401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: fundraising question on: January 07, 2020, 07:54:59 AM
ICO is a fund raiser. As projects would say, they need funds to develop their product. Unfortunately for some lack funding so ICO campaigns are not successful. Some good projects on the other hand get a lot of funding due to having good tokens, great team members and advisors.

In the current market situation, the project must be really very good and must be created by professionals with extensive experience, otherwise it will certainly not be possible to raise funds.
Tokens are mainly used for speculation, but products may also be bought for them, as long as the project assumes that it will produce something.

In countries where there is no work or it is very poorly paid, this can be a very good source of income. Of course, spam does not require too much effort, but writing in English can also be an interesting form of language learning. I do not agree with it, but I do not claim that there are only bad sides.

Yup, I understand that there are legit posters in CT too. And also, getting paid to post on forums has its own appeal compared to other microjobs are more demanding yet pay peanuts.

At least users can be sure that they will receive payment. It often happens that someone performs some small tasks for many days or even weeks and finally the service turns out to be a scam.

Certainly a long way for Cryptotalk to turn into a source of reliable information, but if thanks to this users and forum owners will be satisfied, I think it is very good for the whole community.
403  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: History of Cryptotalk campaign on: January 06, 2020, 11:45:59 AM
People stay there just because of the rewards, even they paid for the spam post as and it's definitely doesn't make sense the content in every topic had.

At least, CT knows now how it feels the forum that has a full of spam feast as what they did here in Bitcointalk before.

Truth to be told, I did have some interest to join but I lost a few brain cells in the process, and had to give it a pass Cheesy

404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying Bitcoin in Iran? on: January 06, 2020, 11:09:32 AM
I think that in the event of a war in Iran, the easiest way to hide assets and eliminate their loss is to hide them on the internet. It is better to send BTC to an account on Coinbase, for example, rather than risk requisitioning assets for the purposes of subsidizing the army. Even if the BTC price is twice as high there, it is better to lose half than everything. Unfortunately, but during armed conflicts, the law does not protect citizens.
405  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: History of Cryptotalk campaign on: January 06, 2020, 10:38:07 AM

I do not think that the decision to pay for posts from 101 was wrong or abuse.
It was when they start paying from lower number of posts that Cryptotalk was one big spam incubator.

It was easy to see how things would turn out by not implementing a threshold. Like you said, back when I browsed CT, most posts were at at least 100 chars.

But with the current state, there's a better control over the spamfest.

" Those who live by the sword, die by the sword. "  Wink

However, I'm not entirely sure ... I think they were aware of how it works and how it will end. I think this is a long-term project and, as a consequence, they are trying to create competition for Bitcointalk. I wonder how long they will try and will it ever work out...?  Roll Eyes

But with the high levels of abuse, Cryptotalk has only enabled payments from the 101th post.

407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Low allocation bounty pools pays easily? on: January 05, 2020, 05:03:50 PM
The problem with the large allocation in the bounty pool is that after the listing, many bounty hunters want to sell tokens as soon as possible. It is a race who will be the first to sell. Because of this, the larger the bounty pool, the more likely the price will fall more. I think it is much more profitable to join bounty campaigns with a small bounty pool, as it is more likely that the price will fall less and we will earn more.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin Be a Good Investment in 2020 on: December 20, 2019, 02:52:38 PM
To be honest, I did not see any potential of Dogecoin, probably I will invest but in the last option of my decision that something there's nothing to invest aside from Dogecoin. The reason is Dogecoin did not have a fixed supply because this coin keeps growing amount due to it can be mine. There are also miners keep mining and the supply will increase and of course, it has become lesser. Long term investment will probably have insurance but in my own opinion, it is 50/50 to gain profit.

Dogecoin's strength is in a fantastic community that has been supporting this project for many years. It is Dogecoin that has the largest number of faucets of all Altcoins. That is why most new cryptocurrency users meet with Dogoecoin as the first Altcoin. I think that it is the popularity and sympathy of the community that makes the price of Dogecoin one of the most stable on the entire cryptocurrency market. If someone is thinking about a stable investment, I think Dogecoin will be a very good choice.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP repeat last 2017 bull run? on: December 20, 2019, 02:14:10 PM

However, in my own analysis, there might be less than 1% chance that it would happen again.

then why need to ask this when it is an insult of having 1% chance to make it again?but one thing i am sure here, you have no XRP holding thats why you can just say this kind of statements?

Do you think XRP will repeat its bull run like in 2017 in the near future or not?
when Bitcoin get the Bullrun next year i am very certain that XRP will make another Bull also, like ethereum and other truthful currencies.

For me it's not that possible for now while we're still not seeing good market bounce for btc price. That's only possible once there's an influence of bitcoin, eversince the market begun to have more fluctuating trend all following coins like xrp and also carried out by its increasing value.

It is possible that only an increase in the Bitcoin price would be enough for the bull run to start on the entire cryptocurrency market, but in my opinion more things must happen. First of all, the market needs to be better regulated to protect investors. XRP is regulated by banks, so it can be very attractive to investors and seem safe. When the bull run comes, I think many speculators will focus on XRP.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: fundraising question on: December 20, 2019, 10:41:24 AM
Unfortunately, ICO discredited themselves because of scam, failure to fulfill obligations to bounty hunters, investors. Yes, there were a lot of fairly successful fundraising for the development of the project, but the overall impression is perhaps negative.

I will not agree that the ICO has discredited itself. ICO has discredited investor ignorance. It has exposed how important education and basic knowledge about fundamental analysis are. ICO is a great tool to raise funds, but people who don't understand how it works shouldn't invest in it. Unfortunately, but most investors were blinded by panic buy and bull market. This consequently led to the disaster of the ICO market.
411  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk forum payment issue and many more on: December 20, 2019, 01:15:56 AM
Yes, this campaign is expected to continue for longer, but no one knows when this will end clearly, we will all receive the right payment.
Expected by whom?  It's not clear in my mind if it's going to end any day now or what.  I don't see how yobit can even keep paying all the cryptotalk forum participants at 1000 sats/post, not to even mention the campaign here promoting the site.

It was a week last time the button was stuck for longer than a couple of days, so I'm confident yobit will have the wallet topped off soon.  I cannot speak for them, of course and they're not speaking at all, but they've always been good for it in the end.

I have never participated in campaigns organized by Yobit before, but the statements of other users who previously cooperated with this exchange show that they have always fulfilled their obligations.
Situations like this (the stuck of instant claim button) are never pleasant to anyone, but I think Yobit would not make a bad surprise to his supporters before Christmas.
412  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk forum payment issue and many more on: December 20, 2019, 12:40:01 AM
There will be an announcement if they will stop their campaign but as far as I know yobit pays all their participant on their past campaigns and wallet draining is not an issue at all since they refill it once it is drained, and participant should extend their patience since for sure once yobit devs will see that they will refill their hot wallet again and for sure all participants will be happy again.

Very well said, and I think this time that the limit was only 5 per day, their campaign balance has also reduce so they will need to refill it from time to time.
It happened many times in the duration of the campaign thus far so people should not worry about this happening again.

Besides, if they will not continue the campaign and would not pay the participants, they know what would happen, the reputation they are building for cryptotalk would be destroyed easily, so they will not do that after they invest a decent amount of money for the campaign.

This makes sense, but I'm surprised that they don't let us know when the wallet will be refilled. Im sure it would be very good for the whole campaign. I think that not only I am worried about such a long wait, so if they wrote only a few words it would definitely improve the mood of all participants.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 15, 2019, 06:20:11 PM

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

No matter how cool the project looks, you should not invest in it at the first opportunity.Personally, I watch the project, its development and then invest. The fact that the project may seem very cool, but if there are any difficulties - just disappear. That's it!

At the beginning of 2017, investing at the very beginning was usually a great investment. Unfortunately, during the bear market many projects encountered unexpected difficulties, which you mentioned (mostly financial) and unfortunately just collapsed. This cannot be predicted 100%. However, you can eliminate a large risk element when you do our own analysis of, for example, the experience of people behind the project - have they already achieved any success in the industry. Thats for sure good advice for new investors.
414  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk forum payment issue and many more on: December 15, 2019, 05:39:22 PM
it seems the signature balance already run out? because i can't click the send balance right now

It looks like only Bitcointalk signature campaign balance is out of funds. For now, no one from the Cryptotalk forum - paid per post campaign reports any problems.
Let's hope that this is only a problem with one campaign and it will be solved fast.

because the rate for each forum is very different and you can see it by yourself
on cryptotalk you will earn 1k satoshi/post while on bitcointalk you can earn 20k satoshi/post if you rank legendary

But they are paying thousands of posters compare to the number of Bitcointalk participants, this is their own forum they have a huge allocation there than this forum, it took only 8 days before the wallet funds allocated funds for Bitcointalk campaign are emptied, hopefully it will not take a week or before the holiday season.
No one knows  on when they would refill the wallet yet only the team would have the full decision in regards to that. The thing here is that they do keep on refilling it even though it might take soo long.
This had been argued and been discussed for how many times but people arent really that satisfied and still make some discussion on when the balance would be refilled. We hope for it to be filled earlier
but who knows if it would be on next year or whatsoever, we dont have any choice but to wait.

Yobit has always delayed refilling wallet of campaigns. Everyone who took part in their campaigns got used to it. However, the truth is there may be a day when they say they are ending the campaign and they won't pay anything else. Personally, I hope it doesn't happen, but we can't be sure of anything.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚽ [ANN][ICO] MYTVchain - Live sports, powered by blockchain ⚽ on: December 15, 2019, 04:39:30 PM
In my opinion, the calculation should be as follows:

Example:

Number of received tokens 2500
Original price: $0.10
New price: $0.067

$0.10 * 2500 = $250
$0.067 * 2500 = $167.5

Difference in $ is $250 - $167.5 = $82,5

Compensation should be $82,5 / $0.067 =  1231.34 MYTV tokens

So for 2500 MYTV tokens received bounty compensation should be 1231.34 tokens

But there can be other mathematic - much easiest - 2500 *33% = 825 MYTV tokens

Let see which mathetatic is working correct.. Wink

The fact that there are different rates means nothing. If these are two different wallets, and they are different for sure, one of them drained the first, and in any moment the second may be empty also. We don't really know what costs Cryptotalk have on these campaigns and with what amount he refill each wallet. Let's hope they will have the funds for both campaigns as long as possible!
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO/IEO projects are lying to airdrop and bounty participants for a long time! on: December 15, 2019, 01:59:14 PM
How can it be lie? If the reference price is the same with investors buying it through ICO/IEO? Is it different price for them, I dont think so, the sentiment for value will be reflected on exchange trading and Projects are not to blame if its dump cause its the community decision to buy it at that price.

I think OP has forgotten about free market rights. Of course, the bounty rewards value is calculated based on the ICO / IEO / STO price. The fact that we currently have a deficit of investors on the market, and the prices of tokens are falling immediately after listing on exchange, is not the fault of developers, just the rights of the free market, i.e. demand and supply.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO/IEO projects are lying to airdrop and bounty participants for a long time! on: December 14, 2019, 05:00:04 PM
Airdrop project distribution faster than bounty cmapaign project where they only need one day for receiving coin from airdrop project, but airdrop just getting few coin and higher value if participated with bounty campaign although receive after ICO ended and bounty campaign finished, but for bounty campaign we have doing tas every day to received stake and get reward at the of bounty campaign.

Of course, you can earn more by participating in the bounty campaign. However, sometimes awarding too big rewards is not good for the project and investors, because bounty hunters sell them on the  exchange immediately and lower the price.

Message in telegram MyTVchain Official for Bounty Hunters:

Following our last attempt to launch our IEO in sept 25 2019, the value of our token has been set 0.067USD as we offered a 33% Bonus for participants.
As we are relaunching our Pre-IEO and IEO in Feb 2020, we call all bounty hunters who have participated to our campaign to contact us in order to receive a 33% compensation in MyTV tokens.
Thanks
The MyTVchain team.

Smiley seems like these guys are very correct..

And this is called a professional approach! Excellently!
Do bounty hunters need to fill out some google form to receive compensation, or maybe it will be done automatically to the addresses saved in bounty spreadsheet?
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO/IEO projects are lying to airdrop and bounty participants for a long time! on: December 14, 2019, 04:03:04 PM
The fact that projects are planning a roadmap does not mean that everything must go exactly as planned. Let's remember that this is still a very young market and there are really no experts able to direct every project to success. If there are changes in planned aidrops, they are usually caused by the fact that developers are adapting to the new conditions of the market.
