I think bitcoin is very influential in the world of cryptocurrency.
Most of other coins are traded only against bitcoin but there are few exceptions like LTC and ETH which also have their own fiat pairs and exchanges like coinbase support direct buy feature for ETH and same as bitpanda they also offer direct buying of ETH, LTC with EURO. Many panic investors need to get out from the market which they are right now so that bitcoin will be held by only true believers and long time holders and market will have more stable growth.

Satoshi might never sell his holding or will not be able to sell because I don't think satoshi is still alive or have access to his previous addresses with large holdings. It is true that market is not matured enough to absorb huge sell off. Even a sell off of few hundred of BTC can easily cause panic on market which starts a series of dump. |

Before registering to this platform I like to get few of my question answered. I couldn't find FAQ page on site so asking here.
1. What is withdrawal limit for non-verified users?
2. Which countries are restricted?
3. Will there be any bans when account will be accessed from different countries if trader keep moving different countries within few months period?

They only list hot wallet addresses of few exchanges and I don't think those address are getting updated regularly. Also no any exchange will expose their cold wallet address or even hot wallet address because of possible risk associated with it. |

Ethereum might move towards POS before bitcoin will start to make changes for POS.
If there will be only few bitcoin miners or the cost of mining get high because of legal restrictions and energy cap than it might help price to get pump. Talking about network stability, I think there are still many countries where plenty of hydroelectricity is available however cost per unit is high compared to china.

Here is simple calculation of their mining contract for ETH;
1. With genesis mining 40 MH/s which cost you $1520 and it will run for 2 years. With current difficulty and price you will mine around 2.16 ETH in 24 months which is equal to $1830 so you made $310 after waiting for 2 years and you can't get your money back in middle.
2. If you simply buy ETH worth of $1520 you will get 1.8 ETH at current price so basically you will gete almost same amount of ETH with cloud mining waiting for 2 years and just buying it right now. Also you can make an exit and take out profit/loss whenever you want.
So mining with genesis mining is not profitable and it is also quite risky.

I do not think it is a big threat to crypto market, they probably hold the same amount in their bank accounts otherwise that would be disaster.
They are not transparent. Company supposed to be doing full audit of their accounts left in middle. USDT token got drained out recently by hacker but they recovered it with private forking or something like that. Nobody knows how much money they actually hold in their hidden bank accounts. If their banks fuc*** up them than all USDT holder will get fuc**8 up. Be cautious about USDT and don't depend fully upon it.. |

USDT is supposed to be USD backed token but there are many suspicion around this coin and accusations against them about printing out more USDT token to artificially pump bitcoin price during corrections which are not backed by any real USD in their bank accounts. Also USDT is supposed to be linked with bitfinex exchange which itself is not quite secure platform and have some dark histories.
I mostly trade against USD or EUR rather than against USDT token. But you can use them temporarily to lock profit on your daily trades.

Hi btlkers , as mentioned in the title ; Binance has lowered the withdrawal fees for around -50℅ ie it was 100k sat but now it's just 50k sat .
I think it is a nice path from'em toward the trading community .
Still that 50k sat fee on bitcoin withdrawal is high because there is almost no any congestion on bitcoin network and tx with even 7k sat can get confirmed within next block. For the median transaction size of 225 bytes, this results in a fee of 6,750 satoshis. |
