41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you buy National Lottery tickets with Bitcoin in your country? on: February 16, 2019, 07:03:28 PM
I am just curious to know if you can buy lottery tickets for your own national lottery in your country. I am not referring to all these scam gambling sites with supposed "Provably Fair" lottery systems.

I bought some lottery tickets online and I was only presented with the old traditional payment options and I figured it is time for us to approach these Lottery operators, to ask for a Bitcoin payment option.  Wink

If enough people ask for this, they just might consider giving us that option to pay with bitcoins.  Grin  What payment options do you have for online lottery in your country?

In my country (Italy), you cannot buy official lottery tickets with bitcoin, although there are some gambling sites which also accept cryptos for bets. But in general al the moment the cryptocurrencies are a bit in the shadows due to the long bearish market...
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019? on: February 14, 2019, 11:39:13 PM
What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019?

For no one it is a secret that this year for the ICOs was not the best  Undecided, but what do you think will happen to them by 2019?

Will it improve significantly?

I believe 2019 will be more the year of STO (Security Token Offering) than ICOs. Since they are regulated, they offer more protection to investors. And with the actual negative sentiment in the market, I think it's a strong point.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Gold have a future? on: February 14, 2019, 11:36:46 PM
I'm not a big fan of any of Bitcoin forks. I believe the only and true Bitcoin is just one: the one that was born from Satoshi vision. I won't consider the other ones...
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: February 14, 2019, 11:34:47 PM
I am not surprised if it will be like this, because from the last few years the price of Bitcoin has declined. I hope Bitcoin can survive in the face of a bad situation like this, and I am sure that Bitcoin can survive.

Well, Bitcoin has survived the 2015/2015 crash, so why should this time be different? I am optimistic about a future recovery in prices.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE NEED TO REGULATE ICOs? on: February 14, 2019, 11:11:44 PM
ICO should be regulated and it will be so. STO should be a new type of legit ICOs with many legal requirements and maybe it will be as succeed as ICOs in 2017. I'd like this to be so, but the reality could differ a lot from what we want) In total I think that regulation is a positive thing for maturing of the crypto market.
Have you seen STO? and it seems like you have no point about what STO is. STO must registered on the regulators before you can call it a real STO. Latest STO called Bolton coin was being a scam STO. That means there was no a lot of differences in ico or STO.

This is true, but in my opinion scamming with STOs is maybe a little more difficult than with simple ICOs. Anyway, you cannot be sure 100% even with STOs, but since they must first comply with regulations, there is some more guarantee at least.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop SCAM in the ICO market on: February 14, 2019, 11:07:50 PM
Everything that can help to avoid scams is welcomed in the crypto space right now in my opinion. Too many scams have affected the trust in ICOs in general... So anything that can help to identify good projects is good.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The dump has started for 2019 on: February 14, 2019, 10:33:28 PM
The 2018 y. was a year of depression. Every day we had bad news. But in this year i see almost only positive news. Some big players going to eantry in crypto.
Fidelity, Bakkt, may be ETFs. Biggest Japanese banl going to launch crypto platform too. Seems very huge money coming in crypto in this year.

Yes, I agree. There are many positive news in the crypto space, so, in my opinion, the sentiment of the market cannot stay negative forever. Things are developing, so sooner or later I expect a positive impact.
48  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Consiglio: Ledger Nano S o X on: February 14, 2019, 10:30:02 PM

49  Economy / Economics / Re: CryptoCurrencies around the GLOBE on: February 14, 2019, 10:25:15 PM
What do you think about the popularity of Cryptocurrencies around the world, do you think many people now are aware of this Technology currencies?, how much percentage would you think and how can we expose and spread this? Smiley Smiley

In Europe, at least, the popularity of cryptocurrencies now it is at his minimum. Just a few guys speak about it after more than a year of bearish market. I think we need another bull run before people start to take an interest in cryptos again.
50  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Quadriga CEO death, Is it new scam in crypto on: February 14, 2019, 10:21:05 PM
https://www.investinblockchain.com/is-quadriga-ceo-actually-dead-or-140-million-exit-scam/

Once again it proved that you cannot keep your money in exchange. It is another debate whether the CEO is faking death or he had really died.
I am feeling sorry for the people who lost money.

I too feel sorry for what has happened, but the golden rule for investing in cryptos is being the holder of your private keys. If you keep your money in an Exchange, they have your money, not you. This is yet another episode that proves it... Better leave in Exchanges only the money you need for trading.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Organized crime in bounties... on: February 12, 2019, 03:45:43 PM
Yes, bounties are a problem right now. Too many scams and people that are not getting paid. Now more than ever, we need to pay attention to where we decide to participate and to the project we choose.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: In the future, will fiat currencies be necessary in the world? on: February 12, 2019, 03:43:47 PM
I think fiat will always used, because fiat a currency based on trust people on their government. I dont know how the exactly the future about Fiat, will be still using some papper money or we will upgrade to the next level of fiat.

Yes, I agree. Probably in the future cryptocurrencies will be used in conjunction with fiat money. It's difficult to imagine at the moment a world without fiat money, but you'll never know!
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple vs Bitcoin on: February 10, 2019, 11:35:19 PM
Future ripples grow well as we see in Marketcurrency able to compete with Ethereum coins that have high potential. Maybe a lot of people ignore and think that Bitcoin can't be defeated, yes it's true like that, but little by little Riak starts threatening BItcoin's position in digital money trading, we don't know what will happen in the future.

Yeah, we cannot know what will happen in the future, but to the present moment, there are no serious threats to bitcoin dominance.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: February 10, 2019, 11:33:48 PM
Their reaction was awkward because the rumor surrounding them about crypto market has made them have negative mind towards it and the only thing that can change their mind is a huge spike in price.

The same to me. The reaction of my friends, when I talk to about cryptos, is always negative do the big crush of the market occurred last year... it is very difficult to change people's opinions until the market gives big signs of recovering.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible sending BTC without a transaction fee? on: February 10, 2019, 11:30:05 PM
I would know if it is possible to send BTC without a transaction fee regardless of theoretically or practicall..

I don't think it is possible, because the transaction fees serve to reward the miners' work, in addition to the emission of new bitcoins...
56  Economy / Economics / Re: The Factors of Demand and supply on: February 09, 2019, 09:57:56 PM
When I was in college we were taught that the price of any commodity is determined by the factors of demand and Supply to a large extent.
In your understanding, do you think that the price of bitcoin is determined by the factors of demand and supply?

Personally yes, I believe the crypto market is determined by demand and supply, although I think it's also sometimes manipulated by big whales.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if the bull run refuses to come again? on: February 09, 2019, 09:56:12 PM
Its quite good always to be optimistic and sometimes you think of what's the worst thing that can ever happen with which one prepare well. Considering the rate at which guyz are so expectant. I thought, what if the bull refuses to run? What will guyz do? Huh

I don't think that a possible scenario can be a bearish market forever (it would mean the failure of cryptocurrencies in general). Sooner or later the market will start to recover again, but in the meantime, probably many projects of altcoins will die...
58  Local / Trading, analisi e speculazione / Re: LITECOINNNNNNNN on: February 09, 2019, 09:53:17 PM

Li sto prendendo anch'io.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO Dying ? on: February 08, 2019, 10:38:36 PM
I am Bounty  Hunter and For past one Month  i have notice something which is beyond my thinking .. I have been participating any many bounty  but right what i notice is that  ICO  project is really straggle to reach  soft-cap  whilst STO  are reaching hard cap . Are people forgetting about ICO and Moving Into STO ?

Many people believe STO are going to be the next wave fo the crypto market... Indeed, STO offer many benefits to investors respect to classic ICOs.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to bitcoin? on: February 08, 2019, 10:33:10 PM
what will happen this year, the bitcoin will improve in price until it will continue to rise even though it is still slow to move, but I am sure that this year Bitcoin has experienced a good price increase

How confident are you that bitcoin will increase this year? I have not found a single factor that affects bitcoin will increase this year, instead, I rate bitcoin to be much more stable this year because bitcoin needs time to be trusted by investors

Prices are stable from the beginning of 2019 but I see prices starting to decline with a distance of 1 month from the beginning of this year. Maybe the decrease will occur again slowly.

Many people believe that the bottom is still not being reached by now. I don't know if it is true or not, but I believe we are not very far from it and from the start of a new cycle.
