All articles done for PICISI are done by Promotions Contractors, if the work looks good to us they are compensated (on the books for now) with PICISI currency. 

I say 'on the books for now' because although the currency was created none was distributed as of yet, we are still trying to firm up some security aspects.

If you would like to be listed as a Promotions Contractor I could do that, then you could select from a list of assignments to do to earn PICISI currency.

NXT has far more than it needs to justify a far higher value than it reflects at present.  NXT needs to capitalize on opportunities otherwise some other coin will do it.  77 people holding 99% is evidence of a closely guarded secret.  If you want NXT to be a secret, goal achieved.  If you want NXT to be well adopted then we as a community need to cherry pick project and promote them like crazy until they bare the fruit they are suppose to produce.

The underlined point is that 'industry pros' don't take alexa.com seriously and perhaps shouldn't, nevertheless Alexa.com remains THE site ranking authority.  Please tell me which ranking sites are more comprehensive, have more intelligence (accurate info), and are as well known or trusted? 

I'll accept the 'Alexa.com is inadequate' thing when I find a suitable replacement, until then what industry pros think is irrelevant. 

As for Kickstarter, they have a huge lead on us, but the scope of what they do and who they serve, on both sides of the deal, are very limited, they could do far better but clearly don't need to and have consciously chosen not to.   

Google was not the first, second, or third search engine when they started, but they were confident that they knew how to squeeze more money from a search engine business than any other, and that's exactly what they did over and over again.

Look at the crowdfunding industry as it is now, freeze it in time, then look at it again 6 mos after we launch, you will notice that many crowdfunding sites will either duplicate many of our features or will go the way of the 'dogpile' search engine.

PICISI is bringing a wholly different approach to crowdfunding, one that the crowdfunding community was expecting, has been asking for, and still wants.

I know one person that simply types the word "update" everyday and that serves as the update for this thread.  

If you had updated this thread more I would have contributed more content to the site before now.  

I'll contribute additional content every day if you update this thread daily.  So now you have a legitimate reason to update the thread daily because the day before you got new content to talk about.

I would recommend that you add a message to this thread daily or at least every other day until your site gains traction.

Exciting Unexpected Premature Good News

On May 3rd I was informed that of the 600 million websites on the internet, www.PICISI.com is ranked at 22 million.  That was phenomenal news considering there is nothing at the site and we didn't ask anyone to go there.  Our plan regarding site performance was to start monitoring it after we launch but since it is now listed we will start monitoring ranking immediately.  

Apparently the prelaunch buzz is effective and caused people to search out the site.  That curiosity was recognized by Alexa.com, the foremost authority on site rankings, who ranked PICISI.com.

Today I took a look at the ranking, to my amazement it was adjusted to ~17M at this rate we expect to rise though the ranks fairly quickly.  Our ranking goal is to be under 100K in 3 months and under 10K in 6 months.  For perspective coinmarketcap.com is ranked at 14,406 worldwide, and bitcointalk.org is ranked at 5,645 worldwide.  

After we go under 10K we will aim to compete head-to-head with our primary competitors in the crowdfunding space: indiegogo.com who is ranked at 1018 worldwide and kickstarter.com who is presently ranked at 372 worldwide.


May 3, 2015 ranked at ~22M
May 5, 2015 rank adjusted to ~17M

True rank changes are done monthly or longer.  The 5M rank leap is an awesome sign for any site in prelaunch.
