Any news or updates about the V2? I just visited the site again after my last visit some time ago. I cant find something new or something different from my last visit. I'm accessing from my mobile browser and I feel that it is laggy now, it was better as per imho. The chat seems to be quite as well, said hello but no one is replying to my chat. Hey Bitinity. We just released our final patch prior to V2. V2 will still be slated for this summer, a lot of work is going into it along with the release of many new games. It's a major project and we don't want to release it without everything being completed.

That said, along with many improvements, our MintRain program is now released. A screenshot of our FAQ is here:



We think this should be a fun way to start incentivizing the chat in a productive way. For now, it's paying out fairly generously and if it stays healthy we can keep it that way.

When was 2.0 originally supposed to be launched?

I think the initial plan was around May and June periods, I am not sure if that was beta stage or it was full release but I remember talks about those days and that was actually some decent planning considering without corona that is quick enough, with corona those days could very well be times when people go back outside and start living life like we used to which means there could be less people stuck at home and that could mean there would be less people gambling online, just as the 2.0 upgrade happens... I mean I know we can't rush development because it would be risky but the timing is seriously very bad, having 2.0 during corona would have made mintdice so much more money than having it just as the disease is ending and everyone going back outside.

Yeah, this corona virus really didn't worked out that well for mintdice or at least mintdice in bitcointalk to be more precise (because I don't know what happened to them in general, maybe they are doing very well). I personally wouldn't want to be in the third or fourth page time to time on this section if I was running a casino because I would want everyone to constantly talk about me, that is how it was for mintdice for a while as well, everyone was talking about it, for some reason it got a bit less.

I am sure they are still getting tons of people and I am sure they probably have a sales funnel from somewhere else, but its sad to see them not be around here too much anymore, theskilldatkillz has been prime example of what we want all the owners be like, he is always here, surely he is still here as well. I hope this topic gets more alive again soon.

Thanks a lot, the coronavirus has been rather messy to deal with lately which has slowed some things down but sped up others. With the new patch release and especially once the 2.0 update is released, I and others will be here to answer all your questions.

Fritzer, I'm sorry if you had a bad experience. I imagine your withdrawal has been processed by now. Some withdrawals get flagged for various security reasons but get processed rather quickly once they are reviewed.

Or do you mean 2 new and one sportsbook so that is total of three? I know you are a big poker guy, so I wanted to see poker on this website for a while.

Many many poker websites in the crypto world get very little cash tables, it gets harder and harder to find places go play poker, I remember you saying you know some people, so I thought in v2 maybe you would have poker and attract some talent. Honestly it was more like a hope and wishful thinking than anything else. Even without it, two new games we never seen before sounds quite exciting.

There will specifically be two new skill games, one casino game and a sports book, all in addition to our current four games. That makes 8 total games. I hope that clears things up.

While our games aren't completely revolutionary (well maybe one of the skill games is, Castle Royale), I haven't seen any good replications of them out there. I'll let you guys decide for yourselves once we detail them here on our 2.0 release.

I didn't mean "you do not have to answer" as in like not a responsibility. Of course, you should answer peoples questions as much as you can, that is just being a proper and good owner of a website and I think you are doing right by answering them. I meant like "you do not have to come here only to answer questions, you could come here for other reasons to just chat with us as well" as in I mean the only reason why you come here and talk with us should not be to answer question, it could also very well be to come here and chat with us about the future of mintdice or even other stuff as well.

Yeah, no doubt you guys will be great for sure, hence why I said you should come here more often to chat, because you know how gamblers think and you basically just get excited about the features like we do, and that is basically the thing that makes mintdice unique. I have one more sportsbook that I will not name that is like this, they are basically in love with sports like crazy, so it shows on the promotions and so forth as well, they get hyped with the gamblers together, so do you.

So, I do not even doubt that v2 will be cool, hell v1 is cool already enough. Probably needs a bit design change but that is about it, anything above that is extra scoop on top of it. Me wanting to chat with you has nothing to do with mintdice though, you are just a cool person to talk with.

Thanks a lot coinfinger, very nice compliment. We're doing some more final pushes pre-launch with some more updates. Still have a little ways to go to get to v2 though which will have a huge interface/design change probably with more of what you have in mind as well. You'll have to tell me your thoughts when it is live.

Sports is definitely a good component. As I've mentioned before, we ideally want to make MintDice a one stop shop for everything, be that casino games, sports betting, skill games or investment so that pretty much anyone will have a good reason to be here.

Things have really been taking off lately. The site keeps getting busier which is nice to see. Great before we launch the updated platform as well

That is really sounding too awesome and I am sure you are going to make a big change as well, making like mintdice a lot better. But, when you update the website and there is no one that knows how it was before, and only know the new version that would be like people reacting "what is the big deal, yeah it is cool but that is it" because they wouldn't know the first version.

So, I guess it must be really helpful to get more people right now just before the update because people should see the previous versions before they could see the new one, they would love the new updates a lot more that way because they would know it went from what to now what, that way the update would worth something.

Mintdice seems to be slow in the improvement since it came here for the first time almost a year ago.
I know there must be some good reasons why it takes a bit long time in improvement compared to other new sites.
Perhaps this global pandemic also make small delays on what you are working on the site, understandable since almost all countries are affected.
No other things to say, but I hope to see something great once the v2 is launched so those who are waiting for it will not be disappointed.

But I cant any details about this leveling system, is this still a "work in progress"? I'm currently on Level 9 with a silver star. What will be the benefits of this leveling system for players? Yeah, from May 19 to June 8 they didn't posted anything at all here. We didn't neither, I don't really know why, but it was getting a bit lower in the pages at bitcointalk. Honestly, I still feel like that V2 will make a huge difference to the website when it comes, they are sharing a bit of features small by small, like having a new game with the new design and all that, but at the end of the day if they do not change all together, it is not really v2, it is just preview.

After V2 happens and we get to see all the new games and all the new design and all the improvements and have the mintrain and all that, we are going to finally see more people coming in and the more people that comes in means the more messages there will be here as well. Maybe they can do signature campaign widely with many users for the V2 release.

Yes, there is a VIP program and all rewards are retroactive so if you are a silver star you will be able to claim anything going backwards that you have already earned. The VIP program will have two major functions, both giving real Bitcoin/cryptocurrency to users who claim certain tiers and also giving certain on-site rewards. We're still drafting them up and working them in via integration but for instance, the ability to send longer chat messages, use .jpgs or .gifs in chat will all be available to VIPs as they level up. There's many more things on the table.

The on site rewards program is largely figured out, it's mostly a matter of implementation. Fortunately or unfortunately, since most of our focus is on launching 2.0, we can't quite give the rewards program the attention it needs but it will be one of our top priorities just after we launch V2.

Oh I didn't had any issues or troubles, I just wanted to point out there was a lack of communication here but that is not important part, if you keep bumping your thread up you would probably get more people to your website as well. Having like promotions or any other marketing would increase the customer numbers but you could stop that until the new version launches and that would make sense, however when you come in here and talk about anything, and I mean anything at all because you can't just write "bump" which would be unprofessional so you could write about anything that wouldn't look suspiciously like a "bump" .

You could probably get more and more people. One of the best ways to get that new version a lot of attention is to make it known that you are working on it to plenty of people as frequently as you can.
