41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance listing can't erase price dump on: June 07, 2020, 03:49:22 PM
The problem isn't with exchange listing. Most time the project team sells these tokens or the tokens allocated to exchanges probably to negotiate the listing gets sold. If these things do not take effect, a top exchange listing announcement should moon a token but that hasn't been in effect of recent.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: June 07, 2020, 03:46:19 PM
Scam these days can take effect due to things outside the aforementioned. A team can be known in real life and yet their project will be scam at the end. Another instance, someone can invest in an ICO having done their research and yet such tokens won't make it to the exchange such instances cannot be attributed to either greed or trust or lack of team information.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: June 06, 2020, 06:14:16 PM
It's possible for such high rewards. I have seen some campaigns giving much higher rewards than you have mentioned. What we should think of is what will be the cost of these tokens when they're distributed to the hunters. A high reward during bounty can be less when distributed.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🧐 Bounty vs Buying likes, views, followers etc on: June 06, 2020, 06:07:23 PM
I would choose the both because they serve their own different functions. One thing about bounty campaign which most people fail to understand is that its a cheaper way of marketing. For you to buy such likes and real followers, it's costlier than using bounty hunters. What I would do as an ICO or IEO project is to get the services of top influencers not the services of hunters.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KCS or kucoin share is better investment on: June 06, 2020, 06:02:50 PM
I think it's a good investment given that Kucoin exchange has reputation, high liquidity and all. Secondly I like the o invest in exchange tokens because just like BNB they have room for growth in the future. But its also risky as any exchange can decide to close up at any time. We've seen such with some exchanges so invest what you can afford to lose.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: June 05, 2020, 02:42:55 PM
An exchange cannot swap your withdrawal address. That's the function of clipboard hack that's been going around of recent. Yes if you tag them with wash trades that's understandable most high exchange does the them. But for the swapping of withdrawal address I'm not up for it. I think that's clipboard hack.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Probit Exchange IEO Based Bounties Should Join ? on: June 05, 2020, 02:40:21 PM
That shouldn't be your reason to join the campaign. What you should consider is the team and project information, their community and development strategies. The bounty you listed is not having an IEO rather the token is to be listed on Probit exchange. I joined the campaign because it looks good to me likewise the allocation and tea handling the campaign.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: June 04, 2020, 03:17:13 PM
Yes you're right about the part of erasing the sayings that hunters are killing projects but new projects will not buy their as an option. If you've noticed, the projects that make payments in stable coins gives very little. Ludena has an allocation of 24 Eth for a campaign of 10 wks. At the cure rate of Eth $234, the allocation is worth a little above $5k. This is too poor a reward for a ten weeks work. Every project should work on stabilising and creating more liquidity for their tokens.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trading on exchanges inside your very own wallet on: June 04, 2020, 03:12:15 PM
Hacks will still occur. As there's a shift to a more enhanced level of security, the hackers are also advancing their skills to bypass the security shift and as such I wish to say that even if there's an exchange functioning like Uniswap and Atomic swap, they will always be hacks on individual wallets. Everyone should learn to stay safe.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giving away too much quantities of tokens in bounties on: June 04, 2020, 03:08:11 PM
No it wouldn't bring about dump. Compare the token supply with the bounty allocations you will be able to make a conclusion. For instance a token with a 100m supply gives away 1m to Bounty hunters, it is a very minute quantity of the token. Take Hex as an example despite the huge allocation to hunters, price has surged after the bounty distribution.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe to join campaign does not mean rewarding campaign on: May 30, 2020, 07:18:14 PM
I agree with you. Here we need to trust ourselves because we're looking for rewards for work done. Most legit tagged projects do not pay hunters at the end of the campaign, while some pay and the token price keeps tanking whereas scam tagged projects does well for everyone. We should do our own research and promote based on our instincts and chances of payment.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: May 29, 2020, 06:31:47 AM
I haven't used Uniswap before now but you should check if they're listed with their smart contract address and not the tokens ticker. About the low volume in second exchange, that's not a good reason to rule off a campaign. Some legit projects have  very low trading volume from time to time. Kindly consider other things such as team information, and project credibility before joining the Campaign.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: May 29, 2020, 06:28:12 AM
What you should consider is
1. What was the reason for such extension?
2. Was the reward increased?
3. Does the reward worth the time allocated to the campaign?
and finally, what attracted you to the campaign. If you like the project, it's best you hang in there and finish up with the campaign.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency & Mobile Gaming on: May 27, 2020, 06:15:07 AM
Found out about a new project today called Ludena Protocol.
From what I've read its an app in Korea currently with 3 million users thats launching globally soon

Basically you play mobile games like COD, PUBG etc and then get rewarded in tokens, in exchange for them collecting your data and then selling it to publishers.

Does something like this even make sense? Most gamers don't care about cryptocurrency in my opinion, but the fact that 3 million users are currently using the platform that can be easily convereted into DAPP users in the backgorund is kind of appealing.

Anyways, I would appreciate everyones input on whether these two industries should even be combined

If this is true of the app, I would advise that people stay away from it because no one really knows what personal data they're collecting. No amount of money can equal ones privacy we should strive to protect our privacy as much as we can.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you trade if you won't leave your coins on exchange on: May 27, 2020, 06:13:02 AM
Easy answer:

Make use of a DEX such as the Blocknet DX platform, which makes you trade on a peer 2 peer network with any person in the world.

You can read more about it here: https://blockdx.com/
Well using Dex is not the solution except you're market trading. If you're not market trading and puts an order waiting to be matched, your tokens are yet on the Dex. Now even when you sell tokens, they're on the Dex until you withdraw it. Truth be told there's no way a traders tokens cannot be on exchange except such trader closes their trades daily and withdraws funds to personal wallet.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto is better then fiat? on: May 26, 2020, 04:48:28 PM
Despite the world be it fiat or crypto, there's always a hierarchy where people at the apex to some extent controls what happens below them. Cryptocurrency is better because of its decentralized nature. Fast payment across the globe as well as no limitations to the numbers of transactions that can be done daily. Every fiat account has a daily limit to their transactions, with cryptocurrency its not so. I will choose cryptocurrency over fiat any day anytime.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miners are happy, while we suffer? on: May 26, 2020, 04:43:30 PM
Not trying to be on the side of the miners here but let us look at it from this direction. These miners pay heavily for the resources needed for mining which spans from mining rigs to electricity. And also let us not forget that mining difficulties is up its only wise to understand things from the side of the miners also and not just think about us the users. With every halving comes a reduction of their mining rewards, they can only make up for their costs through the fees.
A reason that most users tend not to understand the situation. Halving won't be the advantage of miners, instead, that's their losses as the rewards cut into half. And only the fees that they collected is the way to help them out and could still run their business. Maybe it wasn't time to complain, instead, its time to understand the situation.

As I saw this, miners aren't happy with the fees, they only do this just to cover-ups and able to sustain.
Yea you're right. Because given the fees collected, their cost for mining cannot be covered. We'll I do hope we all understand the situation and let live.

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap Changes - Broken the Trust of the Crypto Community? on: May 26, 2020, 03:26:16 PM
The question we should ask is on what basis was Binance ranked number 1. Binance is most preferred by traders, it's the most used exchange by different traders aside being the best choice exchange, Binance has other developments being added to the cryptocurrency sphere in general. Let us not be too quick to give into bias on the ground of CMC being owned by Binance. We should have a thorough investigation of why it was ranked as the number one, what did the exchange do differently to gain the spot.
