain are having good stadiums that can host international matches. So even in the case of these tournaments proceeding simultaneously, there is not going to be an issue of stadium availability. And since the spectators are not being allowed, they can stage the matches in smaller stadiums as well (if there is a shortage of facilities). Thanks for enlightening me with details of the available stadium in UAE. I thought that they had only two or three stadiums and was wondering whether it is possible to conduct both the tournament simultaneously. In my opinion, it will be great if both the boards decide to conduct their leftover tournament in UAE. BCCI now also need to decide whether they will be able to conduct the T20 world cup in India or they need to shift it to a new location. The time is ticking fast and nothing has come out from BCCI's end. |

Zimbabwe is just a shadow of their former self two decades ago. Rarely they may become competitive in the ODI or T20 format, but it is too much to expect from them to perform well in the test format. I still don't understand why teams such as Pakistan agrees to play test matches against Zimbabwe. No one really gains from such one sided matches. Apart from Brendan Taylor and Blessing Muzarabani, there are no other players capable of playing in the test format within the Zimbabwe squad.
This is like a warm up test series for Pakistan. They are playing with a week team but it will help them to gain some experience. Pakistani batsman and bowler can increase their skill from this series. Unexpected thing may also happens at this kind of match. But the situation is out of control for Zimbabwe now. After the end of second session of day 2, Pakistani batsman have scored 505 runs till now. Abid Ali scored 215 runs and Nauman Ali is only 7 run away from his first test century. They are trying to make some quick runs now. There would be nothing to surprise if Pakistan win this test by an innings like the previous one. Was going to reply exactly same thing to @Maheshkumar_Hrangkhawl. First they smacked em all over the ground all day long and now bullying the Zimbabwe batsmen with the swing-seam-reverse. Should be fun for Pak's seamers. Just another practices session for Pakistan bowlers. There is nothing left in the match, they are only passing the time it seems for god knows what reason. The match could have been over in just two days but it seems Pakistan players are interested in dragging the match. Since we do not have any other option left we are have to watch this match but it is kind of frustrating. |

Still waiting for the confirmation. From what I heard, the BCCI is still resisting the move, claiming that the situation in India will soon come under control. I am not sure how they reach such a conclusion, since cases are sharply increasing in states such as Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka. The BCCI is behaving not just foolishly, but they are also treating the ICC and other cricket boards with a lot of contempt. BTW, the latest news from IPL is that Tim Seifert has become the first overseas player to test positive for COVID 19. He was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad (which reported multiple positive cases among the players earlier). Seifert will undergo treatment at a private hospital in Chennai. Apart from Seifert, Michael Hussey (the batting coach of Chennai Super Kings) had tested positive previously. Medical experts say it is possible to control the spread only if there is nationwide lockdown for two or three months but until now there is no sign of nationwide complete lockdown, only lockdowns with restrictions on the states where the cases are high so it's more likely the cases will hit spike further if the central government doesn't take timely actions. This means we can't see the remaining of IPL 2021 if BCCI still don't want to move to other country. As I saw in a news, the Indian government is not interested in re-lockdown now, they are looking for another way. Corona infections in India are increasing day by day. Now I don't think there is any other way but to lockdown again. Moreover the rural people of India are not following lockdown and health restrictions. There are many states who are still witnessing a gradual increase in the positivity rate after being in lockdown for more than a month now. Lockdown is not a solution to this issue. Mass scale vaccination can only help Indians and the government is failing in that zone too. They do not have a lot of vaccine in hand and the demand is very high. The government should involve big private companies to upscale the distribution and production of vaccine. |

Their bowlers should roll them over quite easily imo. Given the unpredictability of Pakistan, it looks attractive to make a bet on Zimbabwe. But the problem is with the format. The chance of an upset occurring is very low in test matches, when compared to the shorter formats. For the last 10-15 years, Zimbabwe hasn't produced enough quality talent, to make up for the loss of their white players who have emigrated to countries such as England and Australia. Zimbabwe is just like a patient on ventilator, who is being kept alive in the form of annual funds form the ICC. When the funds from ICC cease to arrive, the cricket in Zimbabwe will die out. I think the cricket in Zimbabwe already died out. In the last 10 years, you will only see Zimbabwe performance going worse with no hope of any change. With no funds, its hard to imagine any emerging cricketing nation to perform well. They need to rebuilt their domestic structure which look impossible for now. Pakistan is in a very strong position now 353/7 is a good score against Zimbabwe. You have to expect the Pakistan team to win this match. Zimbabwe is not that good with Test cricket for an obvious reason and that is they have not played a lot of test cricket with good teams. This match will be an experience for Zimbabwe. |

Sorry but i have to go off-topic here. Terrorist attack can be planned in India by India to get a excuse for a full fledged war. The same thing which was done in 9/11 attacks to get a excuse to go all in against the "Taliban's". Also its high time that we also test our nuclear weapons to see how well they perform. However nature is not allowing any such sort of experiment because covid getting worse in both the countries. Why are talking about war and other non relevant stuff. People are dying in every part of the world because of the pandemic. We had cricket to cope up with the stress. At the moment we do not have anything.
