401  Economy / Economics / Re: NYCB Crashed by 45% - Yet another Bank Sunk - Bitcoin is the Ultimate Solution on: February 01, 2024, 01:47:12 PM
Bank Crashes are usually the result of wrong financial policies, such as expansion of lending, high-risk investments, or administrative corruption, or as a result of unfortunate events such as the collapse of a specific market, the occurrence of war, or a recession in a specific industry. Therefore, banks collapse and governments intervene to save them, and their assets are privatized and sold in auctions. many Bank failure is the problem because it is a sign of a problem in the economy.

(and everyone's life savings too - yet another reason to buy bitcoin).
In some countries, there is protection for customer funds up to a certain amount, usually between $100,000 and $250,000. if you distribute your money to several banks, you will usually be safe, but with the current inflation, I assume that it is rare for a person to leave liquidity above $100,000 without thinking about Invest it.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How a $112 Million XRP Hack Shook the Crypto World! on: February 01, 2024, 01:36:32 PM
But looks like this does not effect the performance of Ripple now because it stays strong in its position .

Investors do not usually care about future damage, and since the damage currently does not exceed Chris Larsen and clients' funds are safe, XRP will not be affected.
Lol, another proof that XRP is not worth our money. When a co-founder can't keep his coins safe - it means something.

No that does not mean XRP ecosystem is weak. And it can happen with anyone, it does not that mean that the person with whom this happens is a fool.
If he is able to freeze his  hacked assets, he will be able to freeze any asset in the network, which is direct proof of its centrality. Some may not care about it, but when decentralization becomes valuable, XRP will not be at the forefront.
403  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I created BitMan, gifting it to those who have contributed to Bitcoin. on: February 01, 2024, 01:05:00 PM
Some may prefer to have souvenir collectibles, such as physical Bitcoin cards charged with some Bitcoin or some tangible things, and perhaps some may like NFTs, although that will be more difficult. Is there a market for selling these NFTs and are they designed according to demand or is it a unique collection?
What are the criteria for selecting targets? For example, miners are people whose goal is profit, and Bitcoin educators are a general term.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: A course worth studying ? on: February 01, 2024, 12:52:30 PM
Educating people about economics and money is necessary, and there must be courses on money and business for all specializations. Therefore, talking about not studying economics is wrong.
But if we say that studying economics as a university degree is wrong, all university degrees are important, regardless of the job market. It is true that some of them have a low salary scale, but if you love economics, there is nothing wrong with studying it.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance launches Inscription market on: February 01, 2024, 12:24:27 PM

What do you think guys? With the addition of cex including OKX, Kucoin and many other now that Binance added it too will it continue to thrive even though inscriptions doesnt have much utility hence a burden to every network congestion.
It depends on the behavior of users. If these tokens are traded within Binance, it will lead to an increase in their prices, which will lead to an increase in spam, but to a lesser extent because they do not withdraw. However, if users withdraw, the increase in fees will be evident in the coming months.
BRC-20 tokens will continue to make bitcoin has a high fees for many months.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How a $112 Million XRP Hack Shook the Crypto World! on: February 01, 2024, 11:54:34 AM
Larsen, who is one of the richest people in crypto, said that he was able to freeze the affected addresses and notify the exchanges and law enforcement. He also clarified that the hack did not affect Ripple or the XRP Ledger, the decentralized network that powers XRP transactions.

This statement is worse than saying that his personal accounts were hacked and $112 million worth of XRP was stolen. How was he able to freeze the affected addresses? If XRP were decentralized, all he would be able to do is notify the exchanges and law enforcement authorities.

Day after day, XRP proves that it is highly centralized and that its only use is for cheap and secure international transactions at the protocol level. It can be frozen just like in financial systems, but if you are hacked at the individual level, you lose your money, which makes it very bad.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Another war in the Middle East could be dire for the economy on: January 31, 2024, 02:03:41 PM
Oil is no longer a trend in the Middle East, and methods have been invented to extract oil, such as shale oil. There are many countries with abundant oil production, in addition to electric cars and alternative energy solutions. All of these reasons will make a barrel of oil always less than $200, and the inflation resulting from energy prices can be controlled, but its political consequences It is the most dangerous.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask now supporting bitcoin? on: January 31, 2024, 02:00:10 PM
cointelegraph needs someone to review their articles, some of their articles are published without checking their accuracy or by people who have limited knowledge of cryptocurrencies even though we can consider it a site specialized in cryptocurrencies news.
Wrapped BTC is an altcoin and cannot be considered Bitcoin and MetaMask does not support Layer 2 solutions so they do not accept Bitcoin in any form.
409  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there anything else like bitcoin? on: January 31, 2024, 01:40:02 PM
What if I knew Bitcoin around 2010. I would have more fun seeing how much Bitcoin progresses than getting rich. What do you think is going to develop tremendously in the future? Please leave your comments. Maybe someone will get it right?
If I told you to invest $1,000 in buyme token, your investment would become a million dollars after 15 years. Would you do that? Opportunities come and go, but it is difficult to know whether the opportunity is golden or not because the price of Bitcoin has collapsed by more than 80% and some people thought it was a Ponzi scheme.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Revision of High transaction fee in bitcoin. on: January 31, 2024, 01:36:34 PM
It is true that Bitcoin fees are considered a problem for adoption, but it is a problem that has solutions and has been discussed a lot. If your transactions are rare and for large amounts, wait until the fees are reasonable and then broadcast your transactions. However, if you use Bitcoin on an almost daily basis, use the Lightning Network.

411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies with Good utility smart investment for the long haul? on: January 31, 2024, 12:52:27 PM
Cryptocurrency is a description of the use of blockchain in financial aspects and to create centralized/decentralized currencies. Therefore, side uses of cryptocurrencies should not be the basis of investment or the thing that will give the cryptocurrency value.

Blockchain can be used in supply chain management, health care records, voting systems, and cross-border payments, and its use will then be linked to a token or not, but the purpose of the token does not go beyond providing financing for the project, just like stocks.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will still be my choice this year. on: January 31, 2024, 12:14:33 PM
Ethereum is a strong currency and has a good team, but in investing, the larger your market capacity, the more limited the chance for the price to double. Investments of one billion dollars may not move the price, while investing such money in some altcoins may lead the price to explode.
If you want long-term trading, Bitcoin and Ethereum are a suitable choice, but for short-term trading, some altcoins have the opportunity to rise faster.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: seeking good projects on: January 29, 2024, 11:50:58 AM
Welcome to bitcointalk community If we decided to vote for what will happen with most of the altcoin market in 2024, we will not get a short list. altcoins tend to move in the direction of the price of Bitcoin, and bitcoin price may be double by the end of the year, meaning that any cryptocurrency that was at $1 there is a good possibility that it will become at $2 by the end of the year, some may succeed in being above that and the majority may fail, so do not invest in a lot of altcoins.

Make a shortlist of 6 altcoins, the first four of which are based on market capacity, and ask about the last two.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The outcome of merging traditional finance and decentralised finance. on: January 29, 2024, 11:39:35 AM
Decentralized finance needs to be regulated by the government to be effective. Therefore, although the restrictions related to it will not be as stringent as those of banks, it will be in the area of microfinance for the average and in the range of 10k USD, it can be integrated with central finance, but unfortunately, governments may not like the idea of being there. Greater freedom to circulate money, and therefore you may not agree to this financing, especially if the profits and control of the banks begin to decrease, but the integration between them may give better results for everyone looking for financing.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best ETH L2 network? on: January 28, 2024, 01:39:05 PM
Imagine how cheaper it will be to get into an L2 network once ETH developers go full speed ahead with the Danksharding upgrade. It'll cause an upsurge in demand for the cryptocurrency. Exciting times ahead for ETH. I'd suggest you keep buying and holding it for the next "pump". It may never be worth $2.5k ever again. Cheesy
I do not want to raise the ceiling of ambitions, but we heard the same promises of high prices when the transition from POW to POS was made.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it Bitcoin and Lambo? And not Ferrari for example? on: January 27, 2024, 01:41:06 PM
Why always Lambo and Bitcoin?
There are several rumors about the reason, but I think the story goes back to 2014 when a 4chan member bought a Lamborghini with the money he had from Bitcoin. He posted the picture on Reddit and then it became a sign of wealth for everyone who buys Bitcoin.
It cost him about 210 bitcoins at that time. Today it costs you about 6 bitcoins.
417  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: non voip numbers sms verification on: January 27, 2024, 01:29:53 PM
Are you asking about a service that accepts PayPal in a Bitcoin forum?

https://kycnot.me/?type=service They have a list of some SMS services you can use but I doubt there is support for PayPal.
418  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please Help on: January 27, 2024, 12:53:34 PM
https://www.benchmark.co.com/ i cant gain access anymore though

419  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Trading Strategies for Newcomers: Pointers and Suggestions on: January 27, 2024, 11:50:23 AM
You will not get a single answer. The more experience you have in trading, the more detail-oriented you are. For example, fundamental analysis tools such as support, resistance, and Fibonacci points are sufficient for a beginner, but a professional trader uses different Fibonacci scales, more advanced tools, and so on. Therefore, if your goal is long-term trading, you can learn how to predict it easily and in less than a week. However, if it is short-term, it is better to experiment and customize your experience, as it will most likely be unique.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US gov’s planned $118M Bitcoin sale is ‘peanuts’ compared to GBTC on: January 27, 2024, 11:44:26 AM
That's not true at all. Much of the $2+ billion of bitcoin has been sold by Grayscale was not moved backed into other ETFs. I'm sure some of it was, but most of it wasn't.
Was it sold? I did not know that FTX had money in Grayscale. Will the bankruptcy procedure allow selling it?

Most likely these coins will be auctioned off like in the past. They won’t be sold on the open market. The way it works you can tell how much demand there will be based on the bids that are placed.

The sale in auctions takes place outside the market and at prices that are determined in the auction, so it will not affect the price of Bitcoin, especially since we all know that there is an opportunity for the price of Bitcoin to rise during the coming year. Whoever will buy this Bitcoin from the auction will definitely not sell it now, but it will be a reason for dumping the price from ATH in 2025.
