So I haven't been able to read all 95 pages of this thread, but what do you guys think of the cloud mining?  Is it okay?  Just curious.  Thanks in advance.

Probably the most reliable and safe cloud mining you could invest in. As for ROI well that all depends on buy in price as well as difficulty and btc price.
403  Economy / Digital goods / Re: The Collapse of the Bitcoin Generator Bot on: March 14, 2015, 03:29:44 PM
The interesting part is going through his transactions (wallet) lead me to a wallet, a single wallet with over $900k in BTC.
We may never know who he was but he sure did teach us a lesson.

That is very interesting. I am wondering if he had many of these "scams" or if he is just a wealthy person

Dear Users,

Recently, maybe you can not login hashnest.com smothly due to DDoS attacking, however the miners are mining perfectly in the private network, so mining payouts as usual will not be affected.

Thanks for all your support and patience.

Janet

THanks for the update this includes all hashnest contracts and miners?
405  Economy / Digital goods / Re: The Collapse of the Bitcoin Generator Bot on: March 14, 2015, 12:17:13 AM
What this bot? Never heard of it.

It's a macro script to drain faucets and the owner of the script sold around 11 BTC worth of script.

Nice bot i like the idea of draining the faucets who pay the peanuts like slave labor, also he done ok with that script didn't he. Shame i never see it or i would have probably brought one as well Smiley How much was the charge?

It was originally 1.49 but it seems most people bought it when it was BTC0.49(discounted).

I personally think it was a pretty stupid scam because most people still owes rich BTC1 each. If he stayed legit, then anything could happen Smiley

I dont know sustainable a bot like that is without constantly having to modify the script once its that public. I am sure he made a good amount of btc giving out a bot that probably would never last long enough to make him the money he just made.
406  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: March 13, 2015, 11:33:31 PM
I have 36Th/s in my other account and at the moment 0.04708062 btc this is 30-40% more than last week payment, so I think they have some recovery program working.
I truly wish that the payments will grow every week like now and I can start to do the things I have planned!!

I doubt it if they did they would definitely announce it to easy people's mind

Sad that the site was smooth for half a day and then down again  Undecided
408  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: March 13, 2015, 07:15:23 PM
let us sell our shares for the market value that is listed now without the value decreasing as we dump our shares

That's like three contradictions in half a sentence.

Nobody would buy it. Well, there could be some opportunistic crazies that would maybe pay a few satoshis.

There is always a more gullible sucker I am sure people will buy but for a lot lower.
409  Economy / Digital goods / Re: The Collapse of the Bitcoin Generator Bot on: March 13, 2015, 02:47:52 PM
My main concern and what stopped me from purchasing this script is how easy it would be to block it. Changing the faucet just slightly would cause a macro script to stop working. The video showing the bot working is one of the biggest faults since the owners (who we assume use btctalk) can watch the video and easily find the bot patterns (range in pause delays, repetition, etc). Hopefully he provides good support and will provide updates to the macros.

site is working great with the DDOS prevention. Smooth and not crashes also very responsive. Great job!
411  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: March 12, 2015, 12:51:22 PM
still nothing from AMhash.  Undecided If he was infact kidnapped why keep it quiet. I dont know how all that equipment could be stolen and kept quiet until they wanted it out is very improbable. Something just doesnt add up...
412  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: March 12, 2015, 12:42:53 PM
HashNest is offline now for maintenance, the normal service will be resumed approximately at 5 p.m. Beijing Time (UTC+8).  Your mining payouts will not be affected.

thanks for the update. Hopefully once its back it will be stable like before all these DDOS attacks

414  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] MSDN admin account $125 and invite $40 on: March 12, 2015, 02:53:29 AM
Admin account for MSDN ? sure that not gonna get banned or suspended being it is an admin account sounds like that is an hacked admin account if listing to be sold generally never seen admin accounts ever for sale.

What are you talking about look at all the other threads they are all selling MSDN invites and admin accounts. How do you think the MS keys that tons of people on this forum are getting come from? THe accounts are not hacked but created. I learned the method people on this forum use and do it myself.
415  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase. :-( on: March 12, 2015, 01:37:41 AM
yeah i use coinbase as well, and they do seem to try to fuck you over or try not to be fucked over if there are sudden price increases and sales... you are better off looking for a faster bitcoin exchange.

would it be faster if you used money in your coinbase's USD wallet?

using coinbase USD wallet to buy bitcoins is instant. I have used it back and forth and it does not count toward my instant buy limit. Coinbase is pretty good at detecting accounts that are linked to illegal activities. I know a lot of people complained when coinbase constantly rejected their orders and it turned out a lot of them were former silkroad customers. If your account was ever linked to silkroad your automatically a high risk (creating a new account will not solve this).

They should compensate the downtime and then some but lets see what they will do. I believe they advertised it as that

1 admin and 1 invite left
418  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: March 11, 2015, 09:08:30 PM

Of course.

You all realize that Hashnest is on Antpool right? When Antpool is down we are not mining. Look at the homepage of antpool and you will see the drop offs in Hashrate. Compare that to long times between blocks.
With 1 block found in 8 hours it looks like it is starting to go way beyond bad luck and we are experiencing less then 100% uptime.

Will see how it all pans out when we know more.
It depends what part of antpool is down. IF its the frontend it wont affect us but the backend or the whole server would
419  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] ALL AMAZON.COM GIFT CARDS OR PROXY BUY on: March 11, 2015, 06:27:05 PM
I think this transaction should just not go through too much risk on both ends. OP: If someone has that much amount of giftcards they want to sell most likely stolen or carded gift cards. Sellers: Accepting paypal is just foolish easy way to chargeback.
420  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase. :-( on: March 11, 2015, 03:36:08 PM
Back when I first created a coinbase account about 2 years ago they cancelled one of my orders. Since then I never bought more than my instant buy allowed in a week ($1k) and its never been cancelled. I think they have a strict high risk order algorithm that could be more laxed. But for long time customers I doubt they are having any of these problems and if so should call coinbase. I called a long time ago and they "whitelisted" my account to prevent this from ever happening again. Whether they still do this I am not sure since this was back when they were in the infant stages.
