201  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: March 08, 2024, 10:05:49 PM
I don't if @Carollzinha and the stake marketing team really care about AI spammers or not. If they do. The ball is in their hands.

According to her own words, she should:

Well, now let me point some things that I see some people are misinterpreting in our campaign
  • We do not incentive or support spam of any kind. Every post with less than 150 characters, with an interval of less than 5 minutes (between each post) or has no quality is not paid.
  • AI usage is forbidden in our campaign (and I really wish all the campaign managers would do the same).
  • We are a team of 7 paying attention to everyone's post and 5 of them are responsible for rating all of them. We know most all the campaigns are focused in old & experienced gamblers but we cant forget that the new generation also uses Bitcointalk to learn about the gambling & cryptos world.. and thats why our team has people like Adrian, with over 8 years of experience, but we also have Tiiks, with less than 6 months inside of it. For us, everyone matters
  • The best poster rewards are not given for those with the highest total of posts, as someone mentioned, it is given for the top 2 (based in their final rating) + 2 more members that reached a final rating of at least 7.5. Here you can see our Rating Sheet
  • I dont really trust in the current Merit System, tbh. I have seen shitty posters with over 5k merits and I have also seen good posters that barely could reach Sr Member so no, dont ask me to use it as basis to accept or maintain members in the campaign because I wont.

Spammer borovichok has been re-admitted to the campaign right after JollyGood removed the negative tag from his profile, and was getting above average ratings from their team. What a joke.
202  Economy / Gambling / Re: An open letter to Eddie from Stake with lots of shares on Reddit on: March 07, 2024, 10:27:22 PM
It is true that you said this: a casino will not be successful if there are only a few gamblers who lose in it, or if the gamblers make a lot of money but eventually lose in the casino. Although there are also winners, there are only a few compared to the losers, who can hardly be counted in a day.

I gotta disagree with you there!  Casinos need a revolving door of winners and losers (keeps the game exciting!).  Think about it, big winners are basically human billboards, right?  Someone scores big, and everyone else jumps in to try their shot.  No big wins, no excitement. Casinos must have some winners, even if it means they gotta cough up some cash sometimes
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Even as a sport fan be careful! on: March 07, 2024, 10:00:19 PM
This situation with the stabbings probably has little to do with typical fan behavior, even if overzealous.  Regardless, violence of any sort shouldn't be tolerated, whether it's on the streets or in the stands.  People ought to feel safe cheering their team and  those who resorted to knives deserve punishment; banning raucous supporters misses the point.  Security guards can only do so much.  This isn't about banter gone too far but about a few troublemakers taking things to an unacceptable level.  We need to hold those responsible accountable, not victim-blame.
204  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEW][UNLIMITED MONEY GENERATOR][XINF][UNLIMITED MONEY][PVP][NO LIMITS] on: March 06, 2024, 05:39:24 PM
Honestly, OP, your post screams "skip" from the first glance.  The ALL CAPS feels like a desperate attempt to grab attention, and that title and name... well, let's just say it's not exactly confidence-inspiring.

If you want people to take your business seriously and actually engage with your content, consider rethinking the whole thing and a rewrite.
205  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: March 05, 2024, 11:28:19 PM

Don't try to be a smartass! It doesn't suit you.

Don't keep to yourself behind Kids, Keep walking hand in hand. This job doesn't suit you. Angry

Your wording is confusing. Can you try saying it again in a way that makes sense?

And by the way, lovesmayfamilis is right. You can't just accuse reputed members of using AI-generated content if you're not competent enough to use AI detection tools properly.  You gotta learn to tie your shoes before you win a marathon!
207  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: March 05, 2024, 10:25:46 PM
no vip or rewards programs in Metawin ? beside the competitions ?

No. Besides the competitions and referral program, MetaWin doesn't currently offer any VIP or tiered reward programs. Some casinos like to focus on running regular competitions to keep things exciting, so it's possible they'll stick with that.
208  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺Spinarium.com🐺 - iGaming casino with 400% welcome bonus + 200 free spins 🎮. on: March 05, 2024, 10:16:02 PM
Yep. Seems like every new online casino these days is cut from the same generic mold.  I'm no stranger to well-designed and user-friendly UI, but jeez, so many of these sites feel stale and  it's like they follow the same bland blueprint - big buttons everywhere, flashy colors and graphics assaulting your eyes.  Almost feels like fast food joints trying to grab your attention.

Part of me misses the good ol' days when youd come across a casino site with an actual theme or personality.  A pirate ship adventure or decked out like a sci-fi spaceship - something to make it pop! Now they only care about being efficient and easy to navigate so you can find your game faster.  I get it, but just feels so cookie-cutter today.

But anyway, Welcome to the forum @Spinarium!
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eurovision 2024 bets on: March 04, 2024, 09:05:42 PM
Let me know if you find any crypto bookies accepting Eurovision bets!

There are many reputable online sportsbooks that do. Actually, almost all of them.

You can find Eurovision betting odds on popular platform BC.Game here:
Code:
https://bc.game/sports?bt-path=%2Fspecials-18

And there are of course others, such as BK8, Cloudbet, Duelbits, FortuneJack, Sportsbet, Stake...

Rollbit Casino has Eurovision Song Contest winner betting as well. Just sayin'.  Wink

Here is the current odds table for top 10 favourites. Croatia seems to be the favorite among the bookies at the moment.

Croatia3.75
Ukraine4.4
Iceland7.5
Italy7.6
Belgium12.8
Sweden15.1
United Kingdom17.6
France17.6

210  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: seed and wallet validation on: March 04, 2024, 08:24:59 PM
That's probably for those who do not trust the ECDSA implementation, private, public key or address derivation of the hardware/software wallet that they are using.

Thank you for the explanation. Do you think it is necessary to do this with a battle tested wallet like electrum ?

No, it's not necessary. Electrum's been around awhile, so you probably don't need to do a test send in the same wallet before moving your coins. As long as you download Electrum from the official source and verify its legit, and not some malware, you should be fine.

But I get wanting extra peace of mind though.  Especially if you're moving a lot and,  personally, I'd test a small amount first, just to be 100% before I sent everything.  But that's just me being paranoid probably.
211  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 04, 2024, 07:01:33 PM
Having trouble accessing Rollbit! Anyone else?

I'm trying to log in to rollbit.com right now, but I keep getting a "please try again later" message. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Just wondering if it's a widespread problem or something on my end.

edit: No worries, the problem seems to be fixed! Everything's back to normal.
212  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seeds Bitcoin on: March 02, 2024, 09:35:43 PM
I've been pretty careful with it over the years - treating it like the password to a crypto vault.

Many folks run into issues - they write it down and lose the paper, store it digitally and lose access from tech problems, or they just don't plan ahead on how to keep it secure.  I managed to hold onto mine all this time, keeping it locked up and safe from accidents or hardware failures. It's a relief not having any close calls with losing the phrase and  give myself a little pat on the back for keeping it secure all this time.
213  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: is it possible to link two BTC wallet on the same installation of Electrum? on: March 02, 2024, 09:19:06 PM
Is there any way these two could be linked together? No transactions or any active action was done while on the same Electrum installation.

I opened both from seed and the connection was made thru Tor.

Well, it depends how you look at it.  In basic terms, no - with blockchain, no one can directly connect that both wallets are owned by the same person.  But if we're talking the Electrum server then yeah, I'd say there's a way.  Cause both wallets likely use the same server, right? And those servers can log IP addresses and stuff and  so if both wallets is accessing the same server from the same IP, then the server admin could potentially link transactions from both to the same user.

I dunno its kinda tricky.  But servers see IP addresses and traffic patterns and all that.  So there's a ways to connect dots if someone digs deep enough.  But in simple terms - blockchain, no.  Servers maybe yes.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized Gambling....Which do you prefer? on: March 02, 2024, 09:04:39 PM
Don't get me wrong, the idea of a casino running on blockchain technology is real neat.  but c'mon your average gambler just wants to play some slots or cards without jumping through a buncha hoops about crypto wallets and transaction fees and whatnot. Maybe Im just old fashioned.  I know the decentralization folks talk a big game about changing the world, but I just don't see myself switching over. And I'd bet my bottom dollar that these decentralized apps are gonna stay pretty niche compared to old school casinos for a good long while still.  But yeah, maybe I'm just an analog guy in a digital world.  Wouldn't be the first time.

216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this ever happened to you as a gambler? on: March 02, 2024, 08:06:49 PM
this is a trick question, right?

We've all heard stories of that one big win that never quite materializes.  At the end of the rainbow there may be no pot of gold - only empty pockets and regret.  Perhaps it stems from addiction, greed, or a combination of factors.  Either way, the lure of easy money can cloud judgment and rationality.  Some folks truly wrestle with addiction; others get caught in the thrill-seeking of risk-taking.  Many are driven by financial desperation rather than simple greed.  And of course, the gambling industry employs sophisticated methods to keep customers betting.

There are no easy answers here.  But one thing does seem clear: relying on gambling to solve one's problems often leads to more problems.  Moderation and perspective are valuable, if difficult to maintain.  Perhaps the wisest course lies less in judging others and more in examining what truly drives our own behavior.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you had this gambling experience? on: March 02, 2024, 07:58:32 PM
I've been there too.  You toss a few dollars on some game you don't care about, maybe make enough to buy a coffee and  then you go full stat geek, researching for hours, totally sure of your picks.  But then - bam! - they all lose.  Such a familiar story for any bettor.

We get that urge to spend way too much time analyzing matchups and numbers even for sports we don't follow.  Feeling like weve uncovered some secret strategy.  Yet more often than not, it blows up in our faces.  Just one of those painful lessons most gamblers have to learn at some point.
218  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: The Downfall of FreeBitco.in [YouTube] on: March 01, 2024, 05:31:01 PM
You have selectively used information and ignored facts that do not fit your narrative. For example, jper3009 did receive responses, both from TheQuin and their email support.

Once again, are you sure about that?

Yes, I'm sure.

TheQuin replied to the user on January 15:

I'm sorry if I missed it. Please send me a PM with the details.

And jper3009 himself confirmed that he received a response:

I'm not sure what happened but this is the explanation I got from TheQuin

"As a general observation when 2 outputs on the same transaction are sent to the same deposit address the first is processed immediately and then the server has to go back and reread the transaction before it processes the second one. That causes a delay in the second one showing up which often causes people to incorrectly think they only got one."

However in my case I was not credited the second transaction until date. I made 2 deposits, one was added and the other wasn't.

Yes, I'm aware the user still claims that one of his deposits wasn't credited.  However, for objectivity, I prefer not to draw conclusions based on a single complaint without attached evidence. It could be a legitimate issue or a simple misunderstanding.
219  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 01, 2024, 05:14:15 PM
Because some people want to have reassurance that their money is being managed properly. I know of a few high rollers (10 bitcoins + ) who moved all their coins off freebitco.in because there was so little information on them and when they heard the two guys operating the site had no backup plan if shit hit the fan.

You indeed worry about valid points but some posters here worry about our intentions of "spamming" the board with some youtube videos that have nothing but concrete information to provide as well as our own experience, let alone so many users here who indeed post nonsese in other topics and such, so yes, you make valid points that need to be addressed.

I have already pointed out that this is not true and that your video is highly subjective and opinion based. You have cherry-picked information that fits your narrative and ignored the rest.

Maybe 7-8 years ago everything was fine, you do understand users have no way of getting in touch with them ... what if you have 1 BTC stuck there? Try to take it a few steps forward.

As far as I am aware, nothing major has changed with freebitco.in compared to 7-8 years ago. (Correct me if I'm wrong as I didn't use the platform back then.) There's no point in discussing "What ifs..."

Again, as mentioned in the topic/video we want them to succeed, we get paid on a weekly basis from them with 128k+ referrals, but how this contradicts the fact there are serious issues here?

You want them to succeed? We are talking about the longest-running Bitcoin faucet and a gambling platform that has operated for over a decade with no major issues or scam accusations. That sounds like success to me!
220  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: The Downfall of FreeBitco.in [YouTube] on: March 01, 2024, 04:25:21 PM

So my question is, why did you continue to mislead your viewers (basically lied) with your video?

Watch again buddy, at 2:24.
The quote is from jper3009.

Yes, it is taken in the video with a quoted frame under Gess's post but it has nothing todo with Gess.

Yes. You seem to be right about that. You used a quote from GESS242558, so I made the wrong conclusion.

But still, same argument. You have selectively used information and ignored facts that do not fit your narrative. For example, jper3009 did receive responses, both from TheQuin and their email support. You didn't mention that. In the video, the impression given was that there was a complete lack of response, which is not true.

Btw at 9:42 it is mentioned the user (jper) was credited eventually but it has taken 6 months!

No, I NEVER got to that part. I found your video very subjective and based on opinions rather than facts, so I stopped watching.
