41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: They put an end to online gambling: what do you think it's going to happen? on: May 11, 2024, 06:13:38 PM
That with $200 he can stake and win about $100000 daily something that you won't even struggle to get, they can't even pay someone at work monthly up to that amount. So if their is no more online gambling that means definitely there won't be no more gambling at all. So how will you cope in your country if eventually they put an end to online gambling?

Gambling should not be viewed as a viable career path.  The lure of winning big may seem enticing, but for most people it is more likely to lead to financial hardship than success.  The government's regulations around online gambling are aimed at protecting vulnerable individuals who may be tempted to chase unlikely wins as an escape from their daily struggles. (There is a reason that gambling is more widespread in poor societies.)

There are more reliable ways to improve one's financial situation, even if they require sacrifice and hard work.  Building skills, getting additional education and seeking out honest employment can provide a steady income and sense of dignity.  It may not be as exciting as a jackpot win in the short term, but will likely lead to greater security and satisfaction over time.

If online gambling faces further restrictions, those who have come to depend on it will need to make difficult adjustments to their lifestyle and expectations.  But with commitment to more sustainable goals, rather than fantasies a productive path forward is possible.  There are always alternatives for those willing to put in the effort.
42  Other / Meta / Re: Post deleted? on: May 11, 2024, 02:22:14 PM
It was reported for "Wrong area, Marketplace Services ad". Not sure if it should have been straight up deleted or not without seeing the content.
You can click on the link and see the products and services the exchange is providing. You will see that the exchange is providing no exchanges. I posted about this and he admitted that I am correct. If it is an exchange, the exchange would have been moved by the other moderator instead of deleting it but that is not yet an exchange but a site that list the price of some stocks in bitcoin which I think was the reason it was deleted.

I may be wrong, but I doubt the moderator who handled the report actually checked the content on the website. The post was reported for being in the wrong section. The moderator likely saw the post and didn't consider it valuable enough to move it to the correct board. Instead, they deleted it (moved it to trash), which is common practice for low-value topics and posts.

@Lucasfoundation, feel free to create a new topic in either the 'Service Announcements' or 'Service Discussion' boards, depending on the nature of your thread. Both board names are quite self-explanatory. You can also browse through threads from other services for inspiration.
43  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Need suggestion for a good Monero wallet on: May 10, 2024, 09:26:37 PM
I am running the wallet for a few days. The balance is still zero [The required block height yet to be found], the wallet will find the block, I will see balance and then after the full sync I will be able to move the funds. 🤪

I think maybe you should check "the wallet restore height" setting in your wallet.
How to change the wallet restore height

I'm not sure about the feather wallet, but as far as I know almost every Monero wallet has it.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is it right to invest in Bitcoin? on: May 10, 2024, 08:49:47 PM
No one really knows if Bitcoin will keep going up or crash back down.  I mean, who can see the future? The best tips are: only put in money you're okay with losing, and brace yourself for a wild ride either way.  Don't blow your savings on Bitcoin thinking you'll get rich quick.  Set a budget you're comfortable with and  read up on it so you actually understand what Bitcoin is.  Have a strategy in mind, like if you'll sell if it drops below a certain point or if it hits a crazy high number.  There's no magic trick to know if or when Bitcoin will peak.  But if you educate yourself start small, know it could get rocky, yet still think it's a worthwhile gamble, then maybe dive on in.
45  Other / Meta / Re: Post deleted? on: May 10, 2024, 08:03:16 PM
I created a post in project discussions announcing a Bitcoin Exchange. [ANN].

You created your post (topic) in the "Bitcoin discussion" board. It is a general board for discussions about Bitcoin and related topics, but nothing else. That's probably the reason why your topic was deleted.
46  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Non custodial wallet is not for the weak on: May 10, 2024, 07:50:31 PM
Custodial wallets can seem easy and convenient, but you gotta ask yourself - do I really wanna hand over control of my hard-earned crypto to someone else? That don't sit right with me.  Non-custodial wallets put you in the driver's seat, but they take some work to set up and understand properly.

I get why that might turn some folks off.  It's a hassle no doubt.  But for those of us that care more about true ownership and security versus just convenience, non-custodial is the way to go.  It just comes down to personal preference I guess and  if controlling your own crypto matters to you, then yeah, take the time to learn how to use a non-custodial wallet.  Itll pay off in the long run when no one can lock you outta your funds but you.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Hahahaha, the world of cryptocurrency is really magical on: May 10, 2024, 07:45:32 PM
Meme coins are different from other crypto projects with clear real-world uses.  They mainly depend on hype rather than utility.  This makes it easier for whales with lots of money to control the market.  Many of these coins are worthless and meant to fail eventually and  it's common for creators to suddenly take investors' money and vanish - known as a rug pull.

New crypto investors and greedy folks often lose money on meme coins.  They see other people making big profits and want part of the action.  So they buy meme coins without doing research, only to lose it all when the creators pull the rug out from under them.  These digital bandits are effective at draining the pockets of those blinded by dreams of easy money.

In the end, many meme coins are fool's gold - not worth the risk for most regular investors.  It pays to do your homework before jumping into the latest hot crypto fad.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is all wealth? on: May 09, 2024, 07:38:20 PM
<...>
I don't know how accurate my words are but to me it seems right now in this situation.

Money isn't everything!  Feels like it is I know.  But there's more to this life.  Family, good friends, people who genuinely care for you - you cant put a price tag on that stuff.  Yet it matters so much, especially when times are tough.  People like that can be an anchor for you.

Yeah I'm not gonna lie, the situation plainly sucks.  Money problems are mad stressful, no doubt.  But don't let that completely overwhelm you, you know?  Focus on what you can control for now - hitting those books building real skills, hustling hard.  There's a way upwards, but itll probably take some grit to get there.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Using A Journal Spreadsheets Will Pave The Way For Addiction To Gambling on: May 09, 2024, 07:31:09 PM
I want to ask: Are Using A Journal or Spreadsheets Will Fave The Way For Addiction To Gambling?

I wouldn't say tracking bets turns you into an addict.  Lotsa folks keep journals or spreadsheets to follow their gambling.  It helps spot things - like if you got bad habits popping up or maybe a lucky streak rideing in.  Sure, some get carried away with the tracking, but that can happen with anything and  just 'cause you write down what you buy don't mean youre obsessed with shopping or something.

Point is, tracking ain't just for addicts.  Regular people do it too.  It's a solid way to keep your bets organized.  Doesn't have to be a bad thing.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the main points of gambling? on: May 09, 2024, 07:24:45 PM
Does it mean they don't know the main points of gambling?

No. This doesn't mean that people don't know the main points of gambling. They know you risk something for the chance to gain more.  But understanding the basics don't mean you grasp the appeal or downsides.  For some, it's harmless fun.  For others, ruinous addiction.

Sure most folks understand the core idea - put something on the line and hope luck favors you.  but that surface comprehension skips why it entices some personalities and destroys others.  Some can dabble and walk away.  Others crave one more try, then another, despite the losses piling up.  Self-control ain't a given.  And addiction makes you play a whole different game.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who's responsible for the dead coins? on: May 09, 2024, 06:36:43 PM
So, who's responsible when the Coins dies?

Well, definitely those developers and project heads that create them.  If a coin is crappy or too gimmicky, or even an outright scam (and yeah, those exist alright) the fault lies squarely on them! I mean they gotta ship something with real merit, right? Sure, hype and excitement can send prices ballooning for a bit, but no smoke and mirrors can prevent a coin from tanking eventually and

now about ghost coins - more often than not shady devs make off with the money pocketed from investors.  So really, folks looking to buy cryptos should be darn careful about who they decide to fund.
52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: credits cards with btc on: May 09, 2024, 06:27:03 PM
Yeah, like already said, most crypto platforms  won't let you withdraw coins right away if you buy crypto with a credit card.  They gotta watch out for scams and stuff and  Binance is the same way.  If you use your Visa or whatever to get some Bitcoin on there, it'll probably be a few days before they actually give it to you.  I'm pretty sure they wait until they can confirm its not stolen credits or something shady happening.  So just a heads up when using Binance that you won't have access to your shiny new crypto coins right away.  It's annoying but that's how it works.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I get into trading on: May 08, 2024, 08:36:30 PM
I'm still pretty new to crypto trading myself, so I get where you're coming from.  It can definitely be intimidating trying to wrap your head around it at first.  The decentralized nature of crypto makes it unlike anything else in traditional finance.  But once you start to understand the basics, it gets easier.

I spent a good amount of time reading guides and watching tutorials to familiarize myself with how crypto exchanges work the different order types, and general trading terminology.  I'd recommend doing the same - take it slow and make sure you really comprehend things before risking your capital.

As far as platforms, I have primarily used Binance and KuCOin.  From my experience, most major crypto exchanges dont integrate with MetaTrader.  They have their own built-in trading interfaces that you'll need to get accustomed to.  The principles of trading remain largely the same but the tools and user experience vary across platforms.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People Tokens are pumping. Bullish. on: May 08, 2024, 08:19:53 PM
I believe the world of altcoins is starting to fade away.
The new and more powerful trend is in people profile tokens; <...>

What exactly are "people profile tokens"?  As far as I know, they still need the altcoins network to function, just like NFTs, right? So if altcoins are starting to fade away, then there won't be any tokens, right?
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is going to happen with Bitcoin now? on: May 04, 2024, 08:50:29 PM
I have seen that after this Bitcoin halving, the price of Bitcoin has decreased a lot.

What do you mean? The price of bitcoin is exactly what it was two months ago, and if we take into account the price that was at the end of last year, the price of bitcoin has risen significantly, not the other way around. Just because we had a short-term pre-halving spike and a new ATH, it doesn't mean that the price of Bitcoin has decreased a lot!

Does that mean we will see a Bitcoin bull market now? Or will it decrease again? What is your view on Bitcoin?

You can't really expect someone to know this. We can only speculate.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: Take care of your money and learn to save. on: May 04, 2024, 08:33:45 PM
Money's fine, I guess, but real friends who have your back are way more important.  Close friends stick with you through good times and bad. Not just when you're pickin' up the tab at the bar!  So be wise how you spend, not throwing money around just cause you got it now.  Buy things you really like but save some for later, and you'll find yourself with true genuine people who care about the real you.  And not with fake friends, who only care about your money.
57  Economy / Gambling / Re: THE NEW STRATEGY FOR LATEBETTING FOR 2024 on: May 04, 2024, 08:21:19 PM
<...>

You said yourself it ain't working as good as before.  This late betting strategy sounds slick, but if the bookies are onto it and it's not paying off anymore, its more like some fading fad than a prized trick up your sleeve.

The truth is, not even you can cash in on this so-called strategy now and  so you figure you can make a few extra bucks pawning it off to some sucker before you skip town.  I call BS.  Don't try and pull a fast one here bud.  Ain't gonna fly if your system's a bust.
58  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Jonbet Crash Game Seeding Event on: May 04, 2024, 08:12:20 PM
Three seeding events for the same game? That's funny!  It seems like theyre running in circles,, unable to move forward but scared to call it quits, so they recycle the same stuff hoping folks stay curious and  either their plans weren't concrete or they're working some sketchy angle.  I wouldn't hang around expecting them to finally open.  Plenty of gambling platforms actually get off the ground without all this run-around.
59  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: May 04, 2024, 08:01:18 PM
Everyone who has developed his own gambling strategies will believed they are the best, i wont doubt about that because that is what we are using on gambling and still fetch us wining sometimes, however, there is more need to be able to develop more on some of this strategies, revise on them and make use of additional ones to help have more better gambling experience, which is one of the best reason why we need to developed gambling strategy, so that we can enjoy gambling each time we are doing it.

What works one day might fail the next.  When it comes to gambling, there is no strategy that can produce consistent results. It's all about chance, not skill or strategy.  Sure you can try tactics like managing your bank, picking games where the odds ain't stacked so high maybe even throwing a few basic plays out there.  But ultimately the outcome is always in the hands of luck, not some can't-miss strategy.
60  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 04, 2024, 07:04:49 PM
But I insist on 2 things:

  • First, we should all ask Freebitco.in to investigate because there is a problem and it can affect us all, everyone (tomorrow can affect you or you or all) and veteran users may have more strength than newbies.
  • Second, I myself lend my account to freebitco.in to investigate. After 36 hours I still see the wrong deposit address (I cannot change it) and the damn cashtravel script. It happens to me on 2 PCs and 1 mobile phone while another person on those same PCs with his account, sees his correct deposit address and does not see the script in the developer tools...

Both of your requests sound reasonable. I would also like to see that freebitco.in investigate this issue thoroughly.  A glitch affecting deposit addresses and scripts could be a serious problem.

...but Freebitco.in doesn't want to investigate.

Unfortunately, there's not much we can do at this point other than wait for TheQuin to come in and clarify their side.
