41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell ADA for loss to buy more bitcoin at this dip? on: May 11, 2021, 02:02:04 AM
If it's only a matter of 100$ then hold ADA for now. Also, ADA has recovered significantly from the point when you posted this, so if you don't feel like holding it then better to sell it for BTC. Recently BTC is fluctuating too much and there is no proper speculation on which side BTC will move so hold USDT until it settles or if you believe in the long term then just buy BTC and forget it.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much can you predict this sh*t?! Or is it pure gamble? on: May 10, 2021, 05:59:10 PM
It's a demand and supply market. Most of the BTC and ETH lately are going out of the exchanges compared to how much they are coming in so you can easily say that the demand is the same but supply is getting low. Obviously, the price will increase. If you are talking about short-term pumps and dumps then there is nothing to pin point for these. These happen when someone creates a panic FUD or fake news may be, which is FOMO. Most of the short-term trading is a pure gamble but in the long run, you can see the implementation and the reflection of that on the price.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 90% chances if a coin is listed in Binance it has a good potential on: May 10, 2021, 04:52:22 PM
Binance doesn't list every other coin, so most of the time if a coin gets listed on Binance then it means that it has some potential or future to survive the market in the future. Although I doubt the recent addition to the exchange which was TLM, which is a game coin, players can mine it by playing the game. Another thing to notice here is that Binance will give a good chance to get the newly listed coin for BNB holders, which in turn increases the trust in investors about BNB.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bought my vitamins with Bitcoin on: May 10, 2021, 01:59:59 PM
Many of the people here are wondering, in fact, I was also, about how the transaction went without a fee. But then I remembered something I did a week ago. It was CoinEx exchange and I transferred some of my CET tokens to a friend who is also on the exchange. I just needed his email id and the transfer was done in seconds. There were no transactional charges or on-chain records of it. It's just one account to another. OP did something similar if am not wrong, but it's not suggested to hold a big amount on a centralized wallet so be careful with that.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: May 10, 2021, 01:46:12 AM
The speculation around Doge is really harsh, that's because the coin doesn't have any purpose of its own. It's a meme coin and pumping or dumping will not happen for a reason. So it can always go back to its previous price at any time without any hint. People buying Doge should know this. It's not like there is any guarantee that it will regain back if it gets dumped hard. Because there is no team or development related to this coin.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could we crowdfund a movie about Satoshi Nakamoto? on: May 09, 2021, 05:19:27 PM
What you are suggesting will be a fictional movie rather than near to something real. There are already many documentaries which you might have seen or check out. They are not Satoshi-centered but related to the birth of bitcoin. There are many projects which do crowdfunding for new movies and I guess they can help out or plan for something like this. Moviebloc MBL is one of them, they already have an OTT platform and it will be easier for these types of projects to make a movie or documentary.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MANY PEOPLE % DOES REALLY SUCCEED ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: May 05, 2021, 05:45:41 PM
When people will stop asking these types of stupid questions. No one knows how much anyone is holding or anyone is trading, therefore no one can tell how many % of people succeded in crypto. People might tell their own story but you cant access the authenticity of it. Anonymity gives the freedom to the user to hold crypto without disclosing them.

If the person who is invested in crypto is patient then he is either succeeded already or will in the future.
48  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can we get Crypto Signals from ? on: May 05, 2021, 04:44:56 PM
Most of us know a lot of groups that provide crypto signals but the thing is you should never listen to them. 99% of them are a scam where they themselves invest first into a coin and then advertise it on the group so that the price will go up. When the price reaches a certain value they sell the coin and make profit. And the last step will be telling the group that they told everyone that the coin will be pumped. It became a trend and there are hundreds or thousands of groups on Telegram.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a GOOD or BAD time to invest? on: May 05, 2021, 03:51:57 PM
Invest only what you can afford to lose. There is nothing like a good or bad time to invest in crypto. Invest only in top coins from the coinmarketcap list. They are comparatively safer than other altcoins, even if their price falls it will get back up sooner or later so you need the patience to hold your investment strong and don't sell when you see a sudden dump. Those happen to make newbie people lose everything. That's all I can suggest right now. The best is to buy and hold BTC in parts and hold them for a long.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in bitcoins for future kids on: May 05, 2021, 02:02:07 AM
This is not new, I know some of my friends have done this in the last bull run. One of my friends bought 2 piece pack of Trezor one for his 2 girls and transferred 0.25 BTC in the correction time. He pledged not to touch those funds and the devices will be given to his girls once they turn 18. I would say that will be the best gift to anyone at the age of 18. Gifting kids with satoshi has been a trend in the past too, saw many videos where parents give Christmas gift with a ledger or trezor.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum giving bitcoin a hard chase on: May 04, 2021, 06:12:17 PM
Ethereum isn't a coin to look down on. Since this year it has performed very well closing in second position undeniably. The fees that is high that investors speculated to pull the importance and relevance down has not worked that way but it has reached a new ATH by climbing to $3,300 and above. We may have entered the altcoins season with the Ethereum continuous run.

+1

Also, check out the fees of an ETH transaction now, it is less than 5$, People might say it's still costly but it used to be 40-50$. This shows that it is adjustable and works according to the situation. The price of ETH is rising and will be on the run till the EIP-1559 update in July. I would say that will be the peak point for Ethereum. Right now it is the time to buy and hold.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [POR]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: May 04, 2021, 05:30:44 PM
lmao cant believe this shitcoin still works or gets pumped

I don't know whether the OP is still around in this forum or not but the project is still working fine. They are trying to implement their product in multiple African countries and you can use ETN in many countries for mobile recharges etc. They have also collaborated with a small task-related company where you get ETN for doing tasks. They suck at marketing and PR but they are trying to do real-world implementation.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn to appreciate the DIP. on: May 04, 2021, 04:53:27 PM
Beginners still have limited experience when the cryptocurrency market goes up and down, so when the market goes down they panic so they sell their assets, in contrast to people who take advantage of this moment they will buy as much as possible when the price is down to sell it at a later date.

Even though the BTC value is dropping sharply, the dominance is not increasing. It means that people who have put their BTC into alts are not turning back their alts as much as they should. So in simple words, BTC hodlers are becoming alt hodlers. Still, a long way to go for alts but these tiny steps or you may say these tiny dips are the foundation for something great in the future when people will not even bother about the dips, they will embrace it by investing more.
54  Other / Archival / Re: Yobit fake trade history on: May 04, 2021, 03:40:57 PM
If you are trying to trade on Yobit then I would suggest you stop it right now and withdraw everything as soon as possible. It's one of the shittiest exchanges there is and its features and promotions are shittier than what they advertise. I used to trade on Yobit in the previous bull run when it was something but then when the bear run came it didn't have anything to hold on to. I have withdrawn everything from then when I felt that it was not safe. It's not just Yobit but the same with every centralized exchange, if you feel that it's not safe then take it out.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now It's Time For All Weak Hands To Drop Their Bitcoins! on: May 04, 2021, 02:12:55 PM
Don't take my words in a negative way but, holding in not that easy, especially when you are from a third world country or have financial issues or just don't have patience. You need a hell of dedication in order to hold for years and survive the world if you don't have a strong backup. I have done holding strategy for a long time and sold only when I didn't have any other option, that's life, cant compete with it.

Hopefully, this time the hodlers will be the last men standing.  Cool
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-sale] Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin on: May 03, 2021, 05:35:58 PM
The current price right now is showing 66$ for SOV and am really happy that I bought it in the early season.
Hopefully, https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/sovryn/ will start showing the data soon. Even Blockfolio has not added SOV yet but I have sent a request to them.

I urge the community to do the same, please. If more people request it then it will be added soon.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will TRX go to new ATH on: May 03, 2021, 03:37:11 PM
Every other coin pumped already but TRX is still trailing behind and not even near its ATH. I was wondering whether today TRX will pump and will get a chance to break even but it's still holding back. Justin Sun used to do a lot of stuff in order to pump the coins but these days, he's not much active in the PR stuff. Frankly speaking, I would just sell if it reaches another ATH because I don't see much potential for it in the future.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Role of Cryptocurrencies in Pandemic Times on: May 03, 2021, 02:37:12 PM
Crypto help me a lot in this pandemic time. I can earn more money from this field, i'm doing bounty / daily trading and in this pandemic time crypto rise so high and almost all big coins reach their ATH. Especially for everyone who struggle to earn money in real life, crypto save their life.

All I could find when I researched is this...
https://app.equilibrium.io/gateway/en/market/Eq

It's one of those projects where you trade them on their website. It's not even on Uniswap yet, may you could find someone whose ready to sell on their telegram channel but it's risky.

I find the OP's words more like a PR stunt than genuine concern in the pandemic but I would say that crypto has been the savior of many in these tough times.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: May 03, 2021, 11:46:36 AM
holding is not always making a lot of money because most of the altcoins are not worth holding. holding bitcoin is the only profitable in the long run.

As for the strategy, it is to keep spending to a minimum and not to try to spend except in emergency situations such as the illness of a close person or others.
Human behavior towards money and financial intelligence is what determines the success of holding.

Totally agree with you.. It's been my mantra for all these years and this alt season, am gonna sell what I don't need or maybe those who don't deserve to be held. I sold some OKB yesterday and Waves is pumping right now so might be its Waves turn today. Utrust has also pumped with some volume but didn't go up as much as I had expected so waiting for that.

I would probably hold BTC, ETH, and USDT for most of my portfolio, and then it will be BNB and maybe some top alts, that's all.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uzbekistan legalizes cryptocurrency transactions on: May 03, 2021, 07:28:32 AM
Legalizing crypto transactions may also include regulations on paying crypto transaction taxes. I believe that governments find the trading volume of cryptocurrency exchanges large enough for them to make a profit.
If Uzbekistan accepts the widespread use of cryptocurrencies in payment for transactions, that is even better.

It is definitely a good sign even though there may be hidden agendas from the government of the country. Uzbekistan is a restricted country, not everyone is free to do everything in it. Also, very little news comes out of it. If the government banks start using crypto for their transactions then it will be a great step ahead for the implementation but if the government wants to put a hold on the country's crypto traders then I guess it will be worse for the community than good.
