After seeing the result, now I don't really expect France and England will become the champion.
I have lost faith with those clubs. France and England are so dreadful to watch; Moreover, despite having a superb squad, their performances are not even worth seeing, and it seems likely that France and England will exit the Euros in the round of 16.

The best three countries are Spain, German and Portugal.

I think Spain might become the champion, they're playing as a team instead of relying on star players. It's true they have Rodri, Yamal and Pedri, but the rest of them aren't. Both German and Portugal are still dominated with star players, but I'm happy to see German now playing like the same German I know in the past.
Despite using a large number of young players, Spain's chemistry was impressive. I would rather name Spain as the top title candidate since they are playing the ball flawlessly, have great passing accuracy, and show good team effort. And it seems spain is going to meet germany/portugal in the final.

Xavi changed Barcelona's style, it's true, I haven't seen Barcelona concentrate so much on defensive play before and it gave results, but Xavi's strategy was lacking in attack and I don't agree that he didn't have a good striker because Lewandowski scored a lot in Bayern and he remained the same player, he just didn’t have such good support in Barcelona and therefore his performance became worse. It is quite possible that Flick's strategy could influence Barcelona, so he is in no hurry to buy new players, but first wants to deal with what he has now.
The strategy used by Xavi focuses too much on defense, they also often play the ball in the defensive area and spend more time there. Meanwhile the attack was somewhat less effective, Barcelona had difficulty creating opportunities, which made Lewandowski goal productivity drop drastically. There will be differences in Barcelona game because Hansi Flick will modify the strategy previously used by Xavi, he will try to get Barcelona used to the strategy that has been applied at Bayern Munich. Xavi legacy squad can still be relied on, but Hansi Flick needs several additional players who can increase Barcelona attacking power, making it easier for strikers to score goals.
You stated that Barcelona concentrates too much on defense, but the reality is the reverse. I also disagree with your statement that Barcelona's offense is somewhat less effective, because the reality is that Barcelona has weaker defenses but has developed a formidable attacking line.
22/23

23/24

The pictures above are Barcelona's statistics at 23/24 and 22/23, and they will help us gather solid data on how Barcelona has improved its performance.

Look at Barcelona's growth, and they were even better on their offensive line, but they are dreadful defensively. So, what you claimed is incorrect, and Barcelona is not entirely focused on their defensive line.

I bet some of us have dreamt about a crypto gamefi project like Modern Combat, PUBG, or at least a game that allows you to have fun while earning tokens, especially during a market downturn.

So, I tried checking out several projects with similar narratives when I stumbled upon MetalCore, a free-to-play sci-fi MMO game where players fight in mechs and vehicles on the planet Kerberos. It features PvP, PvE, crafting, faction choices, and player-driven guilds (Baronies).

The in-game economy uses the $MCG token, and the game is developed by experienced industry veterans. Well, I feel like we all need to calm our nerves during this present market state, and what better way to do that than with a game? What are your thoughts on this?

I saw their preview on Epic Games, and the game doesn't look like it would be enjoyable to play. I think the close fight part of the game isn't very good, but that's probably because it hasn't come out yet. Also, you're not right when you say that people have dreamed about the FPS sci-fi idea.

There are a lot of crypto gamefi out there that are more enjoyable to play. Have you ever heard of Nyan Heroes? Nyan appeared to be even better than Metalcore. Even though Metal Core hasn't come out yet, I think the gameplay will be dull, and it makes me think of HALO.

You said that Metalcore was made by experienced game creators, but the gameplay looks so bad. Finally, I don't hold high expectations for metalcore games.

With the plans Arsenal are putting in place in this season's transfer window, they are hoping to win their first premier league tittle after so many years. And with that in mind, they are looking at making four major signings that can help them actualise that dream, and those positions are in the attack, midfield, defence, and the wing especially the right wing where saka plays. I hope they are able to win the league from Mancity come next season because last season, they were very close to winning it,but City still did what they usually do toward the ending part of the season to be able to grab the tittle again.
Arsenal's transfer plans sound pretty damn good. But words are cheap, guy. The game is played on paper

Man City's got Haaland. The guy's an absolute beast in front of goal, a scoring machine. Their lineup also features outstanding world-class capability. They're not just ready for next season, they're ready to dominate

I'd love to see Arsenal finally break their title drought. I would truly do. But City's got the experience, they've got the depth, and they've got the consistency. Even in cases when they are lacking important players, they have repeatedly shown that they can function under pressure. Until Arsenal can show me resilience and success when it matters, I'll stick with City. They're the champions for a reason

Arsenal had everything they needed to win this season, even mistakes from Manchester City, but alas it didn't help them and hardly ever will, because as soon as they can theoretically relax a little, they do it for real and make mistakes that allow their opponents to move further up the table. I have no passion for this team, so I'm not surprised by their achievements

Arsenal has dominated the EPL five times in total since two decades ago, yet they have consistently come up empty-handed. No doubt, people were getting upset with Arsenal's performance.

And again, arsenal's mistakes were worse than Manchester City's last season, despite the fact that they conceded fewer goals than City, but they lost the trophy once again. and it appears Arsenal was cursed in the title race against City. In the end, Arsenal too frequently bottled the trophy.

Ironically, people expected arsenal to win the trophy, but were disappointed with the outcome. Some even thought Arsenal was like a fallen elephant.

Atalanta are now interested in Nicolo Zaniolo, who played for Aston Villa on loan last season and failed to live up to expectations. It turned out that Zaniolo is not at Premier League level. Galatasaray were expecting to earn a serious fee for him, but it looks like that won't happen. Zaniolo can continue his career in Serie A. Figures like 20-25 million Euro are just a dream. He has already missed Euro 2024, an important showcase, due to injury. If a 15 million Euro offer comes in, it looks like Galatasaray will let the player go.
Although Atalanta is interested, Fiorentina is also quite close to signing him, and Zaniolo is ready to finish his move to Fiorentina right away. The player and his agent are now in talks with Fiorentina about 2.5 million euros loan for one season. Fiorentina could then make the deal permanent in the summer of 2025 for about 12 - 13 million euros; Therefore, which is true? I really feel Zaniolo will be joining Fiorentina.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: June 25, 2024, 02:56:58 AM
The new structure delivers more matches, but UEFA is also milking the players into playing longer than the previous version. The new format of UCL is going to be even more taxing for club players because they will be playing more matches, and this system has already been applied in football management. I was also pretty confused about how to rotate my players in this format because of the very busy schedules on my football manager team.
UEFA will be benefited mostly from this new format of Champions League. They will milk money from televisions, clubs and players in next seasons. A next season, 2024 - 2025 will not be too controversial but one season after that, 2025 - 2026, will potentially cause more problems and controversy. In a year with World Cup 2026, players will face with high risk of exhaustion and injuries because of new format in Champions League.
That is a UEFA habit. Once they believe they have not received enough money, they change the format of the competition to make it even more complicated in the hopes of earning more revenue.

National teams will have more reasons to complain about that format because many star players will not be ready with best fitness for World Cup 2026. This new format will make that issue worse than previous World Cups.
Good point, National teams will have valid reasons to complain to UEFA about the busy schedules of their players, but I highly doubt Caferrin will listen to complaints from national clubs. Alexandre Caferrin has ignored any complaints from coaches at major EU football clubs.
Despite receiving numerous complaints, Alexandre Caferrin is unlikely to change the format, and we may continue to use it for a decade or more.

What a drama there was in the Croatia - Italy match. Thanks to the last minute of extra time, Italy prevented Croatia from leaving the groups with a last-gasp goal.

Croatia did not even understand what they were facing at that moment, it was very strange because they were not expecting the referee to finish the match and they were focused on what the Italy team did. Modric missed a penalty in this match, but he made up for it with the goal he scored a few minutes later.
Still, Modric's missed penalty could enable Croatia to qualify for the round of sixteen. Modric's failing penalty cost Croatia a spot in the round of sixteen; thus, that is the most disappointing outcome of his performance. Croatia performed poorly and missed the round of sixteen. Moreover, they repeat it again by letting a goal go in the last seconds.
Modric's single goal meant nothing because he could score two. After the loss against italy, Modric failed to bring his national club to fight against Switzerland, which already qualified.

For Croatia, Donaruma and Calafiore were nightmares, and these men were main actors from italy that prevented Croatia from moving forward in the round of sixteen. At last, Modric has to leave his national football team with a poor record after Croatia lost against Italy in a dramatic game.

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just tap on your mobile and get rich! What is the main purpose? on: June 24, 2024, 04:58:33 AM
The honest truth is that one cant become rich just by tapping on their screens but on the other hand it can be a very good source of income .I know many people who make around $1500k to $2000k max . Others make lesser but at the end of the day it was a win for anyone one participated in the program so there is no need to give it such much negativity .
Source of income? You're obviously joking, right? A good income from tapping your phone may only occur once out of tens of projects you have worked on. People with a lot of money were clearly buying at the bottom. Consider how notcoin's price increased fourfold from its initial listing.

I'm not sure if someone will be able to make hundreds of thousands, or perhaps millions of dollars by doing tap-tap. Honestly, I don't think it's possible.

The majority of Tap Tap Event participants from Notcoin received roughly $150.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: June 24, 2024, 04:29:39 AM
As the price of bitcoin has increased, the price of ethereum coin has not increased in comparison. Right now is the best time to hold Ethereum Coins as it will definitely be ready to give you the maximum amount of benefits when invested. Because there is a long wait for any investment, so be patient by investing and surely you will get the maximum benefit.

Any coin pumping is preceded by dumping, as the position we are in is a pre-bull market moment. So it is normal to dump Altcoin market along with Bitcoin market at this time. So it is best to invest in the present to build yourself a mountain of wealth in the future, because a person who invests in this dumping market will surely experience huge gains in the pumping market.

Still, individuals have no idea how long the bearish market will stay; therefore, they have to be calmly waiting for the positive trend to arrive, which might develop in the next years. The bitcoin dump is a popular explanation why the price of altcoins has plummeted, and this is not surprising; however, I must acknowledge that despite the bitcoin dump, the price of Ethereum has remained quite stable.

I'm seeing how stable the Ethereum price is after ETF approval. It's because I have a few ethereum in my wallet and have used the rest to stake on the LRT staking platform.

The market continues to rise and fall, making it difficult to forecast its path. Finally, using Fibonacci to DCA the market remains the best option.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: June 24, 2024, 03:24:56 AM
Oh the thread is up.
Waiting impatiently to see how it will be the new Champions League.

Reading the new format I already hate it, the only good news is that we can see more games but it will be a shock to everyone who didn't follow the change of rules they did.
A new format of Champions League will bring more matches that are opportunities for UEFA to get more money and strongest clubs will have more income. There will be chance for small clubs to join Champions League but I don't see potential to reduce wealth gap between biggest clubs and small clubs. This new format will increase gaps in wealth among rich and poor clubs, not make it better.

After some seasons with this new format, we will recognize this impact with real data, not only prediction like now.

My impression after playing the new format on Football Manager is that if the previous format is still better than this new one; the new format is far too complicated and tiresome. Alexandre Caferrin sees football players as a money machine, and I strongly disagree with this new format. And last, UCL may not be so attractive because clubs often use their secondary squad.

Chiesa may leave Juventus too.
According to rumors he has refused or not refuse the renew of his contract.

Juventus wanted a "bridge" contract extension for 1 year, he wants a long new deal for a lot of money.
The parts will talk about it after the end of the Eurocup, but if they can't find a deal he may leave for free in one year.

The best solution is to get a new deal or to be sold this year so the club can take some money, Bayern is interested.

From what I know, chiesa has been closely associated with Roma's move; yet, there hasn't been much further information on this matter. Once more, the most recent updates have come from Manchester United and Juventus, as, according to sources, Manchester United is considering swapping Mason Greenwood with Chiesa.
Manchester United is continuing negotiations with Juventus on this prospect. I think Chiesa will not be visiting Bayern as Bayern has not shown any activity towards Chiesa. The old lady should either switch or sell him; giving him another contract extension is horrible.
Switching Chiesa with Mason Greenwood is also a viable option. I have no doubt Chiesa will be joining United next season.

Germany managed to score a golal in extra time.
This was a vital point for them since also Spain will probably end 1st on its group, Germany positioning themself in 1st position have managed to avoid the game against Spain in the 1st elimination stage.

They will now probably face Italy or Croatia instead.

Facing Spain soon is quite risky for the team hosting the competition. Italy and Croatia are way easier than Spain in my opinion. Germany was expected to end this stage first and both of them, Germany and Switzerland, to move to the next stage.
Hungary won as I expected Scotland and could move to the next level too. That was an important victory for them.

I do not understand what are you talking about. Germany could not get to Spain in the 1/8 because the second place in Group A plays with the second place in Group B. Spain took first place in Group B ahead of schedule, so such a meeting was impossible. Now Germany will play with the second place in Group C, which of course looks better than a potential game with Italy.
Germany is not going to encounter Italy in the round of 16, but its opponents in Group C will be the second-place finishers, most probably Denmark or England. It is safe to assume Italy won't face Germany because it plays against Switzerland in the upcoming round. Italy avoids Germany in the round of 16, Italy is so darn lucky; otherwise, England seems strong enough for Germany.

The tap tokens listed below are also becoming popular, similar to hamster kombat.

1. BLUM
2. Pixeltap
3. Tapswap

There is a Switzerland-Germany match tonight, Germany has guaranteed to advance from the group. A draw is enough for both teams in this match, if Switzerland wins, they can advance from the group as leaders.
Switzerland has also guaranteed to advance from the group. Let's see how the match ends.
Germany will not hold on to demolish Switzerland. Germany is going to win the game with a clean sheet, I guess. Regarding the end consequence, neither Germany nor Switzerland will be particularly sympathetic to each other. And again, before Germany participates in the round of 16, the game against Switzerland can turn into an excellent practice match for rudiger's team.

Germany and Switzerland are already in the safe zone; therefore, i see no justification for Germany and Switzerland holding themselves from going all in this game.

Nico Williams is rumoured with Arsenal recently. What do you think about a potential transfer?

Honestly I really like him. He is quite talented and effective on one-on-ones. He is a deadly left-winger for sure.  Smiley  He is only 21 as well which is just great for Arsenal. You know how much they are into bringing this kind of young talents to the team. He was like an assist machine last season and contributed well with goals too (8 goals, 19 assists in 37 games).

However Arsenal already has Trossard and Martinelli. Nico Williams should definitely be used on the left to get more efficiency. I wonder what kind of changes Arteta will make in case of signing him. Maybe he might try Nico on the right anyway to compare and then decide.

If Nico Williams comes to Arsenal, it is likely that he will be Arteta's first choice for a starter because with these statistics it would be a shame that his talent would be hidden on the bench. I think if Arsenal are really interested in him then they should bring him in and his release clause is still within their reach.

Apart from that, there are other rumors that Chelsea are also very interested in Nico Williams considering that their main target, Michael Olise, chose to join Bayern Munich. I think Chelsea also have the same opportunity here and it will definitely be very easy for them to redeem their release clause. Instead of continuing to rely on Mudryk on the left side, Chelsea would be better off looking for a replacement and Nico Williams is considered very suitable for that position. Well, it looks like we will see competition between these two teams from London to fight for Nico Williams. Smiley

It is obvious that EPL clubs can buy Nico Williams's release clause easily, but the important issue is whether he fully agrees to leave Bilbao. I've heard that Bilbao was not interested in selling him. There are so many Premier League clubs that aren't battling for him.

-Chelsea
-Liverpool
-Arsenal

I'm still expecting more large teams to join the race to get him from Bilbao, and I recall Xavi naming Nico Williams as his priority target. Will Flick also be interested in recruiting him from Bilbao?

Finally, the public was startled by Olise's decision, and he is extremely close to signing a contract to join Bayern Munich. It appeared that Bayern was not strongly linked to Olise's next destination before, and this deal was never foreseen.

He is making a career mistake that he will not like in few years because he will be forgotten. Why will you leave the premier league to a farmers league when you are at the top of your game and have many premier league clubs inquiring to sign you. It is not some small clubs that you could say is the reason why you are going for Bayern Munich but they are top teams that can help you win trophies and also create more awareness for you. You can not be playing for the clubs that had interest in you and you will not have the media on you. Olise would had been more appreciated in the premier league because there is competition in the league and you will have more playing time but I can only think about the money that it could be his reason for choosing to sign for Bayern Munich but I wish you well in his career.

Agreed, but you forgot to mention if he will be guaranteed to play in the Champions League. I see this as an advantage when Olise plays for Munich, but the competition to get into the starting lineup will be fierce, and we don't know how long Kompany will be in Munich.
Olise must think it twice, and it appears that he is in a hurry to decide his fate.

To be honest, I'm very skeptical of Olise's future if he moves there. And again, i consider the possibility that Bayern Munich will fire Kompany in the middle of the season, which will have an impact on Olise's career at the club. In conclusion, Olise's decision to leave the Palace and join Bayern Munich was a bad one.

I'd prefer him to step up while remaining in the Premier League.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market seems in correction mood on: June 22, 2024, 10:49:33 AM
Actully the current correction in the crypto market, where altcoins and Bitcoin have seen a significant drop of 15% to 40%, can be attributed to multiple factors. Market corrections are natural after substantial gains, as investors often take profits, leading to temporary dips. moreover, the anticipation of Bitcoin halving next week could be causing volatility, as traders speculate on future price movements. Geopolitical events, such as the Iran-Israel conflict, might also be contributing to market instability, as uncertainty typically drives investors to safer assets. Overall, a combination of these factors is likely influencing the current market downturn.

The crazier part is that the influencers are still making it like this is just a dip and so they keep telling thier audience there is a signal to pump. The audiences though hare not believe this is a correction that will dip below $60k. But if I am to look at it in the longer time frame, I think it will actually. Maybe even below $50k if my speculation comes true.

Why are you so surprised by it? That's how influencers made their money by duping the people who saw them as role models, and yes, the stupid people who were constantly duped by influences must also be blamed.
The craziest thing is that people are completely unaware of this, and they continue to follow any orders from their favorite influencers; However, there may still be some legit influencers who did not deceive their followers. In the end, retail investors will always fall victim to crazy influences and whales.

Bitcoin price movement is difficult to predict, but I believe it will fluctuate between $66k and $60k. Again, be cautious. Finally, stable token holders can take advantage of Bitcoin's bearish trend.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop Fatigue: Have We Seen the Last of the Free Money Era? on: June 22, 2024, 09:28:04 AM
I remember getting lots of free money via airdrops during the 2017/18 blocksize war. I claimed so much momey via the airdropped BCH, BTG plus various smaller shitforks like Bitcoin Diamond. I don’t think there will be another time like that again but if there is, I’m here to claim the free money.

There isn't a free lunch anymore. The time to get a free lunch has already passed for so long. These days, we enter the era when your contribution will determine the size of your reward. The developers must also be selective in rewarding the community.

I see an airdrop as a free lance. Time is moving forward, and ultimately the only winner is someone who contributed to the project/ecosystem.

As long as the reward is worthy given the time and money I lost, I am good.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 22, 2024, 07:58:23 AM
Yes, like it or not, the history of the Premier League has changed, the era has changed. In the past, Man United was the only club that really dominated the EPL, it cannot be denied that Man United had even won 20 EPLs, followed by Liverpool and Arsenal. But that was their era.

but for now, at least in the last 7 years, Man City has dominated the EPL champions. As you said, 6 of the 7 Premier League championships have been won by Man City. Only in 2019/2020, Liverpool took over the cup by becoming the top standing at that time. And Man City at that time was in 2nd position.

Premier League Winners:
https://www.marca.com/en/football/premier-league/winners.html

So it is undeniable that Man City's progress since 2018 has developed very significantly, yes, the change of club owner is also one of the reasons so that they can optimize the purchase of players who are indeed very talented.

For example, if someone still underestimates Man City and says that the EPL position can easily be taken over by another club, then that is not entirely true. It's possible, yes possible. but not ha; The easy one. Because, they will continue to compete. We have seen how fierce the competition between Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool is this season, it is really tight. Therefore, we definitely admit that the EPL is a league that is often said to be the fiercest and tightest because many top clubs come from this league. It's just that, for now, other leagues have actually started to increase again.

A strange conclusion from fairly simple data to analyze. It seems to me that what we see should be assessed as: the Premier League was unable to protect its business from a fraudster and turned into a farmers' league. If you don’t think about “historical” things, then the Premier League is a dull league where the champion is known in advance, then the fact that other clubs rise and fall creates a certain dynamics and the illusion of interestingness does not negate the fact that the Premier League has lost its main advantage.

I think that is happening with all of major leagues, not just the English Premier League. Except for Series A, which is a non-farmer league. EPL has done their best for this, however it appears that they did nothing. Manchester City has won several Premier League trophies due to their strength and consistency.
There is nothing wrong here because Manchester City earned their trophies through legitimate ways. But still, the EPL is the league with the most viewers.Roll Eyes

Netherlands is really unlucky, they should be won, fuck the referee.

Dumfries didn't block Maignan's eyesight, Maignan can see the ball, but he know he can't save it because the ball is too fast. After Simons scored, Maignan immediately looking to Dumfries and shouting the referee if it's offside.

Hopefully they can win against Austria.

What an unfortunate day for us.

First, Portugal vs. FIFA.
Second,  Netherlands versus FIFA.

The law of the game ruined Netherlands's day since the referee utilized it to declare Simon's goal offside.

I absolutely agree with you; however, Maignan was savvy enough to use Dumfries as a scapegoat, and I know many people are still arguing this right now. In the end, it will not influence the referee's final decision.
