Price: $2500 USD,  May I ask why the price has been reduced to 1/4 of the original price (or -$7000)? I understand lowering the price when it has been on the market for a bit, but was the original price a mistake, has something happened to the piece or is there another reason I am overlooking? I think it is a fair question to ask, how did you come to own such a piece? Not sure I'd be willing to throw $2,500 at it, but it looks like it's in impressive condition and it certainly is a piece of history. I'm going to assume it is Range-ready? What sort of accessories are we talking about? I am always after well priced AR stuff such as hand guards/BCGs/Etc...
I used to own a gunshop and built long range precision rifles. Bolt actions mostly, but a bunch of National Match M14 clones, Garands, and ARs. I sold the business so I could keep the house and ditch the woman, but I have a bunch of small parts left over. I'll look through my stuff, I may have some BCGs and the like. If I find anything you may be interested in I'll PM you. I would be interested in this kind of thing, but you provide next to no information. This probably more fittingly belongs in the "Marketplace" board, where things like this are discussed. This board is more so for the actual sale of items for BTC. Yes, there is interest though; our community prioritizes freedom as a thing of great importance and with freedom comes the requirement for firearms. Almost nobody reputable will do anything illegal in this regard, so as long as it is FFL to FFL and other laws are followed you would have customers for sure.
Any firearm I acquire would have to comply with CA/NY laws and that's a daunting task, but if it passes then you have my interest.
I actually had more info in this post originally, including links to my feed back on ebay, gunbroker, and the falfiles. Then I though better of posting so much info for the eyes on this forum, lol. Anything I sell will, of course be legal, and since I'm in California, compliant to our draconian restrictions. I was merely feeling things out to see if there is interest, so perhaps you're right about this posting being in the wrong thread. I'll get around to taking some photos of the guns I'll be selling within the next few weeks, and I'll make sure to include a post here. Do you have an M1 Garand stacking swivel? |

Will these metadata be protected against using them for malicious purposes? If any user has entered any metadata with malicious code, will it be blocked?
It's an arbitrary data container, it's up to the applications to choose what's malicious or not and how to properly respond. For example <script>alert("XSS");</script> is perfectly valid data to include depending upon the application, but if that were improperly processed by a block explorer it may run it instead of display it. |

Anyone able to sync from scratch with the new 0.15 wallet ? For me it just sits there with 0 connections, even though I've added the addnodes and won't sync forever...
