How long until those 3 antminers will be received since the vote was yes and we got a discount. The reason I ask is because batch 4 antminers are going to be cheaper than the discount and is shipping after the first week of may.

SO far I have no payouts or any bitcoins that accumulated.
1206  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] Android App Beta Testers (0.1BTC) on: April 27, 2014, 04:39:41 AM
I am currently beta testing the app. I ran into a few bugs but they were fixed in the new version. Overall the app is very impressive. It makes trading on the supported exchanges extremely easy than using a phone's browser. The graphs it displays are nice and remind me of bitcoinwisdom. It allows various time plotted graphs (5 min, 15 min, 30 min, etc). The app even gives access to the btc-e chatbox and has price notifications. I am very impressed with this app and the very few bugs experiences considering it is in beta. This app has it all and can replace the functions of many other apps.
1207  Economy / Services / Re: Android App Beta Testers (0.1BTC) on: April 25, 2014, 05:20:50 PM
I had my concerns and doubts about this beta test. The OP and I had a conversation through PM and he seems like a genuine guy. Needless to say I am going to beta test this app and will let everyone know how it turns out.
1208  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: April 25, 2014, 02:03:10 AM
What pool does PB mine on?  Do we have any input on where hashrate is pointed? What proof is there of ownership of hashrate?

Absolutely no information on that, they refuse to tell us. These questions have been asked many times lol.

I did try and scan the last 4-5 pages of the thread and didn't see anything.  Apologies for beating a dead horse  Cheesy

Price is attractive but need more transparency for me to be a customer...

Expect no transparency.

When asked reasonable questions regarding concerns of this being a ponzi scheme (for which there are several indications), their response was "contact law enforcement".
Which of course won't help much, as they hide their identity as well.

You can't exactly have an eBay account with the # of sales we do without having identity revealed.  Paypal even requires identity verification.  Our identity WAS revealed to the public at one point, actually, and we ended up retracting our transparency due to some disturbing events which occured.  Our stance on the subject has not changed.  We stand strong to protect the identities of our employees and to protect this operation.  As we continue to heighten our security, we will gradually become more transparent again.  Smiley

So just to clarify i was one of the first customers and bought hashing power on ebay. I looked at my paypal transaction statement and a name is given on it and says non-us paypal verified. Can I assume this person's name is legitimate and is you?
1209  Economy / Services / Re: Android App Beta Testers (0.1BTC) on: April 25, 2014, 01:35:20 AM
I am interested in beta testing your app and meet all requirements. I use a few of those exchange but my only concern is if this app requires API keys to access these exchanges.

1211  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: April 24, 2014, 02:36:07 AM
As sad as it may seem, most of what you have said is not applicable to the average Joe looking to buy cloud mining power and not get scammed (i.e CEX at least is not a scam and is very reliable in that sense). Also there is still nothing quite like it the trading platform is awesome.

Having said that though please do check your PM.

EDIT: if anyone wants to read our (highly controversial!) CEX review they can do so here: http://cloudminingreport.com/reviews/cloud-mining-bitcoin-namecoin-devcoin-and-ixcoin-with-cex-io/

I used to be very pro-CEX.io, but they simply don't care about the users.   They users are there for one thing, to provide then with fresh btc.

I left after they suddenly decided to turn on 2FA for everyone and I was locked out my account for hours because their software couldn't handle the load.  That triggered a major slide in the price of GHS and I ended up losing btc.  CEX.io customer support response to that was "Oh we had a bug, everything is fine now."

I went to scrypt.cc with is about 1000 times better than CEX.io could ever hope to be when it comes to what matters, making a real mining profit.

while I do not like CEX anymore either and I used to be pro-CEX as well scrypt.cc is not very good either. I tried them out for a week or two and they have a long way to go. THe price per kh does drop and fluctate just as much as cex (even though people on this forum said otherwise). Also their is no charts since its being "optimized" for a while now and trading on that site has a pretty bad delay for both buy and sell orders as well as when you cancel orders
1212  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: April 23, 2014, 09:16:29 PM
Evidence??? note they no longer post how much hashing power they mine or their payouts.

It's on their main page, 159.5TH

As for that other comment about the guy saying he has broke even, yeah that IS a bunch of crap, I have had 125GH since March 3rd.

I have been paid back (including tonight's incoming payout) 0.487BTC.

I invested 1.24BTC

Also, every single one of my 11 payments as I bought in pieces, the amount ends in 238.....very strange lol I just saw that as I went back thru my blockchain.

You were expecting to break even in 40 days........ Roll Eyes  No wonder your accusing them of being a scam.
Please, point me in the direction of your secret miners that yield the results you were expecting for a price of 0.487 btc.

I think you misunderstood my comment sir, I stated I have been paid back 0.487 OF MY 1.24BTC.....I am far from breaking even, and so far I don't believe it's a scam, until I lose the rest if they pack it up today. I'm getting closer and closer to recouping 50% of my investment, and I stated the previous guy saying he broke even already, was full of crap.

I am actually almost even on my initial few gh investments back in the end of jan/ begin of feb so some people are almost ROI
1213  Economy / Services / Pbmining Referral Bonus. Get GH for a discount on: April 23, 2014, 01:50:57 PM
I am willing to offer a bonus for any NEW referral I receive. I will pay you a one time UPFRONT amount of bitcoin based on your purchase. This will essentially give you a decent discount on your hash rate. The discount is based on the amount of gigahash purchased. To qualify join using my referral link http://pbmining.com?ref=ajw7989 and then simply PM me your customer ID number, the amount of gigahash you purchased, and your wallet address where you would like your bitcoin sent to. All payouts will be paid 24-48 hours after your PM to ensure your purchase was not "accidental".

Tier 1 - Purchase 1-20 gh --> 10% UPFRONT cost returned
Tier 2 - Purchase 20-99 gh --> 15% UPFRONT cost returned
Tier 3 - Purchase 100gh+ --> 20% UPFRONT cost returned

The bonus is proactive and I will pay you for any further gh you purchase at a later date for as long as I am running this promotion. Your tier level is based on the total gh you purchase not the amount at one time. So if you purchase 50 gh today you will be in tier 2 but then you purchase another 50 gh a week later you will be in tier 3 (however the 20% will only be for the 50 gh that pushed you into the new tier). Feel free to ask me any questions and I hope this promotion can work out well for everyone.
1214  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: April 22, 2014, 05:37:37 PM
The point is they need to update their site and mention about the trade fees. The market value of btc is adjusting accordingly and crashing. Their maintenance fee is too crazy so maybe they no longer care if the price is more along market value since they get trade fees and 30% of all hash power they gave out. The only way i would even consider cex a good buy is if it drops to the market value of .006ish by the end of the month
1215  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: April 21, 2014, 08:02:02 PM
I would recommend staying away from CEX now that there is a trading fee as well as a 30% maintenance fee. If the price per gh was at market value I might consider it but being above the value is ridiculous
1216  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Amazon Gift Card Codes on: April 21, 2014, 04:50:11 PM
10$ and 50$ to be sold.

I did not realize that these cannot be used for amazon.co.uk  Cry

Selling at bitstamp/USD price on date of purchase + 5% discount

FYI these will never sell people are selling them for 10-20% discount. I personally have tried to sell them for 10% and its almost impossible to get anyone to bite these days.
1217  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUY BTC w/ Paypal/OKPAY/EGOPAY/WEBMONEY/PERFECTMONEY/DWOLLA/SWIFT on: April 21, 2014, 02:07:53 PM
I would be interested in buying btc with paypal as well let me know the stipulations around the transaction. I am assuming you will not make anyone go first and that either you would send first or escrow would be used.

1219  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: April 20, 2014, 05:07:56 PM
So far I can comment and say transaction went smooth both as a buyer and seller. I bought something for someone they received the item and released the bitcoin to me no problems. I just put in a buy order as well and someone fulfilled it and it should be shipping out soon. Great service and reasonable fees hopefully they stay reasonable. Highly recommended we just need more order volume
