1041  Local / Pilipinas / Ano nga ba ang Layer 1 at Layer 2 Blockchain? on: April 21, 2023, 01:10:47 AM

1042  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone notice the "investment cost" ? on: April 15, 2023, 05:18:02 PM
Your point appears logical, but not many traders, particularly those who are new to trading, will think of it that way. When you have a plan in place and a specific profit goal in mind, buying and selling at regular intervals will jeopardize your investment and cause you to lose it all as the market fluctuates. You can avoid all of this if you have a target and work towards achieving it without being bothered or tempted by market volatility, especially when the market is in an uptrend.
There should be certain amount when we will sell or buy some investment, sometimes the transactions fee were too high that also takes some amount in our supposedly investment. Though in 1st case of OP it’s normal to sell if there is a need for money but if only plans to hold it will be better to hold unless we will be able to sell it high and got a chance to buy back at lower price. However we mist be attentive in the market price to be able to do that. If we’re into trading it is good also to see and trade some altcoins as there might crypto that gets some hype.
1043  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asks for KYC (their site say NO KYC) then confiscates my winnings on: April 15, 2023, 04:42:47 PM
I don't understand why some members are arguing about what's mentioned in their ToS and insist to ignore that it's written on the top of the main page in bold "NO KYC for crypto players". With this, it doesn't matter what their ToS says. If there is a contradiction then this is their fault not the player's.
I would understand it if OP was trying to withdraw a huge amount of money, but in this case we are talking about few hundred bucks! They should remove that part from their main page and stop making false claims.

There's an exception to the rules if the OP violate the casino ToS. He didn't mention the complete srory but this might be the reason casino holding as tramp card on his case.

I agree that casino respects their tag line on the front page if they claim to have no KYC requirements. The only problem was that tag line is not visible anymore on the casino front page while the OP doesn't have proof for that claim or am I just missing it.

When it comes to playing any game that depends on luck.  Then a limitation should be adopted so that even if we lose multiple times it does not cause us a big financial loss. Because when something depends on luck, its winning cannot be predicted or guaranteed in any way. Because of this, the betting strategy should be arranged in such a way that we can profit in any direction.  That will be the real success

This is a legit way on controlling loss in theory but its very to implement on actual because our mind is very cloudy when we are in the effect of gambling addiction specially we are on a losing streak since our normal reflexes as human is to recover losses using your remaining available on your wallet that you can access immediately.

To counter this on my own. I always stake my token on a time deposit before I start gambling to make sure that I will not have access on it when I loss and have urge to gamble more.
1045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter plans to offer buying and selling of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on: April 15, 2023, 03:16:28 PM
Twitter, one of the largest social media platforms has sparked rumours about it's plans to offer buying and selling of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on it's platform. If this eventually happens, it could have significant impacts on the future of cryptocurrency and social media.

Right now, twitter has about 237.8 million users worldwide, this move towards crypto would bring about awareness and education about cryptocurrency to a wider audience. Which could lead to increased acceptance of crypto currency as a legitimate form of payment and investment.

I doubt that this will happened since Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is already widespread on twitter. In fact, recently twitter just change their logo to $Doge as an example on how crypto is already popular on twitter. If twitter will plan to do this then they will launch separate platform for their exchange that separates it on their social media.

All I say is twitter people know the existence of crypto and those that still don't invest on Bitcoin have there personal reason and not just because they are out of reach on Bitcoin trading.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 15, 2023, 02:33:53 PM
but many of us overlooked it I have a friend who took months of playing in one casino before he learn of the wagering requirement because he already won a big amount of money and wants to withdraw if we just want to have a good time and not expecting to win and withdraw we will not bother with a wagering requirement.
It's part of us being serious players to have knowledge of the wagering requirement some casinos don't have in their FAQ so it's better to ask than assume.

This make sense. User that main goal is to gamble for fun will not withdraw immediately his balance with just a couple of bets that wagering sum up is still below the initial deposit amount but on the OP case, The casino has a high wagering requirements that is above the norm of the casino which even gambling for fun will obviously not enough because x5 wager of initial deposit is very hard especially if the funds is huge. Most likely he will lose part of it even if he already win on the early stage since he will need to wager more.

I think this is what upset him but your first line comment still governs that we shoild read carefully before we play no matter how unfair the casino rules are.
1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 14, 2023, 06:32:28 PM
I've never understood why people are trying to convince (force) someone to buy bitcoin. If a person doesn't understand the meaning and value of bitcoin, then even if he buys it, he will regret it and sell it very quickly to buy some things.

There is no need to force people to buy bitcoin. We need to provide them with more resources and information in an unobtrusive form so that they themselves become interested in bitcoin and want to buy it.

I don't see on the OP Aany wording stated that he convince someone by force. Sceptical person usually has a lot of questions and concerns. Probably this is what the OP trying to answer by the word convincing someone. It's not that they completely don’t like but they are just afraid on the risk involved that is why they don't want to invest. A proper explanation can turn this skeptical people to a believer since Bitcoin has all the feature required as trusted investment in long term.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Federal government and banks are threats... on: April 14, 2023, 05:35:50 PM
But i real deals here is the government are afraid of citizens having independent living source.

It's not about source of living but rather they afraid that people will not need anymore fiat to purchase since thy have fully control on it while Bitcoin is completely decentralized which people cannhold without paying any taxes if they will.

Government will always be like this even with different administration because they want a full authority on something to manipulate the finances of the citizen and imply the rot fiat system that prone on inflation.
1049  Economy / Gambling / Re: Limbo and Dice Simulator on: April 14, 2023, 04:29:38 PM
Limbo & Dice Simulator

It's just a small simulator, but a good tool for simulating Limbo or Dice lose/win streaks.

Give it a try: https://www.cryptogrinder.io/limbo-simulator/

An advanced version with inc/dec on win/lose and stop on win/lose is comming soon.

Btw: It's a real eye opener for people who like to wager at 1.01x.

What is the essence of doing simulation on limbo if the game is pure random without any winning percentage available to do some calculation for the probability of winning. Casino offers a demo mode on Limbo games which equivalent to the simulation you are offering.

I see no point on simulating this game because practice won’t change the outcome of your future games since there is no data being analyze here but just pure instinct on when to cashout.
1050  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you get familiar with threads? on: April 14, 2023, 03:48:29 PM
Most at times I get confuse and stuck when I see some post with strange or unfamiliar threads but at the same time I will see a lot of people arguing the threads and comments. I don't know how wide is crypto currency with exclusive terminologies like nodes, cores, NFt etc. At some point I wonder what I can do to mingle deeply in the discussion and contributions of this hard terms but one can not said something where you have no ideas. That's why I want to know how you get much familiar with all bitcoin technologies? What should I do?

Simple solution is to ignore boards that you are not familiar especially if you are not interested on it. There is no need to get involved on every topic on the forum and just focus on topics that caught your interest. Make it a step by step process to learn different branches of crypto to avoid confusion and mixed up knowledge.

You use the ignore board option of the forum to temporarily hide all the boards that you didn't want to see so that you can focus only on topic that you want. You can access this feature through this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3535601;sa=ignoreBoards
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 14, 2023, 03:42:56 PM
It's like, "Hey, pal, what's the big idea?" Seriously, who on earth thinks wagering 50x to snatch a bonus is sane? It's practically like they're smirking, "Best of luck, champ!" and shoving you into a casino black hole. And let's face it, we're all aware those slot machines and twirls are as crooked as a politician. It's tantamount to gambling in a game where the odds are perpetually tilted against you!

Time to rise up against these devious casinos and their underhanded maneuvers. We need to clamor for just wagering prerequisites and genuine opportunities to hit it big. Let's demonstrate to these gambling dens that we're not merely bettors; we're classy bettors deserving of so much more!
Bonus is just a bonus given away by the casino by just completing the wagering requirements. Bonus doesn't affect your gameplay and its not a mandatory requirements to claim so I done see the point on appealing to the casino to lower the requirements since they are just giving it away for free in exchange for task given.

It's normal to imposed such hard requirements to avoid abused and potential loss by the casino in case someone exploit it and manage to claim multiple times if the requirements will be too easy.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 14, 2023, 01:50:33 PM
I sometimes win in slots but most of the time I lose but I only play slots whenever I want to spend some time or past some time as the animation and sound effects are entertaining plus the chance that you are going to win. It's really a great way to spend time in casino in my opinion and every casino have different games and sometimes they offer 1000+ slot games.

I appreciate the tips by the way, they are really good.

Most of the slot machine is designed to have a flashy feature to attract user to play more. Their cool graphics is one the main feature why this game is very popular even though this game has a low win chance rate no matter what slot RTP you are using.

Because of my previous bad experience on slot, I just downloaded on appstore a slot games that offers all the slot games available in the physical casino. This way I can enjoy playing slots without losing real money. I preferred playing sportbet over slot and I quench my slot thirst through playing using non-gambling slot games.
1053  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asking me for KYC although their site explicitly states no KYC on: April 13, 2023, 04:07:12 PM
Hi there

I have been playing some time now on justbit.io. Won some money, and my account stands approx 8 mbtc. I asked to withdraw 5 mbtc and today they asked me for KYC procedure (ID and other stuff). By their site states explicitly that they do not ask for KYC if crypto was used to deposit. This sounds me like scam. They will not pay me

I browse the casino and it doesn’t explicitly display that they don’t ask KYC to all their customer. This casino has a license to operate from Curacao which means they are obligated to impose a KYC to satisfy AML policy to meet the license requirements. It’s absurd to not check carefully the casino details before you play on the casino.

Probably you are recruited by someone and tells you that this casino doesn’t require KYC just to mislead you on depositing money here. Also you should not play on any casino with license if you are not willing to do KYC because all of them will ask you to do it at some point.
1054  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I earn only from cryptocurrencies? on: April 13, 2023, 04:02:00 PM
I wonder, how many of you work in crypto full time, and how many use this as an additional source of income?

If you want to, you can share with us what you are doing in crypto. Is it trading, aidrops, writing articles, marketing, etc ?

I personally use crypto as additional source of income by just holding long term and take profit during bull run like this. I believe most of the response you will get here mostly a testimony about earning through signature campaign because that’s what popular source of additional income here in the forum because it guarantees profit on weekly basis unlike trading that there’s a lot of risk involved.

Anything that is services in exchange for crypto is the best source of income because it doesn’t involve risk and just pure man power required.
1055  Other / Meta / Re: Making new messages more obvious (SMF patch) on: April 12, 2023, 03:32:55 PM
I also check if I have a new personal message when I log in, and after that I rely on the option "Show a popup when you receive new messages?" which, when turned on, notifies you every time you receive a new personal message in a way that is difficult (or impossible) to ignore.

It's not that your option wouldn't be an additional improvement, but it's not a problem for me personally as it is now.

I’m using this feature and it’s indeed very hard to missed a new message because a popup message notification will appear on the center of the screen. It will continue to display like that whenever I login or refresh the homepage after login until I finally open the pending message.

A colored red dot for example is more noticeable than the dot that has same color pallet. Actually making the number counter on the message colored is already enough to make it noticeable because the default forum theme is more on white theme palette.
1056  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE: up to $25 FREE BONUS [NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED] Forum EXCLUSIVE! on: April 12, 2023, 03:27:26 PM

This forum exclusive bonus is non-wagering in the sense that, in order to receive the bonus, a newly registered forum member doesn't need to
- wager anything before receiving the bonus
- wager all of the Day 1 bonus before receiving bonus of the next day

The bonus is still subject to our site-wide T&C, which I have mentioned previously.

TrustDice Team

With this I understand that the $25 bonus for forum members is activated by registration. Is there any other criteria that will deny a user off the bonus after registration going with T&C as you have mentioned ?

I think you have to clear the withdrawal aspect on the op especially 5x wagering before withdrawal of such or winning as the case maybe.

You see the catch now. Bonus has no wagering requirements but the deposit has a wagering requirements of his own which is above normal. 25$ bonus for a x5 wager requirements on bonus is not worthy to try. Although the x5 wagering requirements is low compared to the normal casino bonus wagering requirements that usually around x30 and above.

User has a high chance to deposit immediately without reading the terms because the no wagering requirements on the bonus will make them excited to deposit without expecting a catch on the wagering requirements for deposit.

1058  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happens If Binance Exchange Flee Away like FTX on: April 08, 2023, 05:34:19 PM
This same topic was discussed multiple times when FTX collapse since Binance is the most popular exchange followed by FTX. This kind of topic started to resurface again when Binance received its first attack from US government up to this point.

All I can say that we all know how massive the impact when Terra Luna and FTX collapse due to their exposure on multiple crypto project. This is just a glimpse on what’s gonna happened on crypto market once Binance collapse because it’s the leading exchange and investors on massive list of crypto startup that will surely gonna crash down once Binance flee away.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [UFC] Israel Adesanya vs Alex Pereira 2 on: April 08, 2023, 04:57:51 PM
I am a big fan of Israel Adesanya and it breaks my heart to see him in this dire situation, I consider this a dire situation because he is down 3-0 and a loss will shut him off in the UFC all-time greats, 4-0 from one fighter is ugly for a great fighter.
Surprisingly Izzy is the favorite here and I see him also as the favorite to win the fight on his last two losses to Alex he has a wide margin and in their last meeting Izzy was up 3-1 until that left hook in the last round he is winning the fight and just needs on to hold to defend the title.

The career record of Adesanya was 23-2-0 and his recent loss to Pereira is just his second loss prior to his first loss to Jan when he attempted a higher weight class. Adesanya is on 3 win streak when he was beaten by Pereira last year and he will be 2-0 on his career once he loss again.

But I agree that his career will be wrecked once he loses to the same man twice in a row in pursuit for redeeming his belt again. I don’t know if he will still have a career in case he failed to revenge this time.

Adesanya Record: https://www.espn.ph/mma/fighter/_/id/4285679/israel-adesanya

Adesanya is still young and strong as a horse. He will still be in UFC but might have to start all over again. Perera is just stronger and bigger than him. It doesn't look like a mismatch but in their first fight, Adensanya is winning until he got caught with big blows.

This 2nd fight is a time to redeem that belt. Exciting match to watch but can also break your heart when you chose to be a fan.

I agree that he is still young and strong but without the will power, His career will go south once he encounter the great wall on his career which is Pereira.

I think the only reason why Adesanya has the advantage on early stage is because Pereira is being cautious due to Adesanya adequate skill until he realizes that Adesanya can’t handle solid blows once you are already inside his reach.

I hope Adesanya will win this time to have a possible 3rd fight.
