401  Other / Beginners & Help / Why do escrows offer no fees? on: July 21, 2014, 07:30:19 PM
Surely they are losing out because of the miner fees each time they said the transaction to the seller. Why would they not want fees to cover those expenses? They are losing out every time. Am I missing something?
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 467 Nodes in Network? on: July 21, 2014, 07:20:57 PM
There are thousands of Bitcoin nodes I was going to setup one up my self then realized it wouldn't make much of a difference with the amount which are already set up.
403  Other / New forum software / Re: Idea: Random user avatars by default on: July 21, 2014, 07:19:32 PM
I like this idea everyone complains about not having avatars. But, the user should be able opt for no avatar too.
404  Other / Off-topic / What game has the best soundtrack? on: July 21, 2014, 06:56:46 PM
I think the soundtrack can really help the player enjoy the game more. I used to love the sound track on GTA Vice City that was a fantastic sound track in my opinion.

406  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: July 21, 2014, 06:38:11 PM
Breaking Bad, best TV serie ever.

I couldn't disagree more breaking bad is so boring and I just don't know how it's so popular.
407  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [ANN] CDKeyspot | Buy your games now! | Cheaper than cheapest! on: July 21, 2014, 06:10:30 PM
Wow some good prices on the website. I'll wait for others to try out the service and post feedback though.
408  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Armory or Electrum? on: July 21, 2014, 06:07:27 PM
If you want your Bitcoin to be secure then you should use Armory otherwise if you aren't to bothered or don't know how to use the advanced features of the wallet then you should use Electrum as it's newbie friendly and pretty straight forward.
409  Other / Off-topic / Re: Blackphone - are you buying one? on: July 21, 2014, 06:02:08 PM
This can't be very successful with those prices for something which can easily be done with other phones (look at the previous posts).
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The best Bitcoin cold storage? on: July 21, 2014, 05:58:46 PM
I just have a paper wallet which is kept in a fire proof safe I think that's enough to be honest unless they manage to steal the safe and happen to know how to use a Bitcoin wallet.
411  Other / Meta / Re: what is it means ? on: July 21, 2014, 05:56:49 PM
what kind of other info and is it any way to recover from this kind of ban on this forum if it will happen with any account ?

Upload a image of the text stating you are banned. or just check if it has a duration if not its a permanent ban.  (search the forum there has been many incidents like this and also images you can refer too)
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for somebody to collect all bitcoins? on: July 21, 2014, 05:18:50 PM
They would have to purchase those Bitcoins from people who already have Bitcoin so they will be paying a lot of money to get those off people then if they did purchase lets say 100% of Bitcoins then the supply and demand of Bitcoin is not really there any more as 1 person owns the whole of Bitcoin.
413  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get money? on: July 21, 2014, 05:16:56 PM
I take 5% of every paycheck and put it into bitcoin. Once a month I trade cash --> bitcoin on LBC. Cool

I also take 10% of my paycheck and trade it in for Bitcoin been doing this method for a few months now and has been working out perfectly I don't spend so much fiat on crap now because I'm losing 10% well not losing but investing 10% every month.
414  Other / New forum software / Re: Reducing miscateogrized posts on: July 21, 2014, 05:14:34 PM

The system we have now to correct things manually upon identification is plenty good when you consider it requires no further changes to maintain.

It's not a massive problem anyway.
Oh, trust me: sometimes it is. Though it depends on the timeframe, but overall there are lots of posts that I move everyday. Some seem like honest mistakes, while some did that intentionally.

Back on topic, I think that even some rules can be enforced easier this way. For example a question: "Is this thread is about a website?" AND IF ANSWERED YES "Have you already made a thread about it?" would reduce on duplicate threads if the poster just didn't know the rules.

For duplicate threads, there is a solution! Simple display "relevant" threads when someone types in a title. This is what StackOverflow does.

I love this idea. I get confused easily sometimes when organizing my threads and putting them in the correct place. often people point out that I have posted in the wrong sub forum and they are often moved by staff.

@Nahtnam

I like this idea I have posted a few duplicate threads I know. but the main reason for that is because most of the other threads have a warning when trying to reply because the thread is to old. So if you want to add to discussion this wouldn't work. But if you are looking for a answer then this could work pretty well.

You are right Baitty. It isn't a good idea posting on an old topic but the feature helps a lot. The features justusranvier proposing is good. He has explained neatly on the feature but will it be added?

Half of the threads here are people asking questions.

+1.
I agree. Most of the questions they ask is already answered but they aren't willing to spend some time on searching it and also they want to increase their Activity and thus want to increase their Rank.
Kindly,
      MZ

I agree that something like this should be added but it needs to be fully looked into and iron out any bugs and issues.
415  Other / Off-topic / Re: Call Of Duty: Ghosts Vs Battlefield 4 on: July 21, 2014, 05:03:35 PM
Like I said before Battlefield I enjoyed BF4 when there was all that chaos about not being able to connect etc the campaign was great and multiplayer was better.
416  Other / Off-topic / Re: Boomrang website on: July 21, 2014, 05:02:03 PM

417  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar coming to an end on: July 21, 2014, 05:00:19 PM
Most of us will probably not be alive when the dollar collapses so it's not going to make much difference to us.
418  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 21, 2014, 04:45:59 PM
hello stunna

can you update the enrollment list for this month im really intrested in seeing it!
I think it would take a few weeks intervals for him to update. It isn't worth it to update every few days just to key in some newly enrolled members. If they filled the form correctly, they are in.
He should do it every 2 weeks so people have plenty of time to reenroll if they have too.
419  Economy / Services / Re: 0.25 BTC Bounty - Dox of Vod / mlawrence on: July 21, 2014, 04:44:34 PM
While I think Vod takes negative trusting people to far, a dox of him isn't right either. He doesn't give people the benefit of the doubt. If it looks like a scam, post that in their thread. Don't give them a neg trust that shows up to everyone since your in the default trust settings. Neg trust should only be given to trolls, known scammers, or obvious scam attempts. A user looking to sell their account is NOT a negative trust offense (the forum allows it), and neither is users looking for loans

It's just a warning to people in fact Vod & others do this all the time and if it turns out it wasn't a scam they normally remove it and if the person who they have negative repped has a problem they can just message the person who gave them it to try and resolve the issue. Honestly, the people who are on the default trusted list and are negative repping scammers are helping the community.

OP, I don't know to much about your situation and what I do know I don't know who to believe as there seems there was a bit of confusion with the trust giving reason.
420  Other / Off-topic / Re: What System You Use on: July 21, 2014, 04:38:43 PM
I'm some what surprised that the majority are windows 7 users though only a small amount of people are using other operating systems. I would of thought that people would be storing their Bitcoin on Linux based machines for security purposes.

We should be able to vote for multiple operating systems as I have a dual boot system and a few old computers (backing to windows 2000).
