The author of the thread got like -4000 negative trust rating, not sure how will you compare this scam to bitcoin, it's not even worth talking to, and if the coin is backed then it would not be decentralized anymore unlike bitcoin, and bitcoin is still continuously being developed by blockstream, other will have a hard time catching up to bitcoin.

Am I the only one who thinks this is actually a bad thing and make people focus on the exchange hosting rather than the actual project and what the team is offering etc.?
if the project developers are smart enough im sure they will go to a exchange with credibility, if the intention of developers is to scam people they will go to exchange like yobit. |

In this world I believe that where money flows in easily will become a target from bad eyes ,this is where scammers comes in ,since 2017 last bullrun ICO has became a target but alas very soon IEO will eradicate all these present issues
I hope that IEO will totally remove those scammers here in cryptocurrencies. As we saw the year 2017, bitcoin hit an all-time high not knowing that scammers have a lot of investors who actually scammed by them. They take advantage of the market and use it to scam a lot of big investors at that time. IEO will not completely eliminate the scam in the ico space, there is already a IEO exit scam happened in the chinese community, you should only invest in IEO when the exchange is trusted, people should be careful when investing, they need to do a research first before invest and they should keep in mind invest what you can afford to lose. |

Most of the people think they could only get alot of profits when bullrun happens, that's why people say 20xx will be the best year for cryptocurrency, but enormous profits is also achievable at trading, but it requires technical skills which most people don't have but it can be acquire if people try to trade and learn.

Since IEO are regulated by the exchange itself, safe to say it will be more profitable compare to the traditional ico's, and exchange would be readily available, and the team wouldn't be able to run with the money since the exchange has the team information, the only way for it to be profitable if the team doesn't slack about developing their project, that's what i see in most of the ico's, they just do a single update in a quarter when they could so much in a single quarter.

The main difference is that it is free from any regulation or barrier. So many institute or govt are feared due to this. But with advancement of technology and legal ethics it will also be accepted so i think we must look forward to this
Not all people woulb be able to explore crypto since not all are able to access the internet, and given that elderly have a hard time adopting to technology safe to say probably the next generation of people would be able to enjoy the blockchain technology, not all government are against cryptocurrency, in philippines bitcoin was legalized as a security, maybe in the future other government will regulate it. |

Both of them do have risks, but in trading you can just minimize the risk of loss, of course with your skills and abilities in reading the market. but in gambling you cannot minimize the risk with your skills, because you depend on luck
However as a sports bettor, I believe my skills could help me to win, and I also read that there are people who are successful in sports and they even make a living, it's just like trading, they master it and they make it. this would also apply to esports betting, if you have the knowledge of the game and recognize each strength and weakness of each team you would surely win without relying on luck. |
