41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Fan Tokens: be a New Trend in Crypto? on: June 10, 2024, 05:40:31 PM
~
New trend in scamming fans out of their money Wink. Pretty sure they're an old thing though. I think clubs just didn't go through and continue with it since they didn't see any possible profitability in it in the long run especially if you consider how majority of their fans would probably be non-crypto people themselves. Granted as well they can probably just do NFTs instead, or just real life merch which would cost more to make, but would probably generate more profit for them as well.

And let's be real, a coin in my wallet does not make me in no way feel more connected to the teams I support lol.

They are not automatically scam. Actually they are more better than meme coin that doesn’t have real use case.

Fan token main utility is for buying merchandise, tickets and lther materials from the club which they are selling on their website. Also it’s use for voting and other sort that related for the team so you can consider it as some sort of DAO token for the sports club to make fans still involved to the team.

Some of fan token is not that popular anymore since real fan preferred the payment in fiat and watching the game physically rather than purchasing this kind of crypto assets as support to the team.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Odds discussion) Would you still stick in your favorite casino if....? on: June 10, 2024, 05:06:02 PM

For Duelbits, it's offering 1.85.
For Stake, it has 1.80.
For Sportsbet, it has 1.90.

Would you shift to the sportsbook with bigger odds or would you stay?

For this odds difference, of course I might consider changing bookie since it’s a huge profit difference which is vital for gamblers that is gambling with house edge. But I doubt the difference is that huge on every games they offered.

Also it depends on the VIP level of my account since the odds difference can be compensated by my VIP rewards so it’s useless for me to change bookies if that’s the case. For me, it’s all about profitability when it comes to choosing the provider. Don’t hesitate to change a bookie as long as it’s both safe and trusted if you can have better profit on it.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino companies' responsibilities to rehabilitation institutions on: June 10, 2024, 04:36:00 PM
my question is, do casinos need to be charged to carry out csr to rehabilitation centers so that these rehabilitation centers can provide discounts for cases related to gambling addiction? and what about online casinos, how should they carry out csr since they operate globally?

Gambling is for entertainment purposes that’s ehy the addiction part is depends on how user handle his own game.

Unlike companies that selling harmful products that cause addiction which surely results to addiction that’s why companies that involved on this industry know the effect and accept the minimal cost for csr in exchange for continuously selling their product to the market without any legal problem.

I doubt casino will do the same but it’s good if they will have since gambling addiction is already increasing due to online casino.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Religious leader barred from casinos because of big wins. on: June 10, 2024, 04:08:17 PM
Casino winnings by a religious leader are attributed to divine intervention. The casinos are panicking and excluding the man. It begs several fascinating issues and is a classic conflict between faith and fortune

It’s nonsense to connect faith to casino especially what you mention about divine intervention. No one in their right mind will consider it on gambling because they are conflict to the beliefs of religion. Maybe the casino owner just doesn’t want to suffer more losses due to the winning percentage of this player is alarming regardless of his religious status.

Quote
Should someone in leadership of religion gamble? Who then are we to criticize someone's spiritual connection? Who's to argue it's not real if the Archbishop honestly feels he is getting direction? Regarding the casinos, their response makes sense given their commercial viewpoint. But banning someone for overwinning? Would you say that seems a little...unsportsmanlike? Every person choose what they believe and how they want to lead their life

Agreed, no one should be deprived to gamble regardless of your status in life. It’s not unsportsmanlike but rather too scared probably he is living in a country which has a lot of superstition and beliefs about luck.  Cheesy
45  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 10, 2024, 03:30:55 PM

I can withdraw my money from the site without any problems. I did so a month ago and I even easily changed my withdrawal address.

I think you missed the days when withdrawal is not working. Everything is fixed now with delay withdrawal if you just try the casino just now.

The disappearance of TheQuin worries me. But, apart from that, what's wrong with the site?

AFAIK, those players that considered as high roller are those players that is affected with the security issue since the hacker probably manage to sent them malware through email since their info is available on the leaderboard winner of freebitco.in contest. Normal players or casual player is not affected so far.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A way to be safe from Rug pull on: June 10, 2024, 03:06:09 PM
Rug pulls are a common scam in the crypto space, especially with meme coins. Fortunately, there's a Twitter account dedicated to exposing these scams and helping you stay safe.
X-ANTI SCAMMER on twitter actively monitors and follows the accounts of known scammers, keeping track of their rug pull contract addresses. And over the past few months, their work has proven to be 100% accurate in identifying and warning about potential rug pulls. I'm sure this will be helpful for memecoins degens.

There’s no way a single entity can catch all the potential rug pull happening in crypto space since there’s a lot of new project existing every day. Maybe this social media exposed “some” rug pull but definitely they can’t make everyone safe since scammer can keep creating project easily.

The only way to avoid being a victim of rug pull project is to stop investing on project that has unknown background devs because they are the one who always turns out a rug pull since they don’t have to lose.

Just stick on investing blue chip projects with solid private investors backing it.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you help me to get out of this CRYPTO SCAM? 3,000$ for it. NOT JOKING! on: June 09, 2024, 05:01:38 PM

If you check dexscreener for this token, there are few successful sell from different wallets.

Do you think these are all from the owner?

Do you know if there is any way to sell at all?

As I mentioned above I'm giving away $3,000 to whoever helps me out with this through whatever is possible. I'm not joking.

Definitely a scam. Out of 444 buys only 2 manage to sell which means this is definitely a honeypot. I was supposed to suggest increasing the price impact but looking at the trading history shows an obvious honeypot because sellers should be selling now with that number of total buys.

There’s no way to recover unless you hire chain analysis expert to track scammer wallet until they make mistakes on sending balance to centralized exchange that will reveal their identity. Your 3000$ reward is almost enough to hire someone that will do this for you but the recovery part should be done with the help of the authorities since you need to need a letter that will sent to the exchange.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best crypto day trading platform on: June 09, 2024, 04:25:15 PM
Without complicating things. Binance is the best trading platform if you are good for providing KYC to exchange since this exchange has the most liquidity, fastest trading festure and many financial tools that you can use to earn.

If you preferred DEX then I don’t recommend any specific DEX I’m not updated anymore on what’s best since each blockchain has their own main DEX. Just check for liquidity pool always to see whether it was being trusted by many people through the amount locked with their pool.
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: June 09, 2024, 03:49:40 PM
I just realized today that if you have more money you have better chances to win a game, especially in slots. I lost a good amount and suddenly a thought entered my mind "What if I have more so that could continue betting and wait for the RTP to click in?". I bet I will make more and probably end up doubling my balance by chance.

This is correct since you have many attempt spin to hit huge win compared when you limited bankroll since slot games is a complete random game. But you should remember that the higher the bankroll means the higher potential loss it might incurred to you since there’s no guarantee that you will the jackpot for the extended you have with your increased bankroll.

Same with superman quote “great power comes with greater responsibility”. This higher bankroll will become a burden to you once losses pile up that’s why it’s important to play using amount that you can afford to lose even if it’s just small because having is the most important goal when gambling.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling push notifications. on: June 09, 2024, 03:13:38 PM
I think this is a topic from the "marketing" board or "help me in my online life," yeah, that is, why topic has to do with Gambling, anyway, just don't use : "....@gmail.com" there are so services where you can stay away from spam, that using gmail to register at a casino is not a good habit.

Yeah right, I think the connection that you can attach this topic to gambling is the info that casino typically share their userbase to other casino especially their partner.

I doubt that the email provider will leak the info since it’s suspicious that the spam email is from casino. I experienced this shit when I register to local online casino, I never though that they will share my phone number to other scammy casino since they are trusted brand in the PH while I use the phone number on this specific casino alone.
51  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: June 09, 2024, 02:58:32 PM
After being inspired by reading so many huge wins on Wanted Dead or a Wild. I finally got my first huge win on this slot games Duel at Dawn bonus round. I had a roller coaster ride first on playing Blackjack until my balance was depleted to 40$ which is the exact price for the VS bonus of this slot game. I remember this slot game when browsing the casino for a game where I can bet all my balance in one go.

Luckily I did hit x3.21 of my buy bonus value which is 40$ and an x641 on a base bet which is helpful to conclude my game tonight with a profit!

Show me the moneeeyyy/  Grin

Solid win for a very hard bonus game to win due to its high volatility. AFAIK this the bonus that has a highest volatility among the 3 option of bonus for this slot game. The most expensive bonus type has a medium volatility category while this one has the high volatility and at the same time too expensive for a bonus buy that’s why I never purchased this bonus.

Glad that you hit a solid win 1 attempt since 40$ for a single bonus buy is already a biggie purchase for shrimp slot player like me. Congrats.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you lost the money that you where supposed to withdraw from online casino? on: June 08, 2024, 03:54:13 PM
I withdraw up to 4 times from my online gamble account and the fifth withdrawal wasn't successful and they said I have to wait for 24 hours before I can continue to withdraw the money, so while waiting I gamble and lost the money I was supposed to withdraw, so have you experienced a thing like this from any online gamble site that make you to lose the money that you wanted to withdraw?

This is a very common scenario on gambling which you can read a lot of same topic from the past since being out of patience when waiting for withdrawal to approved is what always happening to gambler.

I’m sure you feel that you can try to play more to earn more while waiting while at some point of your game which you are losing some your balance you get an idea that you are already playing part of profit which you can afford to lose that’s why you bet in risky way.

Many experienced the same that’s why you should only play on casino with instant withdrawal feature because patience is always the enemy of evey gambler.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's winning more casinos or gamblers? on: June 08, 2024, 02:40:37 PM

Casino is a business and I believe it services itself, its staffs and its taxes and they wouldn't be able to do these with loses, the gamblers are always the ones at the losing end, the business is designed to be so and that pattern keeps them in operation. Those that win today, still records loses tomorrow and that keeps the money in circulation and their lost funds coming back to them, while yours stays with them.

On point interpretation but sometimes even casino is on profit against player they can still suffer losses if their expenses is still greater than the profit they get to players. This instance is happening on physical since they have a lot of additional expenses such us electricity, more stuff, maintenance of the building and other physical expenses.

Luckily for online casino they less expenses since they only need to hire technical stuff and supports to manage the casino since every games is supplied by 3rd party game provider which they just listed on their online casino.

This is the reason why online has a lot of perks related to returning to players(RTP) part of their profit in a form of VIP rewards.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sweet Bonanza vs Gates of Olympus on: June 08, 2024, 01:14:32 PM
Both shit games im regards with return since I play both slot game for a long time no without hitting any significant multiplier even with spin above 1000+. The closest huge win I can get on buy bonus with this slot games is x2 of my bonus while the next buy bonus is usually resulted to loss.

These 2 games is not the same when they are initially introduced which users is hitting huge multiplier in not a very rare occasion. It’s better to play new released game of pragmatic instead of this old slot games since it has very low ROI.

Tbh, it’s worst than high volatility slot games of hacksaw.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fun activity but it has some potential to be profitable sometimes on: June 08, 2024, 11:08:00 AM
The day I visited this gambling board and was reading on topics about gambling addiction, what I learnt from some of those topics is that gambling platforms are place for losses and profit. There's no body that can gamble all day without losses and profit, a gambler can not predict when the loss is coming and also when the profit is coming and for that reason gambling can not be considered as a profitable source of income because the risk of losing is too much and highly uncontrollable.

Gambling is a place of entertainment. Entertainment should be your goal when you gamble regardless of profit/loss outcome. Thinking about the outcome mainly without being entertained defeats the purpose of gambling since everyone knows that no one can win on gambling consistently because of the house edge.

Just go gambling if you are bored and want to be entertained using the money that you can afford to lose. After all, gambling can be considered as luxurious source of entertainment.
56  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: June 08, 2024, 10:58:27 AM
Btw when will $SHFL token will be available on other blockchain such as BSC to make it easier to accumulate due to cheaper fee.

We really need that. $SHFL should be available on at least one another alternative blockchain like BSC, Solana, Polygon.

Yes that would be more better better if people would have a lot of blockchain to use  as alternative. Specially if ETH network experiencing a network issues which can stop people to accumulate especially if they can't handle much the potential fees that need to pay when they decide to deposit and accumulate on exchange where it listed.

We know that there's lot of issues happening on ERC-20 network and lots of tokens are shifting into SOL which is currently famous network now or even BSC. If people would know that and they add this then maybe this would lead something great for SHFL and it could make the accumulation for people became more easier.

Actually only one biggest issue on ETH network that keeps persisting even before and that is high transaction fee especially from the DEX on this blockchain. DEX charge an insane fees in every trade since they knew that ETH trader has no choice than to pay in able to purchase early the crypto that has a potential to pump soon once listed on CEX.

Shuffle just need to partner with other liquidity providers on different blockchain or offer a appetizing APY to stakers in able to attract users that will provide liquidity on the pool.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you lost the money that you where supposed to withdraw from online casino? on: June 07, 2024, 03:31:09 PM
So that was how I was doing untill I won a lot but didn't withdraw them at once, I withdraw up to 4 times from my online gamble account and the fifth withdrawal wasn't successful and they said I have to wait for 24 hours before I can continue to withdraw the money, so while waiting I gamble and lost the money I was supposed to withdraw, so have you experienced a thing like this from any online gamble site that make you to lose the money that you wanted to withdraw?

You shouldn’t withdraw frequently because your account will surely get flagged for potential mixing despite you are just regularly winning. Frequent withdrawal will always show a warning for the casino that’s why it’s better to withdraw at one go or just save your balance on casino vault if this feature is available to avoid inconvenience.

Luckily in your story, your account is just temporarily unable to withdraw for the day while you still have your balance. I experienced this before but due to the KYC imposed to my account due to my frequent deposits/withdrawal.

Just don’t be greedy and play carelessly using the balance remaining to your casino wallet.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you ignore/resist cheating to secure a winning bet? on: June 07, 2024, 03:03:44 PM
So if you are one of the specified fun gamblers, can you resist cheating opportunity and just rely your winning on your own ability?

Mind you: Cheating is cheating on whichever way as long you sources your winning outside your ability

I believe most of the gambler will be tempted to use this method to get profit as long as this method is 100% guaranteed that you will not be caught. The problem on cheating against the casino especially if you are KYC was you might get banned personally including your IP on the casino and to other casino which they are connected.

There’s a lot of potential repercussions involved once you caught cheating that will make you unable to do online gambling normally. But if there will be a hypothetical method then many gamblers will surely try this for the profit.
59  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unreasonable Withdrawal Limits on Betiro on: June 07, 2024, 02:22:04 PM
I think that it is not the site being unreasonable, as 500 usd in one day seems perfectly fine for most players. What I think is that you may be a player that needs a site that is conceived for stronger betting and bigger limits. If this is your case, you need a site that is happy to work with bigger cash movements. The limits are there probably to ensure liquidity.

The website is indeed has a problem on this case base on the evidence provided by the OP in the first page post.

The website claims a 50K max withdrawal limit per month which means they have 1666USD max withdrawal per day if they will follow their original monthly withdrawal yet the casino said that they made an error and fixed it with lower monthly withdrawal right after OP has a huge balance in the casino.

This is on casino fault since declared a wrong limit.
60  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: June 06, 2024, 05:45:47 PM
Has anyone of here playing before received an email from Cloudet about their new VIP Rewards program? I used to play here before and now I received an email saying that I have a reward I can claim. I only got 5 USDT, but the claim is scheduled, similar to coins.game if you're familiar with it. Right now my cloudbet account is Silver VIP close to Gold VIP and if I wager something 100$ they will reward me 10$.

I have a feeling that cloudbet might consider running a signature campaign here on bitcointalk. Especially if someone can contact them.

Here's the email I received:

Same here, I received a promotional email 5hrs ago which is odd for me since I don’t received email notifications from cloudbet long time ago due to my long inactivity on this casino. I don’t know what’s my VIP level on this since I never open again my casino account when they introduced VIP level system but I get an email like the pictures below.

IIRC, @icopress is the last signature campaign manager of this casino back when they are still have promotions here in the forum.
