everyone following the BTC rush , i don't know if is a good time to buy but if you
have some to risk try , for me is almost time to get back if BTC stop that is.

reality ? you fell to Scammers after being in an ICO , IPO
(more like any other stock and index in the world ICO or not got your portfolio down 25 % or 85 %)
Now  SEC is helping you getting back up your lost money maybe....

I just started syncing FLORIN wallet in MAC. But it is very slow. what would be the estimated time for full sync? Is there a conf file which can be useful for faster sync?

There is a blockchain snapshot available here: https://hellobitcoin.org/flo/flochain.tar.gz

You can extract the files to ~/Library/Application\ Support/Florincoin/ on your Mac. Please remember to make a backup before changing any datadir files for any cryptocurrency - that includes Florincoin.

Also, add these nodes to florincoin.conf:

Code:
addnode=146.185.148.114
addnode=192.241.171.45
addnode=188.166.6.99
addnode=176.9.59.110
addnode=162.243.107.112
addnode=128.199.116.119
addnode=207.154.239.148
addnode=193.70.122.58

Alexandria
Alexandria is a distributed library for sharing and preserving art, history and culture. Imagine a platform like Youtube, Soundcloud, or Netflix, but without any of the costly server or bandwidth overhead. Users can self-publish anything, including videos, music, books, 3D printable, recipes, and more. Content creators have complete control over how their work is published and will be able to choose from several different monetization options.

Alexandria harnesses the power of a few different distributed technologies, including bittorent and the Florincoin blockchain. Bittorent technology allows for the library to hold an inconceivable amount of content, while also ensuring that content is delivered efficiently when demand is highest. Florincoin’s blockchain provides a permanent, publicly accessible publishing ledger and payments layer which allows for data permanence while also creating a financial incentive for users to contribute to the growth and security of the platform.

What Bitcoin did for money, Alexandria aims to do for digital content publishing and distribution by removing central points of failure and financially incentivizing users around the world.

OIPd
Alexandria is a distributed application for sharing media. It disintermediates the connection between artists and their patrons, freeing them from the restrictions introduced by middle-man. It allows artists a platform to publish and distribute their art at the same time, and cryptographically proves their ownership of that data. OIPd is the primary daemon behind Alexandria - the bridge between the blockchain and the interface.

Protocol
The Alexandria protocol is a variation of the Proof of Publication protocol, which uses the block chain as a notary. Alexandria has two significant basic functions:
* Register new publisher.
* Publish information.
In Alexandria, a publisher is anyone who has information to share with the network. That information could be a book, a movie, a song, a poem, a delicious recipe, a 3D printing blueprint, or anything else that can be represented in digital format.

The process for storing information can be manual or automated; automated accounts will provide payment in advance while manual users will pay-as-they go.

Didn't alexandria released before?
It depends on what your definition of "release" is. The website alexandria.io has been up for about 2 years now with the old version of the browser and publisher. It works well enough to get the point across. The new version being developed right now by the Alexandria team will replace the one that is on the website currently.
