401  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: December 18, 2019, 03:47:00 AM
"Nearly 2.7 trillion won ($2.3 billion) have been lost to crimes involving cryptocurrency in the last two years, according to South Korean government data."

where do you see the improvements being made against crypto criminal activity. this can really hurt the price for traders/investors if conditions don't improve.
But this is part of the crypto ecosystem. There are many types of scammers and bad people here. Here people often use coins to launder money and their purpose is not to pay too much taxes. and so having more criminals is not worth mentioning. We should be aware of the nature of the market and should have thoughts to protect our assets best.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Investements Groups on: December 17, 2019, 04:09:28 AM
Hello guys !
In this thread I want asked You about all known Crypto Investements Group which You participate or You just know or You already hear about.

(I got hope it will be interesting for spectators and developers to get knowledge and contacts to people which investing).

I want build here a list so if You answered me I will put the links here (below) - it could be very helpfull.

I am asking because I am a member of the crypto team of UVU and we are seraching sources for new buyers.
im sorry but i will never believe any sign of investing group. simply because they are all sharks and they always play games for the fry to buy higher, then the job of the sharks is to sell off and make the fry bring. then they will blame the market down and it's all forecasts. I know this all too well and have spent over $ 500 on signals about their "best" alts.
so I advise people not to listen to their signals. We should learn by ourselves and make our own judgment.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cheap website with low fees to trade and convert btc to ethereum ?? on: December 17, 2019, 03:59:35 AM
someone know a good website to convert bitcoin to ethereum with low fees ? and without kyc verification
a website? I thought it had to be an exchange. There will be no conversion site to help you with low fees, most of them are very high and require KYC. So you can use Huobi Global now. Transaction fee is only 0.075% of total assets you trade. It is 2 times cheaper than Binance and of course it suits you. You have the right to withdraw 2 BTC per day without KYC and the transactions will be quickly processed.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Alt projects to take off in 2020 on: December 17, 2019, 03:56:26 AM

In your list, I see only Hydax and Bcnex are fine. Bcnex has attracted more than $ 28 million and their team is trying their best to develop exchange. You can visit Bcnex's Twitter page to see how active they are in promoting reputation. As for Hydax, it is actually one of the most potential coins of exchange. Its volume is doing pretty well and it is important that they have a support fund in the back. so it is easier to develop exchange in this bear market.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ? on: December 17, 2019, 03:45:51 AM
We have often witnessed that the growth of altcoin is associated with the growth of bitcoin as whenever there is a pump in the value of bitcoin we have witnessed green days for altcoins too but how long will altcoins be dependent on bitcoin? Do you think altcoin can do it alone and have it's own pump and dump without being dependent on bitcoin? What will it take for altcoin to prosper without bitcoin's involvement?
Altcoins can move independently from the price of bitcoin but for that they need very specific circumstances, they need the price of bitcoin to be stable but they also need a positive atmosphere so investors are willing to take risks, and when you understand those two factors then you can easily see that we do not have the necessary factors to see an altcoin season.

The price of bitcoin is not stable, it is going down and because of it people are not really positive about the short term prospects of the market and that is slowing down the market of altcoins.
it's entirely based on the supply and demand of the market, not the stability of bitcoin. Bitcoin has been stable for quite a few days now, but the alts have not moved up, which is saying that the demand for buying alts is not much, they are paying more attention to bitcoin. The Halving event has made bitcoin hotter and so is the alts market, it needs something that can appeal to investors to invest in it. for example, top alts offer good news about their new partner or superior technology products.

I think the alts will automatically grow when investors see it sideway at the long bottom. Like in early 2019, the price of ETH and the top coins are both sideway at very low levels. then about 1 month later, it can grow strongly again. Given the current situation of the crypto market, I think the speculators are looking forward to bitcoin, the upcoming halving event and we will still have to confront the Altcoins bear in the long term until Q3 of 2020.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Building Liquidity. on: December 16, 2019, 09:50:54 AM

According Yours advices we considering to open Signature Campaign at Bitcointalk forum, if You have some advices about details how to attract You with this activity please - write below.

If You have some ideas how to make noise and build liquidity at our coin please share here.

I hope this thread will be interesting to other developement
Yes, it was a pretty good decision to open a signature campaign at the forum with tens of millions of accounts. I think you should offer a budget of between $ 15k - $ 20k in USDT or top coins to bounty hunters for sure about your reward. That's a way that will help a lot of bounty hunters come to your campaign and help spread the word about your product. Besides, you should limit the number of posts per week reasonable, about 10 posts per week. That's enough for thousands of users to find your project.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upbit hackers using EOS tokens for money laundering? on: December 16, 2019, 09:45:20 AM

I know that there are some who are closely monitoring those stolen funds that are being hacked. Blockchain has helped us a lot to keep track of the movements of our funds, as “blockchain doesn’t lie”.

Now that these notorious hackers are having a new kind of strategy, in which they will be using a DEX to convert those stolen funds into EOS-pegged tokens.

Every hacker has their own strategy no matter if their transactions are closely monitored on the blockchain. I just felt sorry for those who are affected by the Upbit hack last November.

What would be your reaction to this one guys?
I don't see any surprises here. Everything was arranged and it was normal for the exchange to be hacked. The hackers are now quite sophisticated and there were many hacks in 2018. I only feel sorry for the newbies, who don't know the financial rules and how to manage their capital to be damaged in these hacked cases.
For big exchanges, they should create a better security layer to prepare for the next year.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New solutions on existing industries on: December 16, 2019, 09:29:53 AM
There are actually a lot of bold ideas, not only Sapien, but we also have RET, Credits, EGT, ... all of these projects are aiming for a great product in the future based on blockchain platform. But the bad thing is that the crypto market doesn't need these types of companies. What people are interested in is the money and the profits of a project. It seems to be a speculative culture in the crypto market so even if the projects have good ideas, it will soon die without backup sharks. I used to love Credits with their technology and transaction speed but now their product is doing nothing when the market is only interested in bitcoin.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JuSt a wish on: December 16, 2019, 09:22:44 AM
This is just if, new projects are finding it hard to list on top exchanges because of listing funds but since market is not in a good season why is top exchange listing fee still that high? Top exchanges are not making it easy for new projects to list on their exchanges or am i missing some good information?

And about binance IEO is there anyone on here who can tell me more about them? i mean if a project like eminer can conduct IEO on binance why can't others? is there some kind of agreement like taking IEO fundraising fee after IEO is successful?

Damn i wish new projects can just have their chances as well, now that bitcoin is losing its value things are getting more harder for new projects
haha, you should be aware that non-potential projects will usually not be listed on large exchanges and you should know the rule of thumb in the marketplace, that there is never any free help here!
If Binance is pitiful for bad projects and always lists them to increase liquidity, then where will the honor and reputation that Binance has built up over the years go? You should only blame the project that you join is not potential and bad projects must be eliminated early, done.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 million worth of ETH? on: December 16, 2019, 09:18:51 AM

To me, it was a wise decision for them to liquidate their ETH when it reaches its all-time high back then. Even the “extraordinary terrestrial” himself, Vitalik Buterin, sold his personal 30,000 ETH.

I just wish it was 2017 all over again, when we could have sold some ETH and other tokens during the big bull run. However, I honestly think that it will not repeat ever again because the market has matured already.

Good for them. Well done!
In fact, when returning to a higher peak, you may not have sold as planned now. because greed always dominates reason. only sharks know what they have to do because they understand the market. So in order not to get the sharks to guide us, we need to be disciplined in dealing. learn a lot from those who came first and set up a trading plan and never do anything against what we have set out. That is the best way for us to get maximum profits and never make a loss.
412  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: December 15, 2019, 01:14:25 AM
well, do you have enough shame to live the rest of your life promoting the exchange scams? If you say Hitbtc is transparent and prestigious, then how do you answer about this guy's case, bitcointalk username is Thewowman777 and he just lost 1 Bitcoin at Hitbtc even though he sent enough documents verify 3 times in a row. Link : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5143493.0
and not only for this victim, there are many people who accuse about the lie of HitBTC when continuously detaining the sender's money there. so tell me why? Why do you spend your life helping abusers? You should be punished Smiley
413  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Exchange Is The Best For Buying Bitcoin? on: December 15, 2019, 01:06:40 AM
Hi Everyone!

I hope you're having a great day. The market may not be bullish today, but I want to start the discussion early so we can all be prepared. I recently published an article to compare Kraken and Coinbase to see which exchange would be the best for buying Bitcoin. I would love for you to read the article and hear what you think about the comparision.

Coinbase vs Kraken - Which Exchange Is The Best For Buying Bitcoin?

What exchange do you think is best for buying Bitcoin? Looking forward to the discussion!
Talking about the quality of Kraken and Coinbase, we are not arguing, it is definitely the best exchanges with the most secure and reputable security system in the crypto market. But buying bitcoin at cheap prices and prestige, I only trust Huobi Global. It is one of the best and fastest paying exchanges and we can trade P2P with anyone who wants to sell or buy Bitcoin at a reasonable price. The fee is quite low and I have traded more than 12 bitcoins but there has never been a problem.
414  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [RESOLVED] HitBTC use KYC to keep my ( our ) funds ! on: December 15, 2019, 12:55:25 AM
First of all, I am sorry to you because I also lost money at Hitbtc. It was one of the shit exchanges that I had to trade there and things were very bad. support is also a liar and fraud when I want to help withdraw my ETH, they ask me to send them fee otherwise I will not be able to withdraw. We all have a bad experience with HitBTC! so I suggest that you publish the images and validate again. bitcointalk forum moderators will join and they will flag those Fomo people about HitBTC in the future. This is also an action to prevent fraud.
415  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchanges with guaranteed listing on voting system on: December 15, 2019, 12:48:35 AM
Do we still have Exchanges with guaranteed listing on voting system ?
I know yobit offers this types of listing but according to them it is not guarantee listing
Can someone give me an idea of a good trading exchange that offers guarantee listing through their voting system.
These lists can be exchanged by any exchange, but it is important that the exchange is reputable to make the value of the coin or token grow or not. one thing is clear that Yobit and Binance are two completely different exchanges, Binance is very prestigious and Yobit only wants to make money from investors. Currently, Binance, Huobi are having a remarkable Voting system when the coins simultaneously grow when news is likely to be selected for listing at Binance exchange.
416  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Unofficial Quadriga Cx Thread on: December 15, 2019, 12:41:06 AM
Well the next step in the QuadrigaCX saga starts getting creepy. Looks like they are trying to exhume the body to confirm that he is in fact dead. I have no idea how often these requests actually get through but there must be enough of a reason to move forward with even requesting this. I saw it in the latest email, but here is a story

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/lawyers-for-quadrigacx-customers-ask-rcmp-to-exhume-body-of-gerald-cotten/ar-AAK6InL?li=AAggNb9
This is weird. The CEO of Quadriga Cx died suddenly and many people were suspicious of him faking to scam speculators who sent money into the exchange. I think this makes sense, lately there have been too many large exchanges that cheated people's money by fleeing or failing to resolve withdrawals for customers, ... if this is true I also want to be able to accurately confirm the cause of death and the image of this CEO. If everything is unclear then people will sue this business for tricks to cheat.
417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $5k? Tone Vays on: December 14, 2019, 10:33:32 AM
Hey, guys! Check this video where Tone Vays shares his opinion on future of Bitcoin's price. He considers that BTC will fall to $5k and will start growing just after that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qABFMlxnmFA
well, i know this guy before and he's one of the influencers in our crypto world. But I want you to know that no one can predict the future. If there are predictive formulas, the financial market will not exist because everyone wins and no one loses. I thought bitcoin would only hit $ 6k5 hard support and then bounce back and we can expect it to be an uptrend until the end of 2020.
418  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CEX Vs DEX ? on: December 14, 2019, 10:28:26 AM
Recently I have seen many people whining about exchange fraud and some of them stopped working and took away all investor money.

What are the requirements that people use to choose a good centralized exchange?

we are more likely to hear: big volume, many trading pairs and security. but they ignore the question of who owns the exchange and where the exchange is located. Many people accept use shady exchange, may be because they have some new altcoin only listed in obscure exchanges

As the the crypto market grow the regulations will increase and there will come a time that using centralized exchanges will be very safe because these centralized exchanges will be regulated and the market will be very competitive so that they will be required to provide high quality services if they want to survive in this Marketplace
but wait until when? We had hoped to get some legal organization to sponsor ICO projects but until now, it seems to be dead but no one cares yet. After 2 years of joining this market, I realized it was a market of self-awareness. meaning when we see something wrong and bad we should voluntarily leave it and look for a better place instead of suing them and screaming at them. That doesn't work, that's why I think people will choose DEXs in the future.
419  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CEX Vs DEX ? on: December 14, 2019, 10:17:49 AM
I see only correct way out in this difficult situation, it is trading on a centralized licensed exchange. Fraud in this case is reduced to zero, but all the advantages of a centralized exchange remain. Everyone appreciates the liquidity and fast operation of the site, this is what DEX lacks.
Yes, if I were to choose, I would still choose large CEXs to ensure the safety of my money. But the problem here is that DEXs all charge fees that are too high for CEXs, from transaction fees and transfers from normal wallets to trading wallets, which takes quite a bit of time and money. If in the future, someone recognizes the needs of traders and speculators, we will see a very good quality DEXs and will attract more people to it. I hope IDEX will do it in the future to change the bad situation of the market.
420  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CEX Vs DEX ? on: December 14, 2019, 10:13:04 AM
So with many incidents happening at CEX, will there be more people trading in DEX in 2020? Although trading at DEX costs more, it is safer for us and we do not need to make any KYC

I don't think that things are going to change dramatically in 2020

The incidents you mention (like scams, frauds, thefts, closures, etc) have been happening time and again since cryptocurrency exchanges ever came about (Bter, Cryptsy, Bitfinex, WEX, QuadrigaCX, to name but just a few). You would actually expect decentralized exchanges to get traction and momentum by now, right? I had written about this over 3 years ago, and not a lot has changed since then. So why should things turn out different in 2020? I'm very skeptical, to say the least. Sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear

I'm not sure how it is going to help you in case of a successful theft or hack attempt. And let's be honest here, it is not a panacea from outright scams and frauds, either
but things can change immediately if the crowd thinks so. Like the ICO-raising projects, they are all labeled as frauds and so potential projects face difficulties in this. That is also the reason why IEO was born and Binance has made the speculation community more confident, when capitalization into the crypto market was more than 100 billion in less than 1 month. and the IDAX event is a scam and Binance, Upbit have been hacked a lot of money this year, which means that CEXs are increasingly unstable and the crowd is psychologically looking for a safer place. Do you agree ?
