41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you secretive about trading currency? on: May 27, 2019, 12:02:30 PM
When people ask, What do you do for a living? I have a full time job, but I also trade crypto-currency.  I do not like telling them about my currency and Bitcoin activities because when I tell people about trading currency online our relationship sometimes changes. They start scheming or they think "I can do that, better than you" and I suspect they want to secretly start trading too.

Does anybody relate to this?
We have both the same characters. I also to have secrets in my trading. I buy coins and sell them at my own risk. I set up my indicators and analysis good only for me. For what? Not because I want to take advantage to others but I want to hush it so that I will not be blamed nor laughed when I lose a lot.
So what if they start trading? They are not going to claim your profits in trading. It is in fact an addition to the crypto market and the credit goes to you if you attract someone towards cryptocurrency trading and speculations. It will also make the crypto less alien and hence you would have an impact on the lives of people who would earn in crypto if they follow you into trading.
God bless you bro, because I see those who are not happy to share trading information with people as being greedy and self-centered. They should even be happy that they are coming to add their money to the marketcap, or are they happy the way the marketcap dropped from $800 billion dollars to $200 billion +.

Is it not now that we really need crypto adoption and awareness that we need to encourage people to trade cryptocurrency, because these are the activities we need to keep cryptocurrency market lively like forex market? So it shouldn’t be something we keep secret for something that does not affect our own income in anyway.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [HELP] I need help and advice on: May 27, 2019, 11:05:20 AM
I really need advice, I am a crypto currency trader and I, feel the self-mistrust that is happening to me now.

so that self-confidence makes me pause in trading, and now I want to ask you for your opinion,
I have a capital of about 1 ethereum and I want a 10% profit every day from the trade that I do.
where is the right exchanger and what coins should I trade. please help and advice.
To get that from ethereum in a day is quite impossible because as of now, the market of ethereum is less volatile, although we are already in uptrend but ethereum doesn’t have much move on a daily basis to get you that.

If the market was volatile, you should be able to really get that if you are scalp trading, because I doubt if one move of ethereum can get to 10% at once per day, but if you consider the number of times it goes low and high in a day, with scalping, you should be able to get that when market is volatile, but for now, I would advise you trade bitcoin on exchanges like binance that has the lowest trading fee and largest trading volumes.
43  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best activities happened this week to read more in crypto world on: May 27, 2019, 10:34:45 AM
Pretty interesting news.  Would this affect the cryptocurrency in any way?  I doubt they will. No new money is coming in.  Besides Bitcoin usually moves the the crypto market and not the other way around.
No money is coming in because we have really not seen any major news in the market that will further encourage new investors to accept cryptocurrency investment. We still have so many rich people out there who are aware of cryptocurrency and most especially bitcoin investment, but are still quite skeptical about their decision.

Until we have great activities like the ones mentioned by op before we can see any further impact, although these activities listed by op are not really enough to cause any stairs, we need more than that, we need things that people will really benefit from, like the dyeing ICO which was among what caused the pump of 2017.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA Coin is sleeping deeply. When to wake up ? on: May 27, 2019, 10:03:57 AM
I bet it will never wake up, probably there will be exit pump and that's it. But at the moment ADA has no value and there aren't news about it.
Any suggestions about it?
You might not see news about them yet but that doesn’t mean they are still not working, blockchian technology is what cannot be fully developed in a short time, as things gets unfold, they will keep overcoming whatever it is that is bringing about their limitations. They are much active in the coin market doesn’t guarantee that they are dead, after all they still stay on top in the market.

When I see any of the projects, I usually set 5 years for them before concluding if they will make it or not, but none of these great projects has spent more than 2 years, so why the rush? They still have more time to function well as they are developing their projects.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Give up in crypto (my experience) on: May 27, 2019, 09:32:55 AM
I have the same experience as yours, I left my job just when the market is growing in 2017, it's a great decision all my coins are in all-time high and I was reaping the profit of my labor and investment, but this is a cycle investors can do it again and again as the potential of the top coin are not yet in it's fullest.
It is not really a bad idea for one to leave a job for what we believe in, but I usually tell people that before you do so and follow other people’s step, there must be a guarantee that whatever we get involved in will yield a very good profit in the long run that will make our leaving of the job justifiable.

Before you left your job, I am sure you must have been certain that your investment are the right ones, which is why we have to ensure that we always invest in projects that has real life working products for our investment not to disappoint us and make us regret ever leaving our job. Well, for me, the only thing I am planning to leave my job for now is trading, because I believe that with the experiences I have gathered and my success so far, it will be worth it.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Coin (BNB) reaches new ATH at $ 31, Binance 2.0 is about to debut? on: May 25, 2019, 06:16:40 AM
The only reason it's pumping is because nobody bought this shitcoin when it was cheap because it's a shitcoin.
Such a typical pump/dump scheme, and I thought we were done with this on this big of scale.
Hahahha, I thought you are newbie, but you are not, I can see you have stayed on this forum for a while and you should know more than this. If we are talking about shitcoins, what qualifies a product to be a shitcoins, because you have not mentioned the facts here.

Binance has real team that are well known to everyone, they have real life working products that people go for from time to time, they have strategies, rewarding system, strong community, exchange platform, they started IEO platform and they are also having their own chain that will compete with Ethereum, so man, when you want to make any comment, make sure you have your facts before telling me BNB is a shitcoin.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 51btc won in a day on: May 24, 2019, 11:59:39 AM
Primedice user (Marcelod4) won in a day 51BTC  and convert to 51BTC to $178,700 <-- awesome wining .

Congratulation Marcelod4

[im g]https://i.imgur.com/gAer4RR.png[/img]
Are you indirectly telling us that Primedice is the best site to win this big lol,i am  just trying to pull out a joke lol but then I am seriously happy for the player and I am feeling tempted to go and try my luck also. I always knew there’s is a great opportunity to become wealthy in gambling but I don’t know when mine will happen, this is the same way my good friend had a change of story few years back on one of the casino sites.

I advise the player to try and do other invest apart from gambling, to put back the money into gambling with the hope of getting more would be a great, this is what some foolish gamblers do, it will be better to invest in Bitcoin  trading and other types of offline investments that are profitable.
LOL. Its possible mate, maybe we should all try out our luck on the site and be hopeful that the type of luck that happened to the player would happen to us all. You don’t even have to advise the player to do other investment; I am so sure he already knows this.

Some who is so smart to win this big, will sure know how to invest money. And investing in Bitcoin is also a very wise suggestion with the bullish trend, it will be a good time to buy and hold.
I would be playing on different sites from now with the hope of also making it this big in gambling. I can’t believe I’ve been playing this game for years and cant boast of 1BTC.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Happy accidents on: May 24, 2019, 11:17:39 AM
Hmm, I haven't consider any major mistake so far when I'm gambling. I guess the worst thing I did is intentionally place a bet on the underdog team during a basketball match (just the local one). Its opponent is leading 1-0 to a best of 3 match but I still did such think because I have a strong feeling that they can tied up despite of being not a well known strong team. Fortunately, I won and able to brag on my friends at the same time Grin.

People always love the underdog and the potential prize you can win is very high Smiley  Imagine if you put money on Leicester City F.C. to win the Premier league a few years back.  They odds were 5000:1 for them to win the title.  You could of won $1million with only a $200 bet.
Maybe no one provides bets at the start of the season to choose who the winner is at the end of the season, even if there is but the underdog team will not be on the list. Anyway, betting on each match by choosing the underdog team will also get high odds and if you are lucky then it will also make you get happy accidents.
Then it is not an accident at all because accident will be extra or unwanted attempts that can result in rather win if you are not expecting any win or lose if you are expecting a win. Whether it is the start of game, middle of the game or end of the game you can win only by your luck if you are playing a luck-based game. On the other hand, gambler wins easily if they play strategic game with tricks and strategies they use while playing.
Thanks for clarifying these. I think some people do not understand the difference between common mistakes in gambling and accidental gambling.  And as for winnings made in gambling, I am satisfied to see that you mentioned that strategic games can only be won by trick and strategies. Emphasizing on the word, strategic games is what makes the sentence worthy. Not all gambling can be won by trick, maybe games like  poker

There are more of other luck based games in gambling than games that require skills. In short I would say that over 50% of games in gambling are based on luck, so there is no point for anyone wasting their time energy on learning strategies for winning in gambling.
I am sorry to say this but I think you should stop confusing readers and contradicting yourself, You have mentioned rightly that 50% of gambling games are luck based and what happens to the rest percentage, which means it would require skills, so advising players not to learn strategies in gambling is completely wrong.

This is the reason or many people gamble carelessly because they are just there to try their luck and in a short while they are already confused because of lack of direction and next thing we see is addiction. Gambling is a game of strategy, for every type of gambling, there is a strategy to either winning or avoiding loses.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOW I BECAME A GAMBLER on: May 24, 2019, 10:22:41 AM
That day i made double of my money and i promised myself never to stop gambling

Usually, this is how it starts for those who will turn out to become addicted  Grin

The first day you will playing, I don't know the spirit behind the gambling and it will give you much profit so that you will come to play again and either you will eventually become a success story or a coronic addict with nothing to show for it.
There must be a mystery behind this. Everyone who gambles for the first time wins, I always taught it happened to me by accident but I have read and seen people who have also witnessed this and I feel the plan is to lure players to stay permanently and if not careful become addicted.

Its not always easy to say no to the urge of continuous play after enjoying the first luck in gambling, I remember how I also made up my mind never to stop gambling after I made my first win in gambling, it was so huge and unbelievable to me and after sometime I lost it all back to gambling,  I completely lost it all to the extent of looking for more money to play. It was at a point I advised myself.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade? on: May 24, 2019, 09:15:13 AM
How do you trade?Use a wallet to trade or use leverage to trade
These two doesn’t even relate to me, the last one mentioned is just a tool in our trading platform that gives us more benefit over our trade while wallet is where you keep your coins. The simple rule of trade is just to buy low and sell high, and the time interval you wish to do this depends on your own decision, strategy and market condition.

To successful start buying low and selling high, you have to go through some trading platforms where you can see the pairs you wishes to trade and that can be through an exchange like Binance or a forex broker that trade cryptocurrency. So what you have said is not clear enough to me.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading on: May 24, 2019, 08:04:43 AM
Hey. I'm Mark. Shortly about myself: quit my major job to earn my way by trading and it exceeded my expectations. What I got from it that everything is possible, guys.

Here will be the deals I make, some of the stuff to continue the learning curve and anything I found interesting to share with you.
Disclaimer: None of this is financial advice, do your own research, share and earn.

[ 12 years in trading, 4 years in crypto trading ]

Here's one of them:
http://a.radikal.ru/a14/1905/c3/5b9843f1ae63.jpg

Each deal is a piece of art
The decision you have made to quit your job for something you have passion for and have learn overtime is not a bad idea, we just have to be sure that we have learnt enough to start making profit before quitting that job, at least it is far better to quite job for trading than to quit job for bounty hunting.

There is always guarantee that one can make money on a daily, weekly or monthly basis in trading provided one already has all the knowledge, skills and strategy to make the trade successful. This is only advisable for those who have been practicing trade for a long time and not for newbies I think.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: May 24, 2019, 07:25:07 AM
Do not be easily affected by a particular article that makes us think negatively about something (in this case bitcoin) maybe if you try to think twice before doing something, it could be bait so we sell the bitcoin that we have in cheap prices while on the other hand the newsmaker buys our bitcoin at a cheap price too, that can be a big advantage.
Using FUD news to control the market is even becoming obsolete now as most investors, both the old ones and the new ones have learn this tactics being used by whales to accumulate bitcoin and some other cryptocurrency below the market value by causing a panic buy.

Since bitcoin has been finding it hard to break $8000, if it were to be before, most people would have started panic because of these difficulty and start selling off at that point to quickly take profit, but people already know that some whales might be the ones just trying to manipulate the market and stopping bitcoin from increase so more people can start dumping, but yet, the bulls are still active.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobs Created by the Blockchain & Bitcoin on: May 24, 2019, 06:54:56 AM
You did not mention bounty hunters, there are so many of us here, I am here as bounty hunters and it's one of the best jobs I have over the years, you get to stumble great projects not only profitable and rewarding but also fulfilling, finally a small guy like me doing something for a soon to be great projects, but of course there are so many scam projects too, it's one of the risk.
This is one area blockchain technology has really change many people’s lives, majority of us who never imagine that we could get some few dollars genuinely over the internet by working other than these freelancer companies that takes money to give you a job that is never there.

Bounty hunting is a very easy job that demands nothing from one than one’s time  and rewards in a big time, that is if we participate on projects that are great and have working product. Although bounty nowadays is no longer profitable as much as it usually use to be, but I am sure with the invention of IEO, there will be  another chance in future for hunting again.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the real value of bitcoin and cryptocurrency on: May 24, 2019, 06:23:01 AM
We can not find the real value of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, because such a value does not exist. Bitcoin, like other types of cryptocurrency, have a price only for a certain period of time. This is due to the fact that the price of cryptocurrency is formed exclusively on the ratio of supply and demand, and these parameters are never constant.
I feel the only time we will really know the value of bitcoin is when supply becomes very limited of exhausted, by that time, the law od demand and supply will no longer play out on BTC and I dint think hype too will work again, but the circulating currency will determine the real value of BTC.

So for now, it means we will not know the real value of BTC other than the once we are being shown on exchanges until later in future when demands becomes far higher than supply, then the real value of bitcoin will show its face because there will be very little movement in the price of bitcoin then.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where's FOMO at? Tom Lee on: May 23, 2019, 06:10:29 PM
The bitcoin price recovered pretty fast (it's currently around 7800 USD) from the recent price crash and maybe Tom Lee is on the right track. We might be heading towards 10K USD,which is amazing.I though that we will reach 10K somewhere around the summer of 2020.
Anyway,I'm not that enthusiastic.I new price crash might happen anytime soon.
I see that right now most of people expecting BTC price to drop, wich looks reasonable to me too, but the market usually do the opposite. In cryptocurrency market, we must expect the unexpected.
I think it is irrelevant what Tom Lee says, because of fact that he was mostly wrong with his predictions. No one could ever know which price will be next day.

As long as this market is a speculative one, people will always have a wrong prediction, they are nit computer or super beings to know exactly what the future hold and tome lee is just an ordinary analyst like us, he is not using any other special tool to speculate other than the one we all do too.

So, I dint think people should crucify him that much, he is simply a believer of bitcoin like us and would do everything possible to create all the hypes necessary for bitcoin to continue gaining a very strong value.

There will always be a drop in price of BTC at any point, we can just be leaning how to take profit from all these drops and increase instead of just speculating in an unpredictable market.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Going Back to $7,000? on: May 23, 2019, 05:27:28 PM
It's really possible because the market has been really surprising. It could rise up and go down easily and $7k is so near to its current value. We could expect all the best from Bitcoin but we can also expect the worst at the same time.
The market is volatile so this possibility could happen anytime.
Well, it wouldn’t really be a bad idea If the market can go to $7000 maybe that will be the FOMO point Tom lee is talking about. At this point that the market really finding it hard to fully break further barrier, we need a pint that will serve as big opportunity and create a panic buy, but since we are already in bullish trend, no matter the dip, there will always be a sharp increase that will be surprising to us all.

Whatever the fluctuation we have, I believe greatly that this momentum has the ability to get us to $10k by the end of July, so I am not so much concerned if Bitcoin stabilizes on 8k for now or back to $7k, my target is $10k by July.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price and Binance on: May 23, 2019, 04:40:56 PM
How many people think the price increase has been triggered by the fact that Binance has stopped withdrawals?
If so what happens to the price when Binance allows withdrawals again?
Binance has suspended all deposits and withdrawals as they have to conduct a thorough security review that will 'include all parts of our systems and data, which is large'.
Binance wil reopen deposits and withdrawals on Wednesday May 15, at around 11AM UTC. Trading will be halted for about 8 hours during the system upgrade.
I don’t get what you just said here, you are talking as if the event has not passed already, you are commenting in the 22nd and still referring to 15th like it has not happened, if they scheduled to open reopen the withdrawal on 15th, which means they must have done it by now, and I still don’t see any effect of it on bitcoin value, I don’t know why people would just believe that this type of thing that happened to Binance will have any effect of the bitcoin price. Is it a product or is it whales, or is the even an investors? Reopening their system to withdrawal will in no way affect the price of bitcoin.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $9,000 by the end of the year on: May 23, 2019, 03:51:34 PM
well, thank you, i want to subscribe to your prediction at this moment.
most bitcoin users may find it difficult to go along with you because the have been so disappointed by many predictions that has failed. a lot of prediction that last year december or early 2019 will be better and it wasn't better at all. but there are signs of improvement now.
There is no point subscribing to his prediction because his prediction seems to be a little bit far behind, we have not even reached middle of the year and bitcoin is already heading towards spiking even above the $9000.

I believe that within the next 2 to 3 weeks, bitcoin will successfully break the barrier of $8k fully and continue to sustain it till we have more momentum to push it father to $9000 which I believe that it won’t be long before it happens. So op needs to go back to his prediction and see that by that end of the year, we will already be thinking of how we can break $15000 trend.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The perfect solution to scam in the crypto space on: May 23, 2019, 11:53:56 AM
a sufficient solution to implement, the problem is that there must be an institution to establish an audit body,
and for the financing to be calculated carefully, whether it is independent or multiple parties.
The only institution that can successfully establish this body would be government institution because I dint see much unity among the ICO users for them to come together and establish one because they are being blindfolded with competition, so they are better in competing with each other than coming together as one to save the ICO industry.

So I guess we still have to wait till we get regulations from government for these body to be successfully established that will look deeply into this ico scam, but before that , we also can try a much as possible to eliminate these scammer by just doing our own research very well before promoting any project.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: May 23, 2019, 11:22:40 AM
https://news.yahoo.com/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-211446327.html
What can we do to help stop these from happening and getting worse?
I think government intervention will mean a lot, although that is if cryptocurrency is still decentralized, atleast to maintain its sole purpose and vitality.
What i am saying invariably is if those exchanges can be fully registered with the government and every necessary document submitted in order to curtail any future occurrence of theft, the better.
Then all projects should also be under a regulatory body to avoid scam.
I think so, the problem is that there are many worthless and shitprojects that are circulating in the market, and investor who cannot distinguish them become victims. we need like a third party or regulator, where filtering projects, and listed them which are recommended with strict conditions, so investors can choose quality projects
The same method the third party will use to distinguish this projects is the same method we can also use too, provided those projects are being run on decentralized system, there is no physical method that can be use like the way IPO and STO is being ran, at least those one must have a physical location where government can directly verify their existence before approving, but for a decentralized system, I think the only method is just doing thorough research on them over the internet.

Moreover, we already have this being regulated internally, that is why we have exchanges who has taken it upon themselves to regulate it by coming up with IEO platform, so I think we investors should just focus on investing more on IEO projects for now.
