41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are your holdings ready for this altcoinseason? on: May 03, 2024, 02:05:47 PM
Old ALTCOINs that failed to recover 60% of the previous ATH will not reach a price higher than ATH, which means that they will not increase by more than 40%, so it is better not to invest in them.
If any altcoin can reach ATH, break it, and stabilize, then it will be good as an investment, but it may not achieve a high investment return compared to new tokens. Tokens achieve a high return on investment, but the risks are very high, so try to avoid investing in more than two tokens.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana price predictions and developement? on: May 03, 2024, 01:58:26 PM
Whoever invests in Solana is aiming for profit. Blockchain has proven to have serious problems in the event of high demand, and it can be almost impossible to broadcast your transaction. However, there is still demand, which means that we may see $1,000 over the next year, but $7,000 is extremely exaggerated and may not absolutely reach this price.
43  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some topics to look for when starting trading on: May 02, 2024, 01:43:20 PM
Bitcoin Dominance is useful in trading, but knowing the market direction does not necessarily guarantee profits in trading. If liquidity moves from Bitcoin to altcoin, the challenge remains in knowing which altcoin will attract that liquidity after Bitcoin.
Market sentiment (bearish vs. bullish) is usually irrelevant for trades because traders work on a lower timeframe (minutes) or medium timeframe (hours). Sentiment has far too little effect here to be relevant.

agree, its impact on timeframe (minutes) or average timeframe (hours) will be very limited or even when it does happen it is rare compared to variables that occur on a daily basis.
Trading also needs to develop a general vision of the market, and Bitcoin Dominance may help with this.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stable and invisible preventing the devaluation of government Money on: May 02, 2024, 01:16:47 PM
It is true that the value of the dollar is declining, but it is impossible for the rate of decline to be as rapid as the increase in the price of Bitcoin, as the percentage of Bitcoin market capacity is about 1 trillion compared to the American economy, which is greater than 30 trillion dollars, so Bitcoin cannot affect the dollar. The value of the dollar is contradictory, but the value of Bitcoin is increasing, so the price of Bitcoin has risen sharply over the past 10 years.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: WATCH the Federal Reserve's FOMC meeting May 1, 2024 on: May 02, 2024, 12:38:26 PM
I expected the cuts to begin before June, but it seems that the Fed will be more cautious and we are hearing about three interest rate cuts instead of 6 as expected in the past.
Geopolitical influences may affect the Federal Reserve’s decisions. The world is on a hot plate, and there are elections and the possibility of war that may affect energy prices. The effect of energy prices has a direct effect on inflation.
46  Other / Meta / Re: Why is this topic moved from gambling discussion? on: May 02, 2024, 11:22:18 AM
I see no reason why moderator moved it to off-topic. It neither belongs to off-topic where gamblers will not see it.
It's not about gambling but technical advice, the entire topic does not address gambling or gambling services, but rather live streaming services and tips to avoid losing money from downloading this software.

We know somehow subscription on official platforms to stream live matches can be expensive and many has opt to use other platforms offering really lower fee or entirely free subscription for Live matches.

In my country this is somehow common and one thing I have noticed about such sites is that they are filled with various ads, which is obviously were they get their money.

Now, Jenny Radcliffe, a professional hacker, has claimed the risks of illegally streaming are huge. Here is her statement

If the topic is talking about software to manipulate gambling services or make profits from them, it can fall under gambling, but live broadcasting is part of entertainment, just like Netflix and Apple TV+.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Screener Binance, Coinbase, OKX, Kraken. All charts on 1 tab on: May 02, 2024, 11:11:39 AM
Nice tool, Night mode is good, but I cannot customize or change the chart sizes, or assign Timeframes for each specific chart.
Customizing more technical analyzes would be appropriate, and adding more features to the accounts would be good, especially since you are asking the user to create an account.

Bias is a dangerous thing in the market because it makes you see things from a different perspective, so it is essential advice.
FVG (fair value gap) is an advanced market analysis that a beginner cannot know without technical analysis.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: April 2024 recorded the lowest amount lost to hack. on: May 01, 2024, 02:10:20 PM
The statistics are even greater than that. In another article, it talks about the theft of $60.2 million in April per unit and over $401 million worth of hacks and rug withdrawals in 2024 year-to-date (YTD), but the article also indicates a decrease of 25.1% compared to the previous year.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-hacks-april-fall-67-60-million

Which of these estimates is correct or closest to the truth?
50  Economy / Economics / Re: how important is the asymmetrical distribution on defining btc price? on: May 01, 2024, 01:59:27 PM
This is not considered an asymmetric distribution, as it would be asymmetrical. This means that a small group with little effort generates millions of dollars, and another group with great effort generates little return, which is not true in Bitcoin. If you invest $300,000 in Bitcoin mining, its impact will certainly be greater than those who invested $300,000 in Bitcoin mining. With an investment of $30,000, someone who bought for $90,000 is not the same as someone who bought for $900. Bitcoin's value comes from the fact that it is a unique, limited and there is increasing demand for it.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is you research process for events like bitcoin halving ? on: May 01, 2024, 01:06:52 PM
As a Bitcoin user, bitcoin halving may not affect you, as you do not need to update your wallet or do anything. the effect of halving is economic, and since the effect is economic, studying the basics of technical analysis is the basis for understanding and developing charts, and then sharing what you have learned and reviewing the free analyzes provided by some analysts on X reddit or here.
52  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Explanation of anonymous transactions in Europe on: May 01, 2024, 12:58:49 PM
https://www.dlnews.com/articles/regulation/eu-parliament-passes-anti-money-laundering-bill/
EU will ban mixers and force crypto firms to surveil users in blow to DeFi anonymity
If DeFi services force users to undergo identity verification procedures, how will they continue to be DeFi?
Does this include any exchange service that does not ask depositors for data for transactions less than $10,000, or for all transactions, and does this include Monero ban?
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CZ Sentenced, Your Bitcoin in their Custody on: May 01, 2024, 12:01:52 PM
Binance CEO CZ is not a privacy advocate and took advantage of newbies' ignorance to get them to continue depositing into Binance.
There is no connection between his conviction in the money laundering case and the ban on privacy services. CZ may indeed be guilty and should deserve punishment. 4 months is not enough, but Binance and CZ have fully cooperated with the authorities, and these provisions may send a message to scammers that all crimes are possible if you cooperate with the authorities, and the punishment will be very light.
CZ cooperated and did everything to avoid prison and yet he was imprisoned.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest in Bitcoin because others are investing in Bitcoin on: May 01, 2024, 11:31:35 AM
Do not invest in something that you do not understand anything about, or at least do not have basic knowledge about.
Investing in Bitcoin is good for those who want a stable, long-term investment and do not think about withdrawing their money within the next 6 years. However, for those who want a quick profit and wealth, Bitcoin is not the most suitable investment for that.
55  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinSoloMinerForAllDevice(Including IOS&Android) on: May 01, 2024, 11:25:46 AM
I did not understand the part related to Android and IOS. Bitcoin cannot be mined using mobile devices, so why set-up the code on Android?
mining pool options is Ckpool, what is the point of downloading the code if I can directly use the setting https://solo.ckpool.org/
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small general trading place? [I wouldn’t know as I’m fairly new to this] on: April 28, 2024, 01:03:48 PM
High withdrawal fees will make it difficult to buy Bitcoin or Ethereum with $1, but some altcoins have low buying limits, such as XRP LTC MATIC, where you can buy them with a minimum of $3 or a little less.
The following list is useful  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5218464.0
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miners revenues drop to the lowest in years as Runes fomo fades away on: April 28, 2024, 12:39:43 PM
Mining is still decentralized and you can mine with low electricity and make profits. If miners stay away from mining pools that may have anti-privacy policies, such as those pools that block some addresses, then everyone will be safe.
No one knows what will happen in the future, but if more institutional investors join Bitcoin, they may manage private mining farms, and with the presence of hundreds of these farms, we will ensure decentralization, or that 5 mining pools do not control more than 70% of the hashrate.
If there is no change, I do not think that the mining pools will do anything that harms decentralization, but they may restrict the freedom of individuals to respond to government lists.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum has been stuck around $3200 for quite some time on: April 28, 2024, 12:24:03 PM
I think we have reached the break-even stage, where there is no positive news that pushes the price up, such as Ethereum ETF, low fees, a new update, and there is no news that pushes the price down, with the price of Bitcoin remaining stable. All of these reasons will make the rate of change in the price of Ethereum limited and the movements between 2900 to 3500.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's be honest this one need attention the money and economy on: April 27, 2024, 02:29:00 PM
What scares me is that if Trump back to the presidency and tries to interfere in the independence of the Fed and make decisions in line with the government, then markets around the world will begin to deal with caution with the US dollar, since the Fed has begun to print money according to what the US market needs, without taking into account the impact of these decisions on global markets. Losing trust is more dangerous than offering new loans or printing money.
60  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buy Bitcoin and Sell Junkcoins on: April 27, 2024, 02:08:18 PM
US trend against privacy and the strong campaign against privacy wallets or mixiers, and no one knows what the end of the year will be like if all this activity in the first four months will make privacy an attractive thing, at least in the long term, buying XMR may not be a bad option, at least in the long term. I will buy litecoin for a small amount to use when bitcoin fees are high.
I will buy Ethereum if the Ethereum ETF is approved.

Thus, a better return than investing in Bitcoin alone, and I took into account some cases in which Bitcoin alone may not be the best option.
