Update

We have provided Bter today with a Crypti node (including their own testnet), and an API documentation, so Bter could integrate Crypti towards the mainnet launch. Having the API in RESTful form, should enable an easy and fast integration of Crypti nodes both on Bter, and on other exchanges in the future.

This Crypti node (with a mainnet), will also be available for a public download after the launch.

We also preparing a changelog that will list all the important features and improvements performed towards the launch version.

Just got the idea of apps.  Shocked
This means Crypti will be like iTunes Store! Wow  Shocked

This is one of the directions that we are indeed considering.

if so what about 1000 free coins for every online wallet?

It's only testnet Cryptis. On mainnet there won't be such possibility.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypti | Launch August | 100% POS | New Source | Early trading has begun! on: August 04, 2014, 04:54:23 PM
Is this correct that blockcain exists without genesis block and when it gets issued, network will upbuild into the mainnet? Whereby coins that has not been distributed in the pre-sale will be proportionally send to the online wallets. If all coins distributed then no coins for the free offer. Right? And one more question, how soon will POS kick in after genesis block gets issued?

Currently it's a testnet, with test genesis running on the main node.
We will launch mainnet together with the genesis distribution. All the 85M will be distributed to Bter and Maxmint buyers, while the 15M will go to the Foundation address.

PoS will kick-in immediately, and we will provide links to nodes downloads as well.

We have just added Crypti to Cryptonator's services, which means you can use all its free features now

Should you own an iPhone or an Android device, we also have all these in our free mobile apps for iOS / Android

Thanks!
Awesome mobile app btw, I just was looking for such one.

Is there even a wallet yet?

Demo is available since the pre-sale start (quite outdated, new demo will be launched in a few days):

I have exchanged my 0.2 BTC worth of XCR from maxmint escrow (bonus was 29 or 30%) to Bter and received 22846.2409 XCR - can someone confirm it is correct amount?

Yes, all Maxmint transactions are passing through us for confirmation, you are also welcome to check on ledger as well.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypti | Launch August | 100% POS | New Source | Early trade begins! on: August 03, 2014, 12:20:42 PM
indeed, most of ROI had goto devs pocket. but i must thank the things dev had did and to do .

Just a quick note to set the facts right, Crypti launch team has not received yet any funds not from Bter nor from Maxmint, and will request them only after the mainnet launch.

Also our own stake in Crypti is vested, and will be only gradually released starting the mainnet launch.

Our own ROI is directly connected to our long term commitment to Crypti.

Better communication may have helped, but again, your main mistake was expecting the poll to really mean anything. You should have paid more attention to what people were saying in that actual thread, and I don't mean the one sentence replies asking repeatedly when the coin would go on sale ... like they were sitting at a vegas table. The reasons why people said this was a bad idea was all that mattered. There were ways around it, go over the cap, use your own coins to cover over the cap people, and so on ... but really if you wanted to break the rules to allow early trading, you should have also figured out a solution for all of those people hurt by that decision too.

Anyway, as you say, consider it a learning experience.

Thanks for the feedback, it certainly helps to hear a thoughtful criticism of how we could have handled it better.

We are very welcoming such kind of feedback, and will apply it as we move forward.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypti | Release July | 100% POS | New Source | IPO Started on: August 01, 2014, 04:18:37 PM
The early sale was done, so we will just have to live with it. Breaking the rules of the IPO may not look so great, and for precisely the reason that BEECoinFan mentioned. Those over the cap and with a chance of still getting IPO coins then had no chance whatsoever.

As I just have PM'ed BEECoinFan, our main goal with this move was to protect the buyers, looking to swap their Bter accounts. We felt it's a reasonable compromise to slightly advance the trades (due to Bter being the major genesis block destination), especially after seeing the poll thread responses.  It also why we did our best to refund these who had their CRSALE pending ASAP, so they could get their BTC back for other opportunities.

I do agree that we could have communicated it better, and perhaps the outcome of the opinions would be different then.
We are learning from this experience, and will apply additional communication mediums next time to reach as many buyers as possible, when such important decision is needed.

JUST stop it. 62 BCT accounts (not even proven to be investors) does not equate the investors clearly stating anything other than they did not want to participate or they were unaware.

There were actually 93 votes, and while I agree that it was far from ideal, together with the poll thread posts it still represented that most received the early-trade idea positively.
If the situation was otherwise (as with total cap opinion for example), we would never have proceeded with this scenario.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypti | Release July | 100% POS | New Source | IPO Started on: August 01, 2014, 02:53:59 PM
I bought on the first day and the last it was open.  I had Crypti tokens in my account the entire time till I looked today.  How do they decide what terms and conditions they want to stick to and which they want to break as not everybody checks this thread daily.  It is disgusting to sell a product on the basis that it will be distributed at a later date, hold the funds and then decided to break the original conditions of the sale and refund on the justification that you can't break your original terms.

If you bought within the 750 cap, you should have received the XCR (including the bonus).
Please use your ID to verify that on the ledger:
http://crypti.me:2159/

If all listed fine and you still don't have the XCR in your balance, please PM me the ID, and we will check it with Bter ASAP.

As per the reasons to start the early-trades on the XCR tokens, please see both the following poll and blog-post:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=708720.0
http://blog.crypti.me/pre-trade-announcement-ticker

In nutshell, we raised this option to community decision only after being approached multiple times by pre-sale participants, who looked to trade stakes, and tried escrowing their Bter accounts through us. The link to poll was also featured on the Bter site (CRSALE section).

Only after the community clearly confirmed that they prefer this option, we agreed to let Bter started the early-trading 10 days before the scheduled mainnet launch and genesis distribution start.

Is the coin developed well ??

Yes, and we very happy with the internal testings performance so far.

Boris will post the public nodes addresses soon.

Someone posted a counterfeit countdown clock on AltCoinCalender:

Thanks, we contacted the AltCoinCalender owner with the request to remove it.

Awesome.

How are negotiations with potential merchants going?

We are working on several strategic partnerships at the moment, and will post an official update once they mature.
The current focus is launching a stable technology platform, and providing an easy to use documentation for partners and integrators.

All of the .2 BTC orders went through and weren't over the cap, so I should be fine... Why haven't I been credited with XCR then? Has everyone else, or did I read a previous post wrong about this?

Please PM me and crypti with you Bter ID; also contact Bter and show them a screenshot of ledger account pop-up box (appears after you enter your Bter id in the search box on the top right).

This post will be updated by Bter, together with CRSALE token removal.

It seems I actually answered you on this very matter in the poll thread:

Since there is still an opportunity for refund until Aug 10, it is possible for a holder of these "pre-coins" to sell them and then get a refund of the original BTC invested in CRShares.  This will be profitable for the original investor IF THE PRICE OF XCR falls below the IPO price.

Please note that refunds are disabled since the early-trading announcement on Monday, and now that XRC tokens have been distributed, the CRSALE will be removed by Bter.
