401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Copy Trading help you make enough to cover your bills? on: May 07, 2020, 06:04:45 PM
The COVID-19 fuelled recession has hit most of us where it hurts - in our pockets. With many of us losing our jobs or taking serious pay cuts, paying bills has become a point of pressure in our lives. Finding a way to fill the gaps has never been so important, and copy trading may offer the solution.

Here is how you can make enough to cover the bills with copy trading: https://thebitcoinnews.com/make-enough-to-pay-your-bills-with-copy-trading/
This might be good, but from my own understanding when you're into copy trading you're actually copying the trades of people who are experts right? So, what's the guarantee that you're never going to lose your money?

These experts are not some beings with powers to predict the future perfectly, they are also human beings like us and they follow the same strategy we all use, except that they are more good at it. But, does that mean they never lose their trades? I will just assume that you will be able to make lots of profit to cover up before the loss? Huh.
402  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: May 05, 2020, 08:23:12 PM
@theskillzdatklls
You do not really need to answer people to keep popping up here time to time. The whole point of having a bitcointalk topic for your casino is actually keeping the interest high. That is why having discussions here and talks here would mean that your topic would be at the top of the first page and the more people will see it when you are there. If you leave this topic to itself and not really bump it time to time that means you will not be able to get as much customers as you could.

Hence I suggest two things; one is keep popping up here time to time so that you could potentially keep the name out there all the time, second is find a way to make people talk here, I don't know what it would be but the more reasons to chat here the higher you will be at the top as well.
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering More or Wagering Less on: May 05, 2020, 04:40:48 PM
It's a general perception that if we gamble more, we can get more profit. Also we see gambling sites offering wagering competitions. The more you wager, you become eligible for a reward or prize money.

What's your though on this ?   Wagering more makes you win more money in gambling?
More the wager more the casino is at profit, in general terms because you are expected to loose against the house. For example you are playing against a house that operates at 1% edge then you are expected to loose 0.01 bitcoins every time you wager 1 bitcoin and hence they provide lucrative VIP programs and wager contests/races where you are lured into wagering more.

A lot of casinos also offer rakeback which is based on how much you wager, for a smart gambler who is looking for winning through non wager contests would lower wager and larger bets while someone who wants to chase wager contests and similar practices will often get trapped and loose much more than he gains from wager contests.
404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mobile Legends Gambling [Part II] on: May 05, 2020, 03:52:17 PM
Well, I have been a Mobile Legends player myself and while I would be hesitant to bet against anyone because I don't have a proper team to play with and neither do I feel like I am at the top of the game as I am only Grandmaster level on the game and the favorite hero being Layla and Odette.

But, I really love this thread and initiative and if possible please can you make some opportunities for players like me who can maybe find other players and team up to challenge some good teams? I have good individual game and mechanics but I fail to find good team and the random matching is just not good enough.

Are there any similar threads for other games like Pubg as well?
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency crime in Netherlands. on: May 05, 2020, 02:32:00 PM
Seriously, I don't know why people keep making this kind of mistake. Why is it that people don't check whether the site they are creating an account on is legit or not? There are lots of scammers out there and this is no longer a new thing. These ones have been caught, but are they the only ones? No they are not, there are still a lot of them out there doing the same and they will not all be caught, so this will continue.

It's up to the people to learn how to avoid these fake websites ,and they can do this by doing proper research before investing. Anyone that wants to create an account on any site should make sure that the website has the ‘https’ or padlock sign on the URL, if not, then you should proceed with care. Do your research and look for the right URL to the website.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: May 05, 2020, 02:01:22 PM
Greeting all,

I own a decent amount of Bitcoins which were made honestly with right investment & timing since 2012.
During 2017 until 2019, i invested in many different projects and 99% of my investment got wiped almost instantly during 2019.

I did recover some of my losses with the IEO hype but it seems the IEO hype is over now.
I know the right answer is to HODL and just let the sit back and relax but it wont grow my Bitcoins amount.

I read about many so called Bitcoin Banks, Projects,  who promise you 3% interest annually, simply don't believe in holding your bitcoins in one place for such a long time.

So how would you increase your bitcoins?
I don't know about Bitcoin banks, or are you referring to wallets? There are wallets with similar features as Banks, just like the BitPay wallet that offers Visa cards for users to withdraw their money from ATMs worldwide. Then there is Crypto.com which is very similar to banks and offers up to 8% annual interest for holding your coins with them. Seriously, I don't see anything much that you really have to do, you can hold your Bitcoin in a secure wallet till the price increases.

The Halving is already close and will be taking place in less than a week. It's believed that the price of Bitcoin will increase after the halving, and if you check, it's likely to be true because the supply will be less than the demand in the nearest future and that will cause the price to increase.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of the two will you choose as a gambler? on: May 04, 2020, 08:53:45 PM
I prefer the 2nd method because while it is more time consuming but it offers complete security and there is no way someone can access my coins and withdraw them.

The first option is good but it reminds me of a incident where a scammer used a new trick to collect emails, he would offer a lucky draw and you just have to enter your email id and hence you feel no problem and later they will use those email ids to try and brute force passwords and then sell the ids for spam.

I always thought there could be a easy way to security but for now the 2nd one is the best even though its a bit of time consuming.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: May 04, 2020, 07:37:03 PM
I can wait for them to get back to normal but I can also live without them. We have no choice but to accept things that are making us feel that we have to forcibly accept it because there's nothing that we can do.
And when the time comes and it gets back then that will make us feel excited again. There's no rush on this situation because this is a global situation that all of us are dealing with it.
I agree with you but I must admit that during the normal days I used to skip some low level games like esports and table tennis I never bet on but now a days the situation is so dire that I am actually gambling on Russian table tennis and most of them look pretty strange and rigged and then I bet on esports which is nothing but just complete degen bets and can go either ways.

I miss the days when tennis and other matches were going through all the day and I used to be so picky that I never bet on low grade matches so yeah I have been starving for some sports not just for betting but for the sake of the love for the sport I bet on. I hope everyone stays healthy and some sports that require no contact will be resumed soon, like darts have been resumed a bit in recent days.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: May 04, 2020, 06:52:25 PM
New managers are not going to scam your money right away, any smart person would know that if you became as known as being a bounty manager, you will be getting paid, maybe it will not be quick at first but you got your foot in the door, so you are making money with that deal, lower than stealing all the money obviously but you are making money with it, however if you wait and not scam anyone and get another job and another job and continue like that you are going to have a stream of income that will be a lot more than any other job you can get.

So, new managers gets my seal of approval after their second bounty, if a person does two decent bounties without an issue, the third will be without an issue as well. Obviously project could be a scam, but that is not managers fault.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 04, 2020, 06:29:00 PM
Bayern rarely ever breaks bank, hell I don't want to be "positive racism" here but Germans never do, they are always awesome with their financials, almost all nations in world has deficit, they have profits, a nation with profits in the middle of Europe with that awesomeness, do you know how close to impossible it is, by all means if they didn't do it I would say it would be impossible, but they did it so I can't say impossible.

So, Bayern will either find a player who is at the right amount for them, or they will just not get at all, I rather see them play a youth star they have for a year until they get someone over them paying 100 mil on some player. Sane however deserves a lot of money, City don't but Sane does, like if you get him, you are set for at least another 5 years, that dude can play and make a difference.
411  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis after the epidemic on: May 04, 2020, 05:38:17 PM
Some people already made x2 from this bottom out, thats crazy to think about but quite possible as well. Think about it, price was under 4k for a period, however it went back up to 5k as well, if some person had a buy order between 4k and 5k, the price also went over 9k as well, so they probably x2, IN A MONTH.

So, it is quite possible that there were a million ways to make money during this period, we all know just the bitcoin part and that was one way to double your money in a month, which is crazy to think about, if thats only the bitcoin way to double your money, think of all the other ways people could have made profits. Long story short crisis and chaos always brings out the best potentials to make money, thankfully I bought some as well and profited, I would have been very sad if I missed this chance.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Intelligent Masternodes? on: May 04, 2020, 04:21:27 PM
Masternode must be a worst idea in my opinion because it let our money to be spent for VPS whereas with POS you may spend all your money into cryptos which again may work for you. But the money you spend for VPS is going away from this crypto space which will indirectly affect all of us in long run. Just take time to think about it.

I mean every single penny must be important.; So, why should we allow money to be going away from this crypto space in the name of setting up masternode. All masternode operators must think about adopting POS algorithm which must be the great thing we must have because it encourages the investors by paying interest to their money.
That is really a great perspective like we should not allow money to move out of crypto world. Any staking method should encourage people to keep on investing within crypto world. I completely agree with you because each and every penny is more important if a concern about building more valuable future. When we are spending some $5 for VPS hosting every month then that will end up summing up very big money over the time and when we are calculating for thousands of crypto adopters then it will be a very huge money but it is going really out of crypto world. That is very bad. So, masternode concept should not be encouraged in my opinion too.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Want to invest on: May 04, 2020, 03:49:45 PM
actually if you have long been in crypto you will know which coins are good to buy, the most important is still bitcoin, then you can try altcoin ranking or the coins you mentioned earlier.
and also soon btc will experience halving of course the price will rise, you should buy it
Without any doubts, bitcoin must be the only coin on-which most of the people from the community who have been into cryptos for longer period will invest. People are speculating very big price levels for bitcoins due to upcoming halving and as per the past history, those speculations are time proven and why not we take chances to be catching those wonderful opportunities.

Right now, I am holding only bitcoins and I plan like before halving I will be buying some more bitcoins. Because if we buy right now then we can make at least 10x profits in next 12 to 20 months of times. People who believe into the power of bitcoins, will be doing like me Cheesy.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to get some Ethereum? on: May 03, 2020, 04:15:15 PM
Definitely not a bad time to buy ethereum, it looks like things are priming up to be a great situation for us. I personally would like to get my hands on my ethereum as well but ı have to wait a bit more, in a month or so I will definitely buy more ethereum. Do not forget that bitcoin is still the number one coin and it is definitely the one that is getting most attention, there are people out there who barely heard the name bitcoin but never heard ethereum, they are getting lower and lower in numbers but that is still existing.

However just because bitcoin is number one doesn't change the fact that ethereum is number two, you can think of ethereum as old soul as much as you want but when something major happens it still gets a ton of attention as well.
415  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: May 02, 2020, 06:22:51 PM
I think they listened to this complaint and did something about it.

As you can see there are symbols on the hit and stand also the other buttons and they are active when you are betting.
They werent like this when I was betting, which I always play this casino game, 14 hours ago. So it was just put in on their blackjack game.
There could also be a confirmation with the big titled names as well. Like let's say you want to stand, it could have a confirmation with STAND big titled and you can confirm that way. I haven't been able to play for few days now so I don't know if they are doing that or not but that would basically solve all of those issues easily.

I haven't been able to play because my VPN yearly subscription ended and because of corona I need more money so I haven't renewed it, now I am using some free vpn systems but they have like France, USA, Netherlands and Canada, all of which is "restriction region" in stake, so I can't play there at all. We all know people from those places definitely plays on stake, so restricting only makes them use VPN but at least stake gets the responsibility out of themselves and into the gambler, which is what they should do anyway.
416  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: May 02, 2020, 04:50:31 PM
When you are using ToR that is not happening, google doesn't know who you are or why you are there and so forth, each time you use it you are a brand new person, which is awesome if you think about the fact that you are not followed like google usually does, but at the same time google doesn't know who you are so you will be asked each time. It is a trade off, either stay anon and not be known and solve captcha each time, or just be followed by google if you are fine with it (I am) and don't solve any captcha if you already have a few times.
ToR is also quite risky for the casino as well, think about it you are not really sure who is logging into your website at all, that means all kinds of trouble. With one person being able to log in with ToR that basically tells the world that you can use it as a general browser that is doable with fortunejack, which could invite different sort of people.

How about a person who uses it for themselves but one day gets hacked and someone totally else hacks that person and logs in? How would you know the difference? Or someone who gambles from a nation that is illegal to gamble like Netherlands? Or maybe they did something against the rules, like have multiple accounts all at once? None of these could be followed up if they don't know your IP properly. In a world of KYC, it's weird to request tor honestly.
417  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Contests 🏆 TvT 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: May 02, 2020, 04:00:24 PM
I wasn’t aware that Windice was getting whales who wager huge amounts, as we often see whales at Bitdice and if that’s what you’re comparing between these two sites then I’m really happy for Windice. @janggernaut in my personal opinion if people can’t wager 10 Satoshi's per bet then they should quit gambling for a while, and focus on saving more funds before they resume gambling again as playing on a slow site will be very boring.
Yeah, windice has always had whales, look at the previous competitions they had, literally broke over 30 btc wagered in few days by some people, which shows you they are here. I am not saying they wager that much all the time, they only wager that much for competition so they can be first, however that basically shows you that those people exists and here, so even if they do not wager that much outside of competitions, they must be still wagering more than a smaller gambler.

However that doesn't mean there aren't people who wager low as well. So, windice is inclusive about the gamblers they have, they have big whales but they have smaller fish, they welcome all amounts of people. Hence why I think 10 million bets on windice means it is still a decent sizable wagered amount.
The thing is, between the corona virus and the lockdown, plus windice getting 1 second per bet type of results, and there are new things going on everyday, it is actually quite getting bigger as well. I was saying maybe removing the competitions of the old (where they were giving out 0.2 btc and not 0.02 btc) would actually hurt their marketing but I think they already did what they wanted to do with those competitions, put their name on the map and nowadays they just need to do stuff to keep people interesting, otherwise they are no longer required to get their names heard anymore, everyone knows windice, they either play here already or they do not play here but they know it exists, so that part of marketing is obviously done. Now only thing left is move the casino to a new level higher from here.
418  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | Crypto Powered Sportsbook and Casino | 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: May 01, 2020, 08:51:32 PM
I never really fully understood how the max bet really worked, I personally have like 3 eth maximum in some of the biggest games (well they are all postponed or cancelled nowadays, I am talking about back when corona wasn't a thing and teams actually played) and here it is some dude gambling on just one part of the game for 29 eth and getting over 70 eth in return.

I am sure there is a very very valid reason for that to happen and Stake makes it to both keep themselves and their investors protected as well (I assume they must have some investors, even if we do not see them and not public like anyone can become investor type of deal). I would love to wager a lot on some NBA games for example (well I can't right now anyway) but it always gave me 3 eth as maximum, never really changed, all games and all the time, just 3 eth, so I assume its personalized as well.
419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peter Schiff speculation, bitcoin will never hit $50k on: May 01, 2020, 06:11:41 PM
Wouldn't really makes sense for someone who is not investing into bitcoin at all and invested in other stuff to promote bitcoin and downplay his own investment would it.

Not just because he might be wrong, not because he is actually believing what he is saying (maybe he actually does believe it, maybe he doesn't) but that basically is the only reason, he might be just trying to get as much attention away from bitcoin and into his own investments. That is what a real investment banker would do, that is what a broker would do, anyone who thinks Peter is dealing with his own alone is wrong, dude manages a lot of money and if he comes up and says "I was wrong, bitcoin is good, I made a mistake" that would be terrible for him, so he is going to obviously stick to his guns.
420  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just hit $8000 today and dropped right back on: May 01, 2020, 04:08:10 PM
To think that we were barely over $6k a month ago, just barely over $7k a week ago thinking if we could break the $7.3k resistance, and now broke over $9k and dropped a bit back to $8.7k is actually amazing.

This should show couple of things about bitcoin, first of all resistance and supports means nothing to us, we could break them easily and even break them back to back without any issue at all, people think resistance means something but they are just there for show, we could break over them easily and even reach 2k+ higher than those levels as well.

Another thing is how bitcoin doesn't have an unlimited amount of increase, it does go up a lot but at the same time it doesn't really go up forever, eventually it reaches to a point buyers are saying enough is enough, that is when you know the increase stops.
