1081  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: September 07, 2014, 02:33:42 AM
So i went to the " miner section " clicked on Antminer S2 and bought some GHS . I jut want to know what is the difference between clicking on individual miners like S1, S2 or S3 and buying them there instead of buying them right from the front page? Also weird question where it says "Fees/Earnings " 60%  does that mean 60% will go to fees like maintanance and electricity OR does it mean i will get 60% and they get 40% ? Someone please answer this questions if you can i am thinking of switching atleast 2 btc worth here from cex.io.

60% means that is how much the fees/maintenance is. Fees/Earnings = 60/100 = .6 or 60%. I am assuming you are looking at the S1 miners. I know this seems high but compared to cex it actually is lower. Hopefully at some point it will go down but we need the price of bitcoin to rise for this to happen. Each difficulty you will see this percent increase.
1082  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Free $5 in Bitcoins from Coinbase! on: September 07, 2014, 02:31:34 AM
Unfortunately I do not see a bitcoin button to get free bitcoin. My information has been verified for about a year now. SO I guess no free bitcoin for me :/
1083  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Bitcoin Crypto Exchange & Cloud mining official page*** on: September 06, 2014, 03:33:47 AM
Great addition to have more coins however the price and maintenance fees need to come down to stay in line with the competition (hashnest and gaw)

I just received my free 1 gh today and I was a user when it was snowball.io
1085  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - innovative professional cryptocurrency cloud mining service on: September 05, 2014, 10:42:41 PM
I am new to Nice/WestHash. I have pointed my miners at WestHash and was wondering if there is a way to view my miner's stats.
I understand someone is renting my hashing power, but is there a way to view my miners performance and make sure it is registering correctly?

https://westhash.com/index.jsp?p=miners

like he said except you must know the bitcoin address you send payments to as this serves as your username.  you can also go to the main site westhash.com and click on miners then list
1086  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What is the best profitable hardware to buy right now besides butterflylabs? on: September 05, 2014, 02:09:17 AM
Right now no hardware can make an ROI. Like other posters said the best is to buy btc and hope for it to rise.
1087  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining, profitable or not? on: September 04, 2014, 11:26:13 PM
Cloud Mining can be profitable depending when you get in. Many people who started cloudmining with pbming (like me) in the beginning already reached ROI and now it is all profit. You have to do your own calculations including a little luck based on how you think the difficulty will go (based on new miners coming out etc)

1089  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] 20$ = Starbucks eGift Card $100 Store USA on: September 04, 2014, 12:37:34 AM
Anyone tried this yet? Take the GC over to starbucks and buy another gift card with your virtual balance. Its untraceable unlike a transfer, because on the card it just shows up as an instore purchase, and starbucks can't trace the card number off that. When I bought a couple hundred $ worth of GCs from nahtnam for my family I did this just to be safe, and no problems yet, but his cards are pretty legit.

Not true. When you buy another card it leaves a trail. THe receipt itself says you paid with another giftcard and gives the number. If the card is reported stolen or whatever they remove that balance any balance that was used with it.
1090  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Additional forums other than BitcoinTalk ? on: September 03, 2014, 06:23:11 PM
hashtalk seems to be decent but its mainly gaw
1091  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: First experience with GawMiners. Would appreciate input. on: September 03, 2014, 06:22:00 PM
i bought a physical miner from them a while back and 3 hashlets before there were solo and primes. I had no problems at all. you should try hashtalk.org since that seems to be where the bulk of gaw is
1092  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: September 03, 2014, 01:53:25 AM
I would avoid buying amazon gift cards or anything digital that can be retracted from purse.io. There is no recourse on amazon's perspective since the item was gifted to you so to speak. Just buy physical items which I did many times and had no problems (though this was months ago when purse.io was new and probably not full of a lot of scammers)
1093  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Zenminer issues? on: September 03, 2014, 01:37:14 AM
hopefully soon zenminer opens up market trading then you can always sell the hashlets back. Give them sometime hopefully they will resolve all these issues
1094  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: September 02, 2014, 11:09:46 PM
Bitmain already stated once all the subscription gh is sold they will open the market up and allow buying and selling
1095  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANN: BITMAIN announces Cloud Hash Platform-HASHNEST.COM on: September 02, 2014, 02:57:01 AM
I have been with the site before when it was called Snowball.io. Essentially you are buying real mining shares of bitmain miners. Each share ideally correlates to a gh but it is not always the case (like with the S3). When you own the share you own it much like the new hashlets from GAW. They are yours until they are taken offline which will be when they are no longer profitable and the maintenance fees are greater than the return. The nice side is you can sell the share back whenever you please. It is much like CEX.IO except the maintenance fees are lower since they are based in China.
1096  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAWMiner Hashlet Prime and Hashlet Solo announced on: September 01, 2014, 09:12:43 PM
The different prices could mean a number of things. A dollar more could be nothing and just be based on today's payouts (so it might change if another one pays out more in a 24 hr avg). Also I wonder if all the hashlet miners are mining at these pools or if they mine them all at one pool but just payout based on the avg at each pool. This would essentially allow GAW to pocket the extra payout (difference between zen and waffle for example)
1097  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [wts] $100 starbucks giftcards for $30 on: September 01, 2014, 06:51:55 PM
Bump sold 2 via PM I have 1 more left if anyone wants $30
1098  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANN: BITMAIN announces Cloud Hash Platform-HASHNEST.COM on: September 01, 2014, 02:56:07 PM
Great surprise when I found out bitmain bought snowball.io I thought snowball.io had a great concept and I had very few problems with them but their support was lacking. Now that bitmain took it over I am sure they will have much better support and help improve an already great platform and idea.
1099  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $301 USD worth of Southwest vouchers on: September 01, 2014, 02:54:13 PM
I have $301 USD worth of Southwest (airline) vouchers that I probably won't be able to use.  They need to be "flown" by 9/21/2014.

I'm selling at face value for BTC.  At current price that's about 0.63 BTC.

M

Does the voucher need to be flown by or booked by 9/21?
