941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto Trading is difficult for you? on: September 24, 2023, 01:43:43 AM
Since your bot is in the Presale Whitelist stage, are there demo versions to test the idea, or at least testnet coin, so that the trader can test whether the options presented are executable ideas or promises?

I am interested in the Hedge/Risk Protocol. What is this protocol and how does it work? Are these percentages chosen by the user or are they automated so that the user cannot modify them?

On which exchange is it supported?
942  Economy / Economics / Re: You can't meet all your needs/desires at once, even if you spend all your salary on: September 23, 2023, 05:02:20 AM
It lies in the lack of planning. If you give a person a million dollars, all he will think about is buying things he does not need and trying to waste this money quickly. Even on luxuries, if the person is not accustomed to them, he does not know the level of luxury he is looking for.
Spending money must be planned, otherwise you are like someone who burns his money, and then you will not achieve happiness, but rather your worries will increase.
943  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Binance, U.S. Affiliate, Changpeng 'CZ' Zhao filed to dismiss a (SEC) lawsuit on: September 23, 2023, 04:58:18 AM
This is a continuation of a long saga
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5439961.80

The American division of the Binance exchange no longer operates; pressure was put on the Binance exchange in many countries, but nevertheless the exchange operates in other countries.
Binance cooperates with all governments and tax authorities. Think about why the US wants to destroy Binance so much?
I did not know that there were ongoing discussions and updates in one topic, I will lock this topic and you can update coindesk.

Nn the first place why did SEC not only sue Binance but included CZ the proprietor himself in the lawsuit??? Thought Binance is an LLC which limits liability and the like and should protect CZ legally 🤔

Binance as an entity or limited liability company is not known or explained. The people and management are the only ones that are famous or appear to the media, so I fear that it is similar to FTX. The market is stable and may be the reason for down prices in 2025.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google Play updates its policies permitting blockchain games and apps on: September 23, 2023, 04:46:21 AM
I hope so.

But I still want them to filter out everything. Some developers may try some shitty games or applications that could lead to users being scammed so if they want to upgrade the permission to this level might as well increase their security too. Because there are so many applications out there one could become a money-making app without any return on investment and this type of problem might ruin their reputation too. If not, then put a warning that it will not be up to them if something goes wrong.
An addition to their feature doesn't always mean a good thing, this will also mean more work for them as they enhance the protection of each user. Sure, it's nice to follow the trend but this will be about spending money so it could be messy if not done right.
If they cannot filter scam wallets or applications that steal user data, how will they filter games that require personal experience to judge whether they are fraudulent or not? On the contrary, it is good for them because when you are defrauded, you cannot ask Google to return the money or any policy to protect your assets.

The level of advertisements is deteriorating suspiciously, and I would not be surprised if you find fraudulent advertisements.
945  Other / Meta / Re: is Politics and Society board turning into a lowkey Off-topic board? on: September 23, 2023, 04:01:15 AM
Good moderation is what turns a board from garbage into a good section, and sometimes an exaggeratedly perfect section, as happened with the mining section, where there were almost zero spam.

Years ago there was talk about choosing a new mod for Politics & Society Who is able and willing to moderate the Politics & Society section? and Flying Hellfish was chosen based on the top 20 reporters in that section over the last 90 days. If you want to solve this problem, keep reporting and you may be chosen as a mod in the future.

Post in this thread if you're interested so I can see other people's comments on you.

Here are the top 20 reporters in that section over the last 90 days:

946  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] FiftyOnePercent TradeBot is malware. ANN is self-Moderated on: September 23, 2023, 03:53:21 AM
Thanks for the warning. I thought that posting the code publicly might be a positive for trust, as the code will be reviewed and of course if there is a problem it will be discovered, but it seems that the scammers are relying on people being lazy and will not check the code.
self-moderated ANNs detected them, but it is better to avoid installing such open source software without searching for who checked the code.
947  Bitcoin / Legal / Binance, U.S. Affiliate, Changpeng 'CZ' Zhao filed to dismiss a (SEC) lawsuit on: September 22, 2023, 09:01:16 AM
Quote
The SEC sued Binance, Zhao and Binance.US in June, alleging they illegally listed unregistered securities in the form of several cryptocurrencies for trading and investment by U.S. investors.

"The SEC recently brought several enforcement actions – including this action – premised on its new position that virtually all crypto assets, and virtually all cryptoasset transactions, are securities," one of the filings said.

The agency was defining the term "investment contract" too broadly, one of the filings said.

Binance, Binance.US and Changpeng Zhao filed to dismiss a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawsuit Thursday, claiming the regulator hadn't "plausibly alleged" various securities-related violations, and that it was seeking to encompass digital assets under its authority despite Congress not explicitly spelling that out in legislation.

https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2023/09/22/binance-us-affiliate-changpeng-cz-zhao-file-to-dismiss-sec-lawsuit/

The recent victories have emboldened those who want to put pressure on the SEC and generated strong arguments for what is known as "major questions doctrine," which could lead Congress to perhaps limit the SEC’s reach, or at least reduce its restrictions.
I believe that if these lawsuits continue and more are successful, the SEC will be less cautious in similar cases such as ETFs
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LAYER 2 projects to HOLD waiting for the next uptrend of the cryptocurrency. on: September 22, 2023, 08:46:05 AM
The L2 bet is based on the fact that gas prices will rise insanely and this will make investors prefer it, but if Ethereum transaction fees continue to be reasonable and the number of transactions being confirmed increases quickly, I do not expect these projects to rise in the coming years.
If you want to reduce losses, invest in Ethereum. If it succeeds and prices continue at low limits and quick confirmations, the price will rise and you will have made profits, and if a problem occurs, L2 prices will rise. Here, all of polygon (MATIC) and Arbitrum (ARB) are two good options.
949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best Bitcoin price tracker website on: September 22, 2023, 08:28:24 AM
Almost all sites are similar, but they differ in the sources of data and how they are analyzed and presented, but if you are looking for a site that contains the largest possible number of cryptocurrencies, or almost all of them, with an attempt to verify the accuracy of the data, then https://www.coingecko.com is the site you are looking for.
If you want more accurate analyzes or strategies, they are available for a few cryptocurrency pairs and here is tradingview.

It is not the best Bitcoin price tracker, but it is the most comprehensive.
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bug or Fat Finger Reason for the Bitcoin’s 87% Drop in 2021 on: September 22, 2023, 08:05:39 AM
I have seen such errors about 3 times, and I remember that such extreme trading values occurred for several seconds, and you will find a few who benefited from them, as I remember a story of a person who bought Bitcoin at a price of 2000 dollars while its price was far from that. Such events do not cause losses. It is a big deal for the platform, which is easy to compensate for, or it could be an opportunity for some to evade paying a tax, but it is a rare occurrence and does not occur in a manner that would cause huge losses to the platform or lead to them being accused of tampering.
951  Economy / Economics / Shipping container prices on: September 22, 2023, 07:41:21 AM
Shipping container prices have been declining since the beginning of the year to return to pre-pandemic levels, and the news says that some containers are being loaded empty, as shipping companies do not want to sail with a small load of containers. Is this a good indicator or does it indicate economic problems or oil and energy prices.

952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Balancer frontend is being attacked on: September 22, 2023, 07:24:40 AM
DNS attack is an age-old method for a scammer to attack their victim. This is not the first time cryptocurrency platforms have been targeted for DNS attacks, certainly due to the nature of how the money is easily involved in the user process of website usage it became a lucrative target. This also reminds us of how not decentralized defi is.

I agree with you that defi is not that decentralized but what happened here was a DNS attack and the smart contract has nothing to do with this topic, if anything indicates limited experience or that some of them tried to exploit this vulnerability.

Each party here will blame the other party and the truth will disappear between them, but it is a sufficient signal to stop using this service.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google Play updates its policies permitting blockchain games and apps on: September 22, 2023, 06:45:49 AM
It is clear that they do not have a problem with NFTs, but rather with gambling, so the policy included many provisions related to clarifying this publicly, but I see that NFTs were a wave and will turn into a natural event like ICOs. It is true that they will continue with us, but they will not be with the same hype that occurred in the past, so I hope we don't see annoying ads.

I am not an expert in such things, but I wonder if these games are famous and what are the most famous ones, or if they are part of games that already exist.
954  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUSD users will be able to convert Busd to other stablecoins until February 2024 on: September 22, 2023, 06:24:44 AM
Currently the BUSD was good coin, the stable coin was listed against the BUSD and USDT.Since the BUSD can be convert to USDT without any loss, the trader can convert their holding BUSD to USDT.So they can buy the stable coin using the BUSD and convert to all the stable coin. The stable coin only give huge return to the trader in long run.Since the BUSD itself the good coin, many traders holding BUSD compared to the ETH,BTC.If the new US government had made the law in favour of cryptocurrency in 2024,the cryptocurrency will rule this world.
I do not think this is a good thing. You have until February 2024 before binance lifts full responsibility for this currency, which is about 5 months, and by then its price may be less than $1. Therefore, if you have any of them, start selling now. The trading pairs for this currency have become much lower. Which means that demand will decrease, and this means it is impossible to maintain the price of one dollar in the future or at any time after February 2024.
955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [AI analysis] BTC Price Stats on: September 22, 2023, 06:08:14 AM
To find candidate similar charts, we have to use AI which calculate similarity degree between two charts.
Charts are digital data, but they are represented in charts to be easier to display. However, computers understand the data and can easily compare it without the need for artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is developed to improve prediction data when the available data is limited or cannot be obtained, and therefore we resort to guessing values, but what you have done does not require artificial intelligence.
956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are new altcoins being too risky? Current market trend on: September 21, 2023, 07:17:57 AM
You are the one who determines the amount of risk you want to be exposed to according to your investment strategy. If you want a low-risk, long-term investment, then investing in Bitcoin is your only option, but some people want to take more risks according to perceptions such as the possibility that the currency will rise due to some event, then trading or investing is for a day to A month, during which when profits are achieved, the capital or capital and profits are withdrawn.
The strategy determines the standard of risk and the rate of exposure to it.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Comparison between the Year vs Criteria of the Airdrops on: September 21, 2023, 07:01:33 AM
Airdrops are a game of chance. It is an unconventional way of marketing, which is that a good service spreads rumors that there is an airdrop. If the market moves, it does that airdrop according to certain conditions. Otherwise, these rumors will remain rumors. Many advertise airdrops are services looking for free promotion. You may be one of the lucky ones who received this free money, but the more people know about airdrops, the more complex the conditions are or the smaller the amount received. there are fewer profits from this method every year, and it is almost impossible to repeat the profits of 2018-2020.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How did Ripple (XRP) become so popular and blow up in price? on: September 21, 2023, 06:54:43 AM
You mentioned the lowest price of the currency and the highest price of the currency, but there is no guarantee that XRP will be able to return to those levels $0.0029438 to $3.84.
It is true that there is a limit to the currency, but since it is centralized, there is nothing preventing them from printing more currencies.

The reason for its high position is that the classification depends on market capacity, which is a useless measure and is not important or does not express whether the cryptocurrency is a good investment or not.

It is good because it provides cheap transactions, instant confirmations, and centralization, it may be a good option for banks and banking systems.

XRP is still popular these days it's because of the SEC case that they've won and that's why it's still in the top list of the market.
I don't think anyone would have noticed the SEC case if its price had not risen or had this market capacity. I think it is closer to Dogecoin, which everyone will be silent when it does not start rising.
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Securing your digital assets on: September 21, 2023, 05:26:37 AM
1. Avoid visiting sites with low trust score and security warnings. These security warnings are usually displayed in your browser.
Avoid visiting any website that you do not trust. Try to reduce the number of websites you visit and always make sure that they are correct and do not give permissions or download programs/applications.

2. Use secure browsers like;
BRAVE which you can get from their official page
    https://brave.com/
BRAVE browser is spammy browser and donot use associated wallet to store cryptocurrencies.

Here are some official pages of some of the most secure and popular wallet softwares
Always check the signatures associated when downloading the program because sometimes the front end may be hacked.
960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What really is affected by hard fork? on: September 21, 2023, 05:18:53 AM
The coin mined will be different, starting from the block height the hard fork occur.
Any block mined after block 500000, the blockchain B will begin its own chain with its own protocol, although having the old blockchain in its history.
The new protocol could include an increase or decrease in coins before the hardfork, such as eCash hardforked at block 661648
Where 1 (BCH) = 1,000,000 eCash (XEC) or manipulating the total number of currencies or canceling mined currencies as happened in March 2013.
The new change can include anything, and the old currencies can be considered invalid but they do this to create some demand for the new currency.
