With the way difficulty has been going its a great time to be a bitcoin miner and make an ROI on any reliable machine

I received payment late friday like usual by the way this belongs in service discussion not digital goods
863  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 14, 2014, 09:59:50 PM
If he can actually manage to get payments gradually up each week I would be forgiving since it was 10% this week next week 20% and so on and so forth. That would be more reasonable assuming he is telling the truth that something bad happen with his "mining" operation.
864  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Old Bitcoin address to dig for clams on: December 14, 2014, 09:55:17 PM
I am offering 0.01 btc per bitcoin address to dig for the altcoin clams. You must give me the address and private key. Obviously you might want to make sure the address is empty but does not matter since I am only using it for this purpose. The address must be older than May 2014 and have had some small balance on it in May. Escrow is accepted but I will not go first unless you have more trust than me.

867  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Selling] Premium $100 Starbucks Cards for 30% (WILL NOT GET ZEROED OUT) on: December 14, 2014, 03:06:28 AM

868  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] BTC Address Created in 2012 on: December 14, 2014, 12:52:49 AM

869  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Im new, but best way to get started... on: December 13, 2014, 10:08:31 PM
If you have btc my recommendation is going with a cloud company like hashnest that is reliable. If you really want a physical miner go with either spondoolies or bitmain s4s possibly.

Hello dooglus ,

I have a doge address
http://dogechain.info/address/D9n9tjJPfp3z9NgvQQ76kpJ6BJwGukE8TY

But it said  DOGE address [D9n9tjJP] was not funded on 12th May 2014

What's the problem ?

Did you have more than dust in the DOGE account around that time. I had a few ltc address around then too but they were empty sadly so no CLAMs were there. Dooglus did not determine who got clams in the address or not it was the dev of the coin
871  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: December 13, 2014, 03:09:55 PM
WOW it got so quiet up in this forum is noone using hashnest anymore?  Huh

I think there arent much problems with hashnest on top of the low amount of people using it. IF you look at daily transactions for almost all except UMISSO they are very small compared to other cloud miners. Payouts have been good for the most part. Remember people tend to post a lot when they have problems compared to when everything is smooth (like poster above me mentioned PBmining)
872  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: What do you think of coinbase.com? on: December 13, 2014, 03:07:53 PM
CoinBase is good trading platform, but there is not ANY trusted or reliable website on the internet. Are you remember Mt. Gox or MintPal?  Wink

There are some huge differences Coinbase is US based and deals with fiat not like Gox which was more of an exchange. Coinbase has liability and it will be held accountable since they are a US registered business. Also the idea of Coinbase going under is very very unlikely unless bitcoin collapses completely. Remember coinbase and bitpay have huge accounts like tigerdirect, dell, overstock, and now microsoft.
873  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Miner for beginner on: December 13, 2014, 05:10:12 AM
Bitcoin miner might be nice but I would say go with a scrypt miner if you really want to learn. Gives more options to test different coins out and playing markets and what not. Can probably get a gridseed blade for around 100 now and that is more than enough to mine some of the crappier coins out there.

What happened to payouts it dropped like a rock. My payout got cut almost in half from a week ago :/ All I have is qasic shares and dual mods. VTC take that much of a dump?

hi i just upgrade wallet last version, take 16 conections but keep unsynck and normal sincronizing bar not appear, but i can see my 7 clams coins in wallet

is running good?

--solved : i download bootstrap.dat restart wallet and start to sync normally

I did the same but syncs very slowly. This happen for anyone else? Been a few hours and im at almost 50% only. I have 100mbps internet connection on a fast desktop.

If you use the bootstrap.dat file, it doesn't need to sync since all the blocks are in the file. Are you sure you used the bootstrap.dat file? You need to put it in your CLAM data folder - the same place as your CLAM wallet.dat, then restart the client.

Realized I placed it in the wrong folder duh lol I fixed it and took about 30 minutes more and I am finally all syncs dumb mistake for me
876  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A few questions about cloud mining. on: December 12, 2014, 11:43:31 PM
I personally thing the best cloud miner right now is LTCgear. The ROI is the best and payouts have been quick and easy. There is no real transparency so it can be risky (similar to pbmining recently and the owner's shady stuff) so that is up to you. I invested knowing this but already made 110-120% ROI (so 10-20% profit). Other decent companies are AMhash (I would go direct or through havelock and avoid hashie since whether they are legit still remains unclear). Another good one that I invested in is bitmain's newly aquired snowball.io which is now hashnest.com. I would recommend any of the above, CEX is another company but profitability is extremely slim although they are well established.
877  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 12, 2014, 11:37:05 PM
Now that the timeline schedule was released things will get interesting and lets see how quick people dump this coin cuz they are fedup with GAW. ALthough it will be interesting since there are a lot of fanboys who are blindly following GAW still (not sure why).
878  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 12, 2014, 10:47:41 PM
if we buy from AMHASH direct from the website is it going to eventually be transferred to havelock or hashie?

I ended up buying directly from havelock, the purchase process from amhash directly looked too complicated.  I bought from havelock in under an hour, seamless and with email confirmations to boot.  If amhash could have a bit better of an ordering process, i'd order directly from them.

Its easy, send payment to the public payment address for x amount of units at and then email them signing a unique message for the address you sent the payment from. Divs will then be paid directly to that address
yeah see i dont like that why cant i have my address where i can deposit when i want even at 3am and buy. I dont like 1 big address for all then email them and then you get credited  Shocked

If they want to go direct that is fine cut out the middleman but they need to have a more sophisticated system like you said with unique addresses and more or less real time mining and not payment once a day only

Coinbase is excellent I have been with them for a year and a half now. Support helped with the very few issues I did have but otherwise I can buy and sell bitcoin almost instantly and have many times. The online wallet is also secure and works great to store my bitcoin.
