Well, the fact Factom s been silent about M2 s good in my opinion. If they would plan to miss 2016 deadline, they would know it buy now. I can bet this is gonna be Xmas gift for all of us.
The factom github looks really promesing, they are working their #$% off to finish it. This last drop was just a christmas present, now we just need to wait till the usage start to pick up. hopefully after m2 company will start using factom to test the usage for their company. |

I Like the idea, but they need a big adoption to eventually make TIME rewarding and the risk is big it wont be able to do that aswell.

Their scenario 1 shows a good example, here they say scenario1 (2021), but add the rewards of 2019 thats about 1% i dont see how they come to this rewards they look more like 3%. So with 100 million turnover you will only get 1% thats 1 million divided by the people that buy into the ico.
Ico's are now really overrated and going nuts, cause people think x20 is easy on a ico like golem sold out in less then 30 minutes (10 million) If that happens to Chronobank that means you need 1 bn to only play even. and thats insane a lot for something still need to prove it will work and get adoption.

I was an avid supporter of Factom and still am. The project and idea is great. But one thing is for sure, the team is very shady when it comes to us. They are amazing on the cover and in the real world public eyes but with crypto user they are horrible and especially here, and us investors. I took a good position around 400k BUY average. I held strong and didn't sell because I didn't want to support the dumping. I used my holdings to make some good profit on margin swings once I realized what was going on. I shorted at 320k and have closed it and sold my holdings as well so I'm just barely profit right now which is fine and I'm out of Factom and waiting for 150k or below. Let's be real here guys please. Like I said, this will pump. Just not anytime soon. If you hold, you will break even or go in positive in time so don't worry, don't sell and dump the price further...just don't buy support this and make sure you have free BTC when we go under 200k

You can buy factoids and convert yes OR you can buy EC on the website. The EC on the website does nothing with factoids, stop that disinformation, it's just mainly there fortrading and fun, since it's a blockchain based business

You totally don't get it... FCT are burned when EC's are bought. The price of an EC is 0.001USD. Meaning that with one FCT you can currently buy 1.9USD/0.001=1900 EC's. If you buy FCT yourself and convert it yourself as a company you pay 0.001 per EC. Indeed, you can also decide to not buy FCT first and buy EC's directly from Factom. But then you pay a premium of 0.005USD. Factom burns the FCT in the background (probably against the normal rate of 0.001 I assume) to get the EC's for you. So you pay 0.004 too much basically, becaus eyou let factom do the work instead of yourself, but that doesn't change anything to the fact that FCT are burned and with that less FCT are available on the market. So, getting EC's has nothing to do with excessive FCT prices compared to EC price. You don't understand a single thing about Factom. Nobody is taking you serious here... Very wrong. That would make EC its own currency with a Parity to a Factoid. Where will the team get these Factoids in the background for people? Hop on poloniex and trade? Be real here dude, Factoids are just candy for idiots here it seems. (...) What I really would like to know if you are just a troll who spreads desinfo or if you really don't understand the economical-design of Factom. Please explain how it could be possible to purchase Entry Credits without that Factoids are converted into EC's and "burned"...? Spoiler: It is not possible. It is not a coincidence that FCT price is around TA now, right before M2 launch. M2 launch will give it a new reason to break the downtrend. This area is great for accumulating in my opinion.  Agree but we might see lowers if bitcoin breaks out, but its now testing the 5400 cny level, i think we can test support again but serieus people cant predict cause of btc atm. just guess I think factom just had a lot bad luck, not finished m2, bitcoin rising, venture capital hacked and now again btc on the rise. Sucks but thats how things go. |
