Did anyone see the advertisement for IPL 2021. Its a masterpiece of marketing which begins with a elderly Sardarji doctor coming out of his car after a hard days work and people dropping flower petals on him. Then they have a voiceover about how COVID-19 has changed our world. How it has increased distances but has brought us closer.
And then comes the amazing team colors and the voiceover about "Fir se aa raha hai"...Ohh, how it warms the heart after such a long winter of desperation. God, I'll miss the audience noise on the telecasts though. The ad just randomly came on my feed somewhere and i just can't find it on Google or youtube now. If anybody comes across it, do share a link

Go to Star sports official Youtube channel and you will be able to see IPL 2020 ads. Here is the link  - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmqfX0S3x0I3uwLkPdpX03w

I did not find the sardarji ad that you are quoting here but found few others uploaded few hours ago.
4703  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your favourite quotes! ~ on: September 05, 2020, 06:11:03 AM
My all-time favorite quote is by Napoleon Hill: “A quitter never wins and a winner never quits.”

There are others too but this one in my opinion fits most of us who are in this forum.
4704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Bitcoin giveaway scams and how can you avoid them on: September 05, 2020, 06:08:27 AM
All these scams are only showing how incompetent these companies are in stopping hacks and scams especially Youtube and twitter. I have been seeing a lot of these scams still active and every day a new one pops up. Either they cannot control their own system or these are all insider jobs.

It is always better to avoid such Giveaways or Airdrops on these platforms.
4705  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with wallet and address distribution needed on: September 05, 2020, 04:37:06 AM
A general introduction which covers the Pros and Cons about Bitcoin would be sufficient. To explain them with an example you can use Bitcoin lightening Network. Wherein you can transfer 1 satoshi from one wallet to another in a second without any fee. The best wallet for LN is Blue wallet and it is available only for mobile devices. You can visit their website here.

Was expecting close game but in favor of OZ  Undecided Sad

Yesterdays game was a spoiler I never expected England to win it. Though it was pretty close and I thought England would not win it yet they did because they have been playing continuously and are in high spirit after winning all of their tournaments.
4707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Going to "DEAD....!" Need Discussion..... on: September 05, 2020, 03:50:14 AM
Bitcoin will be dead if you are a Bitcoin hater it is already dead for you. I guess you might have invested in Bitcoin at the time when it reached its ATH in 2017 or early 2018 and from that date till now you might be holding your coins for it to again reach the same price point.

Venting out your frustration will not make your money come back. Hodling patiently and believing in the project will help you.
4708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Over 8700 Bitcoin ATMS now Installed Globally on: September 05, 2020, 03:38:52 AM
The problem with these ATM's is that they all are located in developed countries like the US or Europe. People in developing or third world countries need this service more than those in the already established economies. It would be great if this ATM company can start providing its service in those countries.

4711  Other / Off-topic / Re: The favorite wrestler or boxer on: September 04, 2020, 03:13:21 PM
 Cool
Boxing is one of my favorite sports to date. Boxing and MMA are sports that I like and bet as I think they can make a difference to this world as you can vent out your frustration.

My favourite boxing player was always Md Ali and the best MMA fighter is Petr Yan.

4713  Economy / Speculation / Re: What affects the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on: September 04, 2020, 02:50:57 PM
Frankly speaking the price of Bitcoin and especially the cryptocurrency market at the moment is controlled by Whales. The Marketcap of the cryptocurrency market is not that much at the moment.

If you compare it with the stock market.

It will take time for the market to evolve, still the market is much stable as compared to what it was in 2017 and before. I am not an analyst but it is a simple math if you know the market.
4714  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Cryptocurrency rates especially BTC Fluctuate so quickly? on: September 04, 2020, 02:47:38 PM
A lot depends on the volume of known exchanges like Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, and others. The cryptocurrency market is relatively new and evolving, with time and more investors coming into the market the volatility will decrease. It all depends on the Marketcap the more it is the less volatile the market will be.
4715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NHCT to be listed on exchange on: September 04, 2020, 02:28:11 PM
NHCT token will listed on several exchange on May 1st. The listing procedure was said to be done early but for some reasons it was postponed.
I have sum 30k+ NHCT token. The current price on DEX is around $0.001, what do you think? Will it be worthy to invest some or sell whatever I have now?

I have always been a fan of health care tokens but surprisingly they have never performed in the market. In the current situation of COVID19 pandemic this token can perform exceptionally well. I am not sure how it will do in the long run? as most projects related to healthcare have either collapsed in the market or are still struggling.
4716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Defi Effect - What makes DeFi not reliable? on: September 04, 2020, 02:14:24 PM
In just 4 days his opinion changed  Grin

Interestingly a lot happened when the market fell yesterday in Defi sphere -

from $4000 to $1 in just few minutes.

Hotdog promised an insane return of up to one million percent.

Can you belive that? They launched and they got dumped in just few minutes.

DeFi is brutal not all DeFi projects can be profitable. If you are new to DeFi and thinking about investing in it then think twice before you invest and DYOR..
4717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 04, 2020, 01:47:38 PM
@JSRAW I had to study the Ranji three tier system to get a better understanding of what you’ll want, and after reading about it I have to agree that it can definitely be implemented by the ICC. However I don’t expect this to be implemented anytime soon, because currently ICC isn’t concerned about Test cricket. Lastly as fans of this game we can only hope, that at some stage ICC will seriously work on reviving Test cricket.

With every passing year, the number of fans who prefer the longer format goes down. T10/T20/ODI are far more popular nowadays and only a few die-hard traditionalists favor the test matches. Another factor that is having an impact on the popularity is the increasing gap between the big 3 teams and the rest. In the shorter format, the weaker teams still have a chance. But in the longer format, the matches are increasingly becoming one-sided.

The problem is time, cricket fans do not have the time nor the patience to sit and watch a game that take 5 days. The shoter the format the lesser the time it will take to finish.

Shorter formats are also the source for excitement in cricket due to their close finish.
4718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 04, 2020, 01:43:49 PM
Waiting for IPL 2020 as well, just another 15 days to go to be played in UAE. We're passing very crucial time, but changing is on the process like CPL matches are airing with very success rate. I'm super excited as IPL 2020 schedule were released.

For this edition, record viewership may be there. But it can have an impact on IPL 2021, which is scheduled for just 4 months after the end of IPL 2020. There is going to be audience fatigue, and the TV viewership may get impacted. I am of the opinion that the ICC could have conducted the T20 World Cup this year, rather than allowing the IPL to proceed.

I doubt the viewership will be impacted in the next IPL. Situation is still the same people are not allowed in the stadium and they still have fear of getting infected of COVID19, most of us are still working from home then how can people not enjoy IPL? I do not think there will be a cure available before the next IPL for COVID19.
4719  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Mining For Newbies on: September 04, 2020, 05:50:45 AM
Mining is pretty risky if you do not have technical knowledge. In my opinion mining of Bitcoin is no more a profitable business considering the investment required and the reward earned. Of course, the competition is also pretty high as big corporates have already invested a lot of money and time in big mining rigs.

4720  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can StableCoin address of a CryptoCurrency exchange be frozen? on: September 04, 2020, 05:45:56 AM
If I understand correctly you are talking about the cold store of exchange. Because when a user makes deposit fund into exchanges then they moved the transaction into their cold store automatically. Technically still author of the stable coin could freeze the address. But I think an exchange will not accept it easily and they would take legal action. I believe before they accept stable coin exchange have to contact the stable coin authority. Otherwise, they shouldn't take such a risk.

I believe authorities can still freeze any exchange wallet if illegal activity is reported regardless on the pertext of investigation. Exchange can dispute or deny the request to freeze any wallet but generally they do not as they do not want to complicate their lives.
