881  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hal Finney: each coin a value of about $10 million prophecy on: October 08, 2023, 12:06:23 AM
The data differed greatly from 2009, and I believe that the current financial situation is completely different from what was in the past. It was the year that preceded the global financial crisis, and many do not know the direction of the future or expect that this crisis will end quickly.
The price of 10 million is extremely exaggerated and unrealistic. The best we can get is one million after 30 to 50 years.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Starknet Airdrop Speculation on: October 07, 2023, 03:06:01 AM
if I wanted to arrange them, I would choose the following order:

  • Total Volume (Bridge/ swap) as it is important to know the available liquidity and the liquidity is in the hands of the developers, including whether the project is real or whether there is one or several parties who have all the control over the liquidity.
  • Number of transactions(Number of months/weeks/days) It is a second measure to know which spam transactions are, and they are moved to create the illusion that there is activity or actual activity.
  • LP Value

Number of contracts is not important to me.
Starknet ID(Optional) is not important.
Checking the list of developers and whether the project will constitute something new is the most important.
883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC delays decision on spot Bitcoin ETFs as Congress members urge approval on: October 07, 2023, 02:51:48 AM
I do not think that Bitcoin has reached the stage of being dangerous to American society to the point that Congress is trying to fight it with a set of laws. We have a market capacity of about 300 millibars, and in the best case scenario it will be 3 trillion, which is the government’s spending in one year compared to a debt equal to 32 trillion.
884  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitMEX founder projects $750,000 to $1 million #Bitcoin price by 2026 on: October 07, 2023, 02:20:30 AM
Since 2021, I have no longer taken these predictions seriously because they are statements that people circulate due to their strangeness, but they are not based on any logical basis, mathematical analysis, technical analysis or prediction of price movement. They are just statements that appear first because they are controversial, just as many people do by saying strange opinions to stir up controversy and get people talking about them.

If we reach the price of 200 thousand, it will be a miracle, not a million.
885  Economy / Economics / Re: What US can do with its dept? Genuine question. on: October 07, 2023, 02:09:08 AM
The past cannot tell us much. The economic situation has changed dramatically since 1971, and the United States was able to place dollars in the world without a monetary cover. The United States’ debt is paid by all countries that bear the cost of this debt. Unless there is a military change or a world war, it will not survive. Any country that can replace the dollar from the throne of the best currency.
The debt of the United States is increasing because they are trying to always be the best and excel in areas such as military science, cybersecurity, energy security, and new technology in addition to patents.
All countries bear the bill for this research, and they cannot do much because they depend on the dollar.
886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm about to test Monero so should I use gui wallet or light wallet on: October 07, 2023, 01:56:38 AM
After swapping they've been sent to Feather wallet is it impossible to trace the BTC they've been swapped from? That's important to understand because it'll explain if Monero's privacy really works.

They cannot do that. Monero has various methods to enhance privacy, such as Ring signatures.
Does instant exchanges recording swap infos stop at conversion. They'll know it's XMR to the address but after it can they follow it?
No, they cannot, but they will record the deposit address and the amount that was transferred to Monero. If after a while you send the same amount to Instant Exchange to exchange it to Bitcoin again, they will start to look like this address could be affiliated with yours, so try to make the sending amount, for example, $100, not abnormal numbers. Such as 67 or 82 and so on.
887  Economy / Speculation / Re: September didn't follow its bear cycle on: October 06, 2023, 12:11:28 PM
We cannot isolate a specific month of the year and start making assumptions based on similar months in past years, and everyone who tries to promote this is looking for facts that do not exist in this data. A fixed 30-day interval in the chart will not lead you to a correct conclusion, and it is better to read the technical analysis. According to the available conditions and taking into account the support and resistance points.
888  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Alternate to Trading View on: October 06, 2023, 11:50:06 AM
Believe me, you will not find a good alternative that provides the same features and characteristics as Trading View and is completely free. The best you will get is a free alternative that has the same features and characteristics as TradingView. you must take advantage of the free version and develop your skills in it. There are many features available in it, and with time you will achieve a good income from trading and purchasing the paid version with trading profits.
889  Other / Meta / Re: Is Bitcointalk image proxy down / not working? on: October 06, 2023, 11:40:28 AM
Here too, I used Firefox to access the forum and there are no problems displaying images, and the image you mentioned appears in my side.
I expect this to apply to all browsers, there may be problems with Tor, but since no one has reported this it is best to delete the cookies or check settings.
890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Cash without KYC? on: October 06, 2023, 11:22:39 AM
If all of the above options do not work, there is a long option, but it guarantees complete anonymity for you, which is running a store that provides needs that do not exist in your country, such as buying things with Bitcoin and shipping them to your country, selling digital products, or selling gift cards or Google Play cards that you buy with Bitcoin. It is the longer way, but it It generates a database for you through which you can find people who may want to buy Bitcoin directly.
The easiest options are P2P. Ask someone here who has an account in Binance P2P to do the process for you (I do not know if this is compatible with the terms of use. If it is not, I do not recommend it to you).
891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bot on tradingview on: October 06, 2023, 10:52:04 AM
Tradingview and trading bot are both tools, but creativity comes from you. It's like saying, I bought the latest Apple computer and the latest Photoshop program, but you will not become creative in design unless you learn that. You need to learn more about trading, support and resistance, RSI, and moving average, and then you can start trading in Demo and you can trade with your money.
892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Next-GenTrading Platforms: The Ultimate of DEX and CEX on: October 06, 2023, 09:55:25 AM
The user can benefit from the advantages of both and reduce the disadvantages according to his knowledge of trading and the amount of data that he would like to provide, as he should try to reduce this data to the minimum possible.
You can use CEX when you want to withdraw quickly and with high liquidity, with features such as speed of trading, executing orders, and obtaining a fair price in trading, while DEX is good when you are not in a hurry to buy, sell, or transfer cash. CEX can be used as it does not require identity verification, or at least it is tolerant and has good withdrawal limits.
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polygon co-founders say they've gotten rid of C-suite positions on: October 06, 2023, 09:04:05 AM
His words are true, but if the project needs the manager to abolish the position of CEO, Chief Operating Officer, and other executive director positions, then he is centralized, even if he claims so. Therefore, these positions do not affect the decentralization of the project, but rather are a preparation to avoid bearing any obligations or legal responsibilities.
There is a lot of controversy surrounding Polygon so I hope they don't end up being scams.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How has a crypto payment gateway impacted your business growth? on: October 06, 2023, 08:40:02 AM
The impact will vary according to your country, legal regulations, taxes, and the extent of acceptance and adoption of Bitcoin in your area, but in the best places, adoption of Bitcoin does not reach 10%, so this means the possibility that 10% of customers will pay using cryptocurrencies. If that is true, it will not lead to any change. In your business, but it may represent a good long-term investment if you do not sell those currencies.
The percentage of savings from traditional payment methods is not large, so if we assume that you save fees by 10%, it will not have a significant impact.
895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm about to test Monero so should I use gui wallet or light wallet on: October 06, 2023, 08:15:39 AM
Here's a question. I've got BTC in Electrum I send it to instant exchange. I receive XMR in my Feather wallet. Can blockchain analysis companies link my XMR to the BTC. I'd like to know if my XMR's really private or not? Is there any thing else which makes the XMR private if I'll swap them to BTC later.

The weak point of the exchanges is that they record your Bitcoin addresses, and in return they know that you have withdrawn Monero. If you use the same account in the future to convert Monero into Bitcoin, they will know that. If you want to enhance your privacy, manage bisq with Tor and convert Bitcoin to Monero and vice versa.
Monerujo is a good wallet if you want to use your phone.
896  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: French member of cyber group pleads guilty to $6 million in data theft damages on: October 05, 2023, 03:09:56 AM
In short, they did everything they could to benefit financially to the maximum extent from the resources available to them, whether by selling them, blackmailing, trying to obtain money, or mining cryptocurrencies, but in the indictment there is no accusation because they used the devices to mine cryptocurrencies.
27 years is a long time, and when he gets out of prison, he will find that the year has changed completely. If he keeps some cryptocurrencies, it may be a new beginning for him.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polygon welcomes Google Cloud as a validator on: October 05, 2023, 03:01:27 AM
will this have a good impact on matic prices? or is it just good news without a big impact? i hope matic can return to the price of $1 because i still have some matic that i bought and haven't had time to sell for now.

No it will not, I reckon. We are presently in a bear market and bear markets imply that not much inflows will go to the coins in the cryptospace. There might be some, however, it will be not enough to pump in much of these coins to an all time high.
If Google buys Polygon, then it will be positive news, and even if the market is falling, you will find some rise in this pair, but they did not buy, but rather became a validator, and this will not add value to the market, but on the contrary, some may consider it negative news because we are talking about companies with trillions of dollars that will manage one or a group. Of the contract in a token based on proof of stake.
Without buying Polygon it is difficult to view this as a positive sign.
898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Up Move Incoming on: October 05, 2023, 02:50:48 AM
Reaching the $30,000 level is very important before the end of the year. All Moving Averages give a strong buy signal, which means that we will test 31,400 again, but given the state of the economy, the momentum occurring, and the lack of new variables, there is nothing that leads me to believe that there is something different now from what happened in 13 /July, where the price approached 31,500 before returning again to decline.
We are moving away from repeatedly touching the bottom, but it is not a bullish signal yet.

899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying ETH fees? on: October 05, 2023, 02:19:11 AM
If you have a large number of these tokens, which you expect to have a great value in the future, then buying now or in the future will not make a difference, as you will most likely not pay more than $100 Ethereum fees for all your transactions, and if your investment is limited, then buying now will save you a few dollars in the future.
Do not bet on the rise of these symbols, as the market is volatile and these tokens do not follow the pattern of cryptocurrencies with large market capacities.

after all ethereum is among the most recommended altcoin to invest.
If I were in his place, I would consider Ethereum more than those fees, at least the possibility of achieving a higher gain.
900  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: THEYA - new mobile multisig wallet on: October 05, 2023, 02:04:29 AM

I do not know who else private keys can be shared with, but we can understand from this that the private keys may leave the device. I cannot trust what they say, as even the 2 keys out of 3 can be known by a third party.

Quote
With Theya multi-sig, you hold 2 of the 3 keys and have complete control over your wallet. Nobody can deny you access to your Bitcoin, not even Theya.
They appear to be the ones who have the third key, and this means that you may need to provide your data if you lose one of the two keys.
