1303  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How safe is Coinbase? on: March 22, 2014, 10:28:01 PM
Coinbase is pretty safe in my opinion and like others said I would say the safest of the online wallets. Recently they have hired some facebook and amazon people to bolster security. The texting your phone before logging into your account helps a lot since I caught people trying to log into my account a few times. In terms of reputation I have had 1-2 problems with them but thats it and they were fixed rather quickly. I have been dealing with them for a long time now.
1304  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining difficulty slowing down over the next 3 months? on: March 22, 2014, 01:27:12 PM
like previous people said the difficulty increase has not been huge yet because the newer bigger 1th+ machines have not shipped yet. HOwever this is going to start occuring next month when bitmain ships the s2 1th machines. Once they start they will continue to ship every week or so and the difficulty increase will start shooting up. Once the competition joins in expect it to go up further. In my opinion a lot of the older machines will become unprofitable with the way bitcoin price is currently.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MARKETS.CX - First Litecoin cloud mining platform - buy and sell KHS/LTC on: March 22, 2014, 02:32:06 AM

1306  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Hashop.io - Bitcoin Cloud Mining. on: March 22, 2014, 02:28:41 AM
facebook seems dead and your post count is nothing besides these 2. How about you start selling gh on ebay or offer something that offers protection to the buyer. Sorry but way too many cloud mining scams lately. Earn some reputation if you want to succeed.

1308  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Mining-profit.com — Bitcoin mining calculator. Precise and convenient. on: March 21, 2014, 05:32:15 AM
site and options definitely looks interesting. the only thing that I do not like is the basic calculator that just tells you the amount of bit coins mined. This serves no purpose since no time frame is given. At least include that in the basic calculator and maybe a difficulty increase % or something. The advanced calculator is definitely nice and seems much more useful. Other than that looks great keep up the good work.
1309  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S1 hashing Extremely Slowly on: March 21, 2014, 12:55:35 AM
how old is the antminer? Have you updated the software to the most recent (about a month ago). the interface should not be that slow. Is there enough power to the device in terms of the psu and the wall outlet they are plugged into. Try turning off the good ones and seeing if the bad runs still run slow (power issue). Also make sure your internet connection/ router can handle the traffic is your other devices running smooth?
1310  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox has announced they "found" 200k BTC (we all knew already, didn't we) on: March 21, 2014, 12:48:09 AM
well this is good news hopefully they will do the right thing and refund the customers. I am not sure if they are legally responsible to refund customers because didnt they declare bankruptcy not sure on all the laws.

1314  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: March 20, 2014, 02:19:32 PM
wish these miners were more reasonably priced. Seems like a lot of money for 1th with this difficulty and once these are released the difficulty is going to start going up high again (20%+). Unless the price of bitcoin goes up quickly I do not see a value in buying these.
1315  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcointa.lk, the Bitcointalk community with a 2014 forum software on: March 20, 2014, 02:07:43 PM
the software does indeed look nice but my biggest gripe is that you ripped off the name of this forum with just a . added
