It's definitely game over for BA now even if they do manage to pull out of this. The X1 can't compete with the new U3.

So I'm wondering if SYS was the largest customer of Moolah. If so it'd make sense that they waited for a big payday to run off with someone's funds.

Man I hate these 2 S3's I have that wont mine at 500gh/s.
I put them at 250 and they mine at 470ish, put them at 243 and they mine at 492.

But after a few weeks I stare at them and think, why dont I try 250 again! so I try it and bam 470ish, then I put them back to 243 and they sit at 480 until I start stop cgminer a few times then they go back to 492.
Maybe I should try restarting cgminer with them at 250... in a few weeks...

That's not bad. I've got 2 stuck at 440GH and won't go above 218.5 without killing it's hashes.

Do you get X's? if so did you try and redo the thermal paste on the chips? Arctic MX-4 non conductive is what I used on the upgrade kits which all run at 500 easy.
I'm not going to both repasting these 2 as its only 20gh/s loss

They're from an early batch so I wasn't too worried about it since they weren't guaranteed above that anyway. I do get X's if I overclock them though, just 1 or 2 usually.

I hesitated buying B9 at .58BTC, no way in hell I'd shell out the same amount + shipping for B10. Bitmain needs to offer a fiat option for payment. I'd be more inclined to buy from them if that was the case because then ROI is only dependent on the price of BTC, not the miners ability to mine back the coins you spent on it.

Not my mining rigs, but very impressive, one of the best mining rigs photo I have seen in google images :

The Blockerupter one is great. The light show is great.

That's what I miss most about my BE mini farm. The blinking lights were hypnotic.

is there any thread tracking the delivered X1 and X3 units to customers? this delay is causing massive frustration.

Here ya go,not sure if it'll help though  Wink

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355339.0

thanks but the thread is not updated with the received dates.
That's probably because there are no received dates - n'est-ce pas?

They've also just started the week of holiday that are the Chinese National Day celebrations, so don't expect anything to happen this week or next.

From what I recall they never finished shipping December invoices. I paid late December and received my miners about a month ago. People from November were complaining they hadn't gotten anything yet... I don't think there's any way to tell the progress of their shipping. I'm guessing they're filling all the smaller orders of <5 units to get as many people checked off the list as they can.

3. i've decided to go after Alex himself Smiley so am now starting legal's in the uk against Alex, destino and bbyte. so i'm thinking the court costs are gonna be staggering... but they will be applied back to alex... if im successful Tongue if not i'm eating beans for the next 3 years ROFL.. but i think he needs putting out of action totally.

So long as tangible progress is made, I will throw dollars (Or Bitcoins) into this to assist.

I would also donate to this cause if proof can be provided.

At this point I don't understand why the resellers aren't pursuing BA. They're about to go under because of all this BS and they somehow think they're more protected being based in the US. My only guess is they've been paid under the table by BA to keep quiet and they have to do everything they can to cover that up.
50  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: September 26, 2014, 03:15:54 PM
BA has upgraded their customer post deletion bot; it now scans the thread several times a second looking for customer posts to delete.

Since they can't produce any X3's until they get their CE certification they've got plenty of free time on their hands. It also makes me wonder why they're not producing the X1 en mass to get those orders out while they wait on the X3...
51  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: September 26, 2014, 03:10:41 PM
I believe that we have already informed our customers of this: We are currently waiting for CE to check the X3. Until completed, no shipment can be made.

We would like to ask forum users to stop flooding the thread with obscene messages.

Thank you for your patience.

what about x1's then?
i'm still waiting and many others with me

I like how BA uses the excuse of one miner to not ship the other... It makes no sense as the only thing they have in common is the chip itself and the heatsinks. The backplane, hash board, case and PSU are completely different in the X1 vs the X3 yet they still can't get their X1 orders shipped. Pathetic.
52  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: September 26, 2014, 03:05:30 PM
Ah, my problem S3 has been running 1d 16h and has slowed to 418.15.  Three hours ago it was 418.80.

I have been in an acrimonious email exchange with the reseller.  So, for me to ask him to submit the slow hashing blade for exchange would beg an extended delay.  To request an exchange from Bitmain would probably be met by an instruction to return the slow hashing board to the reseller.

I'm not certain it would be in my interest to return the hashing board.  If Bitmain would accept the board directly what is the estimated turn around time?  What is the estimated shipping from the US?  Answers to these questions would help inform my decision how to proceed.  Thanks.

I had a friend that had to RMA a hash board with Bitmain. It took about 2 weeks from the time he shipped it to the time he got the replacement in hand. Mind you, his was completely dead so it was no loss to him to be without it.

Sooo... who's thrown away their BTC on the S4 already?
54  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow X-1 and X-3 (not modded by Black Arrow) Thread on: September 25, 2014, 04:04:18 PM
Just posting here since it'll likely be deleted on BA's thread.

Posted by Truth_Seeker at ecointalk, thought it would also be good to have here in case BA deletes it (as they are wont to do):

I just sent my report to the HK Police - it took all of 5 minutes. I didn't report to UK Action Fraud because I'm an early customer and wired my money directly to a HK bank. As the BFL smackdown shows, if enough people complain, the authorities have to respond at some point.

If you're a BA victim, you don't have anything to lose anyway, because they are refusing refunds and only slowly ship now-worthless (or even exploding) mining equipment.

Strange that it would disappear.

Normally even after selling out they stay listed for a week or two.

I'm guessing they didn't sell as many as they thought they would.

Where's my compensation?
58  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: September 22, 2014, 08:43:49 PM
Is it  possible to run the s3 with 3G ? simcard + x (simstick , router Switch, Adapter?) + netbook = ?

A router and an internet connection is all that's needed for the S3 to run. However, you'll need to use your laptop to configure the IP address and pool information though.

Minersource has deleted my account from their website. Anyone else ask for their money back one too many times?

Mine was deleted once. I got on with their support and they restored my account. Apparently there was a "DB issue" the stripped a few characters off my email address.
60  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: September 18, 2014, 03:09:40 PM
The facts of the matter are this:

BA has barely shipped anything in nearly a year now.

My Bitmain order I placed Tuesday shipped this morning and I'll have them by Monday.

Even if BA figures out how to build a reliable miner they won't be able to produce it in quantity nor will they ship them out in a timely fashion. They have proven that in spades.
