41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A11pros dropping internet on: May 16, 2024, 04:13:01 PM
If anyone knows of a way to view an event log for Innosilicon miners that would be amazing.
I have a brand new switch arriving today, so hoping that may help.

I don't know for this unit how to access the logs but for old units of Innosilicon you can access it by typing this on the browser "IP/logs" or "IP/log".
Let's see if it would work but if not maybe the units need to flash with older firmware because the later firmware doesn't have this feature or you might need an innomonitor tool but the problem is the site looks dead.

I found another source where to download but I never heard of them I don't think it is a good idea if I share it here it may not be safe.

Here's the link where I found Innomonitor tool below

42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Demo account on: May 16, 2024, 03:50:43 PM
Trading without trying your skill is pretty risky I've been there at first I thought that I knew Bitcoin but when trading on live trading with money I feel fear and sometimes greediness and the result of every trade I make are loss instead of a profit.
If you want to overcome greediness and fear you should always need to practice on a demo account to build confidence and also to test your trading skills and strategy if you feel that you are ready and the strategy you tried is working on a demo account you can start trading on live trading with a small account and don't forget the risk management when trading on futures.

Just want to share these for those who want to test their skills you can use Tradingview paper money and a demo account on OKX.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A11pros dropping internet on: May 15, 2024, 10:10:09 PM
We don't know what exactly the cause of the problem but the logs on the affected unit should tell you the cause of this issue.

Why not post the logs here so that we can analyze them?

Maybe the router can't handle more than 2 units or possibly its an IP issue you need to manually set the units into Static mode with specific IPs so that the router won't confused.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Offline Mining Actually a Thing? on: May 15, 2024, 08:59:02 PM
I never heard of any project like this where you can mine offline.
The only project that I heard near this concept is Mimblewimble where you can send transactions offline P2P without the internet but mining their coins still needs the internet.

For me, this would be easily manipulated by hackers if it can be mined offline and I think it would experience many issues in the future if many people mine and submit their data once they are online.

So it's impossible because you do not know if the miner submitted to their blockchain is legit or not unlike on Bitcoin it must be connected online and the individual who owns nodes can validate any transaction if it doesn't follow the consensus rules the transaction is likely to be rejected.
45  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is trading on CEX still worth it? on: May 15, 2024, 07:15:47 PM
I'm trading on Centalized exchange but I do not know why you ask if it's worth trading on Cexs?

Most traders usually look for exchanges with high volume and low fees if you compare it to Dex exchange the fees are higher than Cex the only advantage of buying on Dex most of the new projects can be traded there compared to Cex plus you can get some points and bonuses as you said on Bitget if you keep trading there you can earn points that you can exchange into usdt.

please show me your jupiter wallet, i'm curious.
jupiter is not a wallet.
nice bitget shill though

He might be talking about their decentralized exchange not the wallet.
You can find it in jup.ag.
46  Economy / Reputation / Re: Account buying. Tagging or not Tagging? on: May 15, 2024, 05:02:28 PM
Hi guys just got a question, if I see a scammer (I know he is a scammer) now trying to buy a Bitcointalk account. Should I give him any kind of feedback?

Are you sure he is buying a Bitcointalk account?

Based on the link you provided he is looking for a BHW account it's not a Bitcointalk account but a VIP account on Blackhatworld. You might misunderstand what is BHW it's another forum for SEO marketing.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking outside The Box as a Gamer. on: May 15, 2024, 04:55:12 PM
Are you sure it's an RPG game?
I tried to search engines of fury when accessing it it shows a shooting game that looks the same as Pubg.

So what RPG game are you talking about? Why not tell us the exact name of the game?
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been profiting from memecoins? on: May 14, 2024, 05:09:10 PM
Memecoins are useless there are lots of communities supporting this meme but spotting any of these is very difficult as we do not know which one will be the same as Pepe, Wif Shiba Inu, or any meme that is currently hot on exchanges.

It's also pretty risky to invest in memes because it's too volatile once their community decides to sell their holdings you will notice a huge price drop compared to any serious project and you can only have them if you invest unless they have airdrops it would be worth trying.

Have you heard of Notcoin?
This is another coin that can be earned on telegram the faster you tap the faster you earn. I thought that this was a useless coin but right now it seems almost all major exchanges will list this coin and I'm sure only those who benefit are those who play the game first and use auto clicker at least you didn't buy it only needs your time and effort.
49  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which miner? on: May 14, 2024, 04:48:20 PM
If you are just planning to buy BTC Miner then the newest model from Bitmain is more powerful but the problem is it's too expensive.

With your current budget, I think what you can only buy are 2nd hand s17 units but try to contact @offordscott he might be able to find you a better unit with your budget.

Here is the contact info: https://offordscott.t.me/
50  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S19jPRO Problem on: May 14, 2024, 10:45:44 AM
Maybe the pool you are trying to connect might be blocked by your internet provider or ISP.

I suggest try to use other mining pools you can find other mining pools from this link below.

If it does not work try changing the network type from DHCP to Static and make sure to change DNS to Google or Cloudflare DNS.
51  Other / Meta / Re: Could there be a "like button"? on: May 13, 2024, 11:06:45 PM
I don't think we will have a like button in the future since this is not a social media like Facebook or Twitter other forums have this option and it's unlimited but here like others said you can only give likes or thanks to someone who contributes by giving merit the only problem is if you are a newbie you can't able to give merit unless you earn merit and earning merit is a bit difficult if you are new in crypto.

The only thing that I could share is to keep posting, contributing, be active, and keep posting informative and helpful posts because that's the only thing I really see working if merit sources found your post informative and helpful I'm sure you'll get what you looking for.
52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lack of capital or knowledge, which one is holding traders back from profits? on: May 13, 2024, 10:48:32 PM
both capital and knowledge on trading is a big problem, as a trader you need to have a knowledge on how to do trading on a perfect way to make a huge profit and at the same time you also need a big capital to earn big, so we really need the two important thing which is knowledge and money as capital and this ks really a serious problem to small time trader we can really feel the pressure of not having enough capital and knowledge this is a sad reality.

I don't think you really need a huge capital to start trading the only advantage of having a big capital on trading is to make a profit in small fluctuates and the advantage of using small leverage. That's the disadvantage for small accounts but you can still able to trade and another thing is if you are not confident yet in your own trading skills it's always better to practice in paper money some exchanges offer such services as demo trading like in OKX or use tradingview.
Trading is honestly pretty risky on small traders if you trade in a smaller view or time frame you will experience some big spikes that is why I do recommend the higher time frame as it gives you a better view and prediction its just not good for intraday but the result is better than trading lower time frames 1m, 5m, and 15m I tried that I lose fast and you need to react right away because there are lots of manipulation in lower time frame than on higher time frame.
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cautious of the Web on open source on: May 13, 2024, 10:08:19 PM
I think you meant CEX usually or always doesn't show their source code to the public
But some DEX do.

here is the link and what are scammers going to gain from lying about the accessibility of their source code?

I get it now so you talking about the web3 wallet which is a completely different wallet than the Trust wallet and most of the exchanges don't have an open-source code for the web3 wallet including Binance and OKX.

Or maybe I can't just find any on Github?
54  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cautious of the Web on open source on: May 12, 2024, 11:13:24 PM
I don't think I get what you mean but exchanges usually do not release their open-source code.

All I could find on Github is bitget APIs and bots so you might be talking about their token?

Why not post the link here that says Bitget is open-source?
Or you maybe found a page that was created by scammers and not owned by Bitget?
55  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Canada fines binance $4.38mln for money laundering violations? on: May 12, 2024, 10:54:10 PM
Hey anyone can put a link to a news article and ask us to talk about it. You know it would be good to give a synopsis of what the article, and then share your thoughts.
That's how it should be done.
It is not everyone that will click on the link. We are all too care about phishing links. Have this in mind for next time..
I think he just wants to be a FUDster to make people sell their holdings from Binance.

This issue is always there since CZ pleaded guilty to money laundering and I'm sure not only Canada will ask for fines but also other countries that have strong AML.

News just doing its job to keep Bitcoin in a downtrend so that these whales can buy at a cheap price and later pay the news creator again to make good news to change from a downtrend to an uptrend that's what I always thought from the beginning why Bitcoin price action is a bit different compared on the past block halving.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading method on spot market with this year on: May 12, 2024, 10:32:56 PM

This will be difficult in the case of the short time, most of Altcoin, which occupies the lead now, was not present in 2017, and therefore all of FA and TA have very narrow dates and therefore cannot be relied upon for long-term trading as happens in DCA.

Yes, some altcoins are new that you didn't see in the past that is why I include fundamental and DYOR is to improve your long-term perspective not just technical.

DCA only works if you do it with FA and DYOR that is what investors do for long-term investments. You might be using fundamental analysis as a news aggregator for the short term?
FA is use for long term prediction not for short term I don't heard anyone use FA for short term maybe for bad news but it is just one of the FA components.
57  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: High Fees on Electrum? Normal? on: May 12, 2024, 10:05:54 PM
Is the number of coin control inputs going to matter? is it going to affect the transaction speed or its just a matter of privacy?

Like others said yes it increases the size of your transaction but the transaction speed depends on the fee you set.
And for me, it is better not to use coin control to consolidate all of your UTXO while the recommended fee from mempool.space is cheap because if the network is again congested in the future you would pay a much higher fee due to many UTXO so I do recommend don't use coin control instead let it merge all UTXO it would benefit you in the future when the network is congested.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to buy privacy coins? on: May 12, 2024, 09:41:41 PM
I don't think there is the best but I think the only option to completely buy privacy coin is to use P2P and non-KYC exchange like others mentioned above.
However, if you already have some stable coins or major coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum why not try Exch to buy XMR and make sure to hold it on a wallet that supports Tor that makes your wallet untraceable, and anonymous.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New to futurebit moonlander on: May 12, 2024, 08:56:34 PM
As the above said since this is a Scrypt ASIC miner you can only mine with supported algo other coins with different algo do not support but you can still able to mine other coins with supported algo.
The only problem is all coins that you currently mine are the only coins profitable compared to other supported coins.

You can also try mining Digibyte or if you are looking for more coins then use this tool below and under the algorithm type this keyword "scrypt" to show all coins under that algo.

60  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Samourai wallet user de-anonymization on: May 12, 2024, 08:29:53 PM

If you deposit your campaign earnings on a KYC exchange like Binance, now it is possible to find out your real name, where you live, and if you are worth a lot of money. If you like to spend your BTC on gay porn and sex toys, the whole world knows you are a degenerate pervert. I won’t make any moral judgments if that’s what you’re into, but the point is that having access to this information has real-life consequences.

I don't know if you're right but exchanges never expose your identity to others unless you change your account to public Binance as a sample they don't put your identity in public unless legal authorities are requesting your data.
So if you spend your BTC on porn or sex toys only Binance knows this and the authorities who requested your data.

All transactions are traceable so I don't think having a full node will completely make your BTC private even if you set it in Tor if you bought BTC from exchanges and just moved it to your private full node then exchanges know that you own that wallet.
You can only be sure about you're privacy if the BTC didn't come from KYCed exchanges that is why P2P and non-KYC exchanges comes in to make our data private.
