781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for a feedback on the new project on: November 01, 2023, 04:22:38 AM

We don't have access to private keys. We simply offer a backup feature that allows users to save their private key in a digital format, either on their phone or on a private cloud service like iCloud/Google Drive. It's up to the user to decide where to store the key. This kind of feature has become standard among wallets these days - Uniswap wallet, Trust Wallet,   Ultimate Wallet,   Spot Wallet and etc. has it too.

Backup private key in a digital format is a bad option, and it is even worse if it is not encrypted and on a private cloud service like iCloud/Google Drive. since the user has access to the private key, why do you not provide seeds that the user can write down on a piece of paper and keep them.

We cannot say here that this thing is more secure than CEX. The platform’s code is still closed source, meaning that you may be able to access the private key, so why not be like Uniswap and have a smart contract that can be controlled from a wallet instead of generating the user’s private key.

Your platform now increases the risks on the user's part without providing additional features. Instead of collecting the advantages of CEX/DEX, you have collected the disadvantages.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HALLOWEEN X on: November 01, 2023, 04:14:09 AM
At times like these, it is best to avoid any token bearing the name Halloween. The season is now holidays and some people, and the Halloween punch is a trend, so scammers create a token and pump the price. You will find that it is an excellent opportunity to make some quick profit, but you will be the one who is being scammed.
We have some tokens in similar seasons and they were all scams, such as the Squid game, which coincided with the end of the series.

How a Squid Game Crypto Scam Got Away With Millions Don't trust the green candles they promise you.
783  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A bad practice that cost a friend everything. on: October 29, 2023, 04:45:39 PM
A friend lost all his Ethereum and tokens two days ago and it came to my attention, this is someone who I shared some tips about crypto wallets with some past months ago, I made sure he generate the new wallet offline and he wrote his recovery seed down, though I was not there with him, we are having the conversation online.

Being Offline by cutting off internet is not clod storage. If you turned off the Internet when you created the wallet and then restarted it and used the wallet normally, you are still at risk. If the hacker gains access to root privileges, he will be able to spend from your wallet.

So I was like how the hell he managed to lost his recovery seed to hackers or scammers, he started swearing that he is damn sure he did nothing wrong, and we meet today, looking into his phone and my mind was on the phone, thinking maybe he rooted the phone or something, then I stumbled on his recovery seed been screenshot, that was when I knew he messed up.

What phone wallet allows you to take a screenshot of seeds? Taking pictures of the seeds or saving them digitally means that there is a weak point that hackers will be able to access if they reach your phone, which will benefit you in this case if you generate an offline wallet.
784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you any of pump groups or Channel ? on: October 29, 2023, 04:27:39 PM
If you join pumping groups, you are supporting scam, and if supporting fraud does not differentiate with you, you may be defrauded because all that motivates these people is profit. These groups are fraud, and every individual tries to make a profit by deceiving others that he will make a profit, and the circle continues. Learn to trade, invest more time in reading the news and listening to analyzes and you will get better profits.

Because 99.9.% of pump group is scam. You are just lucky that you manage to purchase earlier before anyone or else your money will be use as exit liquidity by those who post that pump signal.

they are 99.99999% the times in which you make a profit will not be repeated, but you will often try again and lose your money.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin looking like sleeping gigant in this bull run season on: October 29, 2023, 04:13:32 PM
The privacy enhancements associated with litecoin make the possibility of listing it on more CEXs in the future a problem, but I see it as a good opportunity if privacy increases its value.  can say that this is the main reason for the price not reacting at the present moment or in the current cycle, but things will change dramatically after several years. LTC halving occurred several weeks ago, and we will trade for several months before the price jumps forward. price will change slightly after 4 months.

786  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is Bitspincasino scam? on: October 29, 2023, 03:58:53 PM
I tried to access the site, but it seems that there are restrictions on the country (which is a good indicator because scammers accept all countries), so I cannot know the reason, but you need to read the terms of use.
If there are any restrictions on withdrawal in the terms of use, then you cannot do anything because you have agreed to the conditions, but if there is no condition such as you need to make three bets before withdrawing, then you can contact the support team to find out the reason for such restrictions.

It's a strange request to be forced to use the service for an account

I saw that the site is linked to Bitcoin.com. If they do not respond, try asking Bitcoin.com about them.

Edit:
It's a strange request to be forced to use the service for withdrawal request

787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No Commission Spot Trading With Binance or Other Exchange? on: October 29, 2023, 03:50:03 PM
Any alternative to Binance for commission free trading?
You will always pay fees, if they are not in the form of Spot Trading, they may be in the form of higher withdrawal fees, low liquidity levels, slow execution of orders, or for purchasing a token such as BNB or for hidden fees. Trading platforms are not charitable organizations and to run their business they do not require fees. You can search for the lowest possible fees or try to use several platforms to reduce fees, but do not dream of 0% fees.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk predicts X will replace banks in 2024 - The Verge on: October 28, 2023, 04:30:41 AM
Combining social media accounts and bank accounts is difficult, as you need to deal with the restrictions of financial systems and identity verification procedures, which vary from one country to another, and some users prefer a little privacy due to the restrictions on freedom of opinion and freedoms that these platforms provide.

Facebook tried to do this and failed. If Twitter succeeds, this will ignite competition between these platforms and banks will be greatly harmed, but I do not think he will succeed. Musk is an ambitious man, so let’s see what he will do.
789  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What do people think of Kraken on: October 28, 2023, 04:20:02 AM
Instagram has a rating of 3/5, and some of the famous services have many negative reviews, but Kraken has a long history of work and is unlikely to be a scam, so all these negative reviews are either from people who have no knowledge of the terms of use, or Kraken has actually become more strict with accounts.
You have many options, so if you are skeptical, you do not have to use them. There are many alternatives that have almost the same features as Kraken, and Kraken also shares data with the IRS.
790  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer alert @XiaDefi on Twitter on: October 28, 2023, 04:06:38 AM
A picture of a girl, talking about scam altcoins, replies look like she is a bot and tried to blackmail you before sending the money. These are ideal characteristics for scammers. Why did you trust her?

Post ETH address and other addresses, scammers are lazy and will send this coins to CEXs
I will report some of their tweets as fraud, but I am confident that these accounts have armies of alternative accounts. Report them, and the account may be banned.
791  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken Warns Users: Your Bitcoin Trading Data Is Headed to the IRS on: October 28, 2023, 03:46:17 AM
It is not a war, but you must know that all your data from the moment you send it to CEX is registered and will be sent to legal parties or even to third parties to sell for advertising purposes. Some legislation and laws may stand with you, but the final outcome is that data will be shared, especially with government agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), but the return of data until 2016 makes it necessary for you to download your account data and verify it continuously to ensure that you are paying the correct tax.
792  Other / Meta / Re: There Must be child Board With the Name of "Location" in local boards. on: October 28, 2023, 03:27:29 AM
By creating these threads in chlid board name with location we can held collaboration concerts or events by doing some announcements in these thread like where we want to held any coming event and maybe helpful to announce some important News in the cities thread related to coming events.
These goals are far from the reason for using the forum, as it is a cryptocurrency forum and not a general forum, and Twitter and Facebook are ideal places for such events. I can say that the best alternative to your idea is to create Meetups like this board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=86.0, within which each person can talk about events related to Bitcoin in his area or city. This will be easier to familiarize yourself with Bitcoin and track local events by creating a topic for each city.
793  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Taiwan lawmakers introduces digital asset bill for crypto regulation on: October 28, 2023, 03:16:47 AM
It seems that the proposed digital asset bill is to protect investors more than it is a cryptocurrency project, or are you talking about the amendments that were made to it?

Not restricting professional investors and locally licensed exchanges only requiring separation of business funds and client assets are all indications that they just want to stop random investing in cryptocurrencies and reduce the losses of inexperienced traders who may rush into random investments as some do with FTX or altcoins. What is the definition of Bitcoin in the bill?
794  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Careful scammers and hackers using mail spoofing on: October 27, 2023, 01:00:45 PM
There are many tips and they cannot be limited to three points that I can add
  • Use two-factor authentication with a device that is not and will not be connected to the Internet.
  • Do not post your address publicly.
  • Do not download any application you do not know or visit websites you do not know.
  • I was always skeptical and looked for the source of the email.
  • Use open source security tools. The less software, the better.
795  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Delisted/Inactive Coins from Exchange on: October 27, 2023, 12:31:33 PM
Because listed/delisted depends on trading and financial activity, you pay listing fees and pump liquidity that requires fees, and when you achieve profits, you withdraw all profits, make liquidity zero, and start a new project. Therefore, you find that many projects suddenly have high liquidity, and then all liquidity disappears, and it becomes better to remove it because The presence of active trading or sufficient liquidity.
The number of currencies that are listed for profit is very large.
796  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin swapping with frens on deso while chatting. on: October 27, 2023, 12:06:53 PM
It is no different from any service. You deposit money to them and they give you a number in their database, and when you send a message, you can update your balance, increase or decrease, meaning that all transactions take place outside the chain.
It is not as if it is a second-layer network or transactions are broadcast on the Bitcoin network and require trust in the service, which can block the possibility of withdrawal.
The service is limited because you can only use it with WireMin users and the number of users will be limited compared to Instagram and TikTok.
797  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto News Site Created Recently on: October 27, 2023, 11:53:27 AM
I could access the site just fine when I remove the "www" from the URL. This is what I see.
I succeeded in accessing the site after deleting “www” from the URL, and it worked for me, but I only see the project logo. The site needs updating to work and then provide essential features to be able to compete, especially since there are many sites that provide news, articles, and analyzes and it is difficult to compete with them without enough writers who need funding.

I tried to visit the site on Tor and it also does not work, so there is a problem with the hosting.
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs usdt (Tether) on: October 27, 2023, 11:30:57 AM
USDT is an intermediary solution for those who want to trade and do not want to convert to cash, because sometimes the conversion to cash is slow and takes several days. Therefore, USDT and all stable currencies have emerged as a solution to this problem, and you should think of it as a temporary solution and not a long-term investment or an alternative to the dollar. Bitcoin differs from USDT in its structure and how it works, as USDT is centralized and the company can control and remove the currencies you have with just one click.
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto security tools you need before farming airdrops on: October 27, 2023, 11:14:09 AM
Using the largest amount of altcoins in the hope that there will be an airdrop that will bring you a good income. I liken it to chasing mirages.
The tools mentioned are good, but it is better to use them on a clean computer and not use it for trading or with a wallet or your personal data.
It is better to try to try a limited number of altcoins that you expect to have a future rather than trying to try all, and rely on the development team, technical development and distribution of currencies more than rumors and following the news.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that are good for long hodling in this season. on: October 27, 2023, 10:55:25 AM
Binance is losing more markets and there are many local competitors. It is true that Binance is the best international exchange, but it faces fierce competition in some local regions, which makes it suitable for countries that do not have clear regulatory restrictions, but over time it will lose even its status as the leader of international exchange.
Ethereum is good and you can consider investing in some altcoins as a short-term investment.
