401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use crypto? on: October 03, 2019, 08:30:47 AM
The problem is not with the people's mentality to assume cryptocurrencies as a sort of investment instead of utility tokens but the real problem is with projects and their progress. All of them are just theory on papers. In reality, none of them actually created any worthy platform to actually use their coin. I have trusted many projects in past whom I thought would become some notable names but their developments are too slow to actually reach among audience and solve their real life problems.
So the difficulty in practical execution of projects has limited their scope to just an investment.
Every Projects that being introduced ended up being an investment assets instead of having a real usage from the industry. Many developers who targeted field of business still unable to execute and performed, We do see more people inside but  have same reasons, everyone are looking for investment business thinking that crypto is one of those good venue for investing money and expect for good profitable returns.

Or we can say crypto is one good venue to fool people and take their money by luring them high returns. I don't know how people easily throw their hard-earned money to some stranger over internet who is claiming to be XYZ by posting fake LinkedIn profiles. Not everyone's Einstein then why do people expect that every project will become successful?
Creating blockchain applications is not easy job. It requires immense knowledge as well as creativity. Only invest money in projects that are really launched by someone as far-sighted as Vitalik Buterin.

Barcelona - Inter Milan
There is big difference between the games Barcelona play at their home and the games they play away. In La Liga they have played three home games and won all. But they have earned only 4 points in the 4 away matches. However Barcelona hasn't have the performance that has been expected and Inter Milan has won all their games in Serie A, I expect Barcelona to win the match as they will play in Camp Nou.
My prediction is 2-1 Barcelona

The Barcelona XI for the match has been declared and guess what? Messi is starting the game!!
The main reason for Barcelona's struggle in Laliga away games this season is the absence of Messi in team. But now he has fully recovered and ready to fire!
Also tonight XI has De Jong, Arthur and Busquets in midfield along with Roberto, Lenglet, Pique and Semedo in defence. It is interesting that Valverde chose Semedo above Firpo to start as Left Back. Let see how it goes. Also I would love if Barca substitute Suarez with Dembele in second half and we will see Griezmann, Messi and Dembele trio for the first time ever!

My Prediction: Barcelona 5 : 1 Inter
404  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Site with payment BTC on: October 02, 2019, 05:51:41 PM
How do I get bitcoin on my sales site, in my btc wallet? I don't want to pay 1% for sites just to confirm tx

You can use CoinPayments, fees is only 0.5%. Also there is no need to do KYC. I think being a merchant, you can afford that much fees. Even VISA/MasterCard charge inter-change fees which is near to that.
Else, you always have BTCPayServer as an option. However, if you are not much into tech and doesn't fully know how bitcoin transaction works then setting up BTCPayServer is tough job.
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: October 02, 2019, 05:06:52 PM
Real Madrid Academy which I think is good one of which is Alvaro Morata.

Zidane always provides opportunities for young players from his academy to be able to play with the first team. This is done to take advantage of the talents of these young players and minimize expenses to buy players. In contrast now with Barcelona, which used to use services from academia, now instead buy great players directly.

Are you sure? Can you name any player other than Lucas Vazquez and Valverde who actually came from Madrid's academy and playing in Real Madrid's first team currently?
Whereas, in Barcelona first team I can name many players:
Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto, Sergio Busquests, Lionel Messi, Ansu Fati, Carles Perez, Carles Alena, Wague, Riqui Puiz.

So in terms of giving opportunities to academy players, Barcelona is surely better than Real Madrid.
406  Economy / Economics / Re: CASHING OUT YOUR CRYPTO-CURRENCY PROFITS on: October 02, 2019, 04:09:46 PM
Hi everybody, I have a serious question to address:

How will you tell (or reveal) to your Bank that the huge daily (or weekly) deposits into your Bank Account are from crypto-currency profits?
- Would you go to your local Bank Branch and tell them ahead of time, that you are a crypto-currency investor BEFORE you make huge deposits?
- Would you go to your local Bank Branch and tell them that you are a crypto-currency investor AFTER you make huge deposits?

In my case, my bank never asked me about sudden increase in receipts. In 2017-18, I made some big profits from cryptocurrencies and withdrew about 6x of my previous bank balance. But I received no follow-back from my bank. Rather I received call from my bank representative offering me zero-fees credit card and some other privileges.
However, I had to disclose my source of income while paying income tax. In that, I showed all my profits as capital gains and never received any inquiry from Income Tax Department about the exact source of income.

408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: October 02, 2019, 02:59:48 PM
Hello traders. What's your opinion could BTC kill banking system? Bitcoin has an advantage over fiatbecause its amount is limited and it can't fall under inflation.Inflation usually is caused by monetary policies of our central banks. Bitcoin is free from inflation, governement control and  high transaction fees.Banks can’t control BTC because it has no representative and is fully decentralized. That's why banks are afraid of BTC.

I trust bitcoin 100% because it's not controlled by the banks, government, corporation or individual. Bitcoin is a purely decentralized currency controlled by no one. With bitcoin, you have freedom and privacy. If you trust banks you have no freedom and privacy at all. Bitcoin gives you total control over your privacy.

Say again? Do you think no corporation or individual has control over Bitcoin? So you mean the unrealistic pumps/dumps that happen or the trading volume of BTC/USDT, everything is real and natural?
Pff! Bitcoin price and market is mostly controlled whales and big corporations. When I say big corporations, it means Exchanges obviously. They have huge reserves of Bitcoins like 250K-500K. Whenever, they wish to manipulate market, they easily do so. They can buy or sell off just 5% of their reserves and it can easily trigger BTC price by 20-30%.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: October 02, 2019, 01:33:31 PM
We always see the price rise for a short period after the listing in the exchanges or after IEO, but soon price be come down,
this may due to two reasons:
The first reason is that the coin or token has no real value.
The second reason is the large sale of those who got his coin  free such as airdrop.
Isn't that true?

You are right. Upto the point of listing, value of coin is what project devs choose for ICO. But not every project sell all coins at that price. There are discounts, there are airdrops, there are bounties and what not. These free distributions dilute the price of coin. So when coin is listed on exchange for the first time, first line of sellers i.e. real investors start selling. But soon second line of sellers who got coins for no value start dumping their coins and price starts to fall.

411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: October 02, 2019, 12:46:06 PM
For me, it depends on what type of person you are; if you are a busy person and making trading as a part-time job, I think you need to go in long trading. Because in daily trading, you need to focus on the cryptocurrencies price, also require too much effort, stress, and quick decision. But in long term trading you just need to wait for your profitable rate to sell your cryptos, but the difference of the daily trader to long trader, the daily trader can gain money daily and much high compared to the long-term trader. Smiley

Cryptocurrencies don't give you assurance in long tern like mutual funds do. You can't say after 5 years, you will approx. make XX% profit on your investment. It may be possible that your investment doubles the next month or fall to 80% after 5 years.
Therefore, when dealing with something as hot as cryptocurrencies, better remain as close to market as possible. Follow all news, read charts everyday, anticipate events. Keep your portfolio updated or your investment will die with dead coins.
412  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is easier 1-2% a day or 20-30% per month on: October 02, 2019, 12:24:18 PM
Neither 1-2% everyday nor 30% every month is realistic target can be achieved so make it something under realistic like 5-6% per month will be a good choice.

The OP's question is really like, Which one is easier winning daily at gambling or winning lottery at once!
In truth, both are impossible. No one is that skillful as well as lucky enough to make 1-2% daily, nor does anyone can make guaranteed 20-30% every month.

As suggested by you, 5-6% is quite achievable. All it takes is following some good signals and doing intra-day with short intervals. But for someone indulged completely in trading, is it really fruitful to make just 5-6% a month?
413  Economy / Economics / Re: How negative interest rates affect Bitcoin on: October 02, 2019, 11:38:11 AM
Negative interest rates act as a simulator for banks to give their excess reserve as loans rather than keeping it with central bank of the country. The concept is more evident in developed countries like Japan and Switzerland. In developing countries like India, central banks pays interest upto 5-6% when it receives fund from commercial banks but in case of developed countries, commercial banks have to pay to central bank to keep their money.
Therefore, banks are more inclined to give money to general public than central bank.
I don't see any direct impact of this on Bitcoin but since negative rated instills economic growth, it may have indirect positive impact on investments like Bitcoin.
414  Economy / Economics / Re: Average savings across the globe on: October 02, 2019, 09:22:07 AM
-snip-

Savings is not always beneficial for economical growth. National Income is defined as sum total of consumption and savings i.e. Y = C + S.
Now suppose there is increase in income, the additional income could be either saved or spent. If it is saved then marginal propensity to save will increase which means no economic activity has been undertaken with additional money. Hence, MPS is inversely proportional to economic spending.
So if additional income is always saved then it may act as hindrance for economical growth.
Savings aree beneficial for a country because it is a common sense where most of the people put their savings, it is always in the bank and the bank uses the deposits as a capital to make some investments where they can make a lot of money and because of that strategy, the bank helps the country to sustain the flow of currency so their economy will have a continuous growth.

Oops, yes! My bad. I ignored an important assumption in my post. In case of two-sector economy, S = I where I is investment. So yes, when people save money, they either keep it to themselves or keep it in banks. In case they keep money with themselves then it doesn't contribute to economic development but if they deposit it with bank, bank further lend it to others. Here, another concept comes into picture, the concept of Investment Multiplier. When banks lend money, the borrower further give money to someone else, the other person may deposit money into his bank. This way money is back into bank and bank can once again lend the same money to someone else. So, savings do contribute to economic development if it is channelled through banks.

Same, I was busy in some work and didn't get time to watch that game. What a performance from Bayern, unbelievable!
Last year Messi came to Wembley and scored beautiful brace against Tottenham, this year it's Gnabry who took the charge to humiliate Tottenham. 3 goals in 4 minutes, just a Bayern thing!

And yeah, Messi and Dembele are back in Barça's squad for tonight encounter with Inter. For the first time in this season that every attacking player of Barça is fit to play. It is going to be a very enjoyable encounter!
I saw the Highlights & Goals that happened in that match because I couldn't watch it live. Looks like Bayern are too strong to be against Tottenham.
Hopefully Lionel Messi is also able to score 4 goals like the Bayern players did.

Lionel Messi has so far zero goal in this season. He played just 2 Laliga and 1 champions league game, none of which he played for full 90 minutes. So far, he is not able to fully-recover the injury. I think 4 goals is too much ask from him for tonight game but it would be good if he plays full 90 minutes and scores one or two.
416  Economy / Economics / Re: Average savings across the globe on: October 02, 2019, 07:02:59 AM
The average personal amount of savings are between $ 2,900 for the USA and ¥ 5,806,554 for Japan. The USA comes last in our ranking, but their neighbor Canada is one of the richest countries regarding personal savings.

418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys ok if BTC ends in the 10k USD range at the end of 2019? on: October 01, 2019, 06:58:39 PM
It will be great if it reaches near 15k, after a massive downfall last year it slowly started pumping and we saw some positive results in the third quarter but now we are once again experiencing a downfall which is really frustrating, I believe this is to scare panic sellers and big Whales want to make some twist by the end of the last quarter.

I don't think fall to $8K is any big deal at all. When we discuss the price speculation of something as dynamic as Bitcoin then instead of single number, we should always talk in array or range. It is very much evident from charts at the moment that Bitcoin will easily sail 2019 with the price range of $8-13K which is pretty good compared to last year fall.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins vs BTC halving on: October 01, 2019, 06:12:07 PM
IMO alts are going to have a run before Bitcoin reaches a new ATH, but once Bitcoin starts its run then alts will drop from wherever they are. I expect some alts to die out before that run happens but many will see huge increases maybe even their own ATHs. 2020 is going to be exciting cor crypto.

We don't need to wait, majority of the alts is dead today, and some of them are being delisted anytime soon.

I think we already understand why bitcoin is the king of crypto, because all of the alts still depend on its price movement. Now we are speculating that the bitcoin halving will bring life to major alts. If that is our presumption then we should see another 6 or 7 months of alt bear markets, just saying. I'm seeing the alts will grow by 2020 but we need to look further at 2021.

I don't think Bitcoin halving will be beneficial for altcoins. The event is solely related to Bitcoin and may bring instant jump in Bitcoin price by 30-40% or even more. Whereas altcoins are rather expected to hold their values in terms of USD but may fall in terms of BTC value. So it is advisable to hold Bitcoin rather than distributing portfolio is other coins for now.
420  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: October 01, 2019, 05:14:18 PM
I'm on neither side. You see if you want to take advantage of every situation you cannot really be part of one group and just do a certain trade based on what you like to happen you are personally limiting yourself in the opportunities you will have in the market and by doing so you are increasing your chances of accepting more losses compared to having all the options you have. If you really want to protect your capital you will be open to cutting losses, buying on break outs, and maybe shorting and not just the one that fits in a particular group.

Agreed. Trading is not black/white sort of thing. It is grey, you have to follow mix of different strategies. You can't stick to one plan and hope it works everytime. Crypto Market is highly dynamic, things change here at the fraction of time so there is no fun holding any coin for long. One has to take advantage of every market curve.
