1021  Other / Meta / Re: Simplified view of bitcointalk. on: September 07, 2023, 07:41:58 AM
I have a relatively large phone screen so I use Landscape Mode mode with forcing the phone to the desktop only mode. This will significantly reduce Zoom in and Zoom Out but keeps the real problem in writing and quoting, you need to read several times, adjust the text and click on Preview so it is difficult to create Long text, if you just want to browse, according to the size of your screen, the Landscape Mode mode will be appropriate.
1022  Economy / Economics / Re: NFT-Ticketing and a tax trick on: September 07, 2023, 07:17:57 AM
Its a tax on profit from selling NFT not a tax on every transaction. If you can prove that you bought it at a higher price and recorded a loss, you will not pay tax on it.

This means that the tax on NFT does not differ much from the taxes on the encrypted acts, so why do I see that there are promotional offers for NFT ticket cards and have attractive opponents, even though they sell them with a tax on profits? I saw an advertisement, buy a NFT card, about the same price as the entry ticket, but it has discounts on some purchases or the ability to enter some places for free or watch offers.

In some countries/states the income tax exceeds 40%, which is not the same as a "soft ban" on working in a corporation.

If the United States imposes a 50% tax on coal mines, it is in one way or another a ban on coal production and the transition to other sources.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unable to restore all the ETH addresses in my Meta Mask on: September 06, 2023, 07:12:52 AM
Make sure that you are synchronizing on the Ethereum blockchain and not on other layers such as BSC or MATIC, and make sure that the wallet is connected to the Internet, the synchronization is correct, and that you clicked on the accounts button and opened accounts.

If this does not work, use https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ to generate the private key for all your addresses and search for the addresses that have a balance. After you find the balance, insert the private key for that address into the MetaMak wallet, generate a new seed and withdraw all your balance to the new wallet..

1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are telegram bots for trade worth it? on: September 06, 2023, 07:08:15 AM
Telegram bots are a cheap solution for anyone who wants to automate his trading or trade between several platforms without taking the trouble of installing a VPS, as you include the API inside the bot and then you can execute orders by typing some words. It is safe if you guarantee that the Telegram application is safe and that the bot is open. The source or one with a high rating to trust it, you can restrict the withdrawal permission so that it is not available through the API, but your account can be abused by purchasing dump coins.

Telegram bots are bad in terms of privacy and data, as your data is shared between several parties, and they are bad for anyone who wants to enhance their privacy. I advise you not to use it for trading due to the difficulty of finding a highly efficient open source bot, but it can be used for crypto news and whale alerts.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Launchpad Tokens on: September 06, 2023, 06:36:46 AM
Not every currency in the down phase means that it is "looking like it's about to break out" and the Binance Launchpad's main goal is to monitor projects before listing them, so there is no guarantee that these currencies will rise unless you hear a lot of news about them or an investor joins them or there is a clear technical development.

HOOK/USDT moved from $2 to 0.79, which seems better than ID/USDTEDU/USDT, but it may not be able to return to 0.6 and 1.5, respectively.
Therefore, HOOK/USDT is better, but you have to follow the news, and whenever news related to one of the Binance Launchpad projects increases, the possibility of it being listed and its price increasing remains possible, although I advise you to stay away from such an investment.

The distribution of tokens and the Fixed-Term APR of 31.54% indicate that it will be a pump and dump coin, and the next rise may be the only one before the price is below $0.2.
1026  Economy / Economics / Re: NFT-Ticketing and a tax trick on: September 06, 2023, 06:18:32 AM

The question is: Is NFT ticketing a thing?
Are there other important tax tricks with NFT's and crypto?
How does it work in other countrys?

I am not an expert in taxes, but when a country decides to impose a 49% tax on each sale, this means a “soft ban,” and trying to circumvent it by not selling the NFT until after a year may not succeed.
The only way is to create a souvenir NFT that represents its value one year from the date of purchase, or to issue rare cards, but the problem here lies in the difficulty of selling them.

NFT market does not have a fixed value, and you can add the tax value to the price, as NFTs are like luxury goods, and whenever they are rare, their price increases, even if it too expensive. But I repeat, if the tax on NFTs in Germany is 49%, this is a “soft ban.”
1027  Economy / Economics / Re: To afford personal education or a property? Where to allocate funds? on: September 06, 2023, 06:04:02 AM
Age is a key player in such choices. If you are under 25 years old, education is very important to you because after a good education and about 6 years of experience, you will find the ideal job and good work. But if you are 35 or 40 years old, even if your university education increases, there are additional living burdens from family burdens or obligations such as marriage and building a family, helping your brothers, and so on.
Sometimes combining education with labor market skills is an option, as you can learn marketing, entrepreneurship, and digital investment while learning more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and investing in them, as it is very likely that the price of Bitcoin will double over the next year, and it is easy to get double the amount if you decide to invest.
1028  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers Claiming To Refund Users affected By the Stake Hack on: September 06, 2023, 05:13:29 AM
How did they manage to get gold checkmarks!? Isn't it for official accounts verified by Twitter?
Everything on Twitter now requires re-verification, and you must verify the link before clicking on it by pausing with the mouse and seeing the extension or copy of the link and making sure that the domain is correct.
Scammers are always fast and depend on the success of a link among a thousand links, so the number of links and the speed of their creation is important to them.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in tokens on the base network on: September 06, 2023, 04:55:05 AM
a new base network has recently appeared, and immediately after the appearance, the first tokens on base grew hundreds of times in a day.  So after a few weeks, is it worth investing now in new tokens on this network or not?
Invest in the native token for that network because if it achieves success and attracts more projects, they will inevitably buy the native token to pay the transfer fees and betting on it is much better than betting on tokens on the base network. If the network succeeds, the price of the native token will increase, and if it fails, then all tokens on the base network will inevitably decrease its value.
any new network does not attract large projects due to the possibility of defects in the network or excessive centralization, so it rarely grows quickly.
1030  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk was down on: September 03, 2023, 06:25:18 AM
I noticed this but it was less than 10 minutes, I checked Show unread posts since last visit. The time difference between OmegaStarScream and Latviand's comment was 7 minutes, bitcointalk was down for less than 7 minutes.

1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, Bitcoin fits in this gap more than others. on: September 03, 2023, 06:16:14 AM

Being decentralized is a part why the government should embrace Bitcoin in the world today, it's the only digital currency that can bring peace if allowed as a means of payment around the country.

Bitcoin cannot bring peace even if it is the world's 1 reserve currency.

Instead the Banks are getting in relations with Chainlink and XRP, something that's built centralized and imagine many countries start using these centralized coins and the same FTX shit happens, how will that go? Not good right?

The opposite is true, Chainlink and XRP are looking for banks to give investors a false sense that their money is safe.
The investors themselves are looking for profit, even if it is from the banks themselves, and if the banks give them an APY of 50%, no one will invest in altcoins.

To me Bitcoin just fits in the gap more than any others, oh but the heart of men anyway.

Bitcoin is an option that enables you to bypass the need to trust a third party to transfer your money and enables you to send money to anyone in the world with very low fees and in much less time than traditional bank transfers.
1032  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mixers service right protections on: September 03, 2023, 06:07:49 AM
If there's a mixer want to survive, they need to comply the regulation and it's already contradict the purpose of mixer.

Question for the privacy/opsec experts here: isn't running a mixer privately and exclusively on the dark web totally possible? ChipMixer almost did it successfully — would it be up and running normally today if the authorities hadn't found out about who the operator(the Thai dude) is? Same thing with SilkRoad.
Investigations indicate that the tracking of ChipMixer began in 2022, and NGUYEN aka chipmixer, made many mistakes that led to  discovery his ID, even though the report said that NGUYEN has a doctorate in cryptography:

One of the mistakes he made was using an iPhone.
Use PayPay and credit card payment

Use Binance KYC
a lot of data that proves that it is impossible not to make a mistake during 6 years that this site was operated. Sometimes one mistake will destroy your privacy, let alone dozens of mistakes, and it is impossible not to make a single mistake.
1033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUSD users will be able to convert Busd to other stablecoins until February 2024 on: September 02, 2023, 08:29:53 AM
when United States started tracking them, I realized that BUSD will not be a good stablecoin investment. It is good that they were given a about 1 year, but I believe that all trading pairs for BUSD will be canceled before 2024, so you will only be able to convert them to USDT.
With this announcement, it is a disclaimer of any responsibility beyond February 2024, which is almost a year since the SEC began investigating Paxos for printing BUSD, so I do not think that BUSD will be de-pegged if its value is less than $1, otherwise it may cause more legal problems for Binance, which is trying to avert the eyes of authorities.
1034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you expect better, but then impulsively jump into things due to FOMO? on: September 02, 2023, 08:09:02 AM
FOMO happens to me when there is a lack of certainty, meaning that I am thinking about several things and I am not sure of the decision I made, or when I do not develop a specific strategy, and both things can be solved easily, as I can place a bot to trade with a strategy, and after that, if a loss occurs, I will not regret it, but as long as I prepare. Thinking about your investment or if you do not have a strategy and plan, FOMO will control your investment decisions, and then you will depend on luck for the success or failure of the plan.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TRY TO STUDY ABOUT BITCOIN AS A BIGINNER BEFORE POST/COMMENT on: September 02, 2023, 07:50:29 AM
Whoever wants to learn must choose learning sources carefully. I respect the efforts made by many to simplify the information, but sometimes you have to research the details of the science to be able to understand.

Bitcoin is a combination of many sciences in economics, cryptography, and decentralization, and these things need to be learned first before you realize. The importance of Bitcoin is, therefore, it is not a quick investment that will make you rich or a way to profit from a home or generate income in the thousands of dollars easily, as is found in some YouTube and Telegram channels.
You can start here https://www.lopp.net/bitcoin-information.html It will help you a lot to get started right.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest AI coins? on: September 02, 2023, 07:19:32 AM
The same theory is used by scammers as a suitable opportunity to sell the illusion. They know that people will try to invest in AI currencies, and they know that people are lazy and do not read the white paper. all fast scam currencies will claim that they are based on artificial intelligence technology, but when you read the white paper, you will not find any mention of all that.

when a cryptocurrencies say they are AI crypto, it will not make it valuable, and currencies that search for new trends without having a base or project idea to start from are useless.
In the best of circumstances, and with the best expectations, it will be suitable for short-term investment for a certain category of speculators, but it will fail as a long-term investment and as an investment for 99% of crypto investors.
1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run within Q4 of 2024? on: September 02, 2023, 07:04:46 AM
According to historical data, each cycle is shorter than the last, and one of the cycles may consist of a sum of two ATH, then a bottom, then a new ATH, and all of this may extend from 6 months to two years. the only consistency is that by Q2 2024 we will be somewhere near $60,000 to  70,000, and during the time that follows that, the average price of Bitcoin will be higher than 69k.
We can predict the bottom easily, but ATH changes according to the factors and it is impossible to know from now.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest into https://nexus.io/ Web4? Or Invest into Web2 Namecoin? on: September 02, 2023, 06:47:54 AM
Should I just Buy Bitcoin but it's a small amount Under $1000 BTC?
https://nexus.io/
https://www.namecoin.org/
For me, namecoin is not a project in which I might invest $1,000. If you have researched and think that they have a future value, then invest between $50 and $150 and invest $600 in Bitcoin and $250 for Ethereum.

nexus.io is a project for a good altcoin, but they have been on the scene for a while, and Sigchain and staking are not those revolutionary ideas. The year 2024 will be different from 2021, and the ideas that made currencies rise in that year will not help in the future.

Why did you limit your options to these two?
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Unlocks One Billion XRP, What will impact on it’s Price? on: September 02, 2023, 06:33:15 AM
Today Ripple unlocked 1 billion Xrp from escrow as part of it's monthly strategy. So it’s Supply has been increased. I think now it’s price will down. So i think it is time to buy Xrp in coming deep. We know some days ago XRP win the case against SEC.
Shouldn't you do the opposite, which is selling? they are able to print 1 billion Xrp from escrow, this means that they can sell it at a good price. It is a price that you may not see soon, and your buying while they are selling as part of its monthly strategy and the decrease in difficulty means that this 1 billion has been pumped into the market, causing the price to decline. they win the case against SEC but price is still low which doesnt make any sense.

As long as they can print more, every increase in price will cause them to print more, but an increase in supply will always equal a lower price.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries where Bitcoin is “banned” on: September 01, 2023, 11:23:48 AM
Remove India please, The ban on crypto is now old school, many people in India are saying there is no more ban on crypto, as for China it's all a game, they are in between banning and unbanning crypto in the country, they will soon lift it I am sure of it.

OP doesn't know the difference between Ban and Limitation. If you google India Crypto Regulations, you just have to pay a tax fee and you can use Cryptocurrency and even hold and create accounts. If it was ban, why would any exchange allow Indian users to create accounts? Complete nonsense to be honest. For Bangladesh, that's true though.

Most Indonesians don't use Bitcoin for payment, at least for local or national transactions. I believe nothing really changed from then, and there's nothing urgent that makes them try to push the narrative that they should be able to pay with Bitcoin. That being said, I do know some people still use Bitcoin to pay internationally or use services like SIM top-ups or game currency payments.

The article is dated 08/25/2022, that is, specifically a year ago, and the regulatory regulations may have differed completely since that date. Also, these laws are based on official reports, which are sometimes different from what happens in reality, or sometimes there is a ban on Bitcoin, but Bitcoin is not defined. Or penalties or establishing a legal regulation that makes all of this possible.

A list of legal restrictions can only be created by specialized individuals who have a presence in all countries on the list.
