Well the weekend is back and we’ve got some fun EPL matches going down as we have the results affecting both the teams in the top positions and the teams in the bottom of the table. The big matches of Liverpool and City were big worries for Burnley and Everton. But our focus remains on Liverpool and City’s strength in the league title. These two clubs have proven to be determined and relentless in how they chase for the league as we’ve got both teams all trying to meet up with each other and fight so hard.

Manchester City had their wins this weekend and that saw them secure their spot on top of the table. Not long after, Liverpool got the win and this saw City drop down a little; this is the fun of the EPL. Arsenal will sure need a win tomorrow to show that they’re still rock solid in the league title chase, though I don’t see them keeping up for long in this chase as Liverpool and City are very dominant in this chase.

The fact now is that kost of these players dont have ge wide vast of experience needed in an European competition and they can’t be seen as a team with experience for the European title.

So I feel, Barcelona will really have a lot of work to do when it comes to succeeding as they’ll try to get better players who’ll be able to leave for free or for cheaper price as this is what’s key for the club to succeed. Luck might not probably work for them because Napoli is also one hungry side and would be able to cause Barcelona some worry in the UCL an would want to go to the next round of this competition.

Girona didn't quit impress in that game, yes Real Madrid showed class In the game, but with the way they performed this season I expected Girona to fight back and atleast try to make the game very tough for Madrid to win, well this is one loophole they need to work on, else other teams might begin to understand the tactics of winning them.

But the thing I have doubt about is if he'll be moving to Barcelona, I don't see that happening, especially now that Jurgen Kloop has made open his plans of resignation at the end of the tournament, that's a big opportunity for Alonso to coach one f his previous club and we all know how well good coaches admire moving to the EPL, I think Xabi won't waste time moving to Liverpool if they come calling.

That's really his target before resignation, and to be honest it would be lovely if he achieves that. Just like other great coaches like Sir Alex that won a trophy before their Resignation Klopp would add the list and that's why he's trying his best to add one or two trophies to his record, he's close to that but not as close enough, cause City pose to be a very big threat to Klopp achieving the EPL this season.

Yeah you're right, adding another EPL title to Liverpool before his resignation would make lots of sense,however Liverpool would really miss Klopp if his resigns and I fear things could get worst for the club if they fail to replace him with a good manager, they could end up like Manchester United, that been struggling to achieve the EPL since the resignation of Sir Alex Ferguson. And that would be very bad for Liverpool.

Marseille had a fair encounter earlier today against Metz, both sides also managed to net in goals for themselves. Well the outcome of the game didn't necessarily influence their table standings but it was worthwhile. It's a confidence booster for both teams. Especially for Marseille.

They've got the Europa League encounter ahead of them and most definitely, they've got to try to act better than they've always done. They shouldn't trade chances and their opponent has for seasons past been reselient in their European quests. Let's just see how the next European cup games would turn out for all the advanced teams too. Even though it's much expected that Marseille will be the victor in the end, it's certain that it won't also be an easy stride for them too.

Their inconsistency is unhealthy and they just have to find a way to stop the losses from occuring through a narrow means. There's still a bit of time for their errors to be reshaped and corrected too.

Real Madrid has even been performing at their best with a stable defense in the team, then we think of how much more they'd perform if they eventually get an extra charge to their defense line. Left for me, they're doing just fine with the current defense. They've in the team a lot of youngsters that are doing excellent in their general balling ability and most definitely Alphonso Davies would have been a beautiful addition.

Well before now, Davies was a prospect but since Ancelloti has said for now he won't be making any change to his squad and he's comfortable with them and also the move didn't really work, I believe they have what it takes to get the species of defense they want in the team and the team's commitment and bond would really boost their results.

Barcelona will face Granada this week which will be a very important match for them to win because the two teams above their ranking will face each other. And if Barcelona wins this match and the two teams above their ranking get a draw then Barcelona will get a chance to continue minimize points distance with real madrid and girona.

Xavi has been a good manager at the Spanish side, even though they've had some shaky situations, they've just found a way to cover up lapses and make necessary coverings to the loopholes. It's very much good that they were able to put in good effort regardless of what they lacked to good team building. They're a good squad no doubt but there's still lots of work to be done for them to get back to limelight fully.

Nonetheless, Xavi would have still done better than he's already done. Well, his days with the team are technically numbered and he's got some commendations which he definitely deserves. I don't know what to say about his intended replacement but all I'll say is Barcelona as a team has work to be done and I'd love to see the new Barcelona in seasons and games to come. Maybe we should be expecting something better than what they've done lately.

Real Madrid's midfield is very much solid, they've got good hands in charge, the likes of Luka, Bellingham, Kroos and others. Luka and Kroos have been older in the team and they've mastered all the tactics and techniques of Ancelloti. They're more or less the leaders and they're coordinating other bodies well. They're literally a good example too. They've been able to be the support the young players need to push and forge further.

For Bellingham, he's been a potential asset to the team, a trained midfielder, performing perfectly in the forward position. He's now become a versatile player and that's one quality that a coach really craves for in his team and every player needs to activate in themselves that skill too. Real Madrid still has lots of exploits to do with these boys and the coach is the right man for the job in grooming them into better men for the future Madrid.

Dortmund in previous seasons have been very much active and eager to chase the trophy. Although at the moment the chase isn't off, they've still got every chance in store to prove themselves. Their game against Heidenheim is ongoing and it's technically a determinant of how good they've been.

They've had scaly strides from the start of the season till now, they've managed to scale through in the UCL, no one knows their fate in the next round but there's certainty that there's difference in their performances now and then too. Manchester City are on the race for the league title and know how important getting all 3 points at the Etihad is and they made it all possible as they got all their goals in the second half of the game.

Erling stood up when City seemed they were falling already and he got the brace to hand them the 3 points. Everton tried to contain City but couldn’t hold up for a while as City still came out powerful, well I was pretty sure City would claim the 3 points but i didn't expect them to really disturb Cify like they did today.

The blues has no reason to sell its players at a big loss. Chelsea is still having two chances to get the trophies this season through carabao and FA cup. The chance to climb up is still there but im feeling very disappointed with the inconsistentcy showed by the club.
It likes the blues needs to be revamped as soon as possible. Todd boehlay has been fully failed in reforming the club. Pochettino was so useless as a coach and this is the main problem.

It seems like that this problem will not be solved asap.

Pochettino has pointed out the effects of having too many youngsters in the club as this have not helped the team achieve anything this season. This means that most of these youngsters weren’t needed and they have failed to reach their potential at the club. This means they’ll have to be offloaded because the club doesn’t need to be spending on players that aren’t adding value to the club. The club is in her rebuilding phase and will need to cut down on crazy expenses.

The players still have the EFL Final and still in the FA Cup and could have one or bot titles depending on how serious the boys could get. Another issue is Poch as he’s not a quality coach to help these boys achieve maximum potential to get the club’s glory days back. Well this is just his first season with the boys and I'm very sure they'll need more time together before they'll start achieving success.

That is a very big loophole that they have to fill because conceding against the Super Eagles is not a good idea.
Nigeria is a team that defends well, so if they score you first, it might be game over, except maybe a drama like the one that happened in the South Africa game happens.

Talking about the last 4 teams of the AFCON and comparing them in their respective strengths and weaknesses. Nigeria is one solid team with a very good defense line and they’ve got the midfield always wanting to support the defense line and the attacking line though not clinical but with Victor up fromt they’re set to create great chances.

South Africa are also good in team play but not clinical in front of goal amd this was one issue they had though they played against a hard rock defended Nigerian team. Ivory Coast too on their end have been one team that’s always conceded in all their matches this tournament but not against Congo. Now this will be one big issue for Ivory Coast going into this final with Nigeria as the Super Eagles are one team that defeated them in the group stage phase. With the Eagles rock defense line and wonderful goalie, I think Ivory Coast will have great issues trying to defeat them in the final.

Harry Kane is one prolific striker that doesn’t get the media hypes as he deserves. Harry is one striker that you could have and not have much of a worry that you’ll be lacking the fire up front.

He’s got so many ambitions and winning the UCL is one though I think this might be a little too much for him at this time especially as this team isn’t looking too clinical and might not be able to match clubs like Man City and Real Madrid. I think Bayern will be one great team with Kane leading upfront and they would sure have a shot at the UCL but maybe not this season.

We all saw the busy schedule in the UCL and Bundesliga and that's enough for the move to Real Madrid to be delayed until next summer, I'm not very suprised he didn't move to Real Madrid cause he's a very important player for Bayern Munich and there's no way they'll be willing to let go of their star player when they still got a tough competition in both the Bundesliga and UCL tournament.

Alphonso Davies is a very fine player a good wing back that would really be beneficial to Real Madrid and that's why they're in demand of him, if not for the busy schedule,i think Real would had been able to lure him easily out of Bayern Munich but they'll have to wait till summer and see if they'll be able to get him. Alphonso Davies has proved himself at Bayern Munich he's helped them achieve lots with his good skills and I believe just like Bellingham, Davies is going to excel at Real Madrid in his position.

Well Inter Milan are the stronger ones of these 2 sides as they’ve shown their strength in their win against League chasers, Juventus. For this match, I think Roma should ve careful on how they play so as not to concede much goals. Yes much goals because of how fast paced the attackers of Inter Milan are. Inter Milan have good and quality attackers that can take on the shaky defense of Roma. Roma aren’t in a good shape yet and for this fact they are not to even be trusted to get anything off this match

Many will think because they’ve had several wins under the new coach but they should also consider the opponents they had these wins over and compare to the big test before them this weekend. Roma will have no choice than to go defensive maybe that way the goal margin Inter will use to win could be reduced to 1 or 2.
