41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 31, 2024, 10:31:44 AM
Manchester City may be stronger next season, even though the season is yet to come, because Gurdiola is a very talented coach who has many skills and strategies to win matches. Furthermore, Manchester City have good experienced players that can also deliver well. Although I know that next season will be very competitive, there are many clubs that will come back stronger, especially Chelsea. I see that they have already started gaining their performance back, which means they will do more next season, so the Premier League will be tough next season.

But one thing you said that I can’t really talk about is when you said Manchester City are going to win the Premier League next season again. You know, this is football, anything can happen. The way we are even thinking they may perform next season, perhaps if maybe the other side won’t come back in form, so we can’t really give them any guarantee that they will still make it happen next season because their many clubs are also looking for the title.
Well finance continues to be the biggest powerhouse for any business and talk about football, how will you thrive without adequate finances. With good financial status, you will be able to sign who you want and as such, still maintain your status as the top club. This is the case for Man City as they will still remain dominant in the EPL next season, yes because the club has the financial resources to even add more players to this balanced squad and make it adequately balanced.

And another huge factor is Pep’s tactical acumen, like it can’t be matched in any way as he keeps delivering in top stages and showing class. These alone will still make Man City remain very dominat and obviously it’s Pep’s last season, so you don’t expect him to end his time with bad performance as he will want to leave on a very high note. Well I think yes the competition will be much especially as you can see how fast other clubs are recruiting so as to at least be a strong force to reckon with next season.

One thing we can’t determine yet is who will win but when you check the clubs, Manchester City stands a better chance of winning the league for a 5th time in a row. Well that’s why I love the EPL and can’t wait for the season to start so we witness the very many competitions.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: May 31, 2024, 10:16:44 AM
There is only one way for Dortmund to win the game in my opinion and that is to score at least 2 goals wit the few chances they probably have. Maybe you recall the header of Füllkrug against Atletico Madrid. That goal was insane and he scores that one like 10% of the time. The goal against PSG where he controlled the ball with one touch and then scored immediately is another world class goal that Füllkrug is not really known for. But it is these overperformance that gave Dortmund the advantage against Atletico and PSG. If they miss any of their big chances (if they have any), I doubt they can beat Real Madrid.

But I am not the kind of guy who looks at odds here and says "game over" because the odds were against Dortmund from day 1 in this Champions League season. To not concede a goal in 190 minutes against PSG is a pretty big deal and that is what Dortmund needs: the best defensive performance of the season, even better than against PSG.
Well we still go over this unpredictable nature of football this season especially with the way underdogs keep turning up and bringing uo surprising performances especially in final. This in mind, one cAn say there’s all for Dortmund to play for on Saturday in London when they face Real Madrid. Yes talking about the chance or should I say the tactics Dortmund can emply to be able to sink this Real Madrid side is if they’re able to get 2 goals at least that can to an extent secure them.

Just like how Atalanta and Man United did in their finals too, getting 2 goals put the big team in a state of confusion and they just have to let their defense guard down and go all out to attack. Going forward, you will start imagining what the chances of Dortmund are to score 2 goals, this means they must be very available to take any chance they have. Just like they did against Athletico Madrid and PSG in a run to this stage, they must exhibit such resilience.

They should also not forget Real Madrid are the king of coneback especially in the UCL which they have won a total of 14 and are in a bid for the 15th. Well the match over the weekend will be one interesting one but I’ll be strongly rooting for Real Madrid to get the win and reclaim their stand as European big boys.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: May 31, 2024, 10:07:33 AM
It will not even make sense to see Osimhen playing for PSG, osimhen will not even get any hype like before again, did we know that because of the goals Osimhen scored in Napoli Napoli won the league last season that make the Napoli became well-recognized and also made osimhen well known, although before I know that Napoli is in Serie A league but it will be very difficult for me to even watch their matches because they are not performing well before, PSG should just go for another young striker, there are many strikers players outside that if PSG goes for they will be even better than osimhen, and also lukaku is available for PSG if they want him because Chelsea doesn’t need lukaku again, they want to part ways at the end of the season and no any club have come for him.

The only place that Osimhen will be more popular after Napoli is the premier league, Chelsea needs to striker like Osimhen but I think they are not ready to sign Osimhen at this point, Chelsea still believes in Jackson as a striker but Chelsea should try to get a player like osimhen who is a better goal scorer than Jackson, Chelsea might like osimhen but I think the price will be something that will make Chelsea change Their mind because Napoli will never sell osimhen with a small fee.
Well I will say this is wrong at least your first point of Osimhen not getting the kind of hype he got while at Napoli is false because at PSG, i think with Kylian leaving, the media will want to watch out on how his replacement performs. If Osimhen dishes out a very top notch performance then of course, he will get the hype. Now for PSG wanting Osimhen, I think it’s not a bad choice but for the sake of rebuilding, they can get a younger striker and I think that will fit their style as the player might not be under pressure.

Romelu Lukaku is still a good option as you can call him a team player and plays with the team better in the matches I’ve seen him play. Chelsea are attracted to Osimhen and I wouldn’t be surprised when I see the deal been confirmed soon, I think Osimhen will flourish more in the EPl Than in the Ligue 1 majorly because of the competition there. At Chelsea yes they can be rebuilding but i think him as a complete striker in that team, of course he will be a firing power for the team.

About Napoli’s high fee for the young lad, I think that’s not a problem for Chelsea especially with Napoli already eyeing Lukaku which is Chelsea’s, then a swoop deal and funds can be added to land Osimhen to Chelsea. So let’s just wait and see what the summer window holds for us.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: May 31, 2024, 09:55:06 AM
The fundamental issue is that things have not gone well for the Saudi Pro League as the league gets less attendaces to watch SPL. I assure you that if the Saudi Pro League's expectations are too high through bring so many superstars to the league, it was wasting billions of dollars recruiting new players but the impact is not even happening for a yaer. Take a look at their attendance numbers. they weren't even as high as before Ronaldo joined the league. Saudi must be changing its mind.
The Saudi professional league must have adjusted its approach. I meant wasting money on new players that aren't even working anymore. The club must have different ideas in order to entice more foreign investors to join the Saudi Pro League.

The choice to spend a lot of money to sign a lot of good players from European leagues was the worst thing. Ronaldo was making a significant influence, but this was not sustainable.
Take a look at the current statistics for the Saudi Pro League. It has declined significantly after Nassr introduced Ronaldo to the club.

Well when Ronaldo made the move across Europe to Asian Football, it was really surprising as many though he will be retiring in Europe. Well after conquering Europe, he thought it wise to move to Asia, the Saudi Pro League and when many saw the transfer, they were a lot that thought it will bring the league to much popularity. Well sincerely let’s be truthful, I think Ronaldo’s move to SPL has really brought fame to the league as we now want the big European stars to go and retire in SPL.

Yes the attendance might be pretty low but I think that’s because of how this season went with Al-Hilal maintaining top performance and ending the league unbeaten. Many people want to watch Ronaldo play and if you check the attendance of Al-Nassr matches, you will see how many attendance those matches have. I think most teams in the SPL, don’t have many European stars and as such they’re not able to keep up with the performance level of likes of Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad.

Well I think the body of the league need to try to make sure that all the clubs are given level playing ground when it comes to signing European stars as this will make the competition in the league still top notch. Well so let’s say the league body isn’t capitalizing well on the Ronaldo effect as that’s the problem here and not the high rate fee for signing players.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 31, 2024, 09:41:12 AM
In my opinion it is a pretty controversial choice, but Bayern wasn't actually left with many other options. If I was Kompany, I wouldn't have hesitated and immediately taken the opportunity. It is not about him, but for Bayern I think it is a step back. He should be given a chance of course, but I remember when they decided to sign Kovac as a coach and he failed big time. You can quickly notice when Bayern doesn't have a coach who is a big name. Tuchel is a good coach, but has been lucky a couple of times in his career. They had Heynckes, Ancelotti, Guardiola, van Gaal and some other great names.

It won't be easy for Kompany because he will be asked whether he knows that he was like option number 6 or so. I am still surprised that so many coaches declined the offer. When the name Roger Schmidt from Benfica came up, I thought he could be someone who goes for it, but no. Glasner, quite a nobody and also declined. Nagelsmann declined.

Tuchel made fun of them because I think he never intended to really continue his work there. He gave them hope for a moment to then drop them.

The appointment of Vincent Kompany as Bayern Munich's coach have caused mixed reactions. Munich didn't really have much options to select from. Kompany's selection is seen by some as a step back for the club. The thoughts surrounding his appointment stems from past instances where Bayern struggled under coaches who didn't have the same pedigree as renowned names like Heynckes, Ancelotti, Guardiola, and van Gaal. There are doubts about whether Kompany can fill the shoes of his big named predecessors and lead Bayern to continued success.

Kompany's challenge at Bayern is increased by the fact that he wasn't the first choice for the role, potentially leaving him in a position where he has to prove himself with the doubts about his suitability for the job. The decline of renowned coaches like Nagelsmann and the perceived lack of interest from others like Tuchel may raise eyebrows and lead to questions about Bayern's motive as a coaching destination.

Tuchel's talks about Bayern Munich's coaching situation shows the uncertainty surrounding the club's managerial hunt. Kompany's tenure at Bayern will undoubtedly be closely monitored, with his success or failure potentially impacting views about the club's coaching decisions for seasons to come.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 31, 2024, 09:30:47 AM
If Osimhen wants to play in the UCL, then he must join PSG but the competition will be quite easy for him. Without a doubt, he will always be continuously playing in the UCL as opposed to staying even longer in Napoli considering french league is fully dominated by PSG. No doubt that PSG will always able to qualify for the UCL. The competition in Serie A is even harder than before. Osimhen needs to work even harder to make sure his club to get into the UCL again next season.
Im only doubting whether conte will use him or recruit a new striker to join.

Osimhen has a lower probability of qualifying for UCL because Napoli has consistently performed poorly, he knows that if napoli may be missing UCL spot again. Even though Serie A receives five UCL slots, the reality that the competition in this league is extremely fierce remains unchanged.
Osimhen works extremely hard to improve his performance at all times. I wholeheartedly support his move to the EPL. That will be the ideal venue for him to improve his performance.
It is preferable for him to leave the Serie A and the French League since the EPL will be more difficult for him.

Osimhen's desire to play in the UEFA Champions League is understandable given the opportunity it presents for players to showcase their talent on a global stage. Joining PSG would provide him with a more direct path to consistent UCL participation, as the French league is largely dominated by PSG, ensuring they frequently qualify for the competition. However, while the competition might be perceived as easier in Ligue 1 compared to Serie A, Osimhen's ambition should extend beyond simply participating in the UCL.

He should seek challenges that push him to continually improve as a player. The decision to join PSG should not be on the ease of UCL qualification but also on other factors needed as a player. Even if Osimhen decides to remain at Napoli, the competition in Serie A is fierce, with clubs vying for the coveted UCL spots. Napoli's inconsistency in recent seasons have made securing a UCL spot more challenging, but this should serve as motivation for Osimhen to improve his game and contribute significantly to his team's success.

Transitioning to the English Premier League could provide Osimhen with an ideal environment to work on his skills and adaptiveness as a player. The EPL is renowned for its physicality, intensity, and competitiveness, which could serve as a platform for Osimhen to test himself against some of the best defenders in the world. While the challenges in the EPL persists,  they also present opportunities for growth and development, ultimately grooming Osimhen into a well-rounded and formidable striker on both domestic and European fronts.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 31, 2024, 09:22:36 AM
Although there have been no comments about Antonio Conte deciding to replace Victor Osimhen with Romelu Lukaku, all this speculation is born out of the Belgian's good relationship with the coach. Another reason why this speculation is high is because Napoli will make money from the transfer of the Nigerian and they really need the funds. The new coach will want to overhaul the club which means they will need money to buy new players.

Lukaku has had a good season, but any club that relies on the Italian striker for goals will not get the best. Osimhen had an average season because the team was not organized and he also suffered some injuries. Lukaku cannot be compared with Osimhen if the Nigerian is in a good team. Victor can be relied on as a striker because he is still young and strong, so I don't see any point in comparing the two strikers. It will be a good move to try to convince the Nigerian striker to remain in the club. But it looks like he has made up his mind to leave. Conte can use his connections in Chelsea to secure a money-plus player swap deal so that the Nigerian can move to the English side while the Italian will secure a permanent deal in Napoli.
Rumors surrounding Antonio Conte's likely move to replace Victor Osimhen with Romelu Lukaku at Napoli is caused by some factors, including the strong relationship between Lukaku and Conte and Napoli's financial needs. The transfer of Osimhen could provide needed funds for Napoli, allowing the new coach to work on the squad and bring in players who fit his goal for the team. Conte's desire to fix the club may lead to changes in personnel to generate financial resources for new signings.

Romelu Lukaku has enjoyed a successful season, it's important to note that his style of play may not be suitable for every team. Osimhen's potential should not be disputed based on Lukaku's achievements. Osimhen's season may have been impacted by factors such as injuries and management itself, which could improve with better stability within the squad. As a young and vibrant striker, Osimhen has qualities that make him a valuable asset, especially if given the right environment to excel.

Retaining Osimhen could be a wise move for Napoli, as he has the potential to develop into a top striker with the right support and guidance. There are interests from other clubs which should make Napoli explore ways to talk Osimhen into staying at the club. Using Conte's connections to negotiate favorable deals could be one strategy to retain Osimhen while strengthening the squad in other areas.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: May 31, 2024, 09:14:38 AM
When Xavi Hernandez decided to leave Barcelona at the end of the season, Barcelona fans were confused because they felt that Xavi was the best coach that Barcelona had even though he was in an unstable financial condition and Xavi was also willing to be paid a small salary by Barcelona, all because of his loyalty and wanting to make a contribution. for his former club not only as a player but also as a coach and he proved it by winning his first La Liga title as a coach. Finally, Barcelona tried to persuade Xavi not to leave Barcelona and Xavi agreed to this, perhaps on the condition that he wanted to buy the players the club needed so that he could improve the club's performance, but because of this, Laporta didn't seem to agree and thought that Xavi didn't trust his club.

But I don't think Xavi is wrong, any coach will still recruit the players he needs, even though the club already has quality players and has good performance, even big clubs that already have good players still recruit new players, so what's wrong if Xavi also wants that? Meanwhile, Barcelona wants good results and their expectations are too high, but with their financial situation like this, it looks like they will have difficulty competing, especially if Real Madrid has Mbappe next season. I'm sure Barcelona will not be given the opportunity to be at the top.
Xavi's decision to leave Barcelona, despite his willingness to accept a lower salary and his desire to contribute to the club's success shows that there's a deeper issue within the organization. While his loyalty and desire to make an impact are commendable, it's understandable that he wants to shape the team to his coaching style by bringing in players he knows would be needed for success. It's actually a common act among coaches wanting to put in their style on the team, even if the club already have the quality players.

Barcelona's refusal to meet Xavi's demands maybe due to the finance difficulties. The club's financial situation caused by high wages and transfer fees in recent years, limits their capacity to invest in new players, which in turn affects the team's performance. There may also be a difference between Xavi's expectations and the club's long-term plans, leading to a gap between the coach and management. This leakage can hinder the team's ability to compete at the highest level, especially against rivals like Real Madrid.

Looking ahead, Barcelona faces a big challenge to reclaiming their position at the top of European football. While Xavi's return brought hope to the fans, his departure is going to be a deeper issue plaguing the club. Without an approach to address their financial woes and reconcile differences between coaching staff and management, Barcelona may fall further behind their rivals. Achieving success will require not only financial stability but also a unified vision that aligns the ambitions of the coaching staff with the club's objectives too.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: May 31, 2024, 09:05:26 AM
Yes, they failed to win the Treble winners this season because they had to lose in the final for the first time this season, however, this does not discourage Leverkusen and does not deny the fact that they are the best club in Europe with a long unbeaten record in all competitions, even surpassing elite clubs from other leagues and Xabi Alonso is still at Leverkusen for next season. Hopefully he can still show Leverkusen's best performance like this season and has the opportunity to win the treble winners next season, especially if Leverkusen can win the Champions League title, that is a very proud achievement, but seems impossible.

Because the Champions League is filled with the best elite clubs but Leverkusen can compete with the top clubs, I am very curious about how Leverkusen will perform there with the strategy that Xabi Alonso has, whether he can perform well there and what if this club meets one of the strong candidates. like Real Madrid or Manchester City or they have difficulty keeping up with the game there. The possibility that there will be changes for Leverkusen next season seems impossible if the club is able to survive with an unbeaten record in 2 seasons.
Bayer Leverkusen's ambition to secure a treble was ended by their defeat in the Europa League final, but this setback doesn't disregard their standing as one of Europe's top clubs. Their  unbeaten run in all competitions explains their dominance, outdoing even some of the continent's big teams. Xabi Alonso's leadership has been key in Leverkusen's success, and his commitment to the club says well for their future strides.

Looking ahead to next season, Leverkusen's focus will be on the Champions League, where they aim to face and conquer the best clubs in Europe. While the competition is fierce and features stronger opponents like Real Madrid and Manchester City, Leverkusen has proven they can hold their ground against top teams. Under Alonso's guidance, Leverkusen will sure  approach each match with determination and tactics, hoping to advance continually in the tournament.

Despite the challenges ahead, Leverkusen's consistency and resilience proves that significant changes may not be necessary for the upcoming season. With Alonso at the managers stand and a buoyant squad capable of competing at the highest level, Leverkusen will definitely continue to strive, hoping to realize their aspirations of Champions League glory and complete their status as a powerhouse in European football.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 30, 2024, 06:41:08 PM
I think age is not an obstacle for someone to coach, although indeed the experience possessed by Kompany is very little but I think there is something special about Kompany that did make Bayern Munich interested in signing him, Kompany managed to bring Burnley promotion to the Premier League in the previous season and of course it indicates if he does have the ability that might be an attraction for Munich to sign him even though this season Kompany Unable to prevent Burnley from being relegated , looking at Burnley game this season, in fact, their game is quite good and sometimes often makes their opponents difficult to win, but indeed the low quality of players possessed by Burnley certainly makes Kompany and Burnley unable to do much to win every game they have this season.

If we compare Alonso and Kompany, it seems that Kompany has more experience in coaching regardless of the achievements of two different coach this season, next season will certainly be Kompany first season coaching a big team and I think maybe he will be able to make a difference in Munich next season, becaus Munich is filled with many star players different to the Burnley he previously coached.
Alonso, who was able to lead Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga this season, seems to be a trend that makes European club clubs now start targeting  young coaches to recruit, including Bayern Munich.
Age indeed isn't a sole determinant of coaching ability, as seen in Vincent Kompany's case. Despite his young age and limited coaching experience, Kompany's tenure at Burnley, where he successfully secured promotion to the Premier League, caught the attention of Bayern Munich. The fact that Kompany managed to elevate Burnley's performance despite their relegation speaks well of his potential. While Burnley's relegation this season may overshadow Kompany's achievements, his ability to make the team competitive with limited resources speaks more about his coaching abilities.

Comparing Kompany to Xabi Alonso, who led Bayer Leverkusen to Bundesliga glory in his first season as a coach, showcases the growing trend of European clubs seeking out young coaches. Regardless of their differing achievements this season, both coaches represent a shift in the coaching landscape, where clubs are willing to take calculated risks on young talent. Kompany's upcoming debut season with a top club like Bayern Munich gives a significant opportunity for him to display his coaching abilities on a high stage, especially given the caliber of players at his disposal.

As Bayern Munich seek to maintain their competitive nature in European football, their decision to appoint Kompany signifies a willingness to embrace fresh and innovative coaching approaches. Kompany's blend of experience as a former elite player and his budding coaching career puts him as an intriguing prospect for Bayern. While there are imminent challenges in transitioning from coaching a smaller club to a European powerhouse like Bayern, Kompany's appointment reflects a trend in football where clubs seek coaches who can manage technicality with a different view, regardless of age or coaching level.

He is not only under 23 years old but not even 17 years old because in a few months he will be exactly 17 years old, a very young age and not many players can get a place in the main team because usually, they will only be in the under team.
His future is very bright at Barcelona because when Xavi Hernandez was coach Lamine Yamal played quite often so he will get good experience, if Hansi Flick can continue to develop this player well because we often see how players who don't match the characteristics of the new coach at the club become stuck his appearance then he should be a Barcelona star and that is a club asset, and Barcelona will keep this player maybe he will only play at Barcelona, hopefully, he doesn't waste his career because many good players only last a short time and are forgotten because they don't develop well.
PSG in a bid to replace Mbappé  set to raid Barcelona who are in need for money with some tempting offer for their winderkid, 16 year old Yamal. The offer of over 200m euro prepared by PSG is real mouth watering and very tempting especially to Barcelona who’re currently broke. Yes this deal will sure destroy the transfer market and make the valuation of players sly rocket again and we know that this isn’t good for football as clubs will now over price their players who won’t be able to even offer anything.

Yes the price is quite high even though we know yes, he’s got the quality and can be a good replacement for Mbappe. Also for Cancelo, he's a good player and he's performed very well for his teams. He was a good impact to City before he left on loan to Barcelona. Well, it's a good thing that Barcelona enjoyed him for the time being and if I'm to suggest, it'll only be right that they retain him in the team as he's going to be advantageous to them. Barcelona technically actually needs him there more than him at City. They're in financial debts no doubt but they have to make do with every situation they've found themselves.

Man City don't really have a need for him now as they've got the rightful replacement for him. The Spanish side just should strive to make him join the team even with the littlest funds available. Sale of Yamal can be an effect to them generating the finance too but it'll mean loosing a good player too. These two players are good and would definitely blend each other but the management just have to be careful in their decisions as it'll definitely affect the start up phase for the next season encounters.

After a long struggle to win the Scudetto, finally Napoli's dream of getting the Scudetto again came true in 2023 then when Spalletti coached, Spalletti resignation from the Napoli coach was of course a very controversial thing at that time because he stepped down after Napoli be championship, bad relations with de Laurentiis was one of the reasons Spalletti withdrew from the Napoli squad,  De Laurentiis, who is the owner of Napoli, often clashes with coaches and club players so that indeed often coaches and players choose to leave Napoli, the destruction of Napoli, of course, we can say the effect of Spalletti departure and even 3 changes of coaches that occur in one season are not able to lift Napoli current performance.

Currently it is reported that Conte will soon become Napoli coach and maybe in the near future we will hear Napoli management to inaugurate Conte as a new coach, so far Conte ability to coach certainly cannot be doubted because of his many experience in coaching big teams, Conte reportedly will receive a salary of 9 million euros and if it is true of course will make Conte the highest paid coach in Serie A next season,  So far maybe with Conte arrival at Napoli certainly makes Osimhen want to stay, because he knows that Conte might be able to lift Napoli form again next season.
Napoli's victory in the Scudetto final clash under Spalletti as their boss was indeed a long-awaited dream come true for the club and its fans. However, the resignation of Spalletti following this success due to unhealthy relations with the club owner De Laurentiis caused a few controversies.  De Laurentiis is known for clashing with coaches and players, leading to frequent instability within the team. Spalletti's departure, coupled with subsequent coaching changes within a single season, undoubtedly impacted Napoli's performance negatively, contributing to the team's current struggles.

With reports suggesting Antonio Conte's appointment as Napoli's new coach, there's an anticipation among fans and players. Conte's record and experience coaching top teams speak a lot about his capabilities. The prospective arrival of Conte brings hope for an improvement in Napoli's form,  stabilizing the team and reigniting their competitive nature. The salary offered to Conte makes him the highest-paid coach in Serie A, shows the team's commitment to securing top talent and investing in their success.

Conte's presence could also play a crucial role in retaining Osimhen, who may see the opportunity to work under a great coach as a reason to stay at Napoli. The potential for Conte to elevate the team's performance and restore their competitiveness may create confidence and zeal in the players, giving them a renewed sense of ambition within the squad. As Napoli prepares for a new phase under the prospective boss, there's high hopes that he could mark the beginning of a promising era for the club.

Yes, it's quite true that romelu lukaku is not an upgrade to victor osimhen, but he is actually a reliable replacement if eventually victor osimhen leaves Napoli during this summer transfer window, though and no a fan of this decision of victor osimhen being sold, because I believe that he has what it takes to improve any team in the world, but if this news of of him wanting to moving out the club is correct, then I believe that a reliable replacement is around the corner in Romelu lukaku, but as long as it's Antonio conte that is in charge of this Napoli team, I am very much confident that they wouldn't struggle next season, because he is a top level coach and he has proven himself capable of improving any team he has managed, so I believe that Napoli will be definitely be ok next season.

And as for wan bissaka, I think it's not a good idea for Manchester united to sell him off, he is one of those players that is actually trustworthy, though he is not that attacking fullback that they wanted, but he is very good in defending his goal post, so I suggest that they let him stay, because they will definitely need his marking ability during the cause of next season.
There's a contemplation on the potential departure of Victor Osimhen from Napoli and the prospect of Romelu Lukaku as a replacement. While Lukaku may not offer a direct upgrade, his proven goal-scoring record could provide a reliable option if Osimhen departs. However, the reluctance to see Osimhen leave speaks to his potential and the impact he could have on any team. If he does leave, Napoli's fortunes might still be secured under Antonio Conte's leadership. Conte's record of successes and ability to enhance team performance suggests Napoli could maintain competitiveness even with a change in the squad.

Regarding Wan Bissaka and Manchester United, assessment acknowledges his defensive skills while showing concerns about his attacking contribution. While he may not fit the role of an attacking fullback, his defensive reliability shouldn't be underestimated. Retaining him can keep stability at the back, especially considering the defensive challenges United have faced in recent seasons. In a league as competitive as the Premier League, it's essential to have a dependable defender like Wan Bissaka, especially in tough matches where defensiveness is greatly needed.

In summary, the potential movements of Osimhen and Wan Bissaka is a key decision for their respective clubs. Lukaku could offer a solution for Napoli in the event of Osimhen's departure, his exit would still be a loss given his potential. However, with Conte as the manager, Napoli's ability to adapt shouldn't be discounted. Also retaining Wan Bissaka could provide Manchester United with defense stability regardless of his limitations in attack. Generally, the decisions made in the transfer market will impact these clubs in the upcoming season.

This was due to Gasperini's foresight in managing the scheme of things.
We can see the smart move Gasperini made in the final match where Xabi who implemented a man to man marking scheme with a high level of press was actually used as an advantage by Gasperini who did a long pass as his main strategy.  As a result, some long passes and direct passes on quick counter-attacks were an advantage for Atalanta who made the difference and the score was quite striking in the final match.

In addition, after falling behind by 2 goals Leverkusen actually increased the intensity of the attack so that this actually became a good momentum for Atalanta in playing more defensively and relying on counterattacks so that in this case in my opinion Leverkusen did not not play like in the final but they actually lost before fighting because Xabi'strategy could all be read by Gasperini who could indeed counter it well.

The disappointment of losing the Europa League final and ending their unbeaten record in such a manner is unpleasant for Leverkusen.  Not being able to grab the UEL trophy and at thesame time conceding three goals without a goal in return only makes the talk of the defeat wild.  The final goal to conclude the loss scored in the dire minute of the game and at a crucial time of the season for Leverkusen only increases the level of disappointment and will be a definite reoccurrence in the mind of the team as a whole.

Despite the huge loss, Leverkusen's overall season performance remains remarkable. Even having failed in the final, their achievements throughout the season shouldn't be looked away. However, the game of two nights ago gives them the importance of addressing weaknesses and staying vigilant, as other teams will undoubtedly take note of Atalanta's successful tactics and seek to exploit Leverkusen's vulnerabilities in future encounters. This loss serves as a learning experience, motivating Leverkusen to regroup, refine their strategies, and strive for even greater success in the seasons to come.

It's definitely a huge lesson to be learnt by the German side. Really they were put at a spot they shouldn't have been so vulnerable to be and at thesame time Atalanta used that game to gain victory and confidence. The German side are hardworking no doubt and I personally still have a good level of conviction in them. They should learn from the mistakes of the loss, remarkable feat they've attained. It's safe to commend them greatly. Both teams literally deserves good commendation.

The season is ending with the underdogs having the last laugh because they are defeating gaints that we did not think was possible, Manchester United defeated Manchester city in the FA cup final and nobody could have seen that coming, Atalanta defeated Leverkusen and ended their unbeaten run in the Europa League and this was one of the shock of the season as Leverkusen could not score. We now have Dortmund against Real Madrid, are we to expect another underdog stories becoming triumph. Real Madrid are champions league giants and if they lose it would be a disappointment because they are favourites to win but if Dortmund wins, the whole world will be jubilating with them because they just defeated the best team in the world. Dortmund do not stand a chance against Real Madrid but this is football and things can change on the field but for Dortmund to become winners they have to be prepared for real madrid comeback spirit.
Well football still remains one very unpredictable sport and this season has seen lots of surprises spring up especially in finals, like the victory of Man United over Man City was real surprising. Also the UEL final where we saw Atalanta been able to not just get a 1-0 but 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen who have had an invincible season and just losing that final. These surprises now brings us on what to expect in thee UCL final as I hear some notions saying Dortmund will pull the surprise against Real Madrid at London.

Real Madrid are the favorites for this title as they have the most  title in this competition and are on the road to a 15th one. That in mind, you would be able to understand how much experience these squad has heading into this final and the thoughts of losing this final isn’t even in their head at all. No doubt, Dortmund have had q great run of victories which brought them to this stage but against a team like Real Madrid, of course they’re the underdogs.

They will need to do more than a lot if they should stand a chance against Real Madrid in the finals because this Madrid team has a vast experience of the UCL and wouldn’t be coming to joke on Saturday. Of course with how football this season especially has been unpredictable, Dortmund stands a chance but Illsay their chance is just 20% compared to Real Madrid 80% chance. Real Madrid have a comeback spirit and I think if Dortmund can defeat that then they can pull up one of the biggest surprises in UCL football.

Initially I also hoped for the same thing, namely replacing Erik Ten Hag with a new coach, but is this really necessary when Man United needs a little more time to show that Erik Ten Hag deserves another season's chance. Who are the suitable coaches available in the transfer market? So from there it makes the search even more difficult if the availability of trainers is minimal. In the end, with 1 opportunity this season, it doesn't guarantee that it will be profitable for Erik Ten Hag if he doesn't recruit quality players. If I'm not mistaken, Sir Jim Ratcliffe made 5 rules that will be applied regarding player transfers.
1. Maximum players must be 25 years old
2. No star players (Galacticos)
3. Playing style is determined by director Jason Wilcox
4. The coach only determines the player's position, not their name
5. The INEOS Group will provide three names of players in each position (front line, midfield and back line) so that the coach must choose one of them. This also means that the coach does not determine the players as a whole. For me the suggestions for these 3 players must be based on input from the players fans.
Well as things are right now, I think Man United can still hang in with ETH as in the coaching market there are no A-Class coach but whateve the decision is, it’s up to the board to take. Meanwhile for ETH this time, he can use to build up good tactics and learn better approaches to games in preparation for the new season. Ten Haag could be saved from the plans of Ratcliff on players transfer, they pointed out the meed for less stars, and this can be seen as having players for long term project.

Now the issue will be on the coach not being able to take charge of transfers as this could in a way be a draw back for coaches. This is the similar problem Chelsea is facing and I think this mostly hinders success of coaches. As they’re not allowed to select the players they need rather are let to just use the players gotten by the board. As the board are trying to get the club back on track.

i think this style should have a rethink as it could lead to a failed connection between Coach and Players. INEOS have good plans in mind but the only fault is the players not participating in the players acquisition as that could cause some sort of friction in the team. Well I would love them to come out with a decision for ETH first then adjustments can be made.

Guardiola with financial backing is a cheat code for a league, only Klopp has stopped him just in one season. The financial backing makes Guardiola a lot easier to prepare the plan for each season, because he can get any player he want to settle in his tactical plans, while other managers have to wait what type of players their clubs can get to prepare the plan for the season. Guardiola himself is also a 'pull' for any player to come to his team, it's rare for players to reject the opportunity play under Guardiola while they can also get the highest possible wage.will

Arteta needs to stop wasting their budget on players who can't improve his team. Some signings like Ramsdale, Jesus, and Havertz are proof of the lack ability of Arteta at identifying players who are able to make progress in his team. Arsenal currently need a clinical Central Forward and and Central Midfielder, the current players in that positions can't be relied on due to injuries and inconsistency. It feels easy to predict who will be the winner next season, and the hardest prediction is who will finish in top four position, there are many contestants who are developing to challenge that spots, like Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Manchester United and Chelsea, alongside Liverpool and Arsenal themself.
Every great coach will sure be needing adequate funding to be able to thrive and I think this is the bliss of Manchester City side as they have the huge amount to spend for Pep to be able to get the type of players he want season in and out. The fact that in 7 years, they have won the title 6 times is a big indication of how top their team is and you must give credits to both Pep and the Board for releasing the finance for him. Arsenal who are now getting back on their feats haven’t had the best of signings as you can see how in the past 2 seasons.

Their mew players tend not to be at that top level in one match or two or more. This is an indication on the need for the scouting team to seat up and do their job real good as they’re so close to challenging Man City. What they need so dearly at this point is a complete striker who will be sure of banging in 20+ goals in a single season amd with that of course, they can be sure of winning the league, they also need a good midfielder but not as they need a striker.

Of course, Arteta will be able to build this player and help him adapt to their style and this team could be on fire next season. Well next season will be real exciting especially with Man City still remaining dominant both their players and financially, Chelsea rebuilding real fast and Man United, not forgetting Arsenal, Liverpool and likes of Aston Villa and Tottenham. Wow next season will be super exciting but I think Man City might win the title again.

Because Mbappe is still quite young and he is one of the great players that France has, he already has the World Cup title as well as being the best young player and it would be shame if his career had to stagnate without significant improvement in European competition.
PSG is actually not bad team because they are the only best in French football, but that will never be enough and of course Mbappe wants bigger things than just title in French competition.
Moreover, I also want to see how Enrique proves that he previously said that PSG will still be the best even without Mbappe, this could be challenge for Enrique considering that almost all of PSG success is thanks to Mbappe contribution as goal machine.

But speaking of Mbappe leaving PSG, it was the same as Ibrahimovic, where when he became an important player and goal machine for PSG, he went to another team, at that time, Ibrahimovic was really raised by PSG and he became great player for PSG.
But unfortunately until he retired he had never even won UCL title and hopefully Mbappe fate will not be like Ibrahimovic considering that Mbappe also went to the right team, namely Real Madrid.
I think it’s not surprising when we see Mbappe as a world class player because come on look at the feats he’s achieved both for club and country at a young age. I think him staying at PSG will be sort of limiting him from more because it’s obvious PSG would struggle to be European Champions and he sure needs an European trophy to at least fetch him individual awards. Of course when talk about the big teams, PSG is sure amongst them but I think them being European deficient is the red flag on the club and a player like Kylian needs to win European trophies.

Yes the UCL is the biggest stage in club football and with Mbappe winning that of course he can arch his name is individual awards and playing for a club like Real Madrid who are on course for their 15th UCL is really one great deal for him. The assertion of Enrique on PSG still going forward and performing better even without Kylian isn’t bad at least it’s giving hope to the team. I think the board needs to give him that confidence and help him sign the players he want as I think he’ll be wanting to build the team afresh so as to help him still dominate in France and Challenge in Europe.

Of course Zlatan and Kylian time at PSG can be likened and with that I’m confident of the team still thriving up especially with the right tactics. Mbappe to Real Madrid will be a bomb as you can be so sure that he will be winning the UCL within his first 3 seasons at the club. Well PSG over the years have been known for signing talented players and they'll still sign a player that would be a good or close to Mbappé.

These two teams are indeed the best in the SPL and currently the competition is increasingly visible from the two teams. But of course Al-Hilal is better in the SPL and he is the champion this season. Al-Nassr has always been defeated by Al-Hilal many times and until now that I remember, Al-Nassr has never won against Al-Hilal in the SPL. but yes, of course we will see in the Saudi Arabian King's Cup whether Cristiano Ronaldo and his friends will be successful in winning the final match or not, but yes, Ronaldo will definitely use all his energy to make Al-Nassr become champions in the Saudi Arabian King's Cup, as will Mitrovic and His friends definitely want to win that match and want to win lots of titles and of course Jorge Jesus' troops will not waste this opportunity.

If you look at Al-Nassr's last match against Al-Hilal with a draw then there is actually hope for Al-Nassr to win that match and of course Luis Castro will also definitely make a good strategy and formation and will definitely want to win that match because by winning the title The Saudi Arabian King's Cup will certainly be a cure for failing to become champions in the SPL.

In the last match Al-Nassr succeeded in beating Ittihad and of course in the next match in the Al-Nassr King's Cup it will definitely confident even though the opponent they face is stronger than Ittihad.
The SPL this season had 2 big teams whom their matches held lots of excitements and wishes, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal. Whenever any these teAms meet this season, you can tell how tensed the prematch and during the match is because of how high the expectations are from the fans. Yes Al-Hilal keeps proving to be superior whenever they faceoff and I think that was able to resound their name on the title, the SPL winners.

Well they still have one last dance which is the finals of the Kings Cup and you can already imagine how tough this competition will go. Al-Nassr would want to rewrite the narratives of them been behind Al-Hilal in terms of everything and trust Ronaldo to give his all to lift his first trophy. Al-Hilal who wouldn’t mind adding another trophy to their cabinet will of course come carefully into this match, wary of the attacking threats of Al-Nassr.

Al-Nassr, coach and players know how important this match is to them and I think their recent draw against Al-Hilal can be a good start to spur them up into the match. They need to devise a great strategy to attack but while attacking, they ought not to forget their defense as they could be hurt with a leaking defense line. I stand on Al-Nassr to get the win from this match but that will be done if they can maintain their high intensity in recent matches and take this match into their hands, then of course they can be able to get the Kings Cup.

The Italian League is not just any league because the competition in this league is also quite tight, even though Atalanta is not at the top of the rankings, the technique they play is almost equivalent to the performance of clubs at the top level in other leagues. Remember when Atalanta was able to beat Liverpool, who at that time were at the top 2nd place in the Premier League, no one expected Atalanta to be able to beat Liverpool with an amazing score, so it is not impossible that Atalanta could do the same thing against Leverkusen even though this club is in first place in the Bundesliga with 0 defeats because the Bundesliga is less competitive, unlike the Italian league where the club Italian clubs are a threat in international tournaments.

I was initially doubtful when Leverkusen and Atalanta met in the Europa League final because what I feared would really be the underdog club winning the title. But this is also a lesson for bettors who want to bet their money on the Europa League international tournament because most people's predictions from the start may still be wrong and elite clubs will not necessarily perform perfectly in the European League. But if it is in the Champions League tournament, I am sure that the club that has greater strength will win this prestigious title.
The match between Leverkusen and Atalanta was already foreseen to be competitive, but Leverkusen got so vulnerable at the earliest moment of the game after the first goal was netted. Despite expectations for Leverkusen to bounce back and exert pressure on Atalanta, they got disorganized, allowing Lookman to exploit gaps and secure a crucial goal for Atalanta. This initial setback seemed to cost Leverkusen dearly, seen in Xabi's panic as they were behind by two goals before the injury time. The mounting pressure from Atalanta increased Leverkusen's struggles, giving them the ability to take control of the match.

Leverkusen has shown resilience in previous matches by series of comebacks, their efforts were broken and condemned by Atalanta's solid defense and Lookman's three winning goals in the game. Leverkusen's performance throughout the match was lacking in several areas with their attempts to outrun Atalanta's defense proving ineffective. Despite the disappointment, Xabi's efforts to lead Leverkusen to this stage should be appreciated and honored too. Atalanta's victory over Leverkusen was significant to breaking Leverkusen's unbeaten record and demonstrating their feats on the field.

In conclusion, Leverkusen's lackings in the match gave them areas for improvement, particularly in maintaining composure under pressure and breaking through resistive defenses. While the defeat is a huge loss, it's not the end for Leverkusen, and they can use this experience to regroup, learn, and come back stronger in future matches. Congratulations to Atalanta for their well-deserved victory, and for proving themselves as a formidable opponent throughout the match. Leverkusen definitely should be looking forward to their DFB pokal encounter and I'm certain it'd be an easy win for them. There and then they'd be crowned with two trophies.
